Traditional hot & spicy Thai dishes star on the menu at this renowned, laid-back spot.
Very nice dining space with great service and food. I got a black sweetened Thai iced tea and really liked it. The dumplings are a fun and paired with a great sauce, the chicken Satay was delicious and paired with and incredible peanut sauce. I got the seasoned pork’s over rice and it was perfect, large portion of deliciously spiced pork with cilantro and rice. This spot has a large menu with options for everyone that are worth a try.
I had an excellent dinner at SriPraPhai. I appreciate their very extensive vegetarian menu. The larb made with mushrooms is tangy and spicy. The crispy Chinese watercress salad is one of my favorite things on the menu. The veg. kao soy is delicious for those who like soupy curry noodles. The veg. green curry and papaya salad combo is very good and excellent value. Service is excellent. Parking lot is tight and a little hard to maneuver around.
Nicely decorated place with clean bathrooms. But the food was just ok. First of all, the menu was like a small book, too many items to look over. I had the Thai wings, the sauce was good, but the wings were not, they were the frozen nubs. I had the fried snapper, the veggie sauce on top was delicious, but the fish was fried so hard, I couldn't enjoy it.
Came here with a few friends, everyone loved their dishes. My pad Thai was a little too dry wish there was a little more sauce. Prices were great, servers were responsive and quick. Would definitely come back to try another dish!
Helpful tip: They have a discount for takeout orders if you pay in cash.
Memorable Thai food experience. A large and welcoming tablecloth restaurant with a bar and plenty of seating. Very attentive, kind and quick service. The menu is broad and it is tempting to stick to the basics which will be delivered. I was pleased with my portion size and food was authentic. Dessert is a speciality to leave room for that. A great spot for date nite; group dinner or with friends. Enjoy, make a rezzy on the weekends. Large free parking lot next door is a plus!
Authentic tai food that doesn't go wrong.

Food order didn’t come out to its standards, dishes was sent back re-cooked still noticeably the same. Very disappointing.

We've been coming to this place since it first opened in Woodside, Queens. The food has always been reliably good. We traditionally visit on Christmas Eve. Highly recommend a visit.
0 stars for food. Nice workers.
Service was a bit slow even though the restaurant was nearly empty, but the food is definitely worth the wait! Just be sure to go when you have some time to relax and enjoy a slow, leisurely meal.
Staff is polite and food is better than average.
I took food out this time, but have eaten in at Williston Park location several times... all positives at that location. I see they renovated again. 👍🏾👍🏾 I wouldn't not go to the Woodside location again because of parking and the staff's attitude both times... but that was years ago.
I was really surprised to find that the curry dishes here don’t come with rice (you have to pay extra and order a side of rice)—it’s something I’ve never encountered before. At every Thai restaurant I’ve been to, rice is typically included with the meal, so this was definitely unusual. To make matters worse, there were fruit flies buzzing around the restaurant, which was honestly quite off-putting. As for the food itself, the green curry I ordered was extremely oily and lacked the authentic flavor I was expecting. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to others.
Food is great. Service is terrible.
Best soft shell crab (with the basil sauce)
One of my favorite Thai restaurants - delicious food and quick & courteous service. The tom-yum shrimp soup & fried bean curd (for appetizers) and the sautéed chicken pad gra-prow (for dinner) are a must try.
Always delicious! The staff is friendly and attentive. The service is fast. The atmosphere is nice and clean. I'm always happy with my experience when I dine-in or order from here.
Let me start off by saying my wife and I (girlfriend at the time) have been patrons since their original location in woodside which had a handful of tables. We have been bringing our kids to this location since this location opened.
My mother last week mentioned that her food was spoiled. How she was never going back. I thought it was just her and had to go try for myself. Nope, the food was spoiled. We had chopped cucumbers with the satay, the cucumbers were mushy and the liquid tasted weird. My kids ate the satay so I hope those were ok. I had the coconut rice that tasted like it went sour in some parts of the rice. Papaya salad was bland.
It truly is a shame. We had fond memories of going out on dates before the hype/expansion. There was one waitress that remembered us. She would always say, your usual. We would laugh. Til this day we still ordered the same food. She stayed there long enough to meet one of our kids.
Please do better.
SriPraPhai offers an extensive selection of Thai dishes. While the menu features numerous pages and photos—something I find a bit cheesy—the variety is impressive. I opted for the Thai-style beef stew over rice. The flavor was excellent, though the meat was a bit tough. On the positive side, the server was courteous and attentive. Overall, I recommend SriPraPhai for its flavorful dishes and good service.
Delicious food, clean restaurant. Highly recommended.
Good place to eat.
