I really liked the food and the atmosphere. I was neatly decorated with fun designs and plants. The food had so much flavor, and everything tasted fresh. I think most dishes can be made vegan or vegetarian. We ordered tofu, and it was so good with all our meals, and the fresh rolls with tofu are a must try. Our waitress recommended Boba and helped me decide what I would like the best. It was amazing.
My wife and I were driving thru and stopped for lunch we had the dumplings, cx sate, Tom yum soup, eggplant, and cx pad Thai. Very big menu so was a little sceptable, but Everything was delicious!!! And my wife is Vietnamese.
I thought it was a red flag when the menu was so vast with Vietnamese, Thai, Korean corndog and even Italian desserts on the menu since it often suggests quality control issues and reheating ready made products. My suspicion was confirmed when our dishes were served and they looked NOTHING like they do in the menu. Pork belly stew in the picture was sliced and braised but what we received were few clumps of meat(didn’t even look like pork belly) that wasn’t fresh floating in watery soup (not stew). Pad see ew also lacked flavor and was just very peppery. I wasn’t expecting the food to be authentic with the restaurant being in MJ, but I was at least expecting food that was fresh and appropriately seasoned. Also, it was lunch time on a weekend but the restaurant had only two servers. They were clearly trying their best but I still had to wave them down to refill our drinks. Lastly, everything was overpriced for both the portion and quality of the food. We love supporting local businesses but would not return here again.
Good food. Ordered takeout from them for several times now. Good service too.
Update 12Sep2022:
We ate lunch inside the restaurant on a Monday at about 1pm. It wasn't too busy. Nice place. Good ambiance. We ordered steamed dumplings and pho back rib. Great food at Great price.
This is our go to best food and lots of non dairy selections in Mt Juliet! We have eaten here for a couple years now always so fresh and great! My favorites are the curries and Bahn Mi my wife’s are the fried rice dishes. And they have the best desert in town as well the sticky rice mango which is also non dairy. ❤️❤️
Absolutely delicious!! Best I've had in this area. I've gotten the Panang Curry multiple times and have never been disappointed.
Im a Vegetetian and sometimes its difficult to find good food options. I ordered fresh veggie rolls and i just loved them! Most places just put a ton of noodles in it and it turns out pretty plain. This place had a variety of fresh veggies inside and the rolls were pretty well portioned. As a main meal I ordered their veggie pho. Broth was absolutely delicious and had so many veggies. I loved that the veggies were fresh and uncooked-I think thats what really makes the difference and provides you with most nutrients. Also the place itself was really nice. Ton of seating and the live plants really set the atmosphere. Staff was friendly and seemed to really want to make sure I enjoyed the meal. Will certainly recommend for others to come and check the place out.

The lady working there was so nice and had amazing service the boba is great and highly recommend going there
I love their pho. Food and service is always good
Honesty I come here all the time but probably won’t after today. Awful service and food. Server was annoyed to clean a booth for us, and the management was also rude.
This was so amazing!! Pregnant over here and I got extra onions and broccoli. They absolutely nailed it . Food is so good!! Highly recommend

I was so disappointed. I got the spring rolls, crab rangoons, Korean corn dog and salad (weird combo, I know, I’m pregnant). The shrimp in the spring rolls has so much poop in them, I made sure to deconstruct them and throw the shrimp out. Complete black strips just lining the shrimp. Not to mention this bag was soaking wet (idk either) and everything fell out of the paper bag. The crab rangoons had a decent taste but were freezing. I hope to have a better experience next time but right now, I can’t stop thinking about shrimp poo.
Nice little Vietnamese/Thai restaurant. The food was very tasty. When you order how hot you want your food to be on a scale of 1-5. Kick it down 1 because it can get really spicy.
Pretty good place for decent Vietnamese cuisine. Their banh mi’s are average but definitely affordable. Enjoyed their new corn dogs but wish they were less expensive.

