We have tried so many other California rolls from other places and NOTHING compares to Lava Grill. Lettuce wraps are also really good. We have had several menu items over the years we have been coming here and everything is always so fresh and tasty. We used to live really close but we moved to Argyle almost 2 years ago. There is NO place like Lava Grill anywhere close to Argyle so we drive over 30 minutes just to get our Lava Grill fix. Love, love, love this place. We will always come back.

I went through 1700 dollars of recites for last month. At lava grill. I returned home from working out of town and our family restaurant is no more. There's several spaces empty and from reading the other reviews this space will be empty as well. I don't mind dropping 400 bucks a pop for dinner lunch whatever. Got news for you. I will never come back and I will never spend 600 bucks for birthday party. Or dinner lunches for business purposes. I'd find another place. Like we have. Lots of other places to spend your hard earned pay and treats for your family and loved ones. Just dropped a 1000 bucks somewhere else.

The soup was chicken broth, no flavor. The salad was old lettuce from a bag it seemed, brown and old, the dressing was so bad. Not that of a sushi restaurant dressing. The flavor of the steak, there was no flavor. Sushi was sub-par. Pad Thai had a weird taste to it, like a spoiled taste. Did not even eat. The pricing has become ridiculously high. Will not be returning.

It was a good place, we walked in and were seated right away. They brought our drinks out quick, and then the chef came out soon after. The food was really good, I got shrimp with double vegetable. The taste of everything was really good! Enjoyed it, definitely will be going back next time we have a hankering for hibachi!

The food was fresh & so damn good. I just loved the salmon 😋😍 The cook for our hibachi was so nice man. He treated me & my husband so well and he even gave some extra food compliments. Nice service. Would love to go here again.

The bright colors inside provide great energy for the dining experience. The food was beautifully designed on plates. My family loved each of the sushi rolls and soft crab ordered. I had the pineapple rice with white meat chicken and cashews. I liked the rice dish. Did not "love" it because it was a bit too vinagary for me. But my husband ordered same one to go and he enjoyed it later at home. Bathrooms we're clean and we'll supplied. Restaurant was nicely kept and clean as well. 3 sushi chefs on staff to handle orders. And our smiley server who did a great job keeping our dinks full. Overall great experience as we fellowshiped and enjoyed listening to the hibachi grill being enjoyed by a group with lots of kids celebrating a birthday. Fun times!

1st visit, sat at sushi bar. Albert was great and very friendly. Prices comparable to area but rolls were small in diameter than I have had. Cucumber salad was simple but delicious.

The food was good, but the service was slow. Seems like it needs to be cleaned... a little funky... also added 18% gratuity... I would have ripped more of they didn't do that, but if you make up your own tip, that's all you get.

This was the worst Bulgogi I ever had in my life. They had off brand soy sauce, my fork had something green on it , they don’t have kimchi they served it with miso soup and salad with thousand island dressing and the lettuce was old. I wanted too leave when I seen my food it was unseasoned very dry complete trash waste of time and money honestly

Volcano roll was one of the best I've had and the pad Thai tasted authentic.

I use to come here all the time and never had a problem up until last week. I use to sit at the hibachi area by myself and relax while taking to the chef and now they told me they don't do hibachi for one person. They said I can still order hibachi style but sit in dining area. If they can still do hibachi style why not let the person sit at grill. Anyways will not go back again

OK, so me and my friend go here almost every week and it literally hits so hard. There's never been a bad experience. Everyone here is kind helpful and attentive. We love the chefs. The fish is always fresh and clean. Staff is immaculate. You have to come here.

Favorite place ever! I love the food so much. The service is usually a 10/10, but obviously, sometimes you will have that one person who doesn’t seem to be good. That’s normal for most/all restaurants though.

Even though I don't live in the area, when visiting, we go here. Food is always wonderful and the staff is very friendly. The volcano bowl is a favorite.

My favorite place in euless! I love their California rolls and spicy tuna roll. I highly recommend the red curry, its literally my favorite food at this point! Their service is great the atmosphere is nice too!

I've been to a lot of sushi/ hibachi grill restaurants. I have been going to lava grill for about 18 years now. They have hands down the best fried rice and the best employees.

