I was excited to find a Thai restaurant that was close to the area I loved in! This restaurant had a nice variety of options for noodles, rice dishes, pho, and lots of delicious drinks. My friend and I were also impressed with the flavor and felt that the prices were standard for this type of cuisine. Would totally come back here in the future!

Food is pretty good and flavorful. Wish the rice portion was more to match the portion of larb kai. Ordered Shrimp salad (it’s was a mix of sweet, sour, savory dressing), Drunken noodles, Larb Kai and eggrolls. Service is good.

We had the appetizer sampler which was a great size and each item was good. The egg rolls were my favorite and my husband loved the potstickers. He had the pho with beef and really enjoyed it. I ordered the cashew nuts with chicken and it was really good. The vegetables were cooked nicely and the portion sizes were good. Their sauce work is great and they have a decent depth of flavor. We'll probably be back to try more!

This is my first time at Thai Lao, so I was incredibly pleased with the amazing decor! The restaurant looked so clean and organized, you can tell the owners put a lot of love into this place. However, I don’t think they should advertise Pho when they only have one Pho dish, which was a bit disappointing for me, thus the 4 stars.

For drinks, we ordered Thai coffee (You have to try this, it’s amazing) and sweet iced tea.

As an appetizer, we got the chicken pot stickers, took roughly 5 minutes to get them out and they were delicious!

For entrees, my partner and I ordered the yellow and red curry with chicken. Personally, I liked the red curry a bit more, it was spicier than the yellow, which was on the sweeter side. I thought the yellow curry lacked a little on the flavor, but it was still very good!

Overall, I say definitely give this place a try for their curry. I’ve read the other reviews and it seems that this place is a hit or miss, depending on what you get.

Place: Interior was really clean design, I think more of Industrial design (black, gray, brown and white) It's literally clean and not crowded the time we went.

Service: It was pretty good. The woman who assisted us helped us to pick which was the must try.

Food: I did like it! The curry was really tasty. We ordered spring roll and beef with veggies. I enjoyed the thai and asian spices of this restaurant.

We came here first the first time, October 8th and had dinner. We had the Pad Thai and Panang Beef. The food was awesome! Easily some of the best Thai food we've had in years. The ladies working tonight did a great job and the waitress was nice and friendly. We will definitely come back.

This place has a great menu but today I went and b4 I walk in a police truck was already parked, I went in police left, I order Thai Basil but I noticed this time there were some pieces that tasted like they were old and since right now I’m going through some type of transitional situation. I have a weird feeling that it’s not a good idea to go eat out. I came home and had really bad diarrhea so hopefully nothing else happens to me in the next few days I am thinking of getting my blood checked and I’m gonna go to the doctor cause I wanna make sure nothing was put in my food. because the lady who always talks to me wasn’t in the front so I’m not sure what happened but I know she did prepare my food. And was in the back very quiet. Sidenote I love this place. It’s a really good restaurant so I really hope no cop paid anybody or did anything crazy to try to hurt me?

I Went here for the first time today for lunch without knowing what to expect. I actually really enjoyed the food. The vibe in there was beautiful and the restaurant is super neat. Will definitely be frequenting this spot.

The flavors are good, but the portions are quite small for the price. Also, no free drink refills.

I love massaman curry and order it at just about every Thai restaurant I come across. This was not massaman. It tasted more like a watered down yellow or maybe even a green curry with way too much salt. Nothing like any massaman I’ve ever had at the dozens of other restaurants I’ve order it from. Very odd and very disappointing.

I'm a local construction worker building the Methodist hospital across the street.
I wanted something healthy so I came here but was greeted with rudeness and disrespect, I'm assuming because my work attire.
Disappointed!

RUN! COCKROACHES were running up the walls, the owner was outrageously rude - to the point that she rolled her eyes and argued with me when she brought me the incorrect order. She had clorox and makeup out on the dining tables. The place, ownership included, was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING

The Pad Thai is not made with the normal Pad Thai sauce but a red sweet & sour sauce with a strange smell. Personally I was not a fan and prefer a traditional Pad Thai. I then tried the Pad Mee and it tasted really good but I also got severely sick at both ends after eating at this place. So eat at your own risk. The food was beautifully presented and the service was decent.

