The lychee shrimp was so crispy and delicious - the sauce is not too heavy and just perfect! It’s slightly sweet and not overpowering, you can still taste the freshness of the shrimp.

The grilled chicken was so juicy and paired so well with the sauce. The sauce was sweet and slightly tangy, complimenting the chicken so nicely.

The pineapple fried rice was also so delicious! It just kept me coming back for more - even though I was super full. It’s flavorful - but not overpoweringly so! You can definitely taste the sweetness of the pineapple in the fried rice.

The cocktails were so refreshing! We came on a hot day and these drinks were exactly what we needed to cool off.

I thought the mango sticky rice was the star of the show - this was one of the best mango sticky rices that I have had. It came with a vanilla-y mango-y ice cream that complimented your traditional mango sticky rice really well! The coconut sauce was also very flavorful but not overpowering.

Overall highly recommend to give Lemongrass a try. The ambiance, service, presentation and flavors were exceptional!

Our group had a mostly enjoyable experience here. The duck curry was rich and flavorful, one of the standout dishes of the evening. The deep-fried salmon was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the cocktails were well-crafted and refreshing. The pineapple fried rice could have used a stronger pineapple flavor, but it was still tasty. However, the service was a bit lacking in attentiveness, with some delays throughout the meal. Despite this, the food and atmosphere were great, and we’d still come back to try more dishes!

While the place is cute and the food may be slightly above average, please consider going here on a non busy week day for your best experience. Excited to try a new restaurant, my boyfriend and I had made reservations to Lemongrass for 7:15 on a Saturday night. We show up around 7 hoping to be seated a little earlier but not minding a little wait. We show up to a PACKED tiny restaurant with their own personal security guard. It was a mess. The only place to wait for your table is the tiniest little doorway, where mind you 5 other parties with reservations are also waiting. All the while multiple waiters are trying to get outside to the measly outdoor area AND while the weird security guard is patrolling patrons and door dashers. Ultimately, my boyfriend and I finally get our table after being pushed around at the doorway for about 15 minutes. After declining to sit in the “outdoor” area, the hostess brings us to a table that is VERY clearly not supposed to be there and forced to fit in the walking path to the back of the restaurant to squeeze in more customers. The entirety of dinner I felt like I was on an airplane aisle seat - constantly trying to make sure my head, arm, or foot isn’t sticking out so it’s not hit by constant traffic walking by. It was the most overstimulating dinner of my life that was perfectly topped off by one of the waiters walking right by/on top of our table dropping a dirty fork on me from the dishes he was holding. I don’t think it’s fair to have this kind of dining experience given that I booked a reservation like everyone else. Seems like they just overbook and can barely handle all the business. Food and service not worth it to potentially go through this ordeal again. Save yourself from this potential situation and go when it’s not busy - even doing all the right things like making a reservation a week in advance won’t save you.

I am not joking when I say the food here is AMAZING!! Truly some of the best I have had since moving to New York! I was not the biggest fan of Thai food before trying Lemongrass Grill, but oh my goodness did they exceed expectations. The atmosphere is so fun and the staff is so sweet!

This restaurant is GORGEOUS! It is so visually appealing especially the food! I had the Chicken Satay and Crispy Wontons it was so delicious, I really loved their peanut sauce that went with the Chicken Satay. The drinks are so stunning, I love all the details, the Watermelon Margarita and Coconut Mojito are a must try!

Our dinner was amazing the Brooklyn Steak came out sizzling hot and so full of flavor! I also had the Mango Shrimp which was the best Shrimp I've ever had and I'm a huge shrimp liver so that's huge and it was just that! The shrimp were HUGE! The mango pairs so perfectly with it! For dessert I couldn't resist trying the Fried Cheesecake I won't say anything about it you have to try it for yourself!

