Authentic Thai cuisine situated in the heart of Savannah. Our vast menu uses only the freshest of ingredients all prepared in house. Come and enjoy our food in downtown Savannah with indoor and outdoor seating, or order for delivery or pickup.
We had a quick lunch here on Sunday. The red curry I had was great. Not as spicy as I'd like but still rich in flavors, probably a bit heavy on the coconut milk. The Tom Yun Goong soup was slightly disappointing. The presentation wasn't as vibrant and clean as I usually had, but more importantly the sourness tasted more like vinegar rather than lemongrass or citrus.
Ended up at this small, cute Asian restaurant on Thanksgiving because it was the only spot open, and honestly, their food was surprisingly good! But the funniest part? While you’re eating, you get this unexpected "view" a cemetery! 😂 Definitely not what I had in mind while enjoying my meal, imagining my future and all, but I still loved the food. Would definitely go back… maybe just not for the view! Or just find another table nexttime 🤣
Cute small Thai restaurant right by several park squares. The food was very good and not too saucy, with all items (pad see ewe, pad kee mao, and papaya salad) being excellently prepared with good ingredients. Service was very good, and it was nice to have indoor and outdoor sidewalk seating options.
Came here while walking down to the riverfront during a holiday weekend. Great food and service! Had the Basil Crispy Pork and Thai Pink Lime Soda; both were new to me (even though I’ve had a lot of Thai food in my life), and both were delicious. The wait staff is quick and answered all of my questions. Not packed with customers, and I’m not sure why! I had an enjoyable experience here.
Delicious food and wonderful staff! We were visiting Savannah and felt like we should stop in one of the New American/Southern places.. but we saw how busy PJ Thai was on a Sunday around 8 PM, and thought we should check it out. Pad thai and yellow curry were so flavorful. They give you great portions, only wish we could have ate it all!
In my 20 years of travel, I’ve never experienced Thai food as exceptional as what PJ Thai offers. Their Pad Thai is flawless, with the perfect balance of savory, sweet, and tangy flavors. The Yellow Curry is rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced, while the Steak Beef Salad is a refreshing and flavorful combination of tender beef, crisp greens, and a tangy dressing.
The standout for me, though, was the Lime Crispy Chicken – it’s crispy, zesty, and utterly delicious. The attention to detail and freshness in every dish is unmatched.
Combine this with the warm, welcoming service and cozy atmosphere, and you’ve got a must-visit spot in Savannah. I’ve been coming here for YEARS and it’s always my favorite place to eat. PJ Thai has set the gold standard for Thai cuisine. Five stars!
best mango sticky rice!!!
Wonderful beef pho. My friends got drunken noodles and pad Thai and really enjoyed their meals, too. We sat outside at night for dinner and our server was so sweet and efficient. So glad we stopped here!
Absolutely delicious and very friendly service!
Best Thai food in Savannah!!!
Best pad thai I’ve ever had!

Best Thai in town. Fantastic service and food is perfect. Only negative is the restaurant is rather small and sometimes temperature of the building varies (sometimes to cold or to hot). Absolutely should try this place.
Food is some of the best Asian Thai food in Savannah. Food always hot and good.
This was the best Thai food I have had.
Crispy pork is perfect! Spice, just right.
If you like curry, get their yellow curry. I got the massaman and my boyfriend got the yellow. They were both great. But the yellow was actually amazing. Tom Yum soup was amazing, it’s a wonderful sweet and sour soup. It was so good, we ordered two of them. Thanks PJ Thai, & our server Arya.
We stopped here for a bite after the hearse tour and it was great! We had a soup and some fried rice. The service was great and would love to come back to try an entree. Worth checking out. Fast, affordable and open until 10 pm.
My wife and I found the food top notch and the service was excellent. We highly recommend it!
Best Thai dinner we've had in DECADES
We loved PJs and would go again! We tried several stir fries which were our favorites, although the salads and curries are good too. Very flavorful food and good service.
