I am so excited to have this little gem in my foodie list! Any time I'm in Bountiful, I'll visit!! The lunch menu is incredible because the rate is affordable, and the portions are generous! I had the fresh spring rolls with shrimp, green curry, and the Drunken Noodles both with chicken. The food was warm, ADEQUATE spice, aka, I love spice and they served it at my level!!
It was all fantastic, and the service was fast and friendly with all smiles! Highly recommend!! 🥰 sorry for no pics, I wolfed it all down!
Thai in Town is amazing Thai food. The quality of food and taste is so yummy! It’s my new favorite. We dined in last night for Valentine’s Day. It was very busy as expected. They were understaffed as there were only two out taking orders, bussing the tables etc. They were working so hard. We didn’t mind waiting for our food. It was absolutely worth the wait. Both the woman waitress and young man waiter gave excellent service. We were so impressed with their work ethic. Thank you for the best Thai food around. We will go back again and again.
I ordered the lunch special, Cashew Nut Stir Fry, it was delicious. I really enjoyed lunch the lunch, it was filling enough for me. The staff was very friendly, they took my number and texted me when my order was ready so that I could work while I waited. I will be going back next week to try something else.
A tiny restaurant with limited staff, affordable prices , and okayish tasting food! If you are looking for affordable Thai food, this is the restaurant.

Wow! The food here was DELICIOUS! I think the only thing I wished for was a little bigger portions since we were doing it family style and sharing. The Water Fall Steak was some of best we've ever had, AND they served it with sticky rice, which is the way it should be served. And the Pumpkin Curry was amazing as well. They use an Asian gourd that is a "pumpkin" in Thailand and the texture is so good and flavor is sweet.
The service was excellent also. Small crew, but they got it done. The atmosphere is nice as well.
Tried this restaurant when my sister was in town. We grabbed it as take out but when we went to grab it from the restaurant it looked really nice inside!! So we might have to try eating there next time. Cream Cheese wantans were cooked to perfection & a favorite! I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu. It was pretty good. It had good flavor. I thought there would be more veggies in it, but that’s okay. My sister ordered Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) with medium spice. She said the spice level was perfect & really enjoyed the meal. She said the ratio for noodles VS meat VS veggies was spot on. Her boyfriend ordered Thai fried rice. It looked really good & he said it’s one of his favorite Thai places that he’s tried in Utah. I would definitely go back! Portion sizes were good too. I had plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. Check this hidden gem out!

Went on Valentine’s evening. They were super busy in the restaurant as well as pick up orders. Despite the wait (which is worth it) we were so impressed by how hard they were trying to keep up and address everyone’s needs. There was a young staff member named Amaron who was working the front desk, managing tables, bussing etc. We were so impressed at how hard he was working and how well he managed what was obviously a very busy few hours and he didn’t have much help. We hope he’s recognized for his efforts to keep things running smoothly. Amazing food, great service. Can’t wait to return!
My new favorite Thai restaurant! Wow. Panang curry...otherworldly.
Not authentic Thai food, burnt the calamari, the thai and wonton soup were flavorless, with 2 meat balls, do not advertise wonton soup and only put potstickers in it, that's not authentic. No soy sauce or hot sauce on the table either. We paid good money to eat here around 80 dollars with a tip and we regret it.
1/14 / 2025 Once again the red curry was absolutely wonderful!
12/24/2024 Update, the red curry with chicken I had delivered was spectacular, thanks for a wonderful meal!
Love this restaurant! Have had delivered many times and always everything consistently delicious. Yellow curry and pineapple rice are my favorites. They package things very nicely for delivery too, have never had any leaks. 💛

If these guys were smarter, they would come up with a kid's menu. This is Bountiful, UT for crying out loud lol. We have FAMILES here 😁😅.
The food here has never disappointed. It has been hit and miss with having orders ready when promised. They have the best red curry in Davis County.
Ordered the masaman lunch special. It was great!
Excellent food, wonderful experience.
Best lunch deal in town.
The whole experience was amazing at Thai in Town. The atmosphere was really pleasant with soft music and a cozy vibe. The staff were super kind and the food was amazing. I overheard the table next to us also say it was delicious. Definitely recommend going here for a nice, peaceful and great tasting dinner!