So we went in menu is so big. The lo mein was blah with crispy pork that was not crispy. My big thing was they added a 20 percent gratuity didn't tell us then added another when we signed. This seems shady to me. We were 5 plus toddler so add the gratuity if you want to we always over tip so they shorted themselves. Then wanted us to tip on top again it's ridiculous. Never will we return.
This is my favorite Asian in the area. I love the red curry, fried rice, and many of the noodle dishes. The staff is friendly.
Portion sizes change and taste different everytime I order. Needless to say, Its always delicious! I anticipate eating here often. The owner is amazing and staff is very nice.
$23 for beef pho combo and only one meatball.
I really enjoy the pho here. Very authentic and filling.
I just did a to go order from here. We got three very different meals. This is our first visit and I’m in immediate love. Everything was fresh and delicious. I’m definitely planning to go back soon 😊
Food was good and only fave it 4 star because it was authentic kao piek was more like vietnamese banh canh but still good and the worker are amazing people
I placed an order , and my card was charged. a total of $91.41 restaurant stole my money was charged on my card and didn't receive my refund. Haven't received any food. Very displeased disappointed. They were closing, and she could have returned my money.
Absolutely the best food around. Our goto place!
Surprisingly really good
Usually like this place but ordered online. 12 on a Sunday, business says it's open. Turns out it's not open and nothing to prevent you from placing an order. Out 25 dollars. Yay.
Don't mind businesses closing for the weekend but at least close the online ordering too?
The Pho here is really good
I give this business 0 stars. DO NOT PAY WITH CARD THEY STEAL EXTRA TIPS OFF YOUR CARD AND ACT LIKE THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT. I ate here with my family. Paid for food on card tipped cash. I wake up next day and see they took a tip off my card for $20 I call they act like they don't know what I'm talking about and say that they can't do anything since I left my receipt on the table (which they should have the copy I signed due to that's how they know how much tip to take out) even the manager MiMi gives no sympathy saying its not their fault. Had to dispute with my bank. I do not recommend eating here unless u pay cash completely!
The waitresses on the lunch shift have a poor attitude with customers and lack basic customer service skills. Additionally, the menu prices are not accurate compared to what they charge you on the bill (10%-20% markup), yet this is not clearly disclosed on the menu. You can find better Thai food with the attitude elsewhere in Mount Juliet.
My husband came to pick up order, and someone forgot to make the drinks. It is not problem, just frustrated when both of the waitress keep asking again and again what is the drink when my husband already answer, or they could check again the ticket. Finally we got the drinks without sorry or apology, just leave the drink on table and walked away.
Best Peking Duck Pho in middle tn.
While the atmosphere is tropical typical of a take out style fast food eatery, it is nice and comfy and rather nice inside. Quiet, with soft music playing there is a small jungle of house tropical plants everywhere inside that make it cozy inside. I placed a pick up order promised to me to be ready by 7:15pm, I was there on time and…..waited! I didn’t order anything off menu or complicated and was only 2 menu items and 2 bobas. My order was not ready until 7:34pm. It was not busy inside, 7pm on a Thursday night?! And don’t get me started on the portion size for the money! Ridiculous! I spent almost $50 bucks for this meal. This is my first time eating there and needless to say, I will not be back. I am sure they have their favorite customers and good for them, but I will not be one of them.
Never have I ever thought that I have to pay for food to be spicy. They asked how spicy you want I said Really spicy, charged me one dollar. Then asked for lemon as pho did not come with lemon. Gave me 2 quarters of lime charged me 0.75 each total $1.50. Felt like place is really cheap. No wonder in Friday night it was dead. Feel like this Asian family is really cheap. And I say that as an Asian myself.
Delicious food! Crab fried rice is soooo good. My daughter had chicken teriyaki, my husband had Pad See Ew and we also had chicken satay and miso soup and bubble tea. If you don’t like spicy I would recommend no spice or only a one. First time we went I ordered level two and it was way too much for me.
My fiancée and I both agreed that this was the best orange chicken we have ever had. The orange chicken had the perfect crispiness in every bite and the sauce was very flavorful.