Excellent food and service!

In my opinion the best in town we have tried all the other nothing compares plus the entire staff is always amazing when dining inside
My friends and I had mixed reviews
Biggest takeaway is that the food was yummy but we’ve all had better of the same dishes elsewhere
Highlight of the meal: the pineapple fried rice yielded a 4.98 star rating out of my friend who is very specific with their taste.
My other friend with a high spice tolerance asked for the spiciest level of drunken noodle they could provide and was left disappointed at the low level of heat.
Dependably good. We will be back
I love PJs Thai! It’s not a looker for sure and service can be hit or miss. The food however is ALWAYS amazing! We look forward to our meal every time we go we’ve been going for years and it’s one of our favorite Thai spots in the area! It’s easy to pass by, stop by and give it a shot, you won’t regret it!
Food is good the only point is thry use chicken broth instead of chicken for Chicken basil fried rice
Best Thai restaurant Ive ever been to
Absolutely delicious! Looks like a hole in the wall, and totally worth the visit. The food was fresh and delicious, and the portion size was great - plenty of leftovers to take home! I enjoyed the Chicken Egg Roll, Pad Thai and Thai Tea.
Great food and friendly service
Stopped here in vacation. Staff are great and the food is fabulous. We had the chicken pineapple curried fried rice. Love it so much we made sure to stop back by again on our way home.
Food and drinks were delicious! Can't wait to return.
This was the best Thai food we’ve ever eaten. The food was flavorful, hot, and fast. The waitress was very nice and the service was great.
I saw them using the rag they had used to wipe the table to wipe the dishes that were about to be served.(every single dish)
Update/replying : I saw the lady wipe the desk then with the same rag she wipe the dish, I know what I saw.
I drove through the beautiful town of Savannah. Stopped for a pick up meal at PJ’s. The service was nice for a short interaction.
Food:
Restaurants need to understand there a lot of people like myself that enjoy cooking and understand what quality food is and how it’s prepared. The biggest disrespect as a customer is ordering food and being served reheated dishes.
I order 5 of 5 spicy, the food was 1.5 at best. But the dead give away that I was served reheated food was temperature some parts cool and others hotter. Also when Pad Kee Mao is freshly prepared what should be succulent flavors initially do not allow noodles to stick together like tape to paper.
Shame! Do better.

Service was very good, and it was nice to have indoor and outdoor sidewalk seating options.
Best Thai food I’ve ever had. I’ve tried several places and this one beats all of them. I had the drunken noodles and the spice level 3 was perfect. I can’t wait to become a regular here.
Delicious food and wonderful staff! hands down best thai food in savannah!
This friendly, unassuming spot turns out to have some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had.
Hands down the best Thai food you will find in Savannah.
Ended up at this small, cute Asian restaurant on Thanksgiving because it was the only spot open, and honestly, their food was surprisingly good! But the funniest part? I came here twice, the food really remind me of Thailand. You should try Thai Ginger Salad, Bangkok duck, Pad Thai.
Got there around 715pm this evening (8/25/24) but it was closed and the sign on the door said that it would be closed from 8/25-8/28/24. Very disappointed.
Great service and amazing food! Flavor was delicious, can’t wait to try again and taste some more of the menu offerings!
Oh em gee..this hidden gem was EVERYTHING. I'm almost afraid to give this place stellar reviews for fear of it becoming so popular that the authenticity and flavorful food would decline from increased demand! You can smell the aromatics as you walk up to the place. It is nice and quaint when you walk in..we ordered wings, basil Crispy rolls, and fried dumplings for appetizer. Each DELIVERED. I had yellow curry...kids had chicken pho..let me tell you their chicken was so tender in that pho! Something that seems like it should be a natural occurrence but the first where I was like..."okay!!"..my kids usually don't eat the chicken from any pho restaurant because it's usually too tough or dry..they devoured it..and the broth was very flavorful...the yellow curry..back to the yellow curry..I didn't want to stop eating..let's just say that. My husband got the drunken noodle and it also wad good. Yes I taste tested everyone's food lol. He had some spicd and there was a nice kick..the vegetables were nicely flavored...wow. we drove far, and you all did not disappoint. We WILL be back.