Amazing quality of food. Drunken noodles were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place. The reason for 5 stars is the food was flawless, service was great, and the restaurant is clean and well kept. Everything you need for a great dining experience.
Delicious! It's so fun to finally have great Thai food in Bountiful!
Food is great. PLEASE hire more people or something and get a door alarm because I would prefer to not wait 35 minutes after I arrive for my online order. :((
Best Thai food in Utah
Great Massaman curry!
Wow! What an incredibly inconsistent place. They will absolutely take your to-go order you placed 40 minutes ago and give it to some diners that just showed up to eat. Then they come out and tell you that they just started preparing your order.
We won't be back.
Great food, but the service is slow, and the staff are not very warm or approachable. They don’t check in on their tables often enough either.
Best Thai in town. Love their garlic chicken!

Restaurant was amazing and I love how clean everything is. Food is really amazing
Loved this place!! Quite authentic, great service and the staff was very attentive and caring. Even chased me down when I left my purse there, thanks! And the mango sticky rice was 10/10, also loved the papaya salad. Definitely worth a visit
Incredible Thai food
Top-tier curry in a date-worthy environment. Sooo yummy 😋
This place is next level amazing! I love sampling Thai food and this is hands down the best I’ve had. The Massaman curry is a must.
Love the pork bbq and crab fried rice. But the server didn’t check for us in time so I need to really looking for attention to get some water.
Would not serve at 8:30Pm even though they close at 9:00pm. Do not set hours if your not going abide by them.
Excellent food, good pricing.
Great bang for your buck!
One of our favorite restaurants in Bountiful and favorite Thai restaurants in the area!
Me and my wife drove by this place and thought we'd check it out. The service was great. So was the food. We tried two different appetizers and two different dishes
They're really short-staffed, so orders do take a while. But the food is quite delicious and worth the wait.
Delicious Thai food. Everything we've had here is delicious. The people are kind and accommodating.
Delicious food and attentive service.
We love it! So delicious.
Great food and service a must if you are in the area.
We ordered take out, this Thai restaurant is delicious. We ordered the glass noodle dish with steak Pad Woon Sen, Panang Curry & fresh spring rolls. Damn! I had to run to Google reviews I enjoyed it so much. We’re picky pains when it comes to food. Absolutely LOVED IT!
I love this restaurant ❤️I love the curry dumplings so good 🤤
We love this place! The coconut soup is a family favorite. My boys and I love the curries. The lunch menu is well priced, but if you want to try the coconut soup you'll have to come for dinner. Seating is a little limited, as it should be for good food. I've never had to wait more than ten minutes though. The staff are kind and sure the correct level of attentiveness.
Best Thai place in South Davis County! They are always super friendly, have the best food and are consistent. Only complaint I have is the lobby is always chilly. Make sure to bring a jacket if you plan on dining in!
Went here for lunch. We ordered, and 20 min later our waiter came out saying the curry my husband had ordered was no longer available. He offered a replacement curry and my husband agreed. When the food came out it wasn't chicken curry at all but a big piece of salmon. My husband was disappointed but said it was fine. I was annoyed because instead of the lunch price we ended up paying for one of the more expensive things on the dinner menu. My food was pretty bland as well. The table was sticky and my ice water was in a dirty cup.
We love Thai in town and are so grateful to have a yummy yellow curry spot in bountiful! It’s always consistent and yummy. I also love the pumpkin curry! The rice is always sub par which is why it’s a 4 star. Drunken noodles are also delicious- we prefer them over pad Thai.
I loved my vegetable red curry with brown (actually purple) rice. The best I have had in a while.
My wife had chicken pineapple rice. It was not as good. I often make this dish myself. It is much better with more and fresh pineapple . Also the rice was a little mushy and she said it had an after taste she didn't care for.
I like to add some sweet thai chili sauce to mine.
But we will be back.
Good food. I have liked all th different curry varieties that I have tried.
This little unassuming restaurant is the best place to eat in Bountiful if you're looking for amazing food and flavors. I've dined in and had the take out and either way you won't be disappointed with the food, but dining in you do get slightly more food due to the limitations of the to go containers. It seems to be family run so the service can be slightly slower at times, but for the volume of customers they handle they do a great job.
