Thai Cuisine
Thaitastic at Ashbrook Commons Plaza knocked it out of the park for our birthday's meal today! YUM! This little 'hole in the wall' restaurant down an alley at Ashbrook Commons sure packs a lot of flavor and clean ingredients in each of the dishes we tried today. We ordered: Tom Yum Soup, Pad Woon Sen Chicken, Pad Thai Chicken, Red Curry with Tofu, Coconut Ice Cream, Mango with Sticky Rice, Fried Banana with Coconut Ice Cream. Lychee Tea. Everyone at the table was impressed with every dish we ordered! Each plate serving was a good size portion, was served hot, clean and fresh ingredients, they were all very, very tasty! The atmosphere was cozy (it's not a very big restaurant and can fill up quickly). Our server was attentive. We consider this to be a great find and will be returning soon! YUMMY!
First time here. We ordered Soft Crab diah and a Seafood In Wonderland. Soft Crab was excellent, so crispy but juicy. The Sweet Chili sauce that comes with it was so tasty. A little bit of sweetness but a bit of spiciness. We really enjoyed it. The Seafood dish was good but wish they added a bit more if seafood. Great taste!
I read some of the reviews and decided to give this place a try. The food was very mid. We ordered Fried Calamari, Tom Yum Soup, Crispy Duck, Pad Thai, Red Curry, and the Drunken Noodles. Other than the Calamari and Curry everything had a pound of “sweet and sour sauce” from Panda Express. The Pad Thai was sooooo sweet, I took one bite and my blood sugar went overboard. The Tom Yum Soup was very weird and unique. It had a weird taste, that wasn’t very good. The Curry and Calamari were the only two things that actually tasted decent. The place also had only enough room for about 30 customers. Overall, if you love sugar, you’re in for a treat! (But if you ‘like’ sugar, you should skip)
Thaitastic is by far the best Thai restaurant in Northern Virginia. We've been there several times and the food and service is consistently excellent.
The staff is very attentive, but unobtrusive. The ingredients are fresh and every dish we've had is best in class. Everyone we've taken there agrees.
The restaurant is cozy, meaning, there are few tables. Expect a wait on weekends. We tend to go late afternoon and have never had to wait. When we've gone prime time, we've had to wait 1+ hours. But, it's well worth the wait.
There are so many good dishes, it's hard to single one out. My go-to Thai is Drunken Noodles and they're among the best I've had anywhere -- not just Northern Virginia.
Kaosoi Gai is fantastic as is the Coconut Paradise (served in a coconut) and Crying Tiger. Everything is top notch there.
Give Thaitastic a try. You won't be disappointed!
We come here with our three kids and everyone stuffs themselves silly and is happily full. Great portions, fast, fresh, and a good value. Staff are friendly and will remember us even though we might come in once every few months. Highly recommend, best Thai food in the area!
The Lava Chicken was delicious! It was a ton of food for the price, so you can have leftovers for tomorrow! The curry puffs with the cucumber relish were to die for as well! My wife ordered the crispy pork belly and she devoured it, quite unlike her, so it must be delicious as well.
Had a fantastic experience this evening! Our service was exceptional— even brought the kids food out as soon as it was ready before the rest of the plates. Kids ate their pineapple fried rice right up! My green curry was delicious — just right amount of protein to veggie ratio. And favor was delicious.
Just excellent!

Pat gave us an absolute GREAT experience!!
I was sucked in by the high ratings, but was disappointed on multiple fronts. While hole-in-the-walls can be fun, this one was just uncomfortable. There was a pronounced unpleasant odor. Finally, the food was quite uninspiring. 🙁
Really cozy, small spot off the corner of the complex but what a hidden gem. The owners are very kind and make sure to consistently check up on you and provide good recommendations based off your preferences. Went in for the first time and had a wonderful time. Their Thai basil chicken was to die for and the quantity and quality were both top of the line. Will be coming back for sure!!
I will come back! Everything is authentic.
