Counter-service spot for custom bowls & wraps with Chinese, Korean & Japanese flavors.
Such a happy accident! 10 stars! We tried going to Mod Market only to discover it closed. We ended up popping in to Chasu Kitchen instead and it was some of the best Chinese food we’ve had! The food tastes incredibly fresh and everyone was friendly. We also loved the interior, which is immersive and welcoming.
We ordered the broccoli chicken, Singapore noodles, and gyoza. We would order all three dishes again. The Singapore noodles had a little spice to them, which was lovely.
I ordered the Pad Thai from my work's food delivery app. Unfortunately, the app wasn't working and didn't say my order was delivered. That being said, I won't knock the food for that.
As far as the flavor of the Pad Thai, the peanut sauce was excellent. Good flavor. There were a TON of noodles. They really dominated the dish.
The chicken was cooked perfectly.
I will try this place again. I think that the noodles stuck together in one big clump because my food was sitting on the counter for a while.
Went for the 852 Cafe menu. One of the best stir fried flat noodles with beef (Qián chǎo niú hé) I’ve tried in the DFW. Fresh flat noodles stir fried at high heat where you can taste the char and smokiness of the wok.
The pork chop with the black bean sauce was also comforting.
All of the dishes had authentic Cantonese flavors and the service was spectacular.
My feedback is to look into the meat cuts used for the HK dishes. While the beef for the noodles were cut perfectly/right thickness, I felt that it could’ve been a bit more tender. Same with the pork chop.
I had been craving good sesame chicken! This place did not disappoint! I found the restaurant through Google and based on reviews decided to try it. I will definitely be back for more. The sesame chicken with broccoli was great, cooked to perfection. The side of fried rice was tasty and paired perfectly along with the delicious egg drop soup. Portions are great with leftovers for lunch the next day. Highly recommend!
Awesome. The Teas are great.

As of July 2024 "852 Cafe" has merged its Hong Kong cafe "cha chaan teng" menu into Chasu Kitchen. While they gradually bring back more HK cafe items to Chasu Kitchen, please continue to provide support and patience as we can finally enjoy HK cafe foods in a dine-in environment!

Excellent Chinese Fusion food.
So good, I didn’t even think to take a photo! Had a build your own wrap and it was delicious and a healthy meal option. SO good.
環境整潔舒適,食物水準一流
My husband and I have been here multiple times (both takeout and order in) and the food has remained consistently SUPERB, hot, FRESH, and the staff friendly and quick! Plus we LOVE the ambience of the restaurant — the jazzy piano and fun decor really make for a top tier casual date night!
My favorite is the sesame chicken with side of fried rice, and my husband has been having the chicken teriyaki bowl! Both 10/10n!
My wife and I love this place!!! Super nice people, great food
One of my favorite places to go to for lunch. I always build my own chicken or shrimp bowl. The ingredients are always fresh and you get a wide variety to choose from. Get the chasu sauce for the bowl...but sometimes I feel adventurous and pick the curry sauce instead...all good! Service is always friendly and quick. Never had a bad meal here!

First time trying this spot and decided to purchase the kimchi fried rice. I had a good deal of kimchi fried rice in my experience so I had high expectations, that did not happen. There was no flavoring. It was nowhere near spicy so I was a bit disappointed. I realized that they are serving a clientele that is somewhat fearful of seasoned food so I get it. However , the crispy veggie dumplings were very good and cooked perfectly.
Would I be back..not for the rice, maybe just for the crispy veggie dumplings if I’m in the area, but I will not go out of my way. They are an ok spot and the people were friendly that was a plus.
Love love love this place. A friend of ours introduced it to us and I was skeptical at first but it has quickly become one of my favorite Asian fusion restaurants to go to. They have a good variety of food but I’d say their specialty is their HK cuisine. My only complaint is the miso soup - at least the times I’ve had it - is always way too salty. Please dial down the salt and it’ll be 5 stars. I can’t say I’ve tried everything but my favorites so far are the Singaporean noodle, the mango coconut flan, and the Hong Kong milk tea.