Honestly, i would choose the yellow curry as my last meal on earth 💅🏻💯
Love the place 😍
Perfect. Pad sew ew, papaya salad. So good.
Ordered the beef drunken noodle to go, medium spicy, it was ok, pretty spicy, portion felt very small, nothing notable worth the praise
There’s better Thai (flavor and portion) in the valley and kaysville
Best Thai food in Davis County, by far. Highly recommend the yellow curry, but everything is delicious. And the service is excellent- the staff are super friendly and helpful. You won't be disappointed!
We went for lunch today and it was delicious. The lunch prices and portions are great. To top it off the service was amazing.
I ordered the Pineapple Curry and had them make it a spicy level 5. It was the best Curry I have had. I will definitely be eating here more often.
Solid but nothing extraordinary. No spice added.
First time in and we loved everything. Tofu satay was excellent. Loved the pumpkin curry. My daughter loved the ginger pad king. Shrimp balls were reportedly delicious. Nice calm atmosphere.
I think this is our new favorite local Thai place. The ambiance was great and the food was excellent. We want to go again!
The food is really good. We just left and it’s a Friday night. Very busy. Not enough staff on the floor to help refill waters or offer help if needed, like needing more rice. My husband ordered the Massaman Curry. It is a decent portion size, but only a small bowl that was not filled with rice. Barely one serving, but still plenty of the curry dish to eat. So, we had to ask for more plain rice. We found at the end that we were charged for the second serving of rice. That made no sense. Did they expect us to eat our dish without rice? At least, fill the bowl to the top then.
We also had to keep watching for any employee to come out from the kitchen and wave them down to get more water. Quite frustrating. Anyway, good food, but they need people to come out to the restaurant floor more than every 10 minutes.
Love this place. Best time to go is for the lunch special Monday- Friday.
Very good food. They are slightly understaffed but overall great experience
Wow! I rarely give 5 stars but this place deserves it! The lunch special is a great price! $7.99. The green curry is amazing with great flavor and delicious vegetables. The cream cheese wontons were divine (though a little pricey $8 for 6) they don't have any soup on the menu for lunch unfortunately. The environment was so beautiful and peaceful! The service was friendly and thorough. The dresh spring rolls were good but the peanut sauce wasnt as good as it could be. We will definitely be back!!
Best Thai in Utah. Order the drunken noodles and massaman curry!
Delicious Thai food. My favorites are the spring rolls and pumpkin curry. We order food for takeout often. We've also enjoyed eating there. Sometimes the service is a little slow because they have so many takeout orders. If we go for dinner a little later then we avoid that. The presentation is the pumpkin curry is top notch. My sub ordered the salmon dish from the chef's special and it was also presented in the fancy dish.
So glad to have this Thai option in Bountiful. Got the cheese wontons, pad thai and yellow curry. All were amazing. Hadn't been here before. Will be going back!
We are huge Thai food fans and were severely disappointed with this place. There were 4 of us and all of the dinners we ordered were a let down. My Pad See Ew had no vegetables in it and was so dry I could hardly swallow it. My husband's Pineapple Fried Rice tasted of turmeric and only had one pineapple. We won't be going back.
Love the taste of the coconut soup. Ginger stir fry and drunken noodle.
I've been to Thailand for months, and this place nailed the flavor!! Amazing, thank you for a great dinner!
I ordered some chicken pad thai for lunch and the food was SO SALTY. I could barely eat it. I’m not sure if the food is usually like this, but this pad thai was not good!
Pad Thai is saltier than my ex wife
Tried this restaurant when my sister was in town. We grabbed it as take out but when we went to grab it from the restaurant it looked really nice inside!! So we might have to try eating there next time. Cream Cheese wantans were cooked to perfection & a favorite! I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu. It was pretty good. It had good flavor. Great Thai spot. Check out their lunch specials for some of the best deals around.
Our food was very good. The pad prik king was fantastic, my wife got Pad Thai which I thought was good but not amazing but she enjoyed it. The staff were good but overwhelmed by the number of patrons on a busy Friday evening.
Would definitely go again.