Small place, but that's often the kind of place where you find the best-tasting food
This has to be our favorite Thai restaurant in Loudoun County! The restaurant is very cozy and the staff is wonderful. The food is fresh and very tasty.
As a special treat....you must try their coconut ice-cream. I am not a coconut fan but this ice-cream is outstanding.

Great food and the service was very good
Food was great. I had a lunch special which had portions of two different dishes and a spring roll. It's a small space with about 8 2-top tables, but they had lots of folks also coming in for to-go orders while I was there. It's located behind the Jersey Mikes and is a little difficult to see from the parking lot.
Wow! Such great food. Come at 1pm if you can to avoid lunch crowd. Great local place!! The sweet chili basil Thai duck. Outstanding!!
10/21/2024 update - food just as good as always. Made this a regular weekly place.
1/10/2024 update. Still just as delicious!
Great foods, Great service . Highly recommend 🤩🤩

Our first visit was after dinner and the food was amazing. The fried rice is absolutely delicious and the curries are also equally scrumptious! It's a very small place, tucked away in the back of the shopping center. I gave 1 less start bc the food wasn't as delicious when we went during the day.
Kao soi was really good! They were kind enough to portion it into 2 plates 🤌🏻
Outstanding food with matching service. Highly recommend for legit Thai food. Great value, too!
Update: the Panang Curry is also AMAZING! I'm here every month!
A hidden gem! The BEST pad thai in the area!
Coming from a family that has visited/lived in Thailand for years, this food is legit. There are other restaurants in nova that do not compare. We got drunken noodles, pad thai, pineapple fried rice, and soft shell crab. Sauces are insanely delicious and the flavor is spot on! 10/10 would recommend. Service is also exceptional! Very friendly and nice people. Please go here!!!!!!!!
The food is the best Thai around NOVA! The owner, she is super friendly and overall a great place to eat. I love it.
can't wait to go back, everything we tried was amazing and couldn't ask for better service... do yourself a favor and eat here!
Ordered Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, & crab fried rice.
EDIT: Great customer service! Had a problem with crab fried rice and they immediately remade it and it was great. They were very kind and the food overall was awesome. Will be back.
Order Duck tonight .. never ate this duck dish .. full of fried rice crackers.. no duck meat inside . And chicken dish was too salty
Wow such great tasting cuisine. This place is tucked around the side between two buildings. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful if you're trying to find something specific on the menu. We've been back several times to dine-in and take-out; every time is has been so yummy. The place is somewhat small inside so dine-in seating is limited. Great place!
Super tasty, very reasonably priced and great vegetarian options. The cocktails were super and the staff was awesome. We'll be coming back for sure when we're in town!
Delicious Thai cuisine. Good portion sizes at a reasonable price. Nice people. Found my new lunch spot
Best tasting Thai food in Ashburn. The Pad Thai is my favorite! You need to try this place.
We come here with our three kids and everyone stuffs themselves silly and is happily full. Great portions, fast, fresh, and a good value. Staff are friendly and will remember us even though we might come in once every few months. Highly recommend, best Thai food in the area!
Another UPDATE: today I ordered the Seafood Lemongrass Soup, wow! the broth is spicy lemongrass with ginger shreds, fresh thai basil, chili pepper, green onions, mushrooms, shrimp, calamari, and scallops! Out of this world! This is not a lemongrass Tom Yum soup, but something unique. You have to try it!!! Also, ordered the Pineapple Red Curry which comes with shrimp ... It is outstanding. Once again I recommend Thaitastic!!! UPDATE: stopped by for carryout before work today. The Tom Yum soup with shrimp is outstanding, full of mushrooms and giant quality shrimp. I could eat this everyday. Tried a new appetizer today chicken with lettuce cups. Very good, flavorful chicken and crisp fresh lettuce. The papaya salad was wonderful as always. I highly recommend all three dishes! Wonderful restaurant, with flavorful food and outstanding customer service!! Highly recommend Thaitastic! cause they are fantastic! Thank you for your hospitality.
We ate here this evening. I love Thai food and know I can always find decent Thai most anywhere these days.
