Diner Review №1

This is my favorite thai place. Mild still has spice but is just enough. They have kabocha squash (pumpkin) curries here which is pretty rare around here. I highly recommend this place.

Diner Review №2

The only Thai restaurant I love here in Round Rock! It’s the best!

Diner Review №3

The restaurant comes highly rated on Google maps but I've been here twice now and I just don't think it is all that good. It has an extensive menu, but food is okay at best.

Diner Review №4

Diner Review №5

Their duck curry is amazing (get it almost every weekend). They also have delicious pork belly (number 47 on the menu)

Diner Review №6

I had a disappointing experience. The food served to us was burnt, and when we brought it up, we were told it couldn't be fixed. Additionally, the customer service was poor, with no response to our concerns.
If you can see in the picture below the cashews are burnt…

Diner Review №7

Diner Review №8

Does not allow service dogs without ‘showing the card’, which they cannot legally ask for.

Diner Review №9

Superb tom yum, drunken noodles and red curry!

Diner Review №11

Cool Spot and the sever Peter was great.

Diner Review №12

Diner Review №13

It was our third time dining here! We had really good time! Tom Kha with shrimp, #6 and #47 were delicious! It’s very nice place with friendly people and amazing food! Will come back next week!

Diner Review №14

Great small place with good food and excellent service. Peter is such a great server that gave us excellent recommendations.

Diner Review №16

Diner Review №17

The food is delicious. They always check on how Spicy you would like it. Wonderful deserts. And it is all served by a great group of people. Will highly recommend this one

Diner Review №18

Wish I would of taken a picture of my food! Amazing service and most of all, one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever had. The pad kee mow was phenomenal. Will definitely be coming here way more often! It’s a hidden gem.

Diner Review №21

The best Thai food I've had in central Texas. The Gang Keo Wan was thick, not watery, loaded with meat and good veggies. Just the right spice, the way I ordered it. Gourmet Thai at fair prices. If this place was in Austin I'd eat here 3-4 times a week.

Diner Review №22

This place is unreal. Huge selection of food, all very tasty.

My wife and I had: crab legs, sushi, pork belly, dim sum, coconut shrimp, snow crab, albaloni.

They had have raw meat you can cook with a hot pot and a TON of desserts and Asian drinks. Really fun atmosphere, will bring friends here next time they visit.

Diner Review №23

So glad I tired this today! Such a cute little place…. staff was very nice and I never had to ask for anything! I don’t eat much so I think they thought I didn’t like it but it was delicious! I got the salad rolls to start the sauce was sooo yummy. Then had the #37 Pad Kra Prow added mushrooms too it! This too was delicious lil sweet and had just the right amount of spice! Had to finish off with the sticky mango rice 🤤

Diner Review №24

Diner Review №25

Diner Review №26

Everything is delicious! We had red curry and drunken noodles. So much flavor! Service is great. First time being in a restaurant where they offered to box the left overs.

Diner Review №27

Lots of vegan-friendly options for really good prices! Their veggie eggrolls had a rich flavor and were surprisingly good. The pumpkin pai (curry) was amazing and very filling. For dessert I had black rice with fresh coconut which was delicious and not too sweet. Peter was super nice! Definitely coming back here.

Diner Review №28

The food (pad thai, papaya salad's Laos style,Spring rolls, fried tofu) are bad. There were 2 waitresses stood there to chat since the restaurant was empty there except for us.We waved like crazy to get their attentions to ask for something but had to give up until there was a waiter came out from the kitchen came to help us;horrible services.

Diner Review №29

Decently priced Thai food. The selection is good, maybe the serving sizes could have been a bit larger, but overall it was a solid experience. It's packed in here and the waiter was really nice.

Diner Review №30

Diner Review №31

Diner Review №32

One of the chicken fried was not good and bad smell in the chicken.

Diner Review №33

My food is always excellent! Love this place!

Diner Review №34

Diner Review №35

Loved the place for authentic Thai food.. the spice level are for real.. don’t go beyond 3.. awesome mouthwatering food.. had Green Thai Curry.. was really tasty!

Diner Review №36

A hidden gem for quality Thai food. Several pork belly options outside of the typical Thai restaurant. The service has always been excellent over the years.

Diner Review №37

Hidden gem.

Very flavorful Thai food, one of the best in Austin area. Ambience is not much to write about but food and service are top notch.

Diner Review №38

Diner Review №39

Very delicious food. I can see why it was voted a top restaurant this year. My wife loved the Tom Kha Gai, the child had a delicious Pad Thai

Diner Review №40

This place was a great find, service was amazing. The food was amazing!