Best lunch I’ve had in a while!! Thank you!! House satay chicken bowl with noodles was incredible!!
Tofu Veg bowl is okay.
Excellent and good quality food really clean restaurant
I absolutely love the “Chicken House Bowl.” It’s full of flavor, and most of all, they just up graded the size of the bowl. That said, you get a little bit more for your buck. And I’m actually feeling like I’m getting my moneys’ worth.
I loved Chasu for so long, but they started cutting corners like replacing chicken breast with thighs. Many of their classics (chicken w. broccoli) just don’t taste the same and it’s heartbreaking. The end of an era. Inflation strikes again.
The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is always great no matter what you get!
I ordered Chasu pork, chicken satay and tofu bowls, as well as the mango dessert from Chasu Kitchen this week for a group of 110. The delivery was on time and containers were great - not one leak or spill. Several people told me they really liked their meal and those of us that tried the green curry sauce thought it was SO good. I also really appreciated that they called ahead to suggest the sauces on the side instead of mixed in, just in case the green curry was too spicy for some. Everyone had a variety of sauces to choose from. Great experience all around!
I ordered the Pad Thai from my work's food delivery app. Unfortunately, the app wasn't working and didn't say my order was delivered. That being said, I won't knock the food for that.

I will try this place again. I think that the noodles stuck together in one big clump because my food was sitting on the counter for a while.
I haven't gotten anything that wasn't excellent. I love the basil pineapple 🍍 fried rice (with tofu). Mango pudding is delicious and their milk teas are a cut above.
Their fusion asian is very good. Our go to place! Fresh, quality ingredients, diverlse menu. Also offer bowls that you can build. Highly recommend and offer catering.
Cool eating place and nice rice bowl
For food, ONLY order the Hong Kong specialties if you are aiming for Chinese food! If you want like Thai food, go to a real Thai restaurant instead.
The only problem on the Hong Kong menu is that the pork chop is too fatty, but it's up to your personal preference.
For drink, the Hong Kong milk tea 港奶 is gorgeous, but DO NOT order the Hong Kong milk tea with coffee鸳鸯, it tastes like drip coffee made into americano, for which the authentic Hong Kong style should use strong black coffee.
The drink is not sweetened, so grab the sugar bottle from the utensil bar if you want sweetness. Typical Hong Kong restaurant provides simple syrup, but sugar is fine, just stir more if you order an iced drink.
[Overall, for food and drink, you should expect an average food truck/food festival event level quality.]
(Skip to bottom if you don't care our corner case experience)
For service, the uncle at register is nice, bu the aunt at kitchen is kind of "rude".
When one of my friends got a "chashu" bowl, she got a chunk of chicken mixed with the pork chops. It's probably just a small mistake that the Latino kitchen worker accidentally mix in the grilled chicken from other dishes, but since it's just 2-3 little pieces, it's totally fine.
All we want is just a simple apology, and if the waitress is nice, like in many other restaurants, will just offer a little extra pork chops for compensation. But instead, she is "surprised" and acted like how unbelievable this thing is, and then deny this truth like this is totally impossible. She even gave us a "little lecture" about how the chicken dishes and pork dishes are made differently in the kitchen... Apparently she might think we are arguing the chashu made from chicken, but it's obviously a serving mistake to mix the chicken in chashu instead of what she thought.
(She was nice initially, and served us well, so service won't be an issue for most people. And consideing the nice uncle at front register while ordering the food, I gave 4 stars.)
I really liked the decor as they made it look like a little bit of Hong Kong with all the road signs and street photos. My first time here and I ordered the baked pork chop with rice and HK lemon tea. I really have to say that it tastes just like when I'm up in Toronto (people know that Markham and Richmond Hill areas are staples for HK food!). The tomatoey sauce was sweet as it should be. I think the pork chop had a little too much fat on it but it's ok. They didn't put a ton of cheese like how they do in Toronto but it's a decent amount.
Flavor wise it's pretty delicious and the HK lemon tea is spot on! I definitely will be coming back to try other HK staple items on their menu.