The calamari was delicious and the sauces were great. Big pieces and portion. The watermelon margarita was so refreshing. The coconut mojito was strong. I loved the presentation and the adornment of fresh fruits and flower. The duck salad was to die for with the super tender meat and spicy citrus dressing The noodles could’ve been spicier, but it came with ample about of chicken and jumbo shrimp. The whole snapper stole the show it must have at least weighed 3 pound and I like they sliced some pieces for you. It was nice and flaky and juicy. The tamarind sauce was so good. It got packed quickly so I recommend to make reservations. We definitely had a lot of leftovers as well. Thank you Art for making the drinks and Christina our waitress. I went last Thursday for brunch. I was looking forward to seeing the new decor, since I hadn't been there in awhile. It was vibrant, lush and festive! I ordered the BBQ Short Ribs Lunch Special. This came with a Crispy Spring Roll, Salad and Rice. My drink of choice was Lemon Thai Iced Tea. The service was excellent and I enjoyed the midday options.

Service was sub par. Wait staff needs to be changed. Also charges a 20% automatic included tip with bill which should be <10% ( still being generous) for the minimal service provided with attitude from workers.

Never disappointed with good vibe. The food is excellent, and the servers are always so sweet. I recommend it for dates, friend gatherings, and any occasion!

Had a good experience for an early dinner with a friend. We were late for our reservation but they accommodated us. I ordered the Ocean’s 4 and asked for it less spicy (ended up not being spicy at all, will order regular next time), friend ordered pad Thai. Ocean’s 4 was good, plenty of protein but felt the panang curry lacked a bit of flavor/seasoning. Place is small, so tables were close and cramped. Staff is very attentive and very welcoming. Would be back, when in the area.

Hadn’t been to Lemongrass in years and finally made it there on Saturday. The wait was insane and they clearly made alot of changes to decor, etc. - very social media friendly ambience. Fortunately the food was as I remembered and worth the wait - best calamari anywhere! Every entree that came out looked and smelled amazing but they must be spending a fortune on herbs because there were bushels of them decorating every plate. lol. I get it, it’s pretty, but, I hope they’re at least composting it all!

This lemongrass is very pleasing to look at from the outside in. It was my first time visiting this restaurant I visited with my coworkers for a birthday dinner. When I came in I noticed the staff had everyone seated on one side of the restaurant very close to one another basically on top of each other even though they had more empty tables on the other side. My table was in the corner right when you walked in and I couldn’t sit down until the staff took orders from the table across cause there was not enough space to get around without pushing someone else. Then when the waiters brought food out to the table across from me they would bump into me because the space was so limited which I did not enjoy. When my table got our food (which was delicious—mango chicken) the service was a bit rushed when the staff started to see less food on our plates even though we weren’t finished. Overall this place looks great and the food is good too just a couple minor things.

The food at this place is really delicious, and the service is top notch. However, the seating is quite uncomfortable, which makes it hard to fully enjoy your meal. The tables are also on the smaller side, which can make it a bit cramped. If they improve the seating arrangements, this would be a much more enjoyable experience overall.

The restaurant is very nice overall. We had a reservation for 6:45pm , but only two of us arrived. They mentioned that the full party had to be present, so we waited for a table. Thankfully, they seated us quickly. The waiter was nice, and everything went smoothly. We ordered our food, and it was absolutely delicious—everything we tried was amazing. However, the staff kept coming over to check if everything was okay, which made us feel like they were rushing us to finish and leave. Despite that, the food and experience were great. LemonGrass Restaurant: Disappointing Service for Black Customers

Let me start by saying the restaurant is visually stunning, the drinks are well-crafted, and the food is enjoyable. However, my experiences with service here have been troubling and disappointing.

I've visited LemonGrass twice. The first time was over the summer when my friends and I sat outside and ordered only drinks. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, it took 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive and an additional 20 minutes for the bill. I was frustrated but chose to give the place another chance.

On my recent visit with colleagues, the experience was even worse. Upon arrival, we were not greeted and were seated toward the back after a long wait. While waiting to place our orders, two other tables seated after us were promptly attended to, leaving us confused. Once we finally placed our order, drinks and appetizers took another 15 minutes to arrive.

Throughout our time there, a male waiter frequently walked near our table, making us feel watched rather than welcomed. After finishing our drinks, we tried to get someone's attention for the bill but were ignored. When we approached the bartender to request additional drinks, we were met with hesitation, as though we weren’t trusted to settle our tab. We eventually tried to pay using Apple Pay, which was met with unnecessary rudeness from the bartender.