Diner Review №41

Diner Review №42

Went here on a whim craving some good Pad Thai. I was not dissappointed. The service I recieved sets the bar high for the service industry. The staff was super attentive, they kept my cup full, my food was fast, and they even boxed my left overs. The Pad Thai was the best I have had in a long time and the portions were big enough to feed a Mongolian army. Super impressed by the environment, the staff, and the food. Highly recommend. I know I will be back!

Diner Review №43

One of the best Thai Restaurants in Round Rock! I was extremely surprised at how tasty it was. I high recommend it!

Diner Review №44

Diner Review №45

Diner Review №46

This is the first place in Austin where I truly enjoyed Thai food. The taste was amazing, and the service was excellent. The staff are friendly and take the time to explain the menu, accommodate food restrictions, and offer suggestions. You can also ask them to adjust the spice level to your preference. I had the vegetarian fried rice, and it was perfect – the flavors were spot on, and the ingredients were fresh and well-cooked. I’m like, why did I not find this place earlier?

Diner Review №47

Peter is awesome! Great service, great experience and BEST Thai food in Round Rock hands down!
Highly recommend!!

Diner Review №48

The food was excellent. We tried several appetizers and a soup, curry and noodle dish. Top notch and authentic.

Diner Review №49

I’d say this is the best Thai restaurant in the Austin area. Every dish we ordered was flavorful and d incredibly delicious. Enjoyed the experience each time.

Diner Review №50

We had an awesome experience here! Food was delicious, atmosphere was calm and the service was unbeatable. Don’t leave before you try the fried bananas and ice cream.

Diner Review №51

Por el precio, no vale la pena, la Variedad de Mariscos se limita a Camarones, caracoles y snow crab en hielo, ni siquiera tienen raw oister, yo estuve en UMI en Houston y ese restaurante si es verdaderamente seafood buffer.

Diner Review №52

Pad Thai was TERRIBLE.

Diner Review №53

Diner Review №54

Best Thai restaurant in Austin/Round Rock! Highly recommend: Tom Yum and Tom Sabb.

Diner Review №55

Ordered takeout from here and the flavors and quality of the food are SO good! Will be ordering from here more often whenever I’m craving that authentic Thai taste. Hope to dine in soon! Highly recommend

Diner Review №56

Great food, awesome service. Gets very busy around lunch time ,

Diner Review №57

Please teach the front desk staff to be polite when talking to guests. Guests only ask about the food and don't be sarcastic when answering. If you don't like it, just say I can't serve you. It's easy!!

Diner Review №58

Diner Review №59

Moo ping and tom yum are very good, the dishes is very similar to restaurants I've tried in Thailand! Highly recommend.

Diner Review №60

I ordered my food ahead of time because my lunch break was short. When I arrived, they would not allow me to eat in their restaurant. They handed it to me in a paper bag with no utensils and quickly ushered me out of their near empty restaurant. I've never been so embarrassed in my life. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Diner Review №61

Very good food. Quality service and tasty options. Only problem is the restaurant is very hot inside during the summer.

Diner Review №62

Diner Review №63

Solid Thai food. Consistent food flavor and service. Restaurant design is pretty cute, too.

Diner Review №64

They took forever to bring out the food, should have been ready when I arrived for pickup but it was not, they basically started making it when I arrived, and on top of that the staff was rude and ignored me the whole time. No wonder they were completely empty.

Diner Review №65

I've been to top Thai spot in Austin like Titaya's, KHON, etc, but this place has really captured my taste buds. The pad see ew, pad prik khing, and tom yum soup were all very flavorful and made with high quality ingredients.

Diner Review №66

The tofu was cooked too much and was tough. The rest of the food was good. It is a small place and is very loud.

Diner Review №67

An absolute treat of fresh authentic Thai food that will make you feel like family. Peter is such a genuine friendly face that had exceptional recommendations, will definitely be back!!

Diner Review №68

Only have gone to lunch once so far but the food was very good. The service was attentive and knowledgeable. Also they have a good selection of meatless options in their menu. Looking forward to eating there again.

Second trip was another success. The spiciest level is just enough to bring the heat on. Perfect for me but they have a few options for the spice level to accommodate everyone.

Diner Review №69

Interesting and good food, pleasant staff. Portions are just the right size. A lot of interesting menu choices to certainly come back and try. No leftovers and not leaving hungry. Small place with an interesting wall of grass.