It looked slow for a Saturday night but that’s okay bc i picked up my order earlier than expected. I ordered the beef pho , beef fried rice and beef pad see. Flavor was on point and portions were more than expected. My sons first time trying Thai cuisine and he loved it!

This is one of my favorite spots for AUTHENTIC Thai & Laos dishes. The flavors are always so delightful and the presentation is amazing.
Not to mention how beautifully CLEAN this is restaurant always is.

I ordered delivery. The delivery fee was a little high, but that's fine. The food arrived quickly and was very hot. The food itself was not good. I couldn't stomach the pad Thai at all, it tasted rotten. The pineapple fried rice didn't have much flavor, which was better than being bad flavor, but it was very oily. The pineapple was fresh, but it hadn't been cut properly, and many of the pieces were just core. Onions weren't listed as an ingredient on the online menu, but they were present in large chunks. The portions were quite small.

When I called the restaurant, they were very friendly and refunded my food. I will probably return just because of how friendly they were, but I will be more careful about what I order next time.

Let me say, I loved this place from the moment I walked in. Nice decor, comfortable chairs, very clean. 100 score record posted on the outside door. The waitress was kind and very helpful. The peach tea and mango tea taste great. The Spring Rolls tasted great and the sauce that came with them was a little spicy. The Thai Crispy Rolls were tasty. The food came out quickly and was fresh and hot. Great hidden gem and we will definitely be back and add it to our Thai take out orders.

Decided to try something around this part of town since I’m new to the area. I ordered Togo as I was on a lunch break from work. The order went well except when I asked if they included chili oil (because I know some places don’t with their pho) I got a response like yes of course as if I should know it is included. Other than that I placed my order fine and was given my food in a quick 10 minutes. I ordered the beef pho I specified eye round but the meat I got was thick and tough so I don’t think she heard that part and Vietnamese egg rolls which were very tasty and cooked perfectly. I would just have to complain about the attitude I got about the chili oil which was not included in my Togo order afterall only some sauce which looked like a mix of hoisin and siracha. I added both but the soup was still bland and since I picked out the meat was already lacking protein. I rarely stray from my usual spots because of issues like this and will just be sure to wait to satisfy my pho craving at my usual spot next time.

I had the p h o and my friend had some other dish with chicken and it sure was good.

I was not happy with the price. Tuesday Lunch, and I paid $30 for these two dishes and a side of steamed rice. The portion was half that of other Thai restaurants in the area, but they try to spread it out in the box to make it look like a lot. Will post pictures as well.

A step below the other Thai places in the neighborhood. Pad Thai is good. Everything else is off, especially the curry.

Loved it! Went with my wife & mother. Don't listen to the reviews talking about bad service; clearly these people aren't down to earth and don't know what they are walking into. This isn't a fine dining experience, don't expect that kind of service. It's straight to the point; the focus is the food. Every dish ordered was flavorful; can't wait to go back.

Don’t go here! The service was super rude. We had to seat ourselves, she just overall wasn’t nice. I ordered the green curry…the curry itself was terrible the spice was fine but the overall flavor wasn’t good. I wasn’t gonna return on that alone. But as I continued to eat the 13$ curry I see hair in the rice. It was a long strand of hair that was intertwined with the rice itself. So gross. To top it off we were still forced to pay for this food (they sent a replacement but who wants to eat food from the same kitchen) don’t go here if you can avoid it. It wasn’t good and there are PLENTY of Thai places in San Antonio. Honestly Yayas Thai, Noppagao JUST to name a few but don’t go here.

A well-appointed and immaculately clean little restaurant. It has a very limited menu and is missing some rather staple menu items such as Laab or Yum Nua (Thai Beef Salad). The food was good but unremarkable. Thai food typically has a certain zing to it. This didn't. You probably won't be disappointed eating here, but you probably won't be inspired to come back either.

I never in my life wrote a review about anything or took the time about reviewing other than just simply wont go back or just spread the word. As for my wife and I went to this place, service was not the best, and the food (Pad Thai) was horrible, had a Metal smell too. Told waitress about it, but she didnt care, that would be $45 dollars please. We informed her about our experience as we had a full plate of food that we did not touch. The place did not meet us half way so beware. It gets better or should i say worse, brought the food home, and our dog (mikey) did not even eat the food either. So definitely not he best not even ok, and definitely needs more experience in customer service as well.