While the restaurant’s aesthetics are impressive, it’s painfully clear that the service here reflects a "timed tolerance" for Black patrons. The lack of attentiveness and unwarranted hostility made it apparent we were not valued as customers.

I will not be returning to LemonGrass and strongly urge others, especially people of color, to manage their expectations if they choose to visit.

it’s snowing, i’m pregnant, and didn’t want anything icy nor caffeinated, so i asked for hot water. they said they didn’t have hot water…but was able to serve us a pot of tea. pad see ew was tasty but extremely salty, with tiny squiggly bits of egg. pad kee mao came with six pieces of dry pork. best part of the meal was the mango coconut rice, and even then the mango was super tart.

Came here for a girls dinner and omggggg it was soooo good. The servers were so nice, the restaurant nicely decorated and festive and the food was 5 star quality without the 5 star price

The panang curry was really good, and the inside was pretty, but the pad see ew wasn’t good. Also the reviews for this place are inflated because if you give them a 5 star rating, you get a free Thai iced tea or dessert

This restaurant is amazing from the drinks to the food but my last experience was upsetting due to the hostess. My mom and I were meeting my friend for dinner and the hostess let us know it would be 20 minutes for 3 people. The table was ready but my friend wasn’t there yet so she couldn’t seat us. When my friend did arrive I let her know that our whole party was here and she said another 20 minutes, ok cool. After that she kept seating people who came after my friend arrived. We asked her if we would be seated soon ( this was after we waited another 20 minutes) and she said “ yes you are next” so we waited some more while other people were sat before us…… it got to the point were other staff at the restaurant apologized and thanked us for our patience. We asked the hostess again about a table and then we saw her trying to get some people who were already sitting down to move which is crazy. Again we got some more apologies from other staff but we waited for about an hour and ended up leaving because it felt like she was playing in our faces. Again the restaurant is amazing, the ambiance and the drinks are great but that was a disappointing experience. Hopefully it will be better next time.

The appetizers better than the food. We had a large party of like 8 mind you. They didn’t put the correct liquor in my beverage after charging over 20 dollars. I had to go back to the front to ask if I got the wrong thing & they did a remake said they forgot to add in the alcohol ….. what ? Fish wasn’t crispy. The server says to me they are American Thai inspired not actual Thai because he didn’t know what came with some of the dishes. Won’t be coming back .

Great food, unique drinks, wonderful staff, and a fun atmosphere. Came with a friend for his birthday and couldn’t have chosen a better spot. The calamari chicken bao were phenomenal and the giant fruit cocktails were both delicious and eye catching. Entree portions were generous and our waitress was very attentive. Overall, 10/10 experience! Highly recommended!

Had an early dinner and despite the place getting busier throughout the course of the meal, the service remain attentive and food from start to finish was delightful!
The coconut mojito was life changing! Super refreshing! And the Bussarakam is a must for passion fruit lovers! The Thai Country Style Dumpling is a super generous portion appetizer and can easily be shared. The pineapple fried rice was also overflowing and it looked so good the neighboring table asked about it. The BBQ beef short rib looked and tasted splendidly. The vanilla ice cream that came with the lava cake was super velvety and some of the best I’ve tasted in a while. When you walk in, you know you’ve entered a neighborhood staple with solid dishes and unpretentious atmosphere. It’s cozy enough for a date night as well as vibrant enough for groups and celebrations. Whether you’re dining in or ordering for takeout, you’ll enjoy efficient service and a delicious meal!

What a bad experience I had there. They forgot our appetizer and brought it out after our entree. That isn't even the worst, they forgot my daughter's food while they brought entrees out for everyone else at the table. We mentioned it a few times before it was taken serious. 20 minutes later, they asked if we still wanted It, yes my child is hungry. Finally came out another 15 minutes later so I was not happy. I understand mistakes happen but it is about how you handle the mistakes and this place just lacks in basic emotional intelligence. I would have appreciated something like an appetizer to hold her off or taking her entree off the bill which would have been a nice gesture. When the bill finally came, they added everything along with a 20% gratuity automatically added. I inquired about it for them to tell me I have a party 4 which means it is automatically added. Mind you the 4th person they are referring to is a 6 month old baby that drinks only milk. Normally I wouldn't care but the service was bad and they knew it was which is why they added. I requested it be removed and when it escalated to me needing to speak with a manager, all of a sudden they asked how much am I tipping. That was a another back and forth because I did not need to tell them what and if I will tip. For the sake of just resolving, I agreed to give a number which was 5% which in retrospect I should not even had did because I should never be forced to pay a certain amount of tip that is unearned from horrible service. There was no incentive to give me basic decent service but they made sure to hover over me come bill paying time.