I was shocked to witness in full view what I saw last 10 minutes before departing at 2:58 pm while still eating in the restaurant. I was the last lunch patron dining today Thursday 14th Sept 2023. A young male adult sat at the booth at the west corner glass front window, then proceeded to move and lay down on the full wall length couch type seating of two tables, picked up the pillows that were positioned at that wall and placed them over him plus he was still wearing his shoes (what difference does the shoes make you might ask? Whether dressed in the clothes he entered in and or wearing shoes, it is a restaurant and this took place in full view of a customer dining. It is NOT a bedroom. He could have behind the partitions in front of the bathroom placed a fold up cot if he wanted to sleep AFTER customers left until the restaurant opened again for evening dining. Also he was in full view of passing patrons and this is not impressive to see in a restaurant). I chuckled to myself at what I witnessed as I was seated at my table that direction to see this occur and when I was at the front register paying, I shared with the beautiful and most pleasant mature young lady, " it was not restaurant etiquette for the gentleman to lay down on the seating when a customer is still dining ". I was aware from her ' oh ' response she was not able to see him laying there under the pillows pilled up on top of him. In the future and full alert to everyone. My future purchases will be either as to go orders or not at all. This was a big turn-off relevant to restaurant etiquette and hygiene levels (as the question is now - did the seating get wiped down after he used the area, were the cushions sanitized after his use, was he near before he came to work an animal that had it's hair on his clothing to create allergies for customers and this being spread via the cushions or being next to the table cloth where he lay?) Since the restaurant opened I have been a customer of dine in and to go orders. I have enjoyed the atmosphere of past dining and the food is delicious (except sometimes the music has not been peaceful restaurant appropriate for dining). Today my evaluation has changed due to what I witnessed. Yes in the Hospitality Arena this IS a big issue).
The food here is authentic. We came in around 2:30- 3pm and was offered a lunch menu of dishes between $7.99 and $8.99. We ordered rice noodles and some other dishes. They actually used fresh rice noodles for the rice biddle dish and not those that came from soaking the dry ones. This I was pleasantly surprised as many Thai restaurants that are not in major US cities often use dried rice noodles to cook the rice noodle dishes. The dishes all taste good. The only problem is that it's too salty. I had to have a sip of water every bite I took.
Nice Thai restaurant with good food. Service was quail and the food ranged from good to great.
The best item we ordered was Bae Mee Moo (my selection). Pineapple rice was the next most liked item from our group. Pad Thai and Yellow Curry were good with my kid saying the curry was a little spicy (it was fine). Spring Rolls we decent but not my top choice.
Thai food is my absolute favorite. I used to have a neighbor from Thailand that would make the most delicious soups and curries and bring them over! I'm always up to try a new Thai food place. Tom Kha is my absolute favorite dish and this place did it so well!! The lemongrass and galangal flavor was just dreamy. This soup honestly cures my soul it's so good and the perfect comfort food when I need a pick me up. I wish I could describe the perfect flavor of it better. It just makes me tastes buds sing. Thanks Thai in Town for bringing us some delicious Thai food in little old Bountiful. I will be back to try the yellow curry, hope it's as good as others I've had!
Green curry was absolutely delicious -- the best I can remember having recently. Their spice scale is definitely nothing to be underestimated. I have a pretty good spice tolerance (for a white person) and the medium had me coughing if I swallowed it wrong.
my husband ordered the pineapple curry and I ordered veggie pad thai. the flavors were amazing. our service was top notch and the atmosphere was beautiful. I highly recommend you go here. i know we will go again. The food is delicious
If you want a super healthy and tasty lunch for only 8 dollars this is the place.
Our first impression of this little restaurant wasn't great, I think they were terribly short-staffed, so we decided to just be patient. My husband and I came for lunch today, and the whole experience was over 90 minutes. We were getting very uneasy when, after 30 minutes, someone took our order, but at the exact time as 2 large parties, and 3 parties of 2, so about 20 people all at once. The service was beyond slow, I don't know if we will come back, BUT, having said that, the food is really, really good. One reviewer complained about inauthentic decor, come on, not a reason to deduct stars. Others talked about not tipping. People, tip. Tip low if you are unhappy, but tip. It's not the waitresses fault if food is slow, or not to your liking. Our food was way better than we normally get, but I've never waited so long for food. They were getting a lot of food out to the delivery services, maybe that was the hold up.
