My only disappointment was the papaya salad. First it could have been more thinly shredded and then the spices added were too hot. I think I ordered that spice level but still the taste of the salad wasn’t the best. I will surely come again to try more items from the menu.

Definitely recommend ordering it if you choose to eat at Sweet Rice. The flavor and the crispiness of the rice was absolutely perfect. The egg rolls were also delicious and the sauce it came with had a great flavor too. The pad Thai was a bit of a let down and was decent. It had a pink tinge colored sauce, which is not what I’m used to seeing, so it seemed like the sauce wasn’t house made. It was eh, and I’ve had better. Not going to order that again.

Definitely a place to try out though and I’m sure there are other great things to try on the menu.

The food is mediocre and extremely overpriced, about the worst Thai food we ever had, 60 plus for some noodles for two and a baby. We tried their pad Thai and just the smell alone like rotten eggs made us nauseous.

Guyssssssss what is happening before or around lunch time? My pad thai is a hit or miss every time around these hours. One day it has more coco or the other I’m missing tamarind/spice 🤧 If you want bomb pad thai I guess order in the afternoon/evenings- my pad thai is always consistent in the evenings.

food was good like usual! i always get the pad thai, or a fried rice but everything is pretty good. my server josh was outstanding! super nice and attentive to me. checked up on me regularly and made pleasant conversation. got all my food right to a T and was quick to give me things like chilli oil! that’s probably the best service i’ve had at this location! the atmosphere was pleasant, it’s a small place and well decorated!

I’m so glad I was told about this place! The food is fantastic, their Thai tea is out of this world. But the staff, especially Tom the guy running the place, truly makes you feel like your friends and family. I highly recommend.

My Pad Thai Had a bug in it, which killed my appetite. ( I believe thats how it would be for most of us) than the Fresh Rolls where sticking to my fingers ( I know its not supposed to be like that if its done right and fresh I have been chef for almost 11 years now). Curry had bubbles on it like it was old. Curry had no flavors and looked like curry paste mixed in water but not cooked at all.
So we decided to leave after eating one bite of everything. Now I have question should I be paying for this or not?

Our Thai food place closed in North Dallas. We had be searching for a new place. Sweet Rice was delicious ! Nice cozy affordable spot in Mansfield and Alli and Kim are total sweethearts.

The restaurant is good and tasty. My only complaint is that my fried rice didn’t have that much meat or shrimp, and not peas or carrots at all. It was a lot rice with not veggies.

Ordered from Uber Eats. We didn't get 33% of the food we ordered. I selected zero spice and got a very spicy meal covered in Chile flakes. The crispy chicken was soggy chicken.

I placed an online order for pick up with specifications of no onions and no vegetables. I picked my order up drove home and prepared to enjoy it only to find it loaded with onions and a cooked tomato. I called to let them know that the order was incorrect and asked whaty options were as I have a food allergy to onions and can not eat the meal. The young lady on the phone who said she was the manager advised that I have 14 days to return the order in order to get a refund. I explained to them that I live a little distance away from the location and it would not be feasible for me to drive back over there due to a mistake they made. It clearly states even on my ticket... No onions no vegetables. I asked if there was a way I could take a picture and send it to them if proof was what they needed. The young lady put me on hold and said she needed to go ask the "higher up" what can be done. Needless to say they never came back to the phone and I had to drive back up to the restaurant in order to get a refund ofy order that they messed up.

I know my on purchase does not mean much, however, I do feel like their response to the situation was very poor and it's unfortunate because I really do like their food. Guess I can cross this one off the list. Bummer! 😔

I ordered the fried spring rolls and the chicken lettuce wrap. The presentation of the food looked good. The spring rolls were fresh and delicious, but the chicken lettuce wrap was awful, the chicken tasted old, and had a funny after taste. I couldn't eat it at all. Money wasted.

Food mush is the best way to describe it. I can't remember having a worse dish of pad thai, but it's possible that I have. Over cooked noodles, that had to be helped along with sauce from our crab rangoon and still not worth much after that.
The duck fat fried rice surprisingly lacked flavor as well, which was doubly surprising since I ordered it with a 4/5 spice level, and it still managed to be bland even with the duck fat and spice. Crab rangoon was fine

Wife called up the next day (food was that bad) and was told we'd be given a credit to try something else. Only to be told no on the credit when I tried to use it. I'd need to drive back out there (30 min away) with the bad food to receive credit. I can't email or text you a picture of my receipt? Who keeps s#itt¥ thai food around for 3-4 days?