The food and service is always absolutely amazing!!! I Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves great food.
I ordered through DoorDash a little over a week ago. I ordered the Vietnamese egg rolls and crispy pork pad thai. The egg rolls were amazing. The pad Thai was lacking in flavor. But overall good.
I just ordered from Uber eats and decided to get the egg rolls again since I loved them so much, as well as a side order of egg lo mein and crab rangoons.
1’st the lo mein was $8.50 through DoorDash so I was expecting a decent portion. As you can see in the picture it was hardly anything. A rip off for sure and the noodles were flavorless and oily. Couldn’t even eat them.
2nd the egg rolls.. they are meant to come with lettuce, cucumber, noodles, peanuts and fish sauce. In my bag was 2 little tiny egg rolls and a little cup of fish sauce. I was so upset seeing this because I was expecting the same thing I had gotten previously.. so disappointing..
3rd the crab rangoons were fine, nothing special.
I don’t plan to order delivery through here again.
Service was meh. We were seated and then took about 5-10 min for a sever to take our order. Two people came in and sat down behind us and their order was taken right away. The pho was okay but over priced.
Love the layout of the place but wouldn’t go out of my way to drive the 30-45 min to eat there. Maybe if the service was a bit better….
I went to this restaurant for dining in before, it was ok. This time, I ordered chicken pho online to pick up for $16. I ONLY got a few pieces of chicken, little green onions and very little rice noodles, which is like a kid meal. They also didn’t separate the noodles and soups like other restaurants. It made my meal look more awful and even the taste is not like a REGULAR pho.I feel super disappointed, I had no idea why the pho doesn’t come with any sides? Like sprouts stuff. The price is absolutely RIDICULOUS for the food’s quality. NEVER gonna come back!!
The food is always fresh and delicious! Love Yummy Pho Bac!
Loved everything we had. Delicious.
Asian cuisine at it's finest. Courteous staff willing and able to answer all questions, even how to use chop sticks. A must try if you seek quality Asian dining.
I absolutely love it here! Great pho soup very friendly fast service and absolutely loved the potato Korean corn dog this is my only to go place when I’m craving pho!
Good food friendly employees but always understaffed and longer wait times then necessary
They overcharge my card and said they would fixed it and they never did so now I have to dispute it with my bank
Love the homemade pho broth and the family that runs the place is wonderful!
My girlfriend is vietnamese. She grew up with authentic viet cuisine all her life cooked by her grandfather up until she moved to Tennessee. Yummy Pho Bac has been such a great spot for her to satisfy her authentic vietnamese food itch. We both love coming here and expanding my taste buds with Vietnamese food.
The food was delicious and the vibes were so nice. Definitely coming back.
Over priced I will never come back,, the food tastes bad we paid 140 it’s crazy I don’t recommend this place
Food was ok server forgot about us over priced
Im a Vegetetian and sometimes its difficult to find good food options. I ordered fresh veggie rolls and i just loved them! Most places just put a ton of noodles in it and it turns out pretty plain. Sweet, family run place! The owner is delightful, and the food is delicious!
This place made it to my no-go list and that's not easy to do. My wife and I left after waiting 20 minutes for someone to take our drink order without success. Wasn't just us. I had plenty of time to survey the place and there were A LOT of unhappy faces. But not a server to be found. On our way out, the couple at three next table commended us on making a smart move. They had been waiting to pay their bill the entire time we were there. According to them, this was more common than not. Apparently, the food was good enough to bring them back, though. I can't speak to the quality of the food, but I can say this is definitely the way NOT to run a restaurant.
EDIT 07/10/23: Learned call-ahead carryout is the way to go here. Food is excellent which earned a 2 star bump-up from me. Prices are a bit on the high side, though. Haven't tried to dine-in since that original bad experience. Fool me once and all that.
I had the special pho, not a lot of meat for the price you pay. Lots of soup and little ingredients. For what was there it tasted good. The restaurant smelled funny as well., would come back if I was reallllly craving some pho but will not be the first option.