PJs has the best Pad Thai of my life! I always crave it. They have the best staff too!
Food and service is exceptional, small place but worth the wait for great flavors of Thai curries, my favorite wat Roti, Satay and salmon. Becareful with spice level for drunken noodles they make extremely hot. Thai ice tea and beer was perfect with fish and chicken.
Came here while walking down to the riverfront during a holiday weekend. Great food and service! It was an Honor to eat at this Veteran owned business, food amazing, service amazing a pleasant surprise. Definitely worth the time . As a Veteran and Chef i take great pride in what i do . This restaurant is a reflection of excellence. Thank you
I live in Bluffton about 15 min from Talmage Bridge. I've only had delivery but the food is so fantastic I will definitely make the drive to eat there. The food comes quickly and is always still warm. There's so much flavor!! I'm addicted. Best Thai I've had in the area!!
An intimate setting suitable for couples or small gatherings of up to four individuals. Both indoor and outdoor seating options are available.
The fried dumplings are highly recommended as an appetizer. To avoid crowds, it is advisable to visit during lunchtime if you happen to be in Savannah.
Came here in May with my wife for dinner. Awesome food and cocktails were perfect. Just came here again for a quick lunch while here for work. Thai Tea and pepper steak entree. Another win. Thank you for lunch! Will come back in the future.
This place is a gem. Great location as well as authentic food for a reasonable price. I stop in several times a month and enjoy good conversations with the staff. They are super friendly. Seems like really good people.
Savannah is so lucky to have PJ Thai - The food is always amazing and the people are the best, welcoming, thoughtful and lovely!
Been home for 2 weeks...I wish this was local to me. Craving their Tom Yum
I just had my best Thai food in years here. Flavor explosion in your mouth. I have literally forgotten how good Thai could taste. Not to mention the portions are huge. I’m already excited for my leftovers tomorrow. Thank you for a great experience with my family.
Great quality Thai food, a little sweeter than I expected
Love this place! The food and service are both delightful. The Tom Kha was some of the best we've ever had, and our group thoroughly enjoyed our experience here ♡
Best food in Savannah
Timings are totally wrong .. after we walk 1 mile they said they are closed.
One of the best Thai places in Savannah, affordable, great menu and taste!
I had one of the duck entrées and it was probably one of the top 10 things I have ever put in pie hole
The food was amazing!!!! I really post reviews, however when the food is this good, I felt compelled to... 10 out of 10
Amazing! Thai tea is probably the best I’ve had since being in Thailand! Satay was delicious too! Staff was very friendly and quick as well!
Great veg options! Try the Tom Kha!
This place was amazing! You might be uncertain about the prices, but you get a lot of food that also tastes amazing. So the price is definitely worth it. The waitresses are very nice and we were served quickly. Definitely want to come here again some day if I ever visit Savannah again!
my first job was on tybee island and my manager recommended i try thai food, specifically this place. i have probably gone to over 100 thai restaurants since then as my favorite food is now yellow curry because of this restaurant. pjs is still one of the best thai restaurants i’ve been to. any friends/family i’ve brought to the restaurant feel the same towards their other dishes as well. kind of pricey but absolutely worth it! my favorite restaurant in savannah
Great
Thai vibe with yummy food and with lots of of vegetarian option
GET THE ROTI!
Some of the best food in Savannah! Whether its the lunch or dinner menu, you can count on it being stellar. Just be sure you know what you want, once an orders placed you can't change it apparantly!
This was our first time in savannah and we stopped at PJ thai for our first meal. A small spot with incredible food. We got pad thai and seaseme chicken that was some of the best thai I've had and great service. Do yourself a favor and eat here!