So, my takeaway: really, really good food, far above average, maybe an off day and no one showed up to work? Everyone in the restaurant was happy with their food.
The lunch specials are very low-priced, not sure how they can still do that, they have a $7.95 option. Portions were large.
I had the pad see ew, probably one of the best I've had. Husband ordered Thai fried rice and kept saying how good it was. Overall, food was off the charts.
Very good and affordable.
This place is amazing. It should be five stars for sure. Just don’t get the Pad Thai. Very consistent every time we come.
Its good
The service was excellent also. Small crew, but they got it done. The atmosphere is nice as well.
Ordered take out from here tonight and probably won’t be ordering again. Very bland and not spicy at all, even though we requested medium. Had to add lots of Siracha. I like that you can order online and the food was ready for us when we got there. The vegetables were crisp and chicken was fine and tender, the sauces were just very lacking of those wonderful Thai flavors. Also found multiple hairs in our food, eeeek!
Our go-to thai place. Family operated, the service is a bit slow since they dont have help and are understaffed. But the food is usually very good (did have one of our usual dishes come out terrible last time, sent it back, but that isnt the normal). If the thai options in the bountiful area this is the one to go to.
One dish was cold, another too sweet. Took about an hour to get our food. Only 1 waitress..
Easily some of the best Thai food north of Salt Lake
We thought we were going to a local hole in the wall, but we walked in to cloth covered tables and folded napkins! The service was fantastic and the food was even better! 🙌
Definitely a ton of echo in the dining area, most tables need to speak at as a whisper as to not talk over the other tables. AMAZING food however, I would get take out any day of the week from here
Really good Thai. Everything we had was delicious, cashew nut chicken, drunken noodles, and crab Rangoon. Can’t wait to go back and try the curries and other items.
It took a minute for the host to come out and seat us, but after that it’s all 👍🏼. The yellow curry was the best we’ve had in ages. The steak was cooked very well and not overseasoned like some places do for a ribeye.
We got the spicy Thai rolls as an appetizer and they had a great crunch with a sweet, tangy sauce.
We will be coming back!
Great food, felt like authentic Thai. Nice service.
Restaurant a bit messy in the main table with pile of supplies not aesthetically nice but not biggie for me.
We've been here a couple of times within a month because it is so good. Everything we have had here is delicious and the presentation is 🔥, literally.
Unique curry combos and great flavor in everything we've had.
-The curry puffs are amazing.
- The house salad is big enough for 2 people and the peanut sauce is really good.
- Pineapple curry had baby tomatoes in it, which was a fun addition. Could use more peppers though.
- Khao Soi Curry had the crispy onions on top, which was a great addition.
- The pot stickers were perfectly crispy all around.
- The curry sauce on the dumplings had amazing basil flavor.
- The picky eater kid loved the wings.
- Fried shrimp balls were very mild on the shrimp flavor and a fun item we had never had before.
- Tons of stir fry options.
They are currently short stafted. But the guys who were there were friendly and kept checking on us. I only ranked service a 5 because we waited about 20 min before they took n or order
Used to love this place but now feel differently. Seems to have lost it's spark. Food has lost its quality and the host was unpleasant.
First visit. Food was good but only average. Calamari was a bit tough and had minimal flavor. Pineapple fried rice was more savory than sweet and tasted more Indian than Thai. Yellow curry was very good and the serving very generous. The Cashew Nut Stir Fry didn’t have much flavor. The waitress was functional but staffing was quite low and she was not attentive to the customers.
Amazing food! Best curry in town, I love all of their curries!!! The green curry dumpling appetizer is also very good! The price for lunch specials are amazing and the dinner portions feed me for 2 days.
Waitress followed us to the car to ask for her tip. She said if we dont have money for tip to not come to that restaurant again. She was telling us to go back to the restaurant to tap our card again to tip. Asked if we had cash too. Never been followed by a waitresses demanding a tip. Tip is not mandatory. Service was not anything special either. Asked for extra rice, and didnt even receive it till the end when our meal was over.
Dont not recommend this restaurant.
Excellent Food!!!