We always order Uber from here. We have had the pho, pad Thai, and pad woonsent. They’re always super fast and the food has been delicious every time. I was hesitant to try them because of the overall review but I was not disappointed when I gave them a chance.

One of the worst customer experiences ive encountered in a long time...
There were only 3 total customers in the restaurant when i arrived...
Got seated once and wasnt addressed to place my order for 15 minutes...
I attempted to be patient just to have the waitress tell me they didnt have the ingredients for an item i ordered,in response
i decided i no longer wanted the item...
I then waited another 15 minutes just for the waitress to tell me"its coming"... at that point i had enough and it was time for me to leave and take my business elsewhere...
Customer service was PATHETIC!!!
And it was my 1st time at the restaurant.
I wanted to try a new place and i guess thats what i get... simply as terrible as it gets....

Great Thai place we just discovered in the strip mall. Food is outstanding, and the place is very clean. Their last health inspection rating was a 100/A. Will definitely be going back.

Beware - I would not recommend this place to anyone. I ordered The Pho and it was horrible. The waitress asked me if I would like to order something else after noticing I was not eating the Pho after my first bite. After having tasted the Pho I was hesitant to order anything else, thinking I would be safe I ordered Pot Stickers…a few minutes after hearing a microwave open up and turn on I received my Pot Stickers. I immediately called for the check and was out of there.

First time trying this restaurant. Very clean and staff was very helpful. We had read all the reviews while we waited for our food, did get a little worried but it was actually really enjoyable. We got the Vietnamese coffee, Vietnamese egg rolls, and drunken noodles medium heat with chicken. It was all delicious and fresh. The prices are average affordable. Definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Couldn’t even tell you if food was good. Placed an order online and they closed early unknowingly. Drove to pick up food and was told to contact google for a refund. Don’t order from here unless you call the restaurant directly and know they are open. Not great customer service.

Delicious food, very spicy

Decided to try this restaurant and called in my order to go. I found 2 short curly hairs in my bag which was a bad start to a really bad meal. The chicken curry had so much oil in it that I couldn't taste anything else. I could visibly see the oil sitting on the top of the bowl. The white rice was cold and stale. The fried rice was very bland. The sesame chicken was sitting in so much watery sauce that the chicken became soggy and started falling apart. The only part of the meal that was slightly enjoyable was the pot stickers.

Ordered takeout and it was absolutely delicious. We got the garlic lovers and the mixed vegetables both with tofu- will be ordering again!

First time we visit. Took a take out menu to order. When my husband ordered I notice my entree was a different price from the menu in the receipt, and I ask for chicken so the price wasn't supposed to change. When we ask the server/cashier, said the take out menu was the price for launch and that the big menu was for dinner, so I checked and was everything the same price. When tried to talk to her and explain she kept interrupting me repeating again and again the take out menu was price for lunch and not dinner (bull#&%*), and didn't let me even talk. Take out menu doesn't say anywhere prices are for lunch only. Food was good but too bad the experience I had made me decide to not go back.

Delicious and Very Down Home Feel

Staff is very friendly but food it’s not to the standards of the other Thai restaurant in the area. Prices are too high for the lack of food quality. This restaurant definitely not cooking Thai food, it’s just some type of Asian food.

First time customer and I can guarantee I will be back! Ordered Togo and it was out very fast! The veggies were all fresh, sautéed perfectly, and the seasonings were just superb.

We tried the Pad Thai, Stir-Fry Vegetables with Beef, Massaman Curry and the spring rolls. All of them were delicious. Good size portions means we get left-overs tomorrow!

Great food! We had chicken pad Thai and basil chicken. We ordered the pad Thai mild and it was almost too spicy, so order no spice if you don't like it. The inside is pretty and modern. We carried out our food, and it was ready promptly. Would definitely go back!

The pad Thai comes in a huge portion, is absolutely delicious and the spice levels are balanced with savory flavors. The egg drop soup is rich in flavor. This is a place worth spending money at and I will definitely be coming back.