I would prefer if they'd go back to normal glasses rather than the small metal cups that need constant refilling.

Diner Review №70

Diner Review №71

Turned us away because they were 30 minutes to closing. I’ve never been to a restaurant that did that..they said to go only. I found it pretty rude as a customer, 5 minutes or even 15 to close I’d understand, but 30?

Diner Review №72

The food was so good. We will be back! I loved the Pad see we! My husband got the green curry, I thought the medium spicy was just right,

Diner Review №73

Green curry tasted like burt oil

Diner Review №74

Food was great

Diner Review №75

Chicken pad Thai is not bad. Overall the food is quite good. Can give it a try if you haven't. Reasonable price.

Diner Review №76

Egg fried rice, chicken wings and vegetable egg rolls. Service was fast food was good!

Diner Review №77

Diner Review №78

We all enjoyed the food and service. Excellent dishes! Will be back for more.

Diner Review №79

1 star for the poor attitude and service.

Diner Review №80

Diner Review №81

Second time here and just as impressed as the first time - maybe more! I came in with an upset tummy & Noy, our server, happily walked me through what I could keep mild. The Tom Kha was the best I've ever had in my life!!! (and I've had & made it a lot.) My hubby's water was diligently kept filled - quite rare service for many restaurants. Super highly recommend this place!

Diner Review №82

I'm a die-hard Chinese food person. But after trying Thai a few times, I have become a fan. This restaurant was clean and cozy, and the food was delicious. The service was fast and friendly.

Diner Review №83

The service wasn’t bad but the food had a weird taste to it. Even the Thai tea tasted old like it was left open in the refrigerator. I couldn’t eat anything paid for what I ordered after only taking a couple bites and left. Disappointed

Diner Review №84

Diner Review №85

Yummy authentic Thai food. Everything we ordered was really good. Happy to have found my new go to Thai restaurant in round rock! :)

Diner Review №87

Diner Review №88

Love this place

Diner Review №89

Diner Review №90

Near authentic Thai place in round rock . Ordered the khao pad kra prow fried rice with chicken . It was good and not too oily, medium spicy tasted great and food was ready in 15 min to pick up . Only thing is it is not the usual chicken fried rice, it is minced chicken and there was not much chicken . But would still give it 5 stars for the taste .

Diner Review №91

Ours was fresh, great table service. Good food!

Diner Review №92

Amazing pad see ew!!

Diner Review №93

Awesome food.

Diner Review №94

The food, atmosphere, and customer service was phenomenal! We will definitely come back!!!

Diner Review №95

Diner Review №96

Very delicious and authentic Thai food! Would love to come back, the Thai tea here is my favorite❤️

Diner Review №97

Nice little Thai restaurant. Food was good and service was very friendly.

Diner Review №98

Good food,, so tasty… yummy..

Diner Review №99

Great place to eat. If you like hot food, then you found a good place. (You can pick your level of heat.)

Diner Review №100

Very cute, small restaurant. Very friendly and attentive staff. I had never tried Thai food before, and I was very impressed. Definitely would come back here again.

Diner Review №101

They made good tom yum. Pad Thai was good. We made it to the restaurant around noon. It became crowded and busier around lunch time. They have plenty of options. Staffs were supportive but a little bit inattentive, they missed one of my orders. Anyway, not a big deal, food came quickly.

Diner Review №102

Wow,
I’ve been around the world and this is really really good.

Diner Review №103

Service in this restaurant is very disappointing. Do not recommend going there.

Diner Review №104

Food tastes great. But service is worst.

Diner Review №105

Everything we ordered was truly delicious! I recommend it 100% and it is that kind of restaurant that if you want to return

Diner Review №106

Really good food

Diner Review №107

Diner Review №108

Spent ~$18 on shrimp pad ke mao on take out. Very small portion for this price and flavor is pretty flat. Will not come back.

Diner Review №109

Great food

Diner Review №110

My favorite Thai in the Austin area. I drive the extra miles for their food. Never short on the amounts. Eaten in and to go. Love the curries, satay and larb. Asked if they could give me some peanuts for my to go larb and they did. Nice when they read the online order comments.

Diner Review №111

Delicious food, the staff is super friendly.
We willl definitely come back. 👌👏

Diner Review №112

Excellent food. Tasty and subtle.

Diner Review №113

I loved this place, and you will too. I came with my sister who is half Thai. We had their pork larb add sticky rice, chicken skewers, veggie egg roll, Pad See Ew, and #47 special pork belly with thai sauce and spices (the #47 was amazing and the main reason why I’ll be back). My sister ordered my niece an egg fried rice, add fried egg, and broccoli, (the broccoli was so good and abundant). My first time here, but will be back!!

