This is a nice hibachi style restaurant , they are located seconds off the highway and pretty much smack dab in the middle of RI . The inside is really nice , it’s very stylish and fancy in appearance. The bar is huge , so there is plenty of room for those who like to sit at the bar , and the hibachi area matches the rest of the restaurant . The service was great , server was attentive , and the hibachi chef was entertaining . They are all about “Saki” here . The menu has a lot to offer , from good apps , to sushi and entrees . The hibachi food itself was good but not great . I feel like as hibachi goes , portions are typically large , and here , it seemed to be stretched thin between our party. But maybe that’s how they do it here . I think I’d stick with the sushi 🍣, next time around . I have higher then normal standards , but when your paying over $100 for a bill for 2 people , I expect the meal to match the price. It fell a little short in that regard. But the over all experience was not to bad .

Place is awesome. Their hibachi plates come with some flavor and not 50 servings of sodium and butter, like most. Great food and fun Bon. I have tried you 2 x and neither time have you disappointed. Your waitress is great and spunky and fun! Love having her. The hibachi chefs are great tooo and funny and still make a great performance. I love the extra Saki too! Can't wait for our next visit. And for those wondering. Clean bathrooms and well ventilated. 2 keys for a Hibachi Grill!

Went here for lunch with some family that swore this place had the best sushi around and they were right! Everything was perfect. We ordered the Spicy Gyoza for an app, along with Wonton Soup and sushi on a slice of apple, and of course Crab Rangoons. For our main courses, we had the Summer Delight (?) sushi along with the Tiger sushi. Others in our party had General Tso's Chicken and Lo Mein. The next time we're in the area we will definitely know where to stop in for sushi!!

Went today with my aunt and had an amazing time!!! Our server was nice and knowledgeable and the hibachi show was amazing and so fun!! I believe he said his name was Chen, he was very funny and talented!!!!

The Bon Mai Tai and crab Rangoon were pretty good.

Will never order from this again. Placed online order at 11:20am, arrived at 12:20pm to be informed they had not started my order. I requested a refund onsite was told the manager would call it in and would not refund me right then there!! After frustaration I said fine make it and I will have someone else pick it up. I was told 10 - 15 min, I called again to make sure it was done. Again told 10 or 15 min. Never again do not order online

Bon is always on point. Great hibachi and sushi. I think they have some of the best crab rangoon around. The gyoza is also excellent. The sushi is always very fresh. The hibachi chefs always put on an amazing show. Highly recommend for any event or just a casual night out. I also frequently get take out and it is always packaged perfectly and just as delicious as when dining in.

Honestly the best hibachi both food and experience. Great portions- well made- tasty. The server was very attentive in making sure we had drinks, apps, and whatever was needed throughout the night. There was a special accommodation food wise that the chef asked once he notice the order and made sure to confirm with the person at our table throughout the steps of hibachi.
Everyone is the restaurant was very upbeat and positive and made the experience better. There was even a waiter who had an amazing voice singing to another table as he took their orders.

This is the 4th time I've been there for hibachi, and it's always a blast! The food is delicious, reasonably priced, and the show is always great fun! The chefs do a great job keeping everyone entertained! Highly recommend the filet and chicken combo!

Amazing place! The staff is wonderful and super accommodating to your needs. They took my seafood allergy seriously and are super sweet about it. Our waiter with the two-tone hair was the best!

The best Asian food and service. Friendly atmosphere. Veggies fresh and crisp. House salad is outstanding . Wasabi fresh and delicious and pickled ginger was abundant and also outstanding.

Went for my brothers birthday there was about 12 of us. When I got my food and took a bite of the steak here was a piece of glass in it and ended up cutting the roof of my mouth. I asked for the manager twice and no one came over. Upon leaving I spoke with the manager who told me he had absolutely no idea what happened cause no one told him. Was very disappointed in that.

My boyfriend and I consistently go here for dinner, but mostly do take out. Every time we go for dinner, service is prompt and not pushy. The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious!