This place has ALWAYS has the best selection! It's rare to find an establishment that literally every item on the menu is good. Make sure to ask what is in your food before ordering so that you get exactly what you want and have the knowledge of what you are getting. The staff is highly professional, attentive and Kim and, among others, deserves every tip they get! My favorite is the Pad Woo Sen with the glass noodles and Thai Tea. Visit this place for lunch and dinner. You will not regret it.

Went and ate in I Got Orange Chicken with White Rice it was good def had sweet flavor. Wife got Chicken And rice egg rolls Only downside was my food wasn’t hot. I’d go back though waitress was super nice. Place was cool and clean.

First time. I got the Thom Kah with shrimp (spice level 3) and the Thai Spicy Basil with chicken (spice level 3). The soup was delicious!! It was not spicy at all to me so next time I will have to try it at a 5 spice level. The mango sticky rice was fantastic!!! I will be back and try some other menu items. Customer service FANTASTIC !!!

We love this modest restaurant. The food is very traditional Lao and Thai. The service is great. The owner is so friendly. They will make is very spicy when you ask. Which we love. They also have dishes we do not find at other Thai/Laos restaurants. One of the only one we have found fermented pork. The Nam Khao is fantastic. So is the Lao Spicy Sausage.

This is a small restaurant that you can get both table service or orders to go. The table service was excellent. The meals were both huge and delicious. The 3 of us started with pork egg rolls and a vegetable lettuce wrap. Then shared orange beef, tofu pad thai with chicken and herbed chicken fried rice. The orange beef had a delicious orangey flavor. The pad thai sauce was spicy and a little sweet and is now my new favorite. The herbed chicken in the fried rice had a delicious crispy coating on it. We really enjoyed them all. And the dishes were all so large that there was plenty to take home for later.

Yummy soups and curry. The atmosphere is more of a casual place so not date night material but enjoyable just the same.

Only 2 people were working the front of the restaurant, so service was kinda slow waiting on check and to-go boxes for leftovers, but food came out at a decent time and was DELICIOUS!!! Will definitely be coming back and recommending to our Thai food loving friends.

The food is progressively inedible… use to love this place when it first opened. The kitchen staff have made worse and worse food. Last 3 times have been disgusting. Done giving this place tries.

Let me start off by saying i have been here a few times and each time there is something wrong. Well, tonight was my last time. We went for dinner and it was HORRIBLE. We ordered appetizers that NEVER came. Our dinner came out first. It was barely warm, and our veggies were still frozen. The waiter said our spring rolls would be out soon. He never came back to check with us. He went and sat with other staff members while they ate and was on his phone. He NEVER came back to ask anything or with our spring rolls. As we got done with the food, another waitress came and asked if we were ready for the check. We asked her to cancel the spring rolls as they were still not out. She came back and said, "Here you go, and I took the spring rolls off." I was so shocked by her tone. Come on! I am sorry, but you didn't do us any favors! We didn't get the appetizers, and we are now done with dinner. So rather than being apologetic and actually doing something nice to make up for it. She didn't charge us!! I wouldn't recommend this place. You're better off getting frozen dinners.

I go to the Sweet Rice up in Dallas by Lovefield when I go to work. It's good up there with good portions and flavorful fresh food. I figured the quality would be consistent as this location here given it's a franchise but boy was I wrong. Curry fried rice was very dry as well as the crispy pork riblets (my favorite little snack to get usually), the duck fat fried rice barely had any flavor to it. Usually that item is super flavorful, but here it just kind of tasted like bland fried rice...not to mention I want to say these are almost half of the portions I was expecting. Pad thai was also pretty flavorless. My party was super disappointed and I was flustered - I suggested we try it because the Dallas location is good, but this is just embarrassing! And all of it ended up being $80 of disappointment.

Every experience has been awesome for me with this place. I love the food here. I judge food by how I feel afterwards, and I always feel good after eating here.

They have gluten free options, choice of spicy level. Not all dishes are stand outs, sauces are a little thin. Serving sizes are pretty big

Excellent yellow curry tofu. Went with a “3” on the heat level, and it did not disappoint. Would definitely return to sample more of their vegan options. For the carnivores, there are equally many options. Everybody eats.

I recently visited Sweet Rice Thai Place, and I had a great dining experience. The staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming, making us feel right at home. I ordered the Pad Thai, and it was absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors. The service was quick and efficient, which was a plus. The best part was the spice level; I chose level 3, and it was just right for me. I would have given it 5 stars, but there's always room for improvement. I'll definitely be returning for more of that tasty Pad Thai

The food is not as good as it used to be! Food is dry and over cooked. It’s almost as if they are cooking it way too fast and it definitely affects the taste of the food. I used to be a regular as in I would eat here at least twice a week but now well…. It is what it is!

I picked up a Pad Thai order to go. The flavor was good and just the right amount of spice, I ordered #3 spice, however the Noodles were somewhat dry.
I will give them another try before counting them out.