Excellent food and very nice staff
PJ Thai has great service and phenomenal food.
The food had amazing flavor and fresh ingredients.
We will definitely eat there again.
Best soup ever I've eaten it 2 nights in a row while visiting from out of town. The orange chicken and the egg rolls were awesome as well. Def a popular spot
We stopped here after striking out for vegetarian options near by and I’m so glad my husband found this gem!!
The service was great as the hostess greeted us and our server promptly brought us water and took our appetizer order while giving us time to decide what we wanted.
I got the panang (red) curry with fried tofu, and asked them to omit the pineapples… it was PHENOMENAL! My husband had the pad see ew with chicken and says it was good… he’s a little bit particular when it comes to that dish and he wouldn’t be against eating it again so take what you will about that one.
Over all it was a nice intimate place for us to grab lunch on a rainy day. And I’d like to come back if I’m in the area again.
Came here because of the high rating ordered chicken skewer, dumplings and shrimp roll. Dumplings were good except for the camouflaged burned and empty 1 that when we got owners attention was replaced. Never received the shrimp roll. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT Would highly NOT recommend 😕
I was at PJ Thai on Sunday April 28th. I had the Crispy Lime Chicken. It was absolutely delicious! The assorted vegetables were colorful and vibrant. The Chicken was crispy yet tender. I returned on Friday May 10. I had the Crispy Lime Chicken again. It was awful! It looked and tasted like it was sitting in a warmer for hours. The Chicken was tough and it only had cabbage and a couple of pieces of broccoli in it not the Assorted vegetables it was supposed to. I was very disappointed!
The Food and Service was excellant
Love the Pho Gai
So good it's the one place we had to visit twice during our stay in Savannah. One in our group said it was the best Thai she's ever had. All was delicious. A collection of outside tables were nice because the weather was so nice. We'll be sure to return on our next visit.
I was walking down the sidewalk and went right past this restaurant. I was almost a block down and could not keep going. I turned around, walked back and asked for a table outside on the sidewalk. The delicious smells were billowing out with the Savannah breeze. The green curry was AMAZING!
Old Town Savannah dining Al fresco with beautiful, colorful, and delectable food. What more could you ask for. Not only is the staff friendly but so are the patrons. Wonderful experience
Best Thai food I’ve ever had … highly recommend their green curry with shrimps and their basil fried rice (no proteins veggies only) … absolutely delicious!!!
9.1 / 10
Very americanized Thai food. Food was ok.
Incredible Thai food. Got the pad see ew and it was amazing
Probably the heartiest Tom yum soup I've ever had. But surprisingly the sesame chicken might be the best in Georgia.
Server was very prompt and kind, we had two toddlers with us so we appreciate the quick service and understanding.
My husband had a cup of tom yum soup and panang curry, he enjoyed both, but especially liked the tom yum, it was very hearty. I had the sesame chicken, I know it's not Thai and super cliche but my god it was so good, by far the best I've ever had. It was so crispy and tasty, even my husband who usually prefers Thai food said my sesame chicken was his favorite out of everyone's meal. The kids enjoyed the Pad Thai, and my husband is currently enjoying the leftovers if theirs.
All in all everything was great, service was fantastic, and we were in and out quickly.
Delicious Thai food in the heart of the historic district!
Absolutely wonderful service. Highly recommend the Tom Kha soup.
Amazing!
Delicious food, quick service, and friendly staff. I recommend the green curry, it was amazing!
Best dumplings I’ve ever had! Sat outside and watched the tourists go by.
Came to PJs while on vacation and I have to say it is the best Thai food I’ve ever had hands down. Been from New York to the west coast and this little tucked away spot nailed the flavor.
Their Tom Kha soup is the perfect sour savory balance and makes the broth addicting where most people make it too think or neutral tasting.
Also the mango sticky rice is seasoned amazingly and makes you want to eat til you’re about to burst.