This is not your typical Thai restaurant. Sure, they have all the familiar recipes, but there are a few others I'd never heard of or seen before.
I ordered a Thai tea which was sweet as expected, but not too sweet. Delicious.
I ordered chicken satay and it was very satisfying! The peanut sauce, served on the side with a spoon for ladling, was yummy and they also included the cucumber salad oil that sets excellent satay apart from most, ordinary Thai restaurant appetizers. The cucumber salad oil perks up the flavor with a light note that blends wonderfully with the peanut sauce and chicken flavors.
I was struggling to decide between several familiar dishes, Panang curry, woonsen, and ginger stir fry when I read the description of Crying Tiger, a beef strip dish served with steamed vegetables on the side, sticky rice in foil, and a unique chili oil marinade with scallions and onion among other spices. I really wanted something delicious and I'm glad I went out on a limb and ordered the Crying Tiger. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender with a bit of char on the outside. The spicy marinade is tangy, with a vinegary flavor along with its hot spice. It was delightfully spicy without distracting from the flavor of the meat and the rest of the marinade. The vegetables and rice were delicious and well cooked.
I had been intrigued by the crispy basil stir fry but, having been disappointed so many times by "crispy" entrees at other restaurants had disregarded choosing this dish. A co-worker ordered it and, even before I'd had any of my own meal, was floored by how perfectly they cooked the chicken to a crispy exterior with a tender interior. It was wonderful and I will order it next time.
Lastly, I had intended on ordering a to-go meal I could reheat at my hotel, but decided against it BECAUSE the food was so extraordinary. None of the dishes I would have considered are easy to reheat to their previous consistency.
The servers were friendly and very competent. They took great care of us and the food they prepared for us. Many thanks to them.
The past week it's rained most everyday. Tonight was a lovely, dry evening and we dined on the patio seating outside. It was incredibly relaxing.
My dish was one of the most expensive non-specialty ones on the menu. Still, it and every other dish seem to be inexpensive for food of this quality with full service.
In short, Thaitastic is One of the best Thai restaurants I've ever eaten at. I feel lucky to have several more weeks in which to enjoy their food and I will be back as much as possible! Highly recommend!
The food was flavorful and delicious! The service was also outstanding—friendly and attentive. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food and a welcoming atmosphere!
Food was excellent, pineapple fried rice was tasty! Make sure you save room for the mango sticky rice. The server was so friendly and responsive!
Delicious! The Pad Thai and Panang Curry were very tasty
This place has great Thai food! Been ordering from here 2-3 times a month for the past several months... The food is consistently fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced (compared to other Thai restaurants in a 2-3 mile radius).
I've tried a number of their dishes, but the Crispy Basil Chicken, Papaya Salad, and Ginger Chicken have been my "go to" dishes. You get a lot of chicken with the Crispy Basil Chicken order! The papaya salad is a good portion with the right amount of spice and lime. Recently their medium spicy level is legit medium spicy now. It use to be pretty tame, but they must be using real deal peppers now!
I've also tried their pho style soup, Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Green/Red/Panang curries, chicken sate, fried rice...everything is good. And if you want to sample a couple of these, get their lunch special. It's M-F until 4 pm...you get to choose from 4-5 combos of their popular dishes (fried rice/green curry, Pad Thai/chicken ka-pow, drunken noodle/red curry, etc...) for only $14.
Definitely worth a try!
Great thai place, kind of hidden behind the Jersey Mikes. Small and cozy, we came in an hour before closing and were greeted with a smile. Service was great, host was super friendly. Child friendly - we had our 10 month old daughter with us. Food came out extremely quick. We ordered the Coconut Paradise and Pork Pad Thai. Both were excellent, the coconut paradise had so much seafood in it and portions were generous. We haven’t had thai food that good since we were in Thailand! We also added some steamed vegetables to our order and it was brought to the table in minutes.
Wish we had a place like this back in Hampton!! We will definitely be back someday. Thank you
The Lava Chicken was delicious! It was a ton of food for the price, so you can have leftovers for tomorrow! The curry puffs with the cucumber relish were to die for as well! My wife ordered the crispy pork belly and she devoured it, quite unlike her, so it must be delicious as well.
