However, the service left a bit to be desired. Unfortunately, my server seemed to have forgotten about me at times. While it wasn’t a deal-breaker, it did take away from an otherwise solid dining experience.

Overall, The Am-Thai has great food and a nice atmosphere. With a bit more attentiveness from the staff, this could easily become a top-notch spot. I’d still recommend giving it a try if you’re in the mood for some tasty Thai dishes!

Great vibe, food and service.
We ordered a salad, an entree, a soup and 2 appetizers. All of them were great. Highly recommended soup and the dessert, mango sticky rice. Definitely will come back to try other dishes.

Undoubtedly favorite Thai restaurant in Williamsburg, possibly even Brooklyn. Their green curry is delicious but the pad Thai is a showstopper. Without a doubt the best I’ve ever had. Will be back many more times!

Very welcoming staff with a touch of warm and homey ambiance. Seating is limited due to the size of the establishment, but it makes up for the well crafted menu selection. The drink menu is also very creative and it contains a little bit of everything for everyone's preference. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. The other reviews speak for themselves. My recommendation would be the bison beef dish since it's not common but very flavorful.

AM-THAI was amazing……some of the best Thai food I have had in a long time. I have eaten Thai food all over the world and this place beats most by far. I would definitely rank this gem in the top 3 of all time.

Had an amazing time here last week. There was a slight delay with our reservation and they couldn't have been more apologetic and accommodating. Once we sat down everything we ate was phenomenal. You can probably skip the Maryland lump crab Thai fried rice as I don't think the bang for your buck is there, but everything else we had was spectacular. I could eat the crispy pork pad see ew every day for the rest of my life. Will definitely be back

We just stumbled in here being new to the neighborhood but were so impressed!! The beef panaag curry and pork knuckle were absolutely stellar. We also had the fish fermented papaya salad, chicken satay, and kombucha which were all great. Definitely will be back!

I always order Uber eats because they have good promotions, and I think the overall value met my expectations. However, I don’t think I would pay full price, overall, I think the flavors are worth the discounted price. The flavors are definitely more on the sweeter side.

The server today was so hospitable and thoughtful. Its always so nice finding places like this in NY the food just feels like it's curated with care and everyone working there is very compassionate. Also the mood is so warm feels like a hug.

I was a long time customer of the original Am-Thai in Kensington and just recently visited the Williamsburg location. This is the best Thai food I have ever had and the atmosphere is top notch. Do yourself a favor and make a visit!

AM Thai is our new favorite. The people are so kind, the space is warm and inviting, and the food is AMAZING. The Khao Soi, Pad Thai (which is usually forgettable at most places), dry crab noodle, and panang curry were all delicious. Can't wait to go back! Thank y'all for a delicious meal!

You can tell by the size of the prawns and the fresh veggies in the Pad Thai, Creamy Tom Yum Soup and Black Ink Linguine Seafood Pad Cha. Great value and always a satisfying meal, regardless of whether you’re dining in or taking out.

This is a fantastic Thai food spot in the neighborhood! We started with the BBQ pork as an appetizer, followed by the basil fried rice and bison kaprow for the main course. Am Thai Bistro in Williamsburg is the top spot for Thai food! I can’t get enough of their Panang, Crab Fried Rice, and Pad See Ew. It’s such a great place, I’ll definitely be back again and again!

We had the best dining experience! The food was incredible we got chicken satay, tom kha soup, beef panang thai, basil fried rice, prawn pad thai, and khao soi crispy pork. Yes, we ordered a lot of food but it was easily one of the best meals. Also, the yuzu margs were delicious! I can’t stress how great the service was - as soon as we finished the servers quickly packed up our left overs, waters were filled constantly, etc. At the end of the meal they bought out mango sticky rice with a candle and sang us happy birthday. It was so thoughtful and a perfect way to end the night. We were asked if we wanted a picture and they literally brought out a picture light to ensure it was great! 10/10 experience - we will be back!

Incredible place to go for lunch or dinner. The food was PHENOMENAL - and the atmosphere and vibe is so cozy and warm, it’s the kind of place you want to hangout for a while. The staff are incredibly friendly and kind, and they actually care about you and want to make sure you have everything you need. The chef personally made us a dessert on the house and it was delicious. I won’t go anywhere else for Thai - this is the spot and I felt so loved and taken care of here. GREAT food and GREAT service.

I ordered the beef pad Thai and it’s the best I’ve had in a while. The flavor in the noodles was savory with prefect texture. Def recommend to eat. Also I loved the Thai ice tea too because it wasn’t too sweet and I enjoyed the tea mixture. The sticky mango rice was also really good as well. I’ll definitely come back.

This establishment rears an abundant menu featuring Thai classics as well as new fusion flavors. We ordered the Pad See Ew and the Salt & Pepper fried rice to share for the table. Each dish was exceptionally flavorful and tastefully plated. Our water glasses were never empty. The ambiance incredible. The restroom is very clean and the soap smells amazing. Each song that played in this warmly lit space reminded us that it was the 10 year anniversary of 2014. A truly transformative experience, I can’t wait to come back. Why are you not running here???

Super delicious and authentic! Bison kra pow is a must order. It tastes just like the one’s I’ve had in Thailand and the bison is surprisingly juicy and tender. Another standout was the crispy pork khao soi. Portions are generous and everything we had was delicious.

Honestly came in having low expectations and wanting a quick meal, but everything turned out way better than expected.

This is such a hidden gem! We are so glad we found The Am-Thai. The food was perfect and service was fast despite a packed restaurant! We had the Chicken Satay, BBQ Pork, and Crab Rangoon for appetizers. My husband typically doesn’t enjoy Crab Rangoon and he said he would come back for these! For our main courses, we did the Panang Curry made spicy and Basil Fried Rice with Crispy Pork. Once again, the flavors were exceptional.

For drinks, we enjoyed a lychee martini, yuzu margarita, and Thai iced tea. They don’t have a full bar but these drinks were top notch!

We closed out dinner with Mango Sticky Rice which is my absolute favorite. This one did NOT disappoint and was amazing!

One thing to keep in mind is you will need reservations as the inside is tiny, seating about 30 max. Overall, nothing but good things to say - we will definitely be back!

There was a really pleasant coconut fragrance as soon as we walked in, so we also ordered their mango sticky rice and enjoyed it.