The meat on the chicken skewers was very dry. The pad Thai was ok, but I've had better elsewhere. The portions here were small. We were still hungry when we left and had to raid the refrigerator once we got home to get full. The service was the best thing about this place. Our server was very attentive throughout the meal and she went above and beyond to provide great service. Unfortunately, we won't be going back to this restaurant when we're wanting Thai food.

Just ate at Sweet Rice for the first time. The food was outstanding, especially the green curry. The service was exceptional. Our waiter was full of personality and knew the fine details of each dish. The owner was kind and welcoming. When we asked him what made his food special, he said it is cooked with a lot of feeling! This place has great potential. They make you choose a spice range from 1-5. I played it safe and picked 2. However, after leaving and having my food on the go, it was way too spicy for me. I couldn't even eat it, more less enjoy it. I'm not sure how they can gauge the worlds taste buds on rating on a 1-5 scale. Considering a 2 was horrible for me im not even sure I could do a one so I could give them another shot.

I came across this place off of broad while going to an appointment one day. I decided to try it for lunch, and it was fantastic. I had the pineapple curry. It looks like a fast-casual, but if you are eating in, they will seat you and serve you at the table. The service was fantastic, and the food was great. Will definitely be going back.

The food was mostly edible but just wasnt very flavorful. My husband got a soup that was fine but bland and my daughter got the egg on the kids menu which was fine. I got the beef jerky which was bland and the rice I got I believe was undercooked. Probably should have complained while I was there but we were tired.

First time writing a review on a restaurant. I have visited this establishment several times and decided to try their Pad Thai during a work lunch yesterday. The Pad Thai was terribly sweet unlike any I’ve tried before. I told my server and he graciously offered to remake it or to prepare something else, and adding that they had a new chef. I opted on a different dish. He took my plate and brought the new dish out, which I enjoyed. When he brought the bill out he was visibly embarrassed and explained that the “owner” had told him to leave both dishes on the check and “see if she will pay for them both”. I was confused because I did not eat the first dish, I couldn’t it was terrible and they took it back to the kitchen. Our waiter was apologetic and when I explained that I didn’t think it was fair to pay for both dishes he went back to the owner and was told to ask me to pay for half. We went back and forth again with the poor server serving as the middle man and ultimately I paid because I had to go back to work. The “owner” stood about 20 feet away from our table never once approaching us, instead he had this very sweet and young server do his dirty work. I will never be back to this shady establishment nor will I be recommending or taking my colleagues like I have for the past almost 2 years.

I normally don’t do review’s especially bad ones because its fairly easy to satisfy me. My family & I come here all the time and the food is always great. Came yesterday excited to eat my favorite Thai dish only to find all sorts of things in my food. Plastic, hair and only God know what the other thing is. I’m highly disappointed and will be very surprised if i come back again.

This was my second time trying this place. I wanted to give it a second chance. The first time we visited the food was terribly sweet. This time I tried what I thought was a safer option and got the broccoli beef. It was incredibly salty. I even asked for it to be remade and that wasn’t any better. I don’t see the same quality or consistency that I see at the Dallas location.

The fried rice combo is very good! And the front desk clerk is also very polite!

This place is awesome!!! Customer service was top tier! Bella was an outstanding server and the food was delicious!! I am vegan but my husband is not and they made adjustments to my dish with no problems!!

They are not worthy of a one rating. My husband and I ordered a dish that was supposed to have tangy sweet sauce in it and it tasted like ketchup and sugar 🤢 they both was terrible. We will never eat there again. I have been there about three times and each time the food wasn't worth it. The dinning room are was extremely 🥶❄️. Just not a good fit for us.

A wide variety of delicious Thai meals, everything we have tried so far is selicious. They are very willing to fix any issues with your meals or omissions in take out orders. As with any Thai restaurant, be sure you 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 want the higher levels of spice.

Got the yellow chicken curry 😋😋😋, so good, so flavorful, bold. Definitely a fave and will be back

I’m here in Mansfield for work and was in the mood for Thai food. This place came up. I though I would try it. OMGGGG!!! It was amazing!! I couldn’t decide to order the Pad Thai or the Thai Spicy Basil… sooo the customer oriented hosted suggested I add the veggies from the Thai Spicy Basil dish to the Pad Thai, I asked her if it could be a bit saucy AND BAMMMMM!! The chef/owner came to check on me and asked if I liked it. I let him know it was one of the best Thai dishes I’ve had!! The mango sweet sticky rice was also incredibly delicious. You probably can’t tell the quality of food from the shopping center location, but DON’T LET THAT FOOL YOU. Give this place a try!!