This was a last second stop. I got the crispy basil chicken (spicy), drunken noodles with beef, and panang chicken curry (spicy) as takeout and this exceeded my expectations. Each dish is truly a 10/10 would recommend. They were quick and fresh with it. I don’t usually write reviews but I had to stop eating my meal to write this. I’ve been to Thailand before and this the by far the closest in flavor. Thats all I gotta say, wow.
I had high hopes after seeing all the great reviews, but I’m really disappointed and questioning how this place received such praise. I hope today was just an off day, but I definitely wasted my money. Based on my carryout experience, I cannot recommend it.
We ordered the
-Chicken Pad Thai, which was the worst version of this common dish I’ve ever had. The chicken was extremely dry, and the noodles were soaked in a OVER vinegary sauce.
-Crying Tiger had no flavor, and I’ve had better sauce elsewhere. -Kanom Jeeb was so dry that the stuffing fell apart, and the wonton broke.
Shrimp in a Blanket was overcooked and rubbery.
I couldn’t overlook these issues. Save your money or consider dining in for a potentially better experience. This place doesn’t do Thai food any justice.
Good overall experience. Amazing Thai tea and tofu Kaosoi. Good/Average tofu drunken noodles. Setback - Crispy tofu appetizer was just fried tofu without any taste.
Place was small and cozy. Average ambiance for lunch time, but it might be nice for dinner.
Update: dinner update, really good kaosoi with rice noodles. Thai tea is pretty good too.
Yummy good thai food with excellent friendly service!
Food and service were both very good!!
Best pad tai I have ever eaten.
Love the taste of food, definitely give it a try!!
Amazing flavourful food. Great menu.
The best Thai food I've ever had. I can't wait to go again and again and again. 😊
Their Curry puffs are flaky and flavor filled. The cellophane noodles with tofu have perfect taste and mouth feel. The chicken satay was juicy and flavorful.
The food is tasty, the service is good.
The downside is that the venue is very small and your table is very close to the next one.
But definitely a good experience over all
Chicken yellow curry was phenomenal
Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. Always fresh and easily one of my favorite spots. Great staff and prices. My mom and I go here every time we have an INOVA appointment and we love it.
With so many Thai restaurants close by we decided to give this place a try for the 1st time. We are usually skeptical when we order Thai food as the portions can be on the small side for dinner. Food was ready for pick-up in less than 30 minutes. We ordered the drunk noodles, green and red curry, crab wonton and calamari. The entree portions were a decent size and was pretty good. The crab wonton can use a bit more filling and for $9 the calamari was only 10 small pieces, which is the reason for the missing 🌟
Picked up food here. One of the best Thai restaurants in North Virginia. I had the pad thai which had that delicious tamarind and fish sauce flavor and was not sweet. They also give you pepper if you ask. Yum!
Our family can’t get enough of this restaurant! We’ve tried just about everything on the menu, and have not been disappointed in anything. The owner and staff are so welcoming and friendly.
This hole in the wall is amazing! Great service, amazing food! This place is now a favorite.
Incredible place, I didn’t want to leave a review in case it would make this place too crowded!
Best Thai food in the area by far. Excellent food and incredible service. Highly recommended!!
Stellar service. They boxed our food and gifted us ice cream desert for our table. They’re a small business that deserves a lot of love.
The food, phenomenal. The service was so welcoming and attentive. There was construction outside which was loud but it isn’t the restaurants fault. Overall a wonderful experience my whole family would recommend!
Very tasty! 😋
Had dinner with my family at this place. Ordered Thai Basil fried rice, Thaitastic fried rice, Drunken noodles. All food items were delicious with good portion size. This is one of the very few restaurants with a large vegetarian menu and everything tasted great.
Although the seating space is quite limited, staff were really accommodating with our baby. Highly recommend this place. Recommend checking their seating availability in advance if you are planning for dine in.