Tried the Pho Tai and beef shank! Both were delicious, broth was everything. Salty, savory, just perfect 👌. The beef shank reminded me of the beef in my mom's soups. Really enjoyed my punch, most definitely need another bowl.
Was glad to have found this place with great vegetarian options. Yummy soup! Will go back!
Great Pho!!
Bun thit , beef. It was delicious. The server was very kind. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Ordered the Pho Ox Tail large for a $5.00 up charge and it only came with two small pieces. For $23 they can definitely do better than that.
This restaurant caught our eye as we drove past looking for someplace different for dinner. The won ton soup was large and very tasteful. My main meal was served quickly but my husband had finished his soup and salad and we had to ask if they forgot his main dish order. The server was absent any sign of personality and apparently had no idea what artificial sweeteners were that I had requested for my iced tea. He never checked back to see if we needed anything, and he is the reason I gave this review four stars instead of five. A different server brought our food and we were delighted that she seemed more interested in her job.
5 min to order 2 hour waiting will never come back eat again
The food and service was great. It's my favorite place to go get Thai food and boba. The waitress with purple hair definitely deserves a raise.
Excellent pho, good service, and a quiet atmosphere. Have been coming back since it opened, and it never disappoints. 👍👍
Ordered pad Thai, beef combo pho, and 4 egg rolls and it cost over $70. The real icing on the cake though is that I paid $25 for pho with meatballs and beef in it. The pho broth had 1 meatball cut in half and huge pieces of fat and tons of tripe instead of actual meat. See picture. As an Asian woman who has ate pho my whole life at home and from various restaurants...this was not good pho.
Was very excited to try this place by the food was a bit disappointing. Orange chicken orders were very small, soup was bland and sandwich didn’t have much flavor. Might try again but not what I was hoping.
First time tried out this place, what a ripped off place😡ridiculous price and ridiculous portions. taste nasty, had better Thai food and better price. Will definitely won't be back!
Loved it!
여행 가는길에 잠시 들린 음식점. 맛이 좋습니다.
Pho was just okay, not the most flavorful. Shrimp spring rolls (fresh rolls) were mainly lettuce. Food was too bland for the cost unfortunately.
Can't say enough good things about this establishment! I lost some of my belongings at Yummy Pho Bac and the ownership went above and beyond to make sure that I received them back safely! The food is amazing, the customer service even better and totally affordable! Highly recommend!
This is my go-to pho spot in MJ. The broth is the best in town!
Great atmosphere but the food was the worst I’ve ever tasted
Primera vez que vine
Muy atentos, sabrosa comida
I really liked the food and the atmosphere. I was neatly decorated with fun designs and plants. The food had so much flavor, and everything tasted fresh. I think most dishes can be made vegan or vegetarian. We ordered tofu, and it was so good with all our meals, and the fresh rolls with tofu are a must try. Our waitress recommended Boba and helped me decide what I would like the best. It was amazing.
Great food and wonderful service :-)
This place is always a big gamble and this time it was the worst! This is an orange chicken entree portion. 🥴 We paid 16.75 for this. Do not order from this place. (Applesauce cup shown for scale lol) The pricing is absolutely insane for what you get across the board. We got chicken soup, this chicken dish and some egg rolls and it was just under $50 without tip! There are much better places in the area. ✌🏻 especially for take out. We won’t be ordering or dining here again.
The best in the area!
I was actually surprised how wonderful the food was!!! It was the best Thai/Vietnamese food I've ever had and the crab Rangoon was off the charts!! I will go back again! My husband originally didn't want to go, but he fell in love with the place!!!!
Reviewing it on my previous Thai Food experience from other restaurants
Ordered
**Crab Rangoon - taste was average(tried better one’s before in many other Thai places)
*Fried Calamari - not good at all good, it was undercooked
*Pad Thai - it was okay, ordered extra shrimp with this which was served cold !
Overall not good for me - I have had better Thai food at other places.
Food is tasty. I remember why it's been 2 years since I've been back. It is expensive.