Diner Review №114

Nicely decorated, small but still plenty of room, we really enjoyed our experience and the food is great!

Diner Review №115

We were looking to try some Asian food and that’s when we spotted this restaurant. A very small and cute Thai place. They are very welcoming and service is very good.

They have very tasty food and for appetizers we had vegetarian spring rolls and for mains I had Pad ka prow and my husband had Pad Kee Mow

I was quite impressed by their vegetarian choices. They have more vegetarian than others. The only disappointment is they add eggs to a lot of stir fry noodles which is hard because I am vegetarian but don’t eat eggs. I also found out some of their dishes have fish sauce in them. I find that very hard because when someone says vegetarian I expect them to have no fish sauce or eggs in the dishes.

The second thing is their spice levels. We told them we would like somewhere between mild and medium but we felt the dishes were way too spicy. I wonder what hot would be like. It was really spicy and we had to go and eat some ice cream. I was feeling my tongue burning due to the spice level.

If you are eating here and are vegetarian always ask if it has fish sauce. Also if you are doubtful of the spice level you can handle better go with mild.

Diner Review №116

Food is quite authentic.

Diner Review №120

Place was full on Friday night. Food is excellent. Mild spicy still packs a punch. The mango sticky rice is worth a try.

Diner Review №121

맛있게 먹었어요 숙소 앞이라 좋네요

Diner Review №122

Diner Review №123

Their red curry tofu was really good. Fried ice cream was okay. Probably wouldn’t order again.

Diner Review №124

Great place! The atmosphere lovely and very welcoming with smiling faces from the staff. My waitress was extremely kind and recommended a wonderful dish for me to try. The wait was very short even during rush hour lunch traffic. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends!

Diner Review №125

Love this place . Me and my wife visited this place. We both loved the food here lot of vegetarian and non vegetarian options. The service really good . The place looks small but it is cute but has running customers. They have 3 spice levels unlike a lot easy mild hot and the mild was kinda hot for me i could have done hot but I felt I wouldn’t have enjoyed the flavors here. Loved the flavors here . It was a rainy day so the first thing we ordered was the veggie tom yum soup and we loved it 😍. I ordered wings for appetizers and It was nice. I thought they would be spicy but they had a different flavor and it was really good had a different sweetish taste. The green curry here is the bomb and my wife ordered drunken noodles and it was good too. The only suggestion I would make at this place was mango sticky rice was really good but the felt the rice wasn’t well done and needed more coconut milk on the top 😋 the mango was soo soo good 😊.

Diner Review №126

Diner Review №127

The best Thai food I’ve ever had. The Pad See-Ew is amazing! The price is fair and the vibe is super chill.

Diner Review №136

The best Thai restaurant I have had the pleasure of visiting thus far in the Austin area. The pad Thai was amazing! You can tell they have a passion for Thai food.

Diner Review №137

This a cute small place with delicious food and great staff. I had the pumpkin curry, we also had the wings and the fried beef. Everything was great! We went right after the escape room and will be back.

Diner Review №138

Best Tom Yum Soup in town.

Diner Review №139

The curry puffs are awesome. Excellant food and waitstaff.

Diner Review №140

Very good food, and very friendly staff! Would recommend, as it’s some of the best Thai food in the area!

Diner Review №141

Spicy and delicious! Great services and many nice smiles.

Diner Review №142

Great staff. Amazing food, especially the hot pot soups. If they space a little more open, the atmosphere would have been a lot cozier. Right now, during dinner time, it feels very crammed

Diner Review №143

Diner Review №144

Diner Review №150

Our favorite Sit-Down Thai restaurant in Round Rock! I order the same thing at every Thai place, Pad See Ew with Chicken. I know it's so basic, but I love it!! It's so artfully done here. When mangoes are in season, we love splitting a mango sticky rice for dessert.

Diner Review №151

Thank you Noi for your great service. And I hope you have a successful career.

Diner Review №152

Amazing, authentic Thai food at affordable prices and above average atmosphere for a Thai restaurant. Also, great service!

Diner Review №153

Great Tom Yum soup

Diner Review №154

Fist time visit.

Typical strip-mall location, so small and not fancy.