My daughter wants to come here every year for her birthday. She turned 24 in February and as usual Lava Grill made for a fun filled very tasty experience. Everyone from the greeter to the waiter and especially the grill master were very attentive and kept us taken care of!

Greeted with hot towel which is a nice touch that a lot of places are skipping. Cucumber salad was provided which seemed a bit wilted/old. Seaweed salad was excellent and so was the crunchy tuna roll.

I’ve been going to this place for almost 10 years and I can’t think of a single bad experience! I’ve had a lot of the menu items and everything always tastes great and fresh. The people who work here are wonderful as well. Highly recommend you check it out!

Service and food is good but the prices were marked higher than the quality provided.

I placed an order for pick up and paid for it. 5 minutes later I get a email stating my order was cancelled. Tried to call the number listed and no answer. Who cancelled the order because it was not me. Hard to support when you have bad customer service.

Excellent. Everything from the Thai tea to the desert was absolutely stunning. Service was great, food was great, atmosphere was great. I would highly recommend. They even have a sit in hibachi. This is a win in my book and I've had alot of excellent food.

This place has been here for 20ish years for a reason. Good sushi, good rice plates, and good drinks.

Super nice experience on a Wednesday night to honor my daughters birthday. I've been here a few times since fish dishes aren't my 1st choice. So I had chicken and fried rice and they were spectacular. We sat at the grill for the floor show which gets loud at times but is fun to watch. My Granddaughter is NOT
A fan of the fire display. Service was beyond top notch as none of our party of 6 wanted for anything...ever. The experience is pricy. Our group had a tab of over $160 before the tip. But for occasional gatherings it can't be beat. Just make sure you're prepared for the "landing". This is my daughters favorite restaurant so it was worth it all to see her so happy. The furnishings are a bit dated and besides the hibachi grill I didn't really catch an oriental vibe. But then again, I'm no expert and I was there to enjoy my family's company. Can you really put a grade on that?

I've been to many different sushi places and absolutely nothing compares to this. every single time I'm here I know I will be greeted and seated in a timely manner. My food is always perfect. I don't think I will ever find a place as delicious as this.

We often come here for the hibachi. It’s delicious and not nearly as long of a wait as Benihana. Last time we ordered some sushi because we arrived too early for hibachi. The service was rather slow. Multiple wrong items were brought to our table. The server also refilled my husbands sprite cup with water. Maybe it was just a bad day to come but I do recommend going for the hibachi!

It really offers all different types of Asian food which is great for a large party looking for options.

Everything was nice. One of the shrimp tempura we ordered had a fruitfly in it. Cept for that, the rest of the food was gorgeous 🙌 one of the best crab rangoon!

I have gone to this place several times! Absolutely love it. The chefs are extremely talented and the atmosphere is authentically asian-styled. For someone with an eating-disorder, I was afraid I wouldn't like their food but they helped me to branch out and broaden my horizons. Now I wish I could eat their food every day! Everyone is so nice, and I will continue to go here for as long as possible.

Lava Grill is our go-to Hibachi spot. The food is always amazing, as is the service. It is definitely one of our favorite treats and makes for a fun date night. If you want to be seated right away, I would highly recommend calling ahead for the hibachi tables.

Sweet & sour Salmon, cucumber wrap roll, mango sweet rice - all were excellent, as was service. Recommended.

I got the Pad Thai noodle dish with added shrimp, bell pepper and broccoli. It's got stir fried pad Thai with egg, vegetables, and crushed peanuts in a thin light sauce. It was so good. Exactly what I was craving. I got it to go at the bar. The woman working was so friendly and helpful. She answered my questions about menu items and she shared her top recommendations of her favorite menu items, so I have some ideas to try next time. They have a lot of selection - many items from various types of Asian cuisine. This was my first time so I can only speak to what I ordered but it was very satisfying and the service was great.
If you have time and are going to dine in, the hibachi table/bar looked really good - fresh hot stir fried foods on the grill. If you are ordering to-go then you order from the menu.

We love lava grill for sushi, entrees, and hibachi. Butterfly kiss is a great no-rice option. Fav dishes are pepper Beef and green curry. Our son has a seafood allergy, but they will prepare hibachi separately in kitchen to avoid cross contamination.