Absolutely delicious! The ingredients are fresh and tasty. Service is top notch. Very clean and esthetically pleasing environment.
Great food great family environment
******warning prices are $1-3 different on each item than what was listed in the menu*** We were not told prices would be different and they were not marked. I literally had to argue and show them menu prices. Our ticket was $14 more than it should have been! They were going to only give me $8 of it back and acted like that was a favor!*****This place was tasty. Very small portions except soups were right size. Service was ok. The waitress tried to be sarcastic but really came across rude. Food came out in a timely manner.
Don't bother ordering pickup.
Ordered once through Grubhub to try it, then became a repeat customer. Everything is always excellent. Definitely recommend!
This place was surprisingly charming. Ordered some miso soup, fried tofu, garlic edamame, vegetable pho and duck pho. Loved every bit of it! Definitely going back. Kind and attentive staff as well.
Prices on the menu don’t match prices reflected on receipts. Over charged by $70. No waitress no refills no napkins. Some food was cold, and no correction of overcharging us was ever made. Manager pretended she couldn’t understand. Also Was charged a $23 gratuity fee that we weren’t even aware of for a party of 3 and two children!!! Mediocre food for an upscale price absolutely awful treatment and basically robbery of payingn customers! Will never go here and again.
Amazing food! Definitely my new go-to!
Customer of this restaurant and have gone at least five times. Consistent. Authentic Pho / Curry and Noodles. Pad Thai is excellent and have been happy every time. Very happy that this place is so close and we have a great Asian restaurant run by Asian's in Mt Juliet.
Excellent
Tastes like Chinese😞
Food is amazing and service is always good. By far my favorite place to get Thai food. Such a fun place too! We had an awesome waitress who had fun joking with my table.
So very fresh! The shrimp spring rolls were amazing.
Super tasty
Great Vietnamese dishes: fresh, light, delicious, and amazing.....thank you!
Went to try this place out because it was close to our home. It had a vegan option for Pho. My wife and I were excited. We ordered their thai tea with coconut milk which was awesome! The waiter was friendly and we loved the atmosphere. When the pho came out it didn't have the aroma of pho, knowing this, we still decided to give it a try because this was our first meal of the day and we were hungry. I tasted it and instantly knew it was a wonton soup flavor. My wife, who is not a picky eater at all, only tried a few bites to give it a try still disappointed that it wasn't pho. When it came to the bill, I spoke with our waiter and mentioned that my wife didn't like her meal. the owner nor the waiter did not agree to remove my wife's dish of the bill. They didn't try to make something different or make it right. My wife left hungry.
The worst Peking Duck I’ve ever had. Skin was rubber like and Duck was not heated all the way through. The rice was not even warm, I would NOT recommend this restaurant. The only thing good was the wait staff.
I ordered homade beef jerky / bao / fried calamari / tari masou / seafood pho
Really good food!
We tried this place on a whim and have been back several times. Nice decor, great food, sweet staff. Yummy is right!
Friendly, nice atmosphere, but my first time order to try, was horrible, sadly. And usually I want a restaurant to succeed, because its so difficult to please the public. Problem? A dish containing pork, should actually have more than three tiny pieces of pork. And NOT a pile of bone chips that i piled up in a mound. Very confusing why you would send THAT out as a representation of your abilities. Lets load the order up with plenty of noodles, maybe they won’t notice? Go to Saigon Basil, or Smiley Thai instead.
We thought the food was bland, we both had the milky tea, my wife said it was okay I thought it didnt have much taste. My wife had soup with beef an I had rice with shrimp. We ordered two appetizers and dessert. The milky tea was $8 each. The waitress recommended the tea and I didnt ask the price. Our bill was $87 a little high on price. The waitress was very nice, the restaurant was clean.
The Pad Thai is delicious
My husband and I legitimately LOVE this place! We live in Nashville but drive half an hour there every week! Every single dish we have tried is phenomenal! Our goal is to try every dish there… if you love Asian food, please try this place!