Lemongrass is an amazing place! Natasya was so sweet and kind to us. The service was quick and the food was AMAZING. And the restaurant was really pretty. I will be coming again.

We ordered Green curry fried rice and noodles . Both were very tasty and made to spice level we asked for. The mango sticky rice dessert was delicious .

I booked a table and we arrived on time, the waiter checked our reservation and left silently. we stood for 15 minutes in a crowded hall and did not understand what was happening. No one spoke to us, they ignored us and we stood like fools in the aisle, disturbing the waiters and pushing the guests. to our questions they told us “1 second” and left again. disgusting attitude both towards us and towards their employees who are forced to jostle with us.

Terrible service, we made a table reservation, arrived on time and waited 20 minutes. we were never given a table, they avoided talking to us, walked past. we went to a neighboring establishment a minute's walk away.

Beautiful presentation in the space & plating with warm service. Unfortunately, the food is not good at all. Rice is very dry & hard (sad considering Thailand is one of the best rice producers in the world). Sauteed tofu eggplant basil has absolutely no flavor despite being noted as having two chillis as the spice level. Pad thai is extremely sweet & has a funky smell to it, same with the really dry & tasteless grilled chicken breast. Fried chive dumplings were good but not enough to salvage the overall bad taste. Very disappointed given the high rating this restaurant has on google. Will not return & do not recommend.

The atmosphere of Lemongrass and customer service from my waitress was amazing . I had the Pad Thai noodles with chicken and a red Sangria, food was 10/10 I’ll be definitely coming back here on more lunch dates. I took my friend here and she loved it especially havin Thai food fr the first time!

Best pad thai in Brooklyn

My first time trying Thai food and I do not regret it one bit. The design of the restaurant itself is beautiful and has very good service. Our server Phoebe is amazing. I had the crab Rangoon as an appetizer and mango chicken as my entree. So good. No complaints.

Beautiful spot in the heart of Brooklyn! Warm and inviting ambiance with even better food! To drink we had the Gomain Mocktail Mojito and Bussarakam Mocktail. We tried their chicken satay, lychee shrimp, Noodle mao with perfectly crispy pork belly, the panang curry with chicken and the new Kanompang dessert! The drinks were 10/10 and the food was filled with so much flavor and perfectly cooked. Would definitely recommend this spot. Perfect for any occasion and the staff was very welcoming with amazing service!

lemongrass has been a staple thai spot for months now! service is great and so is the food. i got the chicken siam and it was well seasoned and chicken was tender!

The Tom Yam Soup is the night's high point, in my opinion. My only gripe is that there are only two choices: chicken or tofu. The chicken had some soft bones when it arrived, so it would be great if they also had seafood. The beef version of pad Thai is the worst; the beef is too tough to chew, but the favor is nice. The meal is good overall. This restaurant's interior design is excellent, but I believe you should schedule an appointment in advance if you want a better location for your shots.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the décor and ambience were equally amazing. The service was outstanding, with thoughtful recommendations that made our meal even more enjoyable. First of all , the server who served us was AOF was fantastic and very nice and was extremely welcoming, and the vibe was so good and nice , and the food literally makes you feel like you are in Thailand ! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the stunning floral decor. We started with the Crab Rangoon and the Curry Puff, and the flavors were spot on—crispy, savory, and so satisfying. The main courses were even better: the Pineapple Fried Rice was perfectly balanced, but the star of the night was the Whole Red Snapper in Goddess Garlic Sauce. Tender and flavorful.

I loved the Watermelon Margarita and Piña Colada served in whole fruits—fun, refreshing, and Insta-worthy. 🍉🍍

And the Mango Sticky Rice was the perfect sweet finish.