Excellent food and service.
This place is just okay. I'm a big fan of Asian foods (e.g. Royal China at Preston and Royal is my standard). This place just doesn't have much of what I like. No water chestnut, no mushrooms, no snow peas, etc. I have a hard time getting good veggies here, which is odd as most Asian places have a great veggie selection. I know it's a fusion place but it's very limited in what they offer for ingredients. Also, the veggie spring rolls are bitter. Maybe too much lemon grass? Not sure. They tasted like Panda Express ones which I consider low quality. Now...the glass noodles were great. Noodle Wave or Tom Yum Thai has the best glass noodle dishes if interested in that and places with more veggies selection, but this rivaled those. The shrimp here is amazing.
The food is s super flavorful and delicious! The price is extremely reasonable. We just found the place on Google last week and have been here twice. We tried the chicken wings, pork with rice, and singaphore noodles. All are really good and authentic Hongkong style meals.
We, my gf and I, both made our own bowls. The meats and veggies along with rice choices are by far the best quality I’ve ever had. Very high quality food and great prices for the portions. We are visiting from out of town and would definitely make this our regular dinner date if had the opportunity!
If you like HK style food, this is the place! I ordered baked port chop with rice. Strongly recommended.
The food is always on point. They offer a plethora of succulent dishes! The service is impeccable and professional. I’ve been going for about three years and I’ve never had a wasted or bad experience!
WOW! I WAS BLOWN AWAY!
Excellent food and very nice service I had.
So fresh and warm. Definitely coming back to try more of there dishes. The flavors blended in there dishes, was so good! I was very impressed.
Awesome place. Give you lots of food for the price and it tastes amazing and authentic. Definitely coming back.
Never been before until recently and it was extremely good! Food was warm and had great flavor! Well more likely return and eat here again
I haven't tasted such amazing food like this in ages!!!! I would give this 10 stars if it was available. A hidden gem 💎
Had the chicken bowl (#2) and mango/coconut dessert. Both were very good. Service was friendly, restaurant and bathroom were clean. The music was relaxing and not too loud.
The bowls are so yummy and all the flavors combine in one plate make the most delicious tastes. Totally 100% recommend it if you wanna have a delicious lunch/dinner
Really good Brockly Beef and Orange chicken. Fried rice was very good
One is the best Asian eateries in the area. Lots of vegetarian options. We tried Tofu Singapore noddles and Malaysian curry; they were simply amazing!
Though the name Chasu comes from Cantonese cuisine, this fusion eatery also features menu items from other countries in East and Southeast Asia. The staff was very welcoming and helpful with deciding what to order according to our tastes.
The ambiance is reminiscent of a Hong Kong or Singaporean eatery, and I quite like the fact that it's not fully serviced (you order and pick up at the counter). Would definitely come back for another delicious bowl!
Amazing little place with so much personality, the whole interior is made to look like you're looking out to the streets!
Food was great and very diverse! And the staff was great, it was my birthday and they made it a amazing experience for me!
Fantastic! We celebrated a birthday with a group of 10 people. We made a reservation through on-line Google Assistant and the table was ready when we arrived. We ordered at the counter and we're served food in a timely manner. Everyone really liked their food and we all ordered different things. Highly suggest everything. Lol. The ladies working were very attentive and sweet.
Love it! We will be back.
The people who work here are kind, the service is fast and efficient, lastly, the food is delicious!!
Amazing amazing food, you can tell it’s fresh ingredients and has so much flavor. I’m hooked on the Shrimp house bowl and crab rangoon. They bring such a great twist on classic meals.
Excellent food very clean place !
This is my favorite place to eat in west plano, I don’t think I’ve ever gotten something I didn’t like from chasu kitchen!
First time getting food from here, got the House Beef Bulgogi bowl and Bun Set. Both were delicious and absolutely hit the spot. Will be back here regularly going forward.
Ordered tomyum soup & basil pineapple fried rice, there is no flavor, very average taste for the price.
My wife and I really enjoy eating here. The food is incredible!