Diner Review №155

kind staff and authentic cuisine. my thai friend showed me this place. i love the larb and thai tea. love all the spices and flavors

Diner Review №156

We’ve had dinner multiple times. Fortunate enough to have visited Thailand multiple times and the food at Ros Niyom is the real deal. Every item we’ve tried has been delicious. Staff is excellent. Limited wine list but what’s available is good and fairly priced.

Diner Review №157

Not you usual Thai restaurant. The flavors have us coming back again and again. My go to, Tom Kha, has plenty of kaffir lime leaves, galangal, and lemongrass for full yet balanced flavor profile. Or get the fried whole trout (Pla Tod Num Pla) for the addictive dipping sauce. The fish is just the bonus! Go out of your way for experience!

Diner Review №158

Kitchen stayed open as we arrived last minute.
Food was outstanding and service to match

Diner Review №159

Ros niyom thai in the food

Diner Review №160

Love this place! Ordered shrimp pad thai this time but this place has never done me wrong no matter what I order on the menu. Highly recommend!

Diner Review №161

Diner Review №162

Leaving 1 star so the owner takes notice.

My partner and I love Ros Niyom and come every time we are in Round Rock. The food and service are consistently amazing. We called ahead tonight before coming in out of courtesy for the kitchen (it was about 30 minutes before closing time). We were disappointed to learn that call-ahead for dine-in is not possible, and had to take our food to-go. This was disappointing and wasteful (could have avoided unnecessary single-use items).

Diner Review №163

Cozy little place with excellent food. Peter was amazing

Diner Review №164

An incredible place and the attention is 5 stars, I highly recommend it

Diner Review №165

Be careful of the takeout bags. They are paper and are sometimes super packed. My second order in a row had the bag break and this time the rice container popped open onto the cement. They are sturdy enough to get to my car but break when I take it out to take inside the house 5-10 min away.

Diner Review №166

Yum! So delicious and flavorful! Definitely coming back here any time I'm feeling Thai food

Diner Review №167

Diner Review №168

*Dec 2023 Update*
Somewhat disappointing experience this time around eating in. Food was a hit or a miss. We ordered 2 different curries - a miss - Red curry and Mussaman. They tasted the same - even though they are supposed to be different! And Mussaman is a classic - a disappointment! I had also requested a thicker curry and the curries turned out to be a little better than watery but not by a lot. Pad see ew was a hit. Chicken satay was ok - nothing to write home about! We were left wanting with the service - yes, wanting some water, but wanting some rice, wanting some attention! Clearly they were understaffed but it shouldn’t take a ton of effort to get service. Prices have gone up a bit as you can see from the pics but they are still quite reasonable.

*May 2023*
Decent first experience ordering takeout from this place. Watch out for how they define “medium spicy” 🌶- we eat quite spicy and even for us “medium” was spicy🌶 🌶🥵

On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being best
Food - 8
Atmosphere - 8
Value - 9
Service - 9
Will return and try eating in the restaurant next time.

Diner Review №170

My favorite Thai spot in the Austin suburbs. Peter is great and his suggestions are immaculate if you’re a foodie. It’s in my regular rotation these days.

Diner Review №171

Small restaurant next to the movie theater. Servive is really good. Food is really good as well. I can't think of anything bad to say about this place. The decor is even thoughtful. They just did a good job with a little space. Get the yellow curry. It was my favorite.

Diner Review №172

Diner Review №173

Diner Review №174

So many vegetarian options! The pumpkin red curry was delicious. It has squash in it. Hot wasn’t too spicy for me so my waitress brought extra chili paste and chili powder for me. Fried tofu and fried spring rolls were decent too!!

Diner Review №175

Diner Review №176

Ros Niyi Thai in Round Rock is an exceptional dining experience. The warm and friendly service, lovely ambiance, and authentic flavors make it a standout. The menu offers a variety of delicious Thai dishes, made with fresh ingredients. The presentation is impressive, and the drink selection is great. Try the coconut drink. We loved the Tom Kah soup as well. Combined that with the Basil fried rice. The attentive staff ensures a memorable visit. Overall, a five-star rating is well-deserved for Ros Niyi Thai. Highly recommended for a delightful Thai dining experience!

Diner Review №177

The food is amazing! Must try their deserts!

Diner Review №178

Diner Review №179

Great food. Tables are a bit close to each other when the restaurant is busy you sitting right next to other folks

Diner Review №180

This place is the the best Thai food in round rock. I had the best pad Thai I have ever had, for an affordable price (12.95 for a large serving) and the staff was very kind, and provided some of the most attentive service I have ever received at a restaurant.

This is my new go to Thai place for the foreseeable future.