This place has always been a fantastic lunch option. You really can’t beat them for the low price they charge!
Usually nice and quiet at lunch time, except for the occasional over-priced Chad who’s grilling the staff because he thinks he’s at a much more expensive place.
Excellent food! Anything I order is delicious and just the right amount of eye-watering and spice. Friendly staff and comfortable sitting.
The food was ready fast, and the wontons were basic but pretty tasty.
Other than that the food was bland, rice was overcooked, and the meats were dry. We ordered a massaman curry, pad Thai, and Thai fried rice which is our standard order when trying a new Thai place. We will not go back to this one.
This was the first time I tried Thai food and it was extremely delicious. I got the yellow curry and it was so good! The service was great as well. Definitely recommend this place.
Super cute place and love that it feels expensive, but the prices are reasonable and it’s very comfy to eat inside. Pad Thai was delicious!
I’m first impression, it’s a pretty nice place! BUT. The waitress wasn’t very kind. She seemed pushy about a tip. The noodles were over cooked and mushy. The beef was so hard it took minutes to break down! I was not impressed and will not be back.
Used to be really good - last couple times something has changed. The chicken is soooo baaaad. Tastes like it’s been boiled and sitting in a bucket for days.
Fix it please!! I love this place otherwise
This was a horrible experience. There was slow service, mediocre cold food, we were not given plates and utensils, and asked to tip multiple times. There was no consistency with the service - some people got plates and water and food quickly but we were waited 30 minutes before getting addressed. When we didn’t tip because of the bad service and food, the waitress asked five times for a cash tip. I reluctantly gave her $3 which was 15% for our check essentially because it was a very uncomfortable situation to be asked that when it should never be expected. She didn’t even say thank you and just walked away. Definitely would not recommend to anyone. Oh also the fresh spring rolls was a ton of salad stuffed very loosely in rice paper.
Horrible Service!!! My wife and I have been enjoying lunch here once a week for the past 4 months and on our recent visit we were met with a hostile waitress.
They used to have amazing service and food, but as of late, the quality and service have diminished. The waitress was very rude, waited to bring our food till very last, (even the couple next to us asked, because they got their food first and sat 10 min. after we did). So upon paying for the meal, she noticed I hadn't left a tip on the remote billing computer then proceeded to yell at me in front of the whole restaurant for not leaving a tip, then told my wife and I to never return and that she would remember us.
In this case, 'Tipping' was considered a city in China and I was not contributing.
Bomb, healthy, satisfying, delicious, feels so good after eating unlike most places in town! Chefs special salmon, medium heat curry with brown rice is my go to...
The table was completely unsteady and spun around. We decided to get take out instead and eat appetizers while waiting. We were served in a styrofoam box no napkins plates or forks. Several tables in the restaurant next to ours were dirty and nobody attempted to clear them. When our take out was ready they never told us just left of sitting at the wonky table until I got up to check and it had been sitting at the counter. Don’t recommend the Tom Yum soup it’s awful. It wasn’t a good experience.
First time eating at Thai in Town. Loved the food! Very good flavors and plenty of options. We really enjoyed the Yellow Curry with chicken and the Ginger Stir Fry with beef. Probably our favorite Thai food in town.
The atmosphere was good, but a few drawbacks (admittedly, not much they can do about them). Not the best location being in a strip mall area. Not the best parking; difficult to get into and out. The restaurant was nicely decorated, but a typical strip mall space, small and boxy. I would love to see them move to a separate building, built as a restaurant. Regardless, would definitely recommend Thai in Town!
Very flavorful with quick and attentive service. There is something for everybody including those that are less adventurous while still maintaining a high quality, at least for the variety of things we tried. Definitely going back, loved their curry!
Didn’t welcome us, demanded we order “NOW”, and the food was not good. We got the Pad Thai and it just wasn't that good. The chicken and vegetables were tough and we ended up not being able to eat them. Never refilled water, never checked on how the food was, and got in our bubble space cleaning tables around us. We won’t be eating here again.