The wings were not what I thought they were. I basically could’ve made them at home. Flavor was just not there. The Thai milk tea was over sweetened. The pad Thai peanut sauce didn’t even taste like peanut, it had a weird taste. It was cheaper than other places but definitely disappointed. If you’re white and don’t mind not having flavor in your food, then this is the place for you. It was packed with Caucasians, that should’ve been my red flag
Good food. I order takeout a couple of times per month on average. Have not ordered all items yet, but have not been disappointed yet with any of the items I have ordered so far.
I went to Chasu the other day and got their Korean spicy ramen with pork kimchi and egg.
Overall the food was okay but was pretty bland. Aside from the kimchi nothing really packed a lot of flavor. The egg was my favorite part of the dish despite my innate and never ending hatred for eggs. The noodles were also cooked well but I was extremely disappointed in the lack of spice that was in the ramen. I’ve had korean food before and they don’t play about their spice yet this place did. I wish there was significantly more spice in the broth and the pork was extremely bland. If i had to guess, I would say they just cooked the pork without seasoning and then shoved it in the ramen. Overall everything was solid but nothing crazy.
Food was great. Lot of variety and everything was fresh. This is my new spot for Asian fusion. Highly recommend!
I really do love Chasu. However, when you have food delivered, I feel that shortcuts are taken and the food is not as fresh! I ordered orange chicken, fried rice, and spring rolls (usual order). I could tell that it wasn't fresh because I ordered at 5:05 pm and driver was here at 5:15pm . I am about 10 minutes away. When I pickup order it itakes 20 minutes to make. Spring rolls were cold and fried rice came with vegetables and egg which is not the norm. Orange chicken was soggy.
Disappointed!
One year later..
Food and service great!
They got me hooked.
Shared a bulgogi beef bowl (yes, the portion is generous enough for two if not super-hungry), and also tried the firecracker shrimp appetizer. Both very good and the place is clean, inviting and cheerful, with great service. The only thing keeping me from giving it a five star rating is a touch too much sweetness in the marinade. Otherwise near-perfect.
Awesome place to eat
Amazing place with great food and service 👌🙂🙂
Fresh, healthy food and great service!!
Had this today for the first time, just get the chasu bowl, it's INCREDIBLE. I don't think I've ever had a better bowl in my life. They're definitely gonna see me often lol
Ordered takeout
Stopped by after reading the terrific reviews on this place, welp what a total disappointment. Ordered the teriyaki bowl, broccoli chicken, and spring rolls. The teriyaki bowl veggies looked like they had been sitting out for hours, corn straight out of a can and cold (why bother) the chicken was so bland. The broccoli chicken was even worse, with zero flavor. Trader Joe's frozen rice is better! The spring rolls had a strange taste. I love Asian food, but this place is a no for me.
Love, love, love this place and the food!
Great Asian food and service. Had a good lunch with a friend. Good times! Highly recommend for a quick lunch.
Fresh and Delicious!
Clean dining area with surprisingly pleasant HK ambiance. Liked that it was self-service where ordering is done at the counter. Banh Mi was very tasty.
Outstanding combination fried rice was EXCEPTIONAL lots of food for the price
Love this place! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Menu has a ton of options and everything is customizable. I’m gluten free and I’ve been twice with excellent experiences.
Was hot in here!
So very good.
Delicious! Quiet, lots of options, fast service, and easy to get to the location. Tofu fries & the Pad Thai were great.
친절하고 맛있었어요~
It's a restaurant on my way to work, and I heard it out of curiosity, and the meal was delicious, and the owner was kind There's a water purifier near the drink corner, and it comes out from the same entrance as lemonade The switch you press is wrong, so be careful. Add a little bit of char siu bibimbap and the sauce that comes out while you eat it. Otherwise, it can be very sweet
Incredible diversity of Asian cuisine. Always amazing service, consistent QUALITY and great experience every time. If you have not visited Chasu Kitchen you are missing out!!!!