WOW!! Very good food, presented well, atmosphere is so calm & comforting as well as very clean……We will frequent this restaurant….
If I could give no star I would. My shrimp and pho was undercooked and I asked for garlic on the side but the server did not write that for the chefs. So when my pho came out I tried to eat it regardless but the soup had no flavor what’s so ever. When I told the server to take it back that I didn’t like it. She brought out the owner/manager and had claimed I had finished the pho when I didnt. I asked them to look at the cameras and they still proceeded to charge me full price. If I end up having food poisoning, I know where I got it from.
Beautifully prepared Vietnamese food. The Bánh Cuốn (rice flour rolls stuffed with minced pork), and Cá Kho Tộ (caramelized fish) are the best I've ever tasted.
Love the food. 😎😎
Best Pho in the area hands down
Have gotten takeout from here several times, and while service has typically been mediocre, this time it was absolutely horrible. Not one of the three employees acknowledged me when I walked in, and when I spoke up, the woman seemingly in charge just looked at me with a blank stare. All three were totally confused and lacked any social or communication skills. Took and hour and a half to get my very simple order, and they were not terribly busy…and seemed fully staffed in both front and back of house. Forgot the bubble tea on my order, and when I did get it, it had no tapioca in it. Food was not great. I love Vietnamese food, but I will not go back to this place.
Very good food and friendly staff. Best boba tea in Mount Juliet! Wide variety of food on the menu too!
Delicious, friendly, charming atmosphere, large selection
I got a sandwich and a thai tea. The bread was really fresh. total was almost $17. Seemed like a big difference from the $4.95 a year ago. Sandwich was def good but $10-11 good…not quite sure. In any case, someone should really update the google maps menu/prices.
Worst bubble drink I ever had I got some kind of bugs inside drink. They are really careless towards customer. When I ask for refund they ignores me and left from desk.
The food here is amazing and the bubble tea is probably the best in the area. My only complaint is the music they play is absolutely horrible. They have an old TV with terrible quality speakers on high playing piano music, weird covers, or some other church type music and it really kills the whole vibe that you would expect from a similar establishment. The only reason I don’t go here more often is I dread listening to the music selection.
The Red Curry Dinner with Chicken was AMAZING! Can't wait to try other dishes in the future!
Visiting from Dallas where there is a large selection of Vietnamese and Thai food. Ordered the gyoza and combination beef pho. We liked both! Would come back. They have an extensive menu. Slightly pricey, but we understand they’re only one of a few Vietnamese restaurants in the immediate area. Thank you again for being so understanding with that last minute to-go order!
I ordered to go and open up they missing egg roll and they're over charges for sauce but that not the point! I call them and told they missing my egg roll have to come with food. They let's me waiting for asking someone in the kitchen and came back told me the guy said he didn't forgot and she told me to go get just one egg roll! What are they thinking! Want me drive for 30 minutes to go get just one egg roll seriously!!! They should say sorry to customer! I very upset for this restaurant not go to eat again!
Excellent food, lots of options Thai, Viet, pho choices galore, and bubble tea! Folks are great at helping select. Recommend all of it!
One of my new favorite restaurants. I lived in Vietnam and this place is legit. I had the Banh Mi, a Vietnamese sandwich unlike anything else you have ever tried. I also had the Panang Curry, which was perfect.
Great atmosphere. large variety of choices. which meant the menu was packed. Bubble teas was amazing.
The decor and vibe are fun. I ordered the Bho Kho (beef stew)...hoping that it would be like the stuff I use to get at Vinh-Long back in the day when I worked at Dell. Unfortunately, although it was pretty good, it was not as good as I've had, and was surprisingly more expensive than what I've paid for better elsewhere. Regardless, the staff was pleasant, and I've only tried 1 dish from them so far, so to be fair, I'll give them a 4 instead of a 3. I will likely return and try a different dish next time. 👍
Love the food and the staff is very nice
So so so good! They're always so nice and the food is flavorful and always hot. The tofu is always crispy and seasoned well too