This is a hidden gem. I hate even posting about this place, because it is very small, and now is always crowded. The food is absolutely the very best Thai food I have ever had anywhere, hands down. Awesome super nice and attentive staff. The reason for the 4 star on Atmosphere is to urge them to expand so we can all come and enjoy this amazing place
Decent place, tried thai food for the first time with kids, food was served timely, appetizers were good, fried coconut ice cream was our fav
Finally a place that serves delicious pad woon sen!
Pad See Ew was okay. Decent sized portions though
Ohhhhhh my goodness. Found this place on a whim as I was passing through. I have no convinced myself I may need to move within walking distance of this location. The flavors this place uses will set your heart on fire. The service might as well by a 5 star restaurant. Absolutely will come back here when I can!
Delivery was extremely fast and the food is absolutely fantastic. The driver knocked and rang the bell (lots of stairs). Will definitely be ordering again and going to the restaurant to have it in person.
The best Thai food I have had in nova area. Also owner and waiters and very nice!
This place is the real deal — best Thai food I’ve had in the U.S. in 20 years. Such a homemade flavor. The owner and staff couldn’t be nicer. I try to prepare or buy a meal for the nearby fire station and other first responders at least once a month. ThaiTastic is now the favorite of the men and women at the local fire station.
Family oriented environment and great food. Will definitely return.
Small restaurant but busy during lunch hours so services is slow. Overall, food is good. The crispy duck is battered with too much flour for our taste. Wished no batter at all would taste better. Green curry chicken is tasty, flavorful, white rice is a bit soggy . Will try other dishes in the future.
The food was ok but a little bit salty. Service was good. Small restaurant mostly for take out
Very perfect balance of flavors.. their pineapple fried rice and thai basil pork belly are awesome.. extraordinary
I travel the US for work and have eaten Thai from coast to coast. This is by far the best I have ever had and will return every time I am in town!
Some of the best Thai food I’ve had in nova. The service was friendly and the food was amazing!
Service was fantastic and the food was amazing!
Definitely will be coming back, the other reviews aren't lying.
Very good restaurants, paat he is great guy working over there, very delicious food.
I used to live in Bangkok, Thailand as a kid for 8 years. I’ve been in the states for a long while now and have had very good Thai food at some different places but this place EASILY is the best I’ve had since being stateside. Each bite brought me such strong emotions and memories tied to my childhood! The whole staff was so kind and treated our group with true Thai hospitality. If you’re looking for authentic Thai food - look no further!
Pad beef and broccoli was delicious
Good touch of spice
Everything was great, from the food to the value for money to the portion size to the gracious host!
We are a military family and have been living in Ashburn nearly 3 years now and I can’t believe I am just now finding this place! I have tried lots of other Thai restaurants and been sorely disappointed. Thaitastic is the exception! This is the best thai food I have had in years. Amazing food, wonderful service- I can’t wait to go back!
Staff is great, food is authentic and delicious.
Really great service and most importantly the food is amazing!! This is now my go-to for Thai food
Food is good BUT our Only complaint: the Asian waitress lady with pale skin and lots of heavy eye make-up was very rude!!! she seemed mad at us even though we just ordered and got on our seats. She did not smile at all and all she did was rush us! The food was great but the service needs to be more professional! You will loose business from servers who has bad attitude. The other server wearing black is nice though..
Attentive prompt service, a separate vegan/vegetarian menu, tasty food, generous portions.
Amazing food! Small place but I guess who cares if food is amazing and customer service is top notch! Great experience, thank you!
Food is amazing
Good selection of Vegetarian Food. Taste was good.
Some of the best Thai food we've had in the area, I am vegan and gluten intolerant and they had tons of options. The service was perfect and speedy and they topped it off with delicious coconut ice cream!
Delicious Thai food!!! My boyfriend and I loved it!!!
This is a gem, it's kind of hidden back Ashbrook Commons Plaza in Ashburn. This is the best Thai restaurant in Ashburn, I go to Thailand every year and I know if the food is good or not. I had a lot of foods on their menus but my favorite is their Chicken Satay, Papaya Salad, Crispy Duck, Kaosoi Gai & Chicken Larb. The service is Awesome, it's like coming to see your family.