Here is crazy!!! We ate two chasu bowls and bulgogi bowl, chi tea with boba. This place is Too much perfect 🤍 not expensive, and good food! Also very kind so, I will try again one day~
I probably eat here once a week and get the sesame chicken w/ spicy fried rice. Always a banger and so fresh🔥
Honestly the reviews of this place were so good we just had to try it and it held up! The service and food were amazing. We had the drunken noodle and a build your own bowl with the fried tofu to share. The drunken noodle were some of the best I’ve had in the DFW area. The bowl was a generous portion and our fried tofu as fun and unique starter! Afterwards we got boba tea (the taro coconut one is 10/10!!). The dining room was pretty chilly so evening the summer bring a jacket. The chairs are metal which wasn’t the most comfortable thing but you aren’t there for too long. Overall, a must do if you want Asian food in the area!
I’m so happy my job is next door to Chasu, fresh ingredients, great quality food and boba. Awesome chill spot and the staff super friendly. Can’t get enough of the Pad Thai. I wish I could give them ten stars over all. Family owned and the vibe and feel is so laid back and chill. Best Asian food with a good size portion.
Enjoyed the Asian fashion experience, specially some Hong Kong style environment. Reminded me the food in HK!
Tastes white-washed. Overpriced for the portions. Service and experience was good though.
extremely friendly service and exceptionally tasty food. i live far from chasu and wish i lived closer so i could eat here everyday
Super tasty Asian fusion! Great prices, fresh food, and healthy options! My family and I stopped here for a quick lunch and were super pleased with our meals. My husband had a shrimp bowl, I had a teriyaki bowl, and my brother had a bulgogi bowl. Everything was fantastic and we loved that we could chose between brown or white rice. Will definitely return if we are in the area again!!
Great restaurant with great food and friendly service! I had the bulgogi house bowl and it was delicious! Very fresh ingredients. I also had the Mint tea (iced) it was perfect!! I loved it and would recommend.
I’ll give it 5 stars for considering it is fusion food based as well as the service. My friend was vegan and we checked the food which had egg by our mistake, and they remade it instantly for her as well as gave us the full service that we needed to enjoy our food. It was pretty filling as well, I would definitely recommend and it tasted “healthy” in some sense so another plus. The fried crab rangoons were good but I do feel like the batter of the dough part could improve—overall amazing food!
I've had the fried rice, Ramen, wings, sesame chicken, orange chicken, and Crab rangoon. Everything is delicious! The wings are friend to perfection. The shrimp are huge. You also get nice portions. We love to eat here a couple of times a month. You won't be disappointed.
First time here and the reviews are SPOT ON! soooo gooood! Will be back
The gyoza, spring rolls, and Pad Thai were all fantastic. Great flavor, fresh, made-to-order. What more could you want?? The service was very friendly and helpful. The overall vibe was pretty cool too. The restaurant was designed to feel like you’re eating at a street market. A great place overall!
Found this on Google maps. Came for the 4.8 rating and was not disappointed! We had beef and broccoli, spicy pineapple basil fried rice, spring rolls and edamame. The edamame was so fresh and perfectly cooked! All so good! 5/5
The food is absolutely delicious. I will be frequently visiting with my family. We tried the Chase bowls which are too die for.
Great spot for a cafe like experience with Asian fusion. Thai tea was great, loved the interior, and the staff was friendly. I ordered the Tom kha soup on a cold day and it wasn’t the best I had but still overall great. The bao buns were tasty though the size of the buns and portion of 2 was small. I would visit again to try other items
New favorite Thai restaurant on the side of town. I had drunken noodle and it was oh so flavorful! Ordered two more dishes to go because it was so good. Will be back!
Insanely delicious!!!!!
This place has so many delicious dishes, including the tofu fries and all the make your own bowls! I was in a hurry to return to work during lunch and forgot that I had ordered the mango pudding- thankfully they reminded me right before I rushed out. I enjoyed the coconut mango pudding right after work, and gosh it was the perfect end to a busy day!
Food was hot and good. Will go back again.
This place is amazing! I have tried several items from here and have not been disappointed.