Authentic food , good service, and easy restaurant parking and free street parking
This place is one of my favorites!! They have such good food and amazing staff members they are so kind and sweet!! The place is very clean!! I would definitely recommend this place for a night out!!
Awesome food
i just ordered papaya salad i mentioned i am a pure vegetarian when i came home with my take out ate one bite and i realized it had shrimp in spite of me telling i’m vegetarian they gave me this and when i took it back they said sorry ….really this is how to operate how can you not check very very bad experience a shout out to all vegetarians please be careful never ever going back to sri pra oh😡😡😡😡
Went here for my birthday dinner with the fam. So delicious and great drinks!
Overhyped but always busy. Food did come out fast and servers were friendly.
Very good food. Great atmosphere and service. Small parking lot on the corner. Will visit again.
The one thing I didn't like is that they served the people next to us before we gotta serve. Which I think is ridiculous because we were there already 10 to 15 minutes waiting on the servant.
Waitstaff is incredibly rude and made multiple tables wait for their food for close to an hour without so much of an explanation other than “the kitchen is very busy.” If that’s the case, why multiple tables who sat down after mine get served first, even while we were waiting for our order? Overheard several others complain so it wasn’t just my table.
Right when we stood to leave, the food came out. It was meh. Definitely not worth the wait, especially at their prices. We really regretted not going somewhere else.
In summary, bad prices, mediocre food, awful service. Go here at your own risk.
I have come here often with my family on special holidays, but no longer. I don’t know what has happened in the past few years but service is absolutely abysmal now.
My family and I went to SriPraPhai to celebrate Mother’s day. After appetizers, we waited over FORTY minutes waiting for our entrees. We weren’t the only table waiting — at least three other tables complained about the long wait. The wait staff insisted that they were back up… then, why do I see so many take out orders going out when multiple tables are sitting waiting for their food?
One of the waitresses brought out our rice and insisted that our food will be out soon. (Spoiler: it was not. It took another 20 minutes after that and, by then, the rice was cold as our table wanted our rice with the curry we ordered.)
Two tables next to us came in 10 minutes after us and yet they not only got all their food before us, but also had their to-go/left-over containers before we got our entrees.
Management and servers refused to even give a slight discount on our dinner, stating, “If I give you a discount, I would have to give everyone waiting a discount.” Actually, yes, that’s called decent customer service — when you make so many different tables/parties wait so long, that’s what you should do.
We were actually going to walk out when the entrees finally came out after 40 minutes.
All in all, food is decent, but not worth the wait. The lack of proper service is worse than the wait, and more easily preventable. For this lack, this restaurant just lost a repeat customer. There are restaurants with better food for cheaper prices that don’t treat their customers badly. Better to patron those.
Super disappointed that this place my family used to frequent has gone so downhill. On the first visit back in years, we had to wait 45 minutes for entrees. We were completely ignored by the wait staff during that stretch of time, with no updates on the food or any acknowledgement until we asked about the food (repeatedly). The food finally came right when we were about to leave, and the waitstaff offered no explanation or compensation besides "we're really busy." Also witnessed other tables and takeout orders complaining about the ridiculous wait time and missing food. It's a real shame, since the food is great but not worth the poor service and waiting around.
Very nice place , well staff , delicious food.. would definitely visit again
Service is terrible. The man in front was obviously annoyed when I didn’t leave tip for a pick up order. Why would I leave tip when I’m picking up my own food? Very strange. Food is always mediocre. Also you have to pay extra for rice when you order a curry.. curry is meant to be eaten with rice, why charge extra for it? Makes sense to drive a little further into Queens for good Thai food.
Helpful and friendly staff and delicious food
Very good Thai food. Service is usually good and quick, however they have their very off days where the wait can be much longer than normal..
Update: food is still great, watch out for spiciness if you're sensitive to spice. Specify how spicy you would like items when you order!
Service is great. Everyone was very kind and attentive. Very good food.
Getting wrong orders and trying to argue with customer - bad attitude
The best thai on long Island
Great food. I always enjoy the soft shell crabs.
Amazing food, great service, and a wonderful experience for people of all ages
The spot looks ok and it is big. They have their own parking. Servers are nice... but food is SO BAD I can't give more than 1 star. How can you prepare bland thai food? Nothing tasted like anything at all. If they started seasoning food and buy a little better quality protein... it would be a no brainer.
We are very regular at this place and we love the food here . The service is also very nice .
Ordered pad see ew with chicken. The noodle is NOT hot with only three to four chicken pieces. It's too sweet than salty. It was probably sitting in the kitchen waiting for my friend's dish. It came out quite late. My friend ordered Combo papaya salad Fried Marinated Pork Strips. The sticky rice is luke warm and papaya is hard. Not in season.