I would have liked to give this place a 5 star review. The food was good the service was great but unfortunately my food was not hot but barely warm. I’ll try it again sometime and hopefully I can change the reviews.

The food that my family ordered was great! My Curry tasted like dish water. The absolute worst curry that I have ever had in over 30 years. I definitely would not recommend that dish!!!!!

I've tried a few of the curries and the egg rolls and they're all really good. Kim T was our server on our most recent visit and she did an awesome job. She was friendly and attentive without being annoying, which can be a delicate balance. Overall good food and service, so we'll be back.

The food here is great. I enjoyed everything I ate. I had the seafood fried rice, the mango sticky rice and the wings. The wings were okay they were a bit dry, the rice was not really seasoned and could use some soy sauce but the mango sticky rice was top tier!! My daughter has the yellow curry with white rice and she loved it, the white rice serving aaa a bit small but the yellow was very good. I’ll be back for more mango Sticky rice and to try other dishes

For a local Thai restaurant you cannot beat this place. Very good food ans great service.

Just discovered this place recently and have eaten there twice. Very satisfied both times. Good Thai food. Get you some.

As far as takeout goes, this place is fantastic. Walked in, ordered and left with food in about 15 minutes. For $13 I got a much larger portion of curry than I do at my normal $15 place. It was still incredibly hot as I ate it at home 30 minutes later and very delicious. I got a 4 out of 5 on spice level so I wish that it was a bit spicier than it is, but still fantastic. As far as dining in, it was cold and I can’t say it would be really comfortable - but I don’t know. Getting takeout is a great option though!

Best Lao-Thai food in Mansfield. Fried rice, noodles, and curry were all good.

They have a great Thai tea and fantastic food! Prices are average with other restaurants serving similar food and everyone’s always friendly. Also they have sticky rice as a menu item.

Went two days in a row it was so good. The staff are great too.

Gave two burnt overcooked portions of rice with less than half full curry. These guys aren’t consistent at all

The consistency here is not great. I was giving them another chance today, and after seeing the lettuce they served for “lettuce wraps” I’m done.

Great curry and quick service

I was very happy with my experience. I went midday and was greeted immediately when I walked in. The employees were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere has a cafe vibe so very casual but the food was great! I ordered take out and it my order was ready in 10 minutes but was still hot when I got back home. I ordered the panang curry and the cashew chicken. Both were delicious and I would recommend. I am going to come back and try the other dishes since I want to try more Thai food. Great lowkey spot!

The food is very good and use to come here every friday with my lady but the portions have just gotten smaller and smaller for their basil beef so we havent been here in a while but the young ppl in here are very customer service focused and location is always very clean.

I went for the first time with my mother this week and she told me about this place and I am going back for the second time this week!

The food is fresh and so flavorful, the customer service is amazing and not to mention the prices to affordable!

Lots this place. I had the yellow curry spice level 2. Perfect! I gobbled down the curry and loved every bite. Not too busy either and he sat right down and was sourced by a lady that said she’s been working there for a 1.5 years. Good service. Excellent price. Will go again!

The one star is because the food is actually good, however the rest of the experience is not. Each time I go here the order is wrong in some way. Just today I drove to the restaurant and placed a to go order. The order was taken correctly however it was not made correctly. I quickly checked my food before I left and it looked correct. When I got home I noticed it was spicy and I asked for no spice. It was about 30 minutes before close and I called and explained what was wrong and asked if I could come in to have it corrected and they said yes. I drive all the way there ( I do not live close) but made it before close and they said the kitchen was closed and could not help me. The person that answered the phone said they did not know who would tell me that. So now I have to make another trip tomorrow in hopes there will be no issues. I’m not pleased to say the least.

The Pad Thai looked like they poured beet juice over it. I've never seen pinkish Pad Thai. I'm not sure what it tasted like. The fried rice and Tom Kha soup were ok. No need to give details of my experience with Thai food over the last 5 decades but I won't go back.

If you’re a vegetarian, DO NOT EAT HERE. I ordered vegetarian egg rolls and what I received contained pork. I have been a vegetarian for over 5 years and luckily I realized after one bite that it contained meat. I wouldn’t risk coming here if you’re a vegetarian and don’t want to accidentally ingest meat. My meal wasn’t even comped afterwards.

I love Thai and Vietnamese food... This was NOT it tonight. I got Pad Thai and Yellow Curry. It is ironic that this place is called "sweet rice" because both dishes were so sweet. My Pad Thai tasted only of sugar and the noodles were falling apart they were so over cooked. The curry was very watery like a soup. Curry soup is one thing but most of the time you know you're getting a soup... And it was very sweet. :( this bums me out. It had 4.7 on uber.