This is nasty 😭
Fresh, fast and delicious.
Healthy, big portion size, great tasting rice bowl
Love this place! We visit everytime we go to Dallas.
Love the jazz music they play during dinner.
Classic milk tea is really good. Chasu is cantonese style - Love it!
Try the orange chicken
I have NO idea how I hadn't left a review for this place yet. Maybe it's because I come here so often when I'm in a hurry for good food unfortunately 😅😂
Chasu Kitchen is one of THE BEST places to go for a reasonably priced, delicious bite of Asian food in Plano. Period. Their service is always on point, and I have NEVER had an issue. The restaurant is also always clean! I've been a loyal customer for over two years, and am sad I will only be able to enjoy their food when I come back into town (just moved). I recommend you try their Spicy Ramen, Spicy Pineapple Basil Fried Rice, and Pad Thai. Shrimp rolls from the Appetizer menu are delicious as well. Their milk tea drinks are very consistent with flavor too-could stand some more sugar, but the boba is always perfectly cooked.
Overall, this place is a solid A+ for me. There is no restaurant that will be perfect, but this is very close for me. Oh yeah..enjoy the Chinese street vibes too!
Excellent Asian fusion cuisine. And fantastic service. Love everything they do. Give it a try!
The best food I’ve had since moving here! Loved it! Don’t think twice about trying it
AMAZING food in a cool atmosphere. Who told all the fast casual restaurants around that boring simple decor was enough? This place is decorated like being in an outdoor Asian street market. Really fun. But the food is the big story. Very healthy and fresh veggies served with great flavored meats (my favorite is the pork) and either rice or noodles. And generous helpings. Also loved the house special wings appetizer. Oct 2022 - Years of going here and its still amazing.
Outstanding. Found this spot around the corner from my office, and it couldn’t have been better! Wife and I really enjoyed making our own bowls. We will DEFINITELY come back!
Was on vacation and this was my last place I stopped by before leaving the Dallas metro back to Oklahoma. The food was Great! Super flavorful. I honestly don't like asian fusion places but this place lives up the the current 4.8 star rating. Bahmi was met but the other dishes were bomb especially the padthai.
This little hidden hidden gem was so tasty. The ambience is great if you like street food vendor vibes. I had the Drunken noodles with chicken and a beef banh mi. The noodles were bouncy and the chicken was tender. The sandwich was perfectly toasted and the sauce was delicious. The taro milk tea was also good.
Really enjoyed this! Food was excellent and the service was great. Food came out quickly, too. I tried the Satay Chicken, which was excellent. The Bun Set was also very good.
Wish I would have found this place sooner! I had the House Rice Noodle special and it was perfect! Everything from the noodles to the chicken and shrimp was cooked perfectly and the flavors were perfectly balanced. Plus, the portion was so large I have enough left over for lunch tomorrow. I usually take orders to go, but it's so welcoming inside I had to stay. Jazz music is playing and the lights are strung around the room. I will make this a regular lunch stop!
Great food. Staff is friendly and do a brilliant job.
Nice ambience and decent food. We chose to get the BYO (Build Your Own) bowls, and there are many options for customization. We got the teriyaki chicken and beef bulgogi bowls with chasu, curry, and gochujang suace. The meat was tender, and the bowls even had kimchi and kale. They have loyalty stamps that you can collect to get free meals too, which is very nice. To be honest, our experience was more like a 4.5 because of portion size, but times are tough and the food was still good, so I'll leave a 5.
I really enjoyed the explosion of flavors!! My son got the combination fried rice and I ordered a build your own wrap. The seasoning of the meats and sauces were outstanding and the veggies were fresh and crunchy!! We also each ordered a tea and I am beyond words for how fruity and hydrating they were. The teas weren’t overly sweetened with refined sugar or syrups. The ambiance was reminiscent of the street food market in Beijing. The restaurant is warm and inviting and the food is exceptionally authentic.
Absolutely delicious food!! Everything we had was amazing. I also got a mango signature drink and it was great!! I would 100% come back! We saved the location for when we return to Dallas.