Also the staff is very friendly and gets you your food so quickly!
Really enjoyed their appetizers as well as their drunken noodles + fried rice!
Hands down my favorite Thai place in Savannah! Best curry around -- my favorite is the green curry with tofu. I bring friends and family here when they visit from out of town and we've never been disappointed! We always opt to eat outside, but they have indoor dining as well. My brother and I have celiac and have never had a reaction here. Highly recommend!!
Great place in Savannah to experience Thai food. Best one we had after long time. Great service and very hardworking staff.
Favorite Thai place in Savannah. Food is awesome. Try the Bangkok chicken.
Great food, good service, family owned!!!
Did not disappoint! If you're looking for some traditional Thai food this is definitely the spot!
Edit: Service was almost non-existent towards the end. Which I was fine with as the food surpassed the experience. However, we decided to get our desert to go to save any additional unnecessary time spent. Ordered mango sticky rice to go but ended up only getting sticky rice. We didn't notice until we got back to our place.
Highly recommend double checking your food before you leave. Sticky Rice isn't the same as Mango Sticky Rice. -_-
The service was so amazing! Our waiter came outside to our van to see if we were coming inside and we said yes. We went inside immediately and the table was already ready! He was absolutely awesome! The amazing thing is we were a party of 7. A man and lady sat next to us and when we got ready to pay our waiter informed us that the couple had already paid for all of our food. The food is outstanding and we will definitely visit again soon and I recommend this restaurant highly!
Although the chicken from the Bangkok meal was hard, the flavor from the dish was there.
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING 10/10 recommend ! I had the Pad Kee MAO drunken noodles level 3 SPICE ! It was sooo amazing ! I’ve always walked by and the lingering smell would draw me in but I never had time to try . I’m so glad I hit the bullet and tried it out 👌🏽😋.
Pad Thai was very flavorful, can't wait to come back!
We had the fried dumplings, Pho Chicken, and Pad See Ew, delivered with Uber Eats. The food was delicious! Definitely recommend them!
Best pad Thai ever
Some of the best Tom Kah I have ever had. Really delicious food, great service, nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
I always get pad see ew or the basil fried rice. Roti and sticky rice are excellent. Also don't forget the Thai tea and thai coffee.
Good food always go there when we go to Savanah .
We got takeout while visiting Savannah. One of the best Panang curries I’ve ever had. SO good.
Amazing food
PJ Thai has some of the best customer service I have ever experienced at a restaurant. One person in particular, Xavier, was extremely courteous, professional, and attentive the entire time my lady and I were there. He was the best!
As for the food, it was delicious! I highly recommend the Tom Kah soup they have there. Out of all the Thai restaurants I’ve been to, PJ Thai has the best Tom Kah soup I’ve ever had.
I highly recommend PJ Thai for anyone who wants an authentic Thai experience with a relaxed atmosphere and fantastic customer service!
We don't often get Thai cuisine so when we saw PJ's we had to stop in. Small restaurant that was full at a late lunch.
Service was fast, the food was superb. The menu is well marked pertaining to spicy items. The menu descriptions are accurate.
We know this isn't the food people come to Savannah for but this is well worth the stop
PJ Thai is the best Thai restaurant I've found in Savannah. Now sold on a little corner downtown, it's got outdoor seating and a glass door front to watch Savannah go by. The food is wonderful. They have a pork belly dish that is absolutely to die for. I crave it often and go back at least monthly.
Personally, one of the best Thai restaurants Savannah offers. My wife and I go regularly and try different meals. We have not been disappointed yet. Since the location is small, we like to go between 5 and 6 pm to get a table. Service is good but they can get distracted because of the many take out pick ups. Atmosphere is a simple, no frills location across from the old Cemetery downtown. The atmosphere is not the reason we go to PJ Thai. Try it to make your own decision.
FAVORITE Thai / takeout in town. Crispy lime chicken is my absolute favorite. I’ve had generally positive experiences with the staff when dining in, as well.