Small restaurant- good food
Great service, delicious food and great price.
Very attentive server! We received delicious food at a good price with great portions!
Good was delicious and the service was excellent in this little restaurant.
The food itself was pretty (meh). The best thing we ate was the kanom jeeb as appetizer. I would avoid the wings at all cost. Undercooked and smells of raw chicken with lots of coating. The coating itself was delicious though. The crispy duck was more crisp than duck. I was expecting actual fried duck without the coating, that should have been made more clear.
They were pretty quick at seating, and checking in, that was the highlight of the service. At the end of the night, I had to duck my (take-home) duck.
Read reviews and ordered a bunch of food for Christmas. All the fried rice had egg shells… big ones too. Nobody could eat their rice… The pho had no taste.. meat was bland with no vegetables…I wondered what the great reviews were all about.
My overall experience was 0/5
I dined here in October 2023, and I still think about the fried rice. The chicken fried rice (medium spicy) was so good and flavorful. Service was fast and the waitress was nice. Our waters were constantly refilled. I'm not in the area often, but I'll definitely return here whenever I can.
Ordered for the first time. And had a lot of expectations from the reviews. But sadly, we did not enjoy the flavor at all. Ordered a red shrimp curry (thai hot) and thai basil fried rice. The shrimp was not cleant well, spice was nowhere close to what we ordered. We have tried Thai food in a lot of places so far and definitely this did not count close to any of the best. Disappointed :(
Loved the place. Cozy restaurant with, an inviting vibe and good food. Try green curry.
Great experience. The staff was very friendly and answered all questions about dishes on the menue, we didn't know about. The food was great.
We've been very happy with this place since our first order. The team was very accommodating to my request to prepare dishes without sugar and sweetened sauces due to existing health issues. Even after these modifications, the food is still delicious. We order pretty regularly and the staff is always very friendly.
We have not eaten in yet, but I have noticed their cozy dining area is often full.
Cozy little spot tucked away, but a hidden gem. The food was wonderful, the staff charming, and the value unbeatable.
I've been to this shopping center hundreds of times, and it is my deepest regret that only now have i been able to eat here.
Come here quick and fast before the limited seating fills!!
Service was good but food felt like it was lacking flavor. There was no spice in the dishes at all, which is unexpected for Thai food.
A small and cozy Thai food restaurant in Ashburm where the flavor is the star, highly recommended. It's nice to go to a restaurant where you can ask for advice on what to eat and they won't let you down in your choice. Highly recommended, good service, adequate prices, I will definitely return once again.
Longing for a good Thai place since the Thai “gas station” in Leesburg changed hands and went downhill. FOUND IT A THAITASTIC!!! Food is so so so good. Service is excellent. Tiny - only about 8 tables but brisk carry out. Been here twice in a couple weeks. Owner is so friendly.
We order from here at least once a week it is seriously that good. We have had a range of dishes and loved all of them. We seem to always come back to the Tom Kha Soup, Pad See Ew, Fried Rice, Panang Curry and Bangkok Wings. You will not be disappointed by the quality and quantity of food you get here.
Ordered online for carry out. Got massaman curry and it was very good. Would get again as it’s on the way home from work and near my gym!
The best Thai food in Loudoun county and one of the best in DMV. All the dishes I have tried are so tasty and flavorful! My family loves the restaurant so much!
And the owner and waiter/waitress there provide the best service. They know your name, know what food you ordered in your last visit and randomly give us unexpected free food such as ice cream for kids or appetizer!
You guys 🥹 it was so good! Sorry I ate everything and forgot to take pics 🤤 Been looking for great Thai, finally! Had Druken Noodles with Panang Curry 🙌 husband had Fried Rice and Green curry. I can’t believe food can be that good. The food was well balanced in flavor, big portions, so rich. Thank you!!