My only suggestion would be, if you’re doing take out, to make sure they have all your sauces. If it’s not there, they’ll quickly correct it, but it’s my ONLY issue with Bon

This has to be the absolute worst sushi and hibachi I have ever had in my life. My husband and I took a few bites of our sushi and realized it tasted off and was not good. Then we got the chicken hibachi and the chicken was so awfully rubbery and the rice was hard and had NO flavor. My stomach hurts from the few bites I had. The only good thing this place has going for it was the waiter who served us and comped our hibachi dishes. 0/10 do NOT recommend!

We go here any time we want hibachi and it's always a good time. The food is excellent, the chefs are super fun and they go above and beyond for special occasions. Love this place!

Best place to go for hibatchi and sushi. Their hibatchi is always timely and also sits the most people compared to other places. The sushi is always top notch.

This is probably the worst hibachi I’ve ever had in my life. The steak was overcooked chewy and inedible. Everything else was flavorless. I left it on the bar and the bartender asked if I wanted a box and I told him that it was not good. He didn’t do anything about it and gave us the bill. Never ever again.

Our family has a lot of allergies (gluten, sesame, peanut, tree nut, egg) and this is one of the few restaurants we trust. They take such good care to make sure our food is safe and delicious. If you are like us and feel limited where you can go, go here. I’m sure they’ll take good care of you too!

It's no Shogun, no shrimp app, no sprouts, salad was awful, noodles were terrible too. Filet was good.

Sat in a few times once at the bar. The bartender/ server, a male, wasn’t that friendly or attentive to my boyfriend and I. However when I came with my coworker for lunch our female server was extremely nice. The food is always great. I always order the sushi, which is always fresh. The hibachi entrees are delicious as well. Would recommend this place.

Have gone here a few times now and the service is always spot on. The hibachi that I've always ordered has always been really good, and the portions are pretty solid, too. I ordered chicken and filet hibachi take-out, and the take out container is actually sealed and organized really well, not just thrown together like other places. The decoration inside the restaurant is pretty good too, the Koi pond they have is a really nice feature. Overall, it's a very solid restaurant with great food and friendly staff. Will definitely be coming back here a good bit.

I've placed many orders from here. They have probably messed up once on an order but other than that the food is great and is priced fairly.

Bon Asian has a dimly lit, clean, and cool atmosphere. The Hibachi chef was hilarious as well as entertaining, and the servers were also very nice and helpful. I ordered the filet and shrimp Hibachi with no rice, and extra vegetables. Overall the food was good, although it was what I usually expect from a Japanese Steakhouse.

I'm happy this is not the only hibachi spot in Rhode Island because they have capitalized on quantity over quality. If you enjoy sitting elbow to elbow with the people at the table next to you, then this is the spot to go. If you like having to yell at the people at your table in order to hear one another, then this is the place to go. We had 2 vegetarians in our party, including a child who wanted white rice with a scambled egg... the same as is used in fried rice. They would not accommodate the request. The other vegetarian asked for a tofu stir fry, and they also DENIED the request with some ridiculous excuse that the tofu was only used for their miso soup. The manager was completely dismissive. Additionally, this restaurant seems to hold a couple of hundred people and only has a 2 stall bathroom for women! One of those stalls had overflowed, and there was nasty toilet water all over the bathroom floor for some time before it was attended to. The smell was horrendous, and it required you to walk through the mess to get to the working stall. How they "attended" to it was to have a few bus boys and the dismissive manager put a "wet area" caution sign to prop the door open, which led to the smell pouring out into the hallway, right next to the sushi area. Needless to say, they have lost the business of quite a few people since our party was relatively large. Definitely NOT recommending this place!

Always a fun place To grab a meal.

I have never had an experience that was short of excellent at Bon. Whether I was there for a hibachi party or dining with my family, I have always left Bon satisfied. Their sushi is top tier. The ambiance has a spicy eastern feel to it with an active koi pond in the middle of the dining area. I highly recommend Bon for a night out.