I was excited to have a Thai place in Bountiful. However, this was disappointing. We got there an hour before closing (online said they closed at 10 but the door said 9:30- we sat down around 8:35 or so.) We we’re barely greeted and about 30 seconds after sitting down, we were abruptly told we needed to order right then because the kitchen closes at 9:30. The waiter never introduced themselves (still don’t know which person was our waiter/waitress) nor did they check on our food or fill our drinks. The water was gross. We ordered Pad Thai. The sauce was ok and they did give plenty of sauce which was nice. However, the vegetables were not cooked great. The broccoli was really tough and so was the meat. Too bad this wasn’t a good experience. Pretty wall decor and lighting but- I don’t have a desire to go back. Hope they can turn it around so Bountiful can enjoy some good Thai.
Great experience. Happy to see table cloths being used in a restaurant that is also a great value for food. Would happily return again soon.
This is our favorite Thai place in Utah. Delicious food and good service.
Was impressed by how good the food looked, plating and presentation of the dishes excellent. The drunken noodles were really good. The pad Thai seemed to be cooked well and had good flavor, I just was not expecting something so soupy. It seems to be the style they were going for and they executed it well, just not what I was used to or looking for.
The service was good and food came out quickly. I will come back and try some other plates for sure though.
I have a spring roll craving a lot lately, and these were not the spring rolls I was looking for. Way too much lettuce and large mint leaves, with 2 little pieces of tofu, just overall pretty disappointing. The soup was mostly pretty good, although I got chicken when I ordered tofu
Always wonderful
My new favorite place. I absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere. If I could give 10 starts I would!
Note to the owners, suggestions for improvement:
1. It was hard for me to find it and I circled 3 times the same spot, before I noticed a small sign on the door. A bigger sign on the building would help.
2. 2 dishes on my table were chipped, which took a little off my otherwise extremely perfect experience 👌.
Compliments: I am soooo happy with every dish we tried. It was a pure pleasure and perfection 🥰. Pineapple Curry with salmon is simply the best! My kids loved everything they tried as well. The tea with floating flower was magical! I love teas, and I cherish the experience! Table cloths and beautifully folded napkins added to the experience. Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful place and I am looking forward to be your loyal long term customer.
I got the fresh spring rolls. I would not go back for these as it was basically lettuce wrapped in a wrapper. The only flavor they had came from the peanut sauce. I would be willing to try the Thai food but would not return for the fresh spring rolls.
Disappointed tonight. We love Thai in Town and visit fairly regularly. Arrived at 8:25pm for dine in and we were turned away because they were cleaning up and told they were only doing takeout. Figured we could’ve ordered our curry, ate, and left before their 9:00pm closing time. We took our business elsewhere this evening to sit down and eat. Not sure what the acceptable time is to arrive at Thai in Town for dine in, but apparently you should plan to arrive earlier than we did.
Visited for the first & last time on Saturday. This place is very unorganized. Arrived at 6:00 PM Ordered 2 appetizers and 3 entrees. After about 15 minutes got one appetizer, the second one about another 15 minutes later. Noticed three tables that were seated after us were getting their meals, finished eating and left while we still had no entrees. Noticed the table seated at the same time right before us had two guests and after a half hour of their waiting only one was served, the other poor kid had to wait and was joking he must have ordered a “wish dinner”. We had tickets to an event and finally after waiting for 50 minutes with no waiter checking on us, we went to the hostess and told her we needed to leave and wanted to pay for our appetizers. Just then the waitress rolled out a cart with the entrees, one for the poor kid next to us and two of ours. I told her we could have them boxed for take-out and then was told our third entree was not even ready. We were done, told them to ring up the appetizers because we were out of time. The waitress brought out the hand held card reader and after it reads the card it displays a screen for different tip options. As we went for the “No Tip” option, she pulled back on the machine and told us we HAD to tip. Seriously, we told her we tip based on service and didn’t have to tip on our bad experience. She did not like that and I kid you not it literally took FIVE times of trying to press No Tip before we could catch it on the machine as she pulled back each time and said each time we HAD to tip. Geez… then when I asked for the receipt she put both hands up to my face and said “10 minutes!” and walked away. The hostess was very gracious and got me one right away. No food is worth that kind of service.
Food is normally very good, like anybody I think they suffer from staffing issues. They are very kind and do a good job trying to manage the stress. Try them out, be patient and the food will be worth it.
best thai food in utah. the tom kha broth is amazing. I will say that they seem to be really short staffed and you can expect a wait, but the food is really good.
