Food was fantastic! Had fresh spring rolls, lemongrass with tofu, but most outstanding was my Thai iced tea, delishous! Owners were friendly and attentive. Definitely will be returning.

My partner and I visited Churi's today for the first time. We went for lunch, and there weren't many people there. One group was leaving, and one more was dining while we were. Service was very fast. The food was really, really good. My partner got a curry, and I got one of the chef's specials. We split an order of spring rolls (which were amazing), and we split dessert- toasted coconut ice cream. It was sublime. The owner served us, and spent some time talking with us and telling us funny stories. She stayed with us long enough to make us feel like we were really being taken care of (which we were), but not so long that the conversation was bothersome. She's a really great host!

The atmosphere was nice, and, despite the christian radio playing, our host seemed really lgbt-friendly, which is something that some of us need to worry about. I'd highly recommend this place and we'll be going there again for sure.

I loved the food and service. Best Pad Thai I've had in the last few years. They brought us spring rolls which was not ordered and were very generous.

However, their restaurant would greatly benefit from a good deep cleaning. The ceiling vents were gross looking.

It was a very cute and quiet place. The food came out in decent time and it was so delicious! Generous portions too. Make sure you ask for mild if you really don't want things spicy. ;) The only complaint I have is that we waited quite a while to get our check after they took our plates.

We went in and the son was there and he really was super friendly and nice. His mother came out later to see how everything was and she was very friendly too. The food was great! If you are worrying about spicy you have options on how spicy you want it. Great little family restaurant! The drunken noodles are really good!

The same thing went for our chicken curry dish. The flavor was wonderful but basically didn't have chicken in it. The staff was great and very personable. Just sucks there was no meat in our meal.

Sad to say, Churi's is closed permanently. I spoke with Mark at the beginning of the month, this was their intention.

Churi's is a nice option for Thai traditional dishes in the Northeast wedge and irondequoit. The food did not disappoint, but be aware there is a byob requirement. The tables are roomy and clean. They offer a nice southeast asian food experience without the frills...at a very competitive price to dine. I would go back when in the area.

My wife brought me home dinner from the Coconut Tree and I was thrilled with the authentic Thai cuisine. Irondequiot are is so lucky to have another excellant restaurant.

Just went here for the first time ever! What have I been missing!? Kuay Tiew soup (my new favorite Thai soup) and fried egg rolls were amazing! Great service too - fast and friendly! I'll be back for sure!

The restaurant was quiet small and clean. We got there before the rush but it filled up right after. The owner was waiting tables and did a great job. We were not rushed and took his direction on appetizers. The fresh spring rolls were terrific. Our main courses were pad thai with chicked and spicy something with beef. White rice. We are until stuffed because it was sooo good. Medium heat was perfect. Very nice experience.

This is the best Thai food I have ever eaten. May even be the best food I have ever eaten. The server made me feel like I was the most important person in the world, I am pretty sure he was also the owner, which is even more awesome. Made me feel like I was family. Cannot say anything bad about this place other than the first door you see is not the entrance.

I have been to this restaurant numerous times. Each time I was greeted like I was family. The food is fantastic and the staff will recommend things easily. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place to everyone. It is definitely someplace different to eat.

But if you need good tasty home cooked food, visit churi.

One of my favorite spots in Rochester. The food is amazing! My favorite is the Thai Noodle Soup. Unique spice blend you can get, mild, medium or spicy (My Favorite!). Definitely check it out.

I went here last night and was billed twice on my credit card. Because they are not open today I can't even stop the transaction. I now have to call my bank and hope they can stop the transaction. I'm so annoyed that I get home to find two seperate transactions on my bank statement from this restaurant,
yet on my receipt from the restaurant it has one transaction. Wish I never gave them a damn tip! 😡

We ordered pad thai, spring rolls, and bubble tea. The noodles were 1 big glop, the spring rolls were all noodle and lettuce, and the bubble tea was mostly ice. Not at all with the money. I'm not evening saving my leftovers to eat later; I'm throwing it out.

The food and service were as always exquisite. Still one of the great New York restaurants. I wish the sea urchin with apple foam were still being served in a sea urchin -- that was spectacular -- but it's still delicious. The cheese course was particularly good, the bread is amazing, the wine service perfect. It's hard to think how to improve this. Sad that it's going to close soon.

Stop by for Lunch or dinner. Food has fresh great flavors. If you like the heat ask for it "Hot"

I don't understand all the good reviews. Our meals were sub-par and the prices were really high for Thai food. I paid $13 for a meal that literally tasted like a $1 package of Chapagetti with spice and grizzly chicken scraps. The curry had an off taste to it... it wasn't good at all. We sat next to the bay window and the musty carpet smell made the whole experience worse. I figured with all the positive reviews, the food must be good. It wasn't.

My wife and I frequent Churi's Coconut Tree on a weekly basis. We've been long time customers for many years. Churi used to own a restaurant on Culver across from Sea Breeze Park, it was called Churi's Thai Cuisine. If you're looking for Authentic Thai Cuisine, without the Chinese Flair, ie baby corn, carrots and peas... look no further, Churi's Coconut Tree is where you'll want to be. You'll truly be amazed especially with a version of coconut soup that is not like any other in this area, or in this state. Also, if you're not able to handle alot of spiciness, no problem Churi will accommodate your palate from very mild, to off the chart spicy.

Delicious! We were a party of 3, ordered the coconut soup and egg rolls. The soup was amazing, not sweet at all, very flavorful. We then shared two entrees and were completely full by the end. You can choose the level of spice, we chose mild for curry pineapple fried rice and pad Thai. Both were wonderful, we would definitely return.

This was my first visit to a Thai restaurant and it won't be my last. I loved the Masaman (yellow curry chicken) and my husband had Beef Cashew Nut. Each dish was tasty and had just the right amount of spice. For dessert, we had coconut ice cream which had chocolate chunks and toasted coconut flakes. It was creamy and delish!

I ordered the pad thai today and it is truly the best Pad Thai I've ever eaten. Cudos to the chef.... The only Thai restaurant I will go to from now on.

The service alone is 5 stars. Super duper friend servers and the food came out pretty quick, within 6 or 7 minutes. The food was phenomenal. Would easily come back here again, really a nice hidden little restaurant.

My wife and I were introduced to Coconut Tree by some friends. I had previously only had Thai food at Esan Thai and was afraid to eat Thai anywhere else because of how much I loved Esan. Coconut Tree was so good that it also gave me the courage to try other local Thai places. I have now eaten at most of the Thai restaurants in Monroe County. I really like 5 of them but Coconut Tree is my favorite. I try to get something new every time we go and I haven't been disappointed yet!
