It took me a long time to try Zaap Thai. I have this weird thing about eating local. I wish I had tried them long before I did. They are the nicest people you can meet and their food is always delicious. The cost is great compared to other places similar to them in bigger cities. They make everything fresh and it always tastes fantastic. I suggest you order ahead in you can because it does take a minute to make everything. Best Rangoon you will have and the dumplings are even better fried. I love this place and I will continue to support them!

Zaap Thai is definitely a gem in the area. Food was fast, fresh, and flavorful. I had the Red Chicken Curry with steamed rice. It was a large enough portion where you could split with someone. My family really enjoyed their food too. I highly recommend!

Literally always call in my food, and they usually said about 10 mins but it’s always so much shorter. They are really fast workers. Their food is amazing. They are really an amazing addition to waskom because Ik a lot of people love the food they make. Please keep up the good work.

Really good Thai food.

This food was AMAZING!! A hidden jewel in the city of Waskon,TX. There was a short wait time, the food was made fresh & the service was so nice. For anyone driving to or from Texas or Louisiana the food is worth making the 3 minute detour off I-20 to grab a plate. A++

I’ve been here twice and both times have been very impressed. The red curry is a good blend of sweet from the coconut milk and savory. Their Tom yum is also very flavorful. They have a spice scale from 1-5 and it’s true to scale. I got a 3 and would say that’s definitely mid spice for my taste. Enough to get your nose running but not hot enough to actually burn your tongue. Give this place a chance and you’ll be glad you did.

The Pad Thai is just awesome, the tamarind sauce sauce has a kick like no other!

This place is sooo good! Just passing through on I-20, decided to stop and so glad I went the 5 minutes out of the way!! Worth it! I had the red curry, extra spicy, it was the best I have had to date!! They do not have indoor dining, it is take out or outdoor seating only. Excellent customer service!!

I ate here yesterday and oh my god. I am from Fort Worth and we have a lot of good Thai places in the city, but this is hands down the best Thai food I have ever had. Try the yellow curry, it is out of this world!

Such a full surprise to find a very good Thai food in a small city of Waskom.We ordered shrimp zaap rice, calamari, and red shrimp curry. It didnt disappoint us everybite is spot on, love the curry its flavorful but not so spicy. Our order was ready in less than 5mins, and the food servings are big. Keep up the good work guys!!! ❤