Amazing food and service. I would highly recommend for delicious Thai food!
Love this place! Best Thai food and local!
We tried Thai in town for dinner twice. Once in person, once takeout. Our in person experience wasn’t great, the waiters/hosts take forever to get to people and aren’t super attentive, and the dishes were dirty (like lipstick on cups, food on silverware, and sticky dishes). When we tried takeout their system went down, and while I can’t fault them for that, I can say how they handled it was horrible. There were easily 15 people waiting for orders, and the waiter/host disappeared into the kitchen for 15 minutes and the other one continued to seat people. One person had been sitting there for over a hour waiting for her food. Just overall poor experiences, and not worth any future attempts.
This place is a hidden gem. They are getting busier but the quality is the same
Ordered pickup. Food was packaged great and portions were generous. The food was insanely good. Everything was a hit. Our family of three were all sharing our dishes back and forth. Extremely tasty!
The location is extremely inconspicuous. Wouldn't even know this place existed if not for the online presence, but the inside looked really nice, great lighting and decor. Really glad I found this place, will definitely be getting this food again.
This location is a little hard to find but worth the trip. Food and service were great, pricing g was reasonable, and I will definitely go back.
Some of the best Thai around! Definitely will be returning in the near future!
I got the papaya salad and it was gross. I’ve never had the papaya salad served without sticky rice. I had to order a side of white rice. I also got the wings and they were slimy. My guess is they were frozen cause the texture was gross. Would rather drive 20 min to Salt Lake to get real papaya salad. Rip off
Really awesome thai food here! I love the pad krapao pork. SO GOOD!
Great lunch specials and really good Thai food
We were planning our next visit here before we even got up from the table. :) We absolutely loved it, and hope it stays around a long time! Try the ginger stir fry with seafood and brown rice - outstanding!
Legit Thai food in Bountiful. Who knew? My family ordered 5 different dishes and all were excellent. Highly recommend.
Absolutely incredible. If it’sa dish you like, you’ll love it here. Our favorite was the Khao Soi. A must try!!
Got some take out from here. Ordered spring rolls, pad Thai, mango and sticky rice and a curry. Every dish seemed To be missing half the ingredients. The spring roll was pretty much all lettuce with three shrimp on the top. I ate one of the shrimp and it was, without exaggeration, completely tasteless. It was like chewing unflavored jello. The pad Thai was also very skimpy on ingredients and did not taste right. The curry had a nice flavor but the soup was so thin and seemed to, again, be missing ingredients. I didn't even try the sticky rice and mango because the rice was the wettest, sloppiest, saddest excuse for sticky rice I've seen and when I tried to take a bite of the mango it was rock hard. Definitely would not recommend. Quite inedible.
Incredible food, incredible people, incredible atmosphere!
Super yummy! Ordered the yellow curry and it was DELICIOUS perfect amount of potatoes and carrots! As well as the Gai Yang! First time trying and I will be back!
The best Thai food!!
Food was great, reasonable prices and friendly staff.
Went and tried it. BIG MISTAKE, ordered pat thai, very soggy, no flavor, few pieces of beef, this was the worse pai thai noodles we ever had. The thai fried rice wasn't thai, had Chinese broccoli, few pieces if beef, no flavor. The description of the food did NOT match the menu. We told the cashier about it, he did not know what to say. We did not eat to bother waiting for a manager.
This place is bad for thai food. Would not recommend it to anyone that knows what real thai good is. Pricey $$$$$$$$ for what you get.
Delicious Thai food!!! Lots of Thai places in the greater Salt Lake Area and this is definitely in the top group. We had the penang curry and drunken noodles. The penang is silky smooth and perfect depth of flavor.
Hands down, one of the best thai places I have been to in this area, or even the north side of the valley. The food was fantastic, the portions for lunch were perfect, and the staff was attentive, quick and kind! Thank you for the fine meal and a great start to my day!
I ordered cream cheese wontons for my appetizer, and green curry for my entree. Both were divine!
The food was excellent but the staff was largely absent. We stay an extra 20 min just waiting for our bill.