If you are seeking delicious Thai food at affordable prices, look no further! The high rating on Google is well-deserved. We have dined at a number of Thai restaurants in the area, but Thaitastic will be our go-to from now on. We ordered food for pickup and it was ready quickly. We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back! The dining area is small but a number of tables were available when we popped in at about 6:00 pm on a Wednesday evening.
Good food and great service
Small cozy little restaurant. The crispy duck was awesome! Even my girl who can’t take much spicy food couldn’t help eating it. Her kids meal tray was also attractive and yummy. Drunken noodles was a bit disappointing compared to the ones I had at many other places. Wish there were more veges.
Simply the best! Love this place, food is delicious. Drop in for a drink, it’s got a neat little bar.
The owner was really nice and the food was great with decent portion size.
Ordered takeout: Green Curry w/ Chicken, Kaosoi Gai Egg Noodles, Chicken Satay and Potstickers.
Overall the food was mediocre. Green Curry and the Noodles dish was very sweet (we ordered medium spicy). The chicken in the Kaosoi Gai was undercooked and had the raw chicken smell/taste. The chicken in the green curry and the satay was hard, rubbery and difficult to swallow. The Potstickers tasted OK but were really tiny 5 pieces for the price. Will not recommend this place.
Excellent food, excellent service!!
They were so kind that they barely heard birthday word and they got us a coconut ice cream on top of a chocolate brownie!!
Loved it!! Great experience!
Vegetarian entrees not marked clearly - soup had fish sauce in it but the menu had only Coconut milk in it
Absolutely phenomenal. Lovely staff and service. Had Larb, Tom yum soup, red curry duck and drunken noodles. Everything was fantastic and the Tom Yum was quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. Thank you so much!
I work in the shopping center, and the staff is always so nice when I come to order takeout or dine-in, even offering me Thai Tea (my favorite) on the house a couple times. Out of all the Thai restaurants I’ve eaten in the area, this is always my go to. Great prices, great food, and amazing staff.
Great dishes, great service, definitely makes the list!
This is my favorite place to eat here in VA.
I've had a lot of contact with authentic Thai Cuisine when I was living in Dubai, and my Thai friends always cooked for out group. This place makes me feel the same from when I was with them.
Just like homemade food makes you feel.
The food is delicious, the people working here are adorable and I love this place, me and my husband always try to make it once a couple weeks at least when we want great food!
ThaiTastic is truly amazing each time we eat there! The food is so tasty and delicious! I eat Gluten Free and they have several options for me to choose from as well. Staff is courteous and let's us enjoy each meal and chatter for a while after. Small but mighty yummy place!
Yummy food!
We have been eyeing this place for a little while and finally was able to stop by today with the kids.
This restaurant is located between Jersey Mikes and Sweet Frog. The restaurant is a bit small and doesn’t seat many but fortunately, we were able to get a table.
The service was great! Very friendly staff. The prices were reasonable.
We started off with the calamari and crab rangoon. Shared a panang curry and crispy duck. The calamari was phenomenal! The crab rangoon was meh. As for the two entrees, they were delicious. Fortunately, they had a kids menu. We ordered the chicken and noodles and added broccoli.
Overall, I would highly recommend this place. Go check them out!
Great food and the nicest staff providing wonderful service!
Cozy place with great Thai food. Good variety & service.
There is a reason this restaurant is so highly rated. The food is just incredible. The staff is wonderful and kind. I am really going to miss this place when I move.
This place is a so delicious! A hidden gem, tucked away in a shopping center. I don’t live in this area but visit my son here often and will be returning every time I’m in the area, guaranteed!
This is my family’s absolute favorite restaurant, and also mine. The food, service, and atmosphere is second to none. I rarely leave reviews, but for Thaitastic I have to. We try to go on a weekly basis. Best and most freshest Thai food in VA!
I have only had the Chicken Larb and it is the best I have had in Northern VA. I love it here.
Got the chicken fried rice with green curry for lunch special. Had a Thai ice tea with it. Everything was so good and reasonably priced. It was an authentic Thai experience. Server named Ping was excellent.