Lava Grill food was very nasty and tasteless. Me, my husband and our 2 kids they charged us $138. None of us ate or nor finished our food. NTR for us never again

Hibachi tables not available until 5 pm. Miso soup was inedible. Salad was good, but not chopped small enough. Why would anyone tempura fry taro? Yuck! Entrees and fried rice tasted good, and the bill was really expensive. Will not be returning.

I had teriyaki chicken & fried rice. My husband had the tempura & teriyaki beef. Edamame appetizer and 2 iced teas. It was $65!!! Food was okay, waitress was useless, bus boy refilled drinks and was more attentive to us than anyone. Total waste of money! Will not be back.

Lava and MK’s are the better places to get sushi from on Grubhub. MK’s takes the cake though. Lava takes too long to prepare the sushi and often the driver cancels and you have to wait for another driver to pick up the order. MK’s is fast and efficient. Overall in taste I think MK’s has it and MK’s is slightly less cost.

Large family get together, food was great and service perfect. Waitress was very quick with everything and doublechecked all orders.

Where to begin. This place had all my coworkers sick after eating here. It was something about the Hibachi that just did not agree. Started with nausea and ended with many people going home sick. Just be mindful of your food being cooked. Also, they charged my boss 3 times.

This place exceeded my expectation.

We had John as our chef and he was extremely personable as well as entertaining. The food was cooked exactly how we wanted and with some interesting flair. The drinks and appetizer from the sushi bar were also excellent. We will be back and would recommend Lava for any Japanese style cuisine.

My fiance and I love this place. The food is amazing. Always have leftovers; I've eaten it 2 days later and it still tasted just as good as it did the first night. We usually get a California roll and it's delicious. Potstickers are good too. They are open late which we appreciate since my fiance doesn't get off until 8. Alot of places kept their COVID hours and close at 9 so it's nice to have a place that stays open till 10.

It was a rough night for our waitress. I understand it being Friday and being in the weeds, but she was forgetting things left and right. I waited 15 minutes into the meal to again request the drink I ordered, she took my order and even after repeating it to her it was wrong when it came out, our sushi order was taken and it never came. The family next to us requested their son's rice three times and it was not until they got their cheque to leave that it came out. The picture I included shows the neglect of the owner. I would hate to be the patron who bit down into a metal shard.

Honestly, this is was a really disappointing experience. My sister used to work here and it was one of our favorite places to eat. I get that Covid did a number on a lot of places, but $20 to replace broken cooking utensils should be a priority. Also, they used soy sauce instead of teriyaki in their chow mein rendering it a salty miscarriage of asian cuisine. We will probably give it another shot in the future, but quality and service took a nasty hit.

Our first visit but we've been to many hibachis. We enjoyed our chef. Food was delicious. Portions were nice. Prices were reasonable. Restroom was clean. We were impressed with how clean the cook areas were.

The service was pleasant. Unfortunately the food was below sub par.

I did not enjoy a single thing I ordered.
Crab Rangoon - entirely too big for traditional rangoons and the sweet chili sauce was hot & watery
Fried pork belly - more like chicharron were really small Ave fried super hard. It was more fat pieces than meat which made it extremely unpleasant
Pineapple fried rice - literally DRY and flavorless. You could tell it was reheated and cooked more than once.

I left unsatisfied by the food and lack of customer service.

My waitress asked me what was wrong. I informed her of everything. after leaving she returned back 10 minutes later and said her manager told her to only take off the crab Rangoons.

Came in for dinner with a friend. Love hibatchi restaurants! Ginger dressing was a little mayo/ketchup tasting. The portions are ways generous at hibatchi and this was the same. Wish the chicken had teriyaki sauce on though. Overall great time!

I have been coming here for years and it’s hands down my favorite place for sushi and sashimi. The staff is consistently attentive and friendly, but the real star is the food. Generous cuts of always fresh fish. They have some great combinations and always a wonderful presentation.

You might be suspect of a sushi place in a strip mall in Euless, but you CAN’T go wrong here. There is no way they would have lasted as long as they have without delivering a top notch product consistently year over year.

Great food, the lemonade smoothie with fresh mint was out of this world. Chicken shawarma was very tender, not dry at all. Best Mediterranean food in the area. Our server Sam was very very good, had great menu suggestions, and even had a special treat for us since it was our first time at the restaurant.