Excellent service and Pad Thai. Met friends there for a wonderful Sunday lunch.
Great place for casual Thai meal. The wide rice noodles with vegetables and chili sauce was delicious and a generous portion that filled me up - and a good amount of veggies mixed in.
We ordered the Pad See Ew and Massaman Curry. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. Portions were the right amount for two and the price was great! Best Massaman Curry I have ever had.
We eat here all the time. The best Thai food we’ve found anywhere, and we just got back from Thailand! It’s not fancy, but the staff are very personable and it’s far enough off the beaten track that there’s usually no or very little wait. Highly recommended!
Pen and paper is not the way to have a waiting list in 2023.
We walked in around 6:15p Saturday 11/11/2023.. two people were sat immediately.
A gentleman took our number and told us twenty minutes. In the meantime, we walked to Collin’s quarters, ordered two cocktails, drank them there, and then walked back. Upon arrival, we were told 20 minutes again.
The food is consistently delicious so we were ok with waiting, but we had 2 parties sat in front of our face due to size. With the “system” y’all utilize, pen and paper, there should be no preference to table size (2 versus 4) and it should be FCFS seating.
Your bar area and cushioned seats near restrooms are under utilized. All in all, the Thai food is phenomenal, the service is normally A1; however, tonight, after 1 hour of waiting we walked two blocks to fire street food, got sat immediately, and were served food within 10 minutes of being sat.
Pen and paper is not the route. If we are allowed to walk away, make sure we actually get called in the correct order.. Get one singular-hostess and one singular bus-boy.. way too chaotic and your waiting area/front entrance/to-go order section is not suitable for your amount foot traffic.
Disappointed tonight and very unacceptable..
So happy I stopped in here. Orange chicken is amazing!!! Really nice workers too.
Have been here each time I come to Savannah, and it gets better each time.
Flavorful, great choices, and great service. Worth a stop!
Ordered 4 things for takeout. Pad Thai and pad kee mao were a little too greasy but the curry was great!
Very good. Was slow but really good.
PJ's is excellent. Anna, the owner, makes all the sauces, and the staff such as Xavier are excellent. This is truly one of Savannah's hidden gems! The crispy lime chicken is excellent.
When the fried rice arrived it was ok, but was not necessarily worth the hour long wait.
it had such a chill atmosphere, the food looked very neat and was delicious! the server was super kind, will definitely go again
I was feeling under the weather with a sour stomach and decided to doordash two of my favorite comfort foods: Tom Kha and Mango Sticky Rice. I had never had PJ's Thai before, but they were the only Thai place that had both items on their menu, so I figured, "What the hell, let's try it."
My food arrived very quickly and was absolutely delicious. The Tom Kha was loaded up with veggies, mushrooms, and chicken, and the perfect balance of tangy and creamy. It was everything my poor stomach needed. I felt revived as I ate.
Now normally, when I order Mango Sticky Rice from the usual places, I'll be lucky to get half a mango and a scoop of rice. Not here. They don't skimp at PJ's. I think I received more Mango Sticky Rice than Tom Kha, but that's honestly perfect in my mind. The Mango Sticky Rice has such a perfectly mild sweetness and richness, and I've still got half for later.
Thanks PJ's. You've made my day and my stomach much better.
I had a cup of Tom Kah soup and it was THE BEST soup I have ever had! The flavors were the most interesting, complex mix and perfectly balanced. The vegetables were cooked just enough to retain firmness and texture and the flavors really came through. The fresh herbs and lemon flavors were striking. I enjoyed this so much I plan to go back tomorrow or the next day. I seriously doubt any other cuisine can offer a soup that will top this one for me. I have to say also: the staff was very accommodating and pleasant. We didn’t realize they closed at 8:30 and arrived around that time. They didn’t hesitate to serve us and were in no rush. I hope others will try this small business. This was real food prepared with care and attention!
Staff was friendly and food was great!