The rice noodles was overcooked. I got a takeout. Might ve the reason. The flavor was very good. Just didn't like the mushy rice noodles.
Our favorite Thai in the area!! The food is so fresh and always on point. The owners are wonderful, friendly and accommodating. We get carryout from here weekly and are always pleased.
Tried it out because of previous reviews. I went with 3 people. We had 4 appetizers and 4 different meals and every single thing we ate was incredible. Service was even better as they brought extra rice and even an extra scoop of ice cream when we asked. Our server was friendly and open to answering all 1000 questions we had about the place and menu. Couldn’t recommend more
A little hard to find, around the corner from Jersey Mike's. Takes a little effort to find especially with the plaza construction, but well worth it.
The food is excellent, but the outstanding aspect is the service. We had the same server on both trips four weeks apart, and he somehow remembered the drink and food order for everyone in my group. He must be some kind of savant. That level of service really elevates this place from a good strip mall joint to a great restaurant.
Some of the best Thai I've had and super kind staff! Prices are good as well, especially for the amount of food you get! Try them out.
Try it. Food is great.
The food was delicious amd cheerful service. Chicken satay, crab dumpling amd Gai sapp Krapow was yum.
Loved the food
I could list every delicious meal that I have eaten here in my 7 visits, but it's all good. That Crispy Duck Basil is my favorite. Go during lunch and get the special combo so you can try 2 of their dishes at once. That's the blueprint for any restaurant to go through a menu faster. You find out what you love, so you come back for dinner to get that full course dish.
This place is hidden behind the Jersey Mike's, and you can barely notice it from your car. It's worth finding though.
Fresh and packed with flavor! I ordered Pad Eggplant with chicken and Pad Thai with chicken. Both were very good, the delivery was made super fast, and the driver was very nice.
Small Thai restaurant with excellent food. Staff very friendly and welcoming. It was our first visit and we look forward to going back or ordering take out.
I was very curious as I came across the very high rating on the Google map and gave it try. Overall it turned out to be pleasant surprise. Pad Thai and fried rice were very good. Thaitastic fried rice was fluffy and light just how I like fried rice. 👍
Crisp duck with chili basil was good but it was a bit soggy and whole flounder turned out to be dry. I tried chili garlic but I wish I went for the chili basil sauce. One mistake I made was to order some dishes less spicy. I felt all came out to be mild. The sticky rice with mango was a bit disappointing; I didn’t enjoy overcooked rice texture.
The dining area is small but offer outdoor seating too. The prices are on reasonable side making a good value.
Really cute, small place. We had the Thai tea, rolling duck, wonton soup, whole fried flounder, and gai sapp krapow and it was all delicious! Will definitely come back to try more things.
Highly recommend. Best Thai restaurant we've been to in Loudoun. Great food, great service. Generous portions for a very reasonable price.
Was looking for some good Thai food for some time. A very nice place, we ordered drunken noodles, pad Thai, volcano shrimp, papaya salad all were good. Took some time to locate as it is little inside from the main driveway. I love to go back there.
The flavours are very authentic. In all my time in the US, i had yet to find fried rice that was actually good, until i came here. This was the first time i was actually happy with my fried rice. The crab meat fried rice was my favourite but unfortunately i forgot to take pic of it. It was so good i just kept eating, i only remembered to take a picture halfway into the pineapple fried rice lol. The pineapple fried rice and their curry was great too. Definitely impressed me out of all the restaurants I've been to in the US.
Can you have the best Thai food in Northern Virginia at a random shopping center in Ashburn? Apparently yes.
Just had the best ka pow with rice along with chicken satay and spring rolls in northern Virginia. Ping-the owner-is super kind and accommodating giving you the best experience in all areas of Thai culture and food. I can’t wait for seconds and thirds and fourths there!!
Great food, great service. I have a new go to place when I do not feel like cooking. They have some items you will not find on the menu at most Thai restaurants.
Wonderful little restaurant with exceptional customer service. Staff was friendly. Food was excellent! Large portions and decent prices. They gave me free coconut ice cream for Mother’s Day.