Great food every time. Advice is to go in non peak hours
Great Thai food at reasonable prices; tremendous variety. Full bar.
Nice Thai Restaurant. Good food. First choice Asian Restaurant in the neighborhood.
We love Red Curry with Tofu (Vegetarian), Cashew and Pineapple Chicken dishes. We order take out most of the times, but service must be great because restaurant is packed whenever I pickup my food. 😀
Constantly forget your orders. Order takeout? It'll most likely be missing the higher priced order. Order at the table? An hour later they ask what did you order?
Came in on a Saturday afternoon when the place was nearly empty. We put our basic orders in of an appetizer and two entrees. Three other parties sat down after us. All other parties were served and we had waited for nearly an hour without even receiving our appetizer or update on our food. When I asked they said it was coming. Finally I went up to leave and they said they didn’t have our order in. Waiters and waitresses were very rude from the moment we sat down and as we were leaving.
Will not be coming back here.
excellent service good food This is a very good restaurant I will visit again
Excellent.
Great Food, courteous Service
Great food I eat there few times price are resnoble

Good food but small portion
Great taste in non crowned area
Nice and spicy, but in a dark, and fragrant way.
Pad Thai isn’t spicy, but is still VERY good
I ordered take out at this restaurant and it was the worst quality of service and food ever! The amount of money charged for our order was a joke and complete waste of my hard earned money! When I called to ask the gentleman who took our order if the food was ready when we arrived at the restaurant, he demanded that I need to pay first which was a red flag. I refused to do that and asked him to call me when the order was ready. When I went in the restaurant to pick up the food, the young skinny Oriental Thai waitress at the front was not welcoming, had no customer service skills, did not smile, and looked like she was mad with the world! I had to ask her for forks and napkins when that should have been automatically provided in the first place. She only gave 2 cheap small forks and 2 napkins like she was doing me such a huge favor to do so. Then I had to ask her for my credit card receipt which should have also been automatically provided to me as well.
As per the food, the white sticky rice that came with the sweet and sour trout fish was wrapped in a small piece of plastic instead of being packaged in a proper food container! Even fast food restaurants package food properly and provide utensils with napkins! The shrimp fried rice only had a few pieces of shrimp in it. The iced Thai bubble tea was very small for the price charged! I called the restaurant right away and notified the gentleman who took our order of these discrepancies and all he barely said was sorry. This is completely unacceptable and a huge disappointment! They should be ashamed of themselves! Don't these people realize they are conducting a restaurant business in America but they want to be rich overnight by being a ripoff?? We told this gentleman to step it up and never provide the type of service he provided to us to other customers in the future! This was a complete rip off and would never recommend this restaurant for take out and dine in. Their lousy quality of customer service and food will kill the reputation of their restaurant!
Ordered the crispy egg noodles (vegetarian) for take out. Two issues. The first is the portion which I’ve attached a photo. This will barely feed one adult. The second issue is on the menu, it is noted with a (S) which I thought meant ‘spicy.’ It has no spicyness at all. Maybe it means ‘small!’
Best Thai in the Herricks area! Love the drunken noodles and massamum curry
World renowned for a reason make sure you get the Lemongrass tofu it’s spectacular
Have eaten at both of SriPraPhai several times. Cannot beat the flavor profile and authenticity imo.
I have eaten at dozens of Thai restaurants This food was mediocre, at best. Service was great until i gave 88 cents below the suggested 18% tip! The waitress began making annoyed faces and stopped responding to our requests. I wouldn’t return and judging by my waitress’s response, they are probably happy about that.
Had Thai Iced Tea with AlmondMilk and bubbles, Pad Thai and Green Curry with Shrimp! Excellent!
Came here with a few friends, everyone loved their dishes. My pad Thai was a little too dry wish there was a little more sauce. Prices were great, servers were responsive and quick. Would definitely come back to try another dish!
Helpful tip: They have a discount for takeout orders if you pay in cash.
The appetizers were much better than the entrees. The flavor of the pad kee mao was muted and not as good as it should be. Service was good and setting was comfortable. This is probably good for the area.
I don't mind paying for a good meal but this place was just terrible. @$30-$50 a person, I'd expect better food. try at your own risk.
Good variety of Thai food. Price increase from inflationary reasons has been rapid. Quantity of helping reduced. Quality is consistent. Unlikely for prices to come down After inflation has been tamed. Worth an occasional visit.
Really ridiculous restaurant ever!!! Don't order food to go, they won't give you napkins, folks or chopsticks!!! Guess how I know this, because I ordered! So sick of this!!! And I call back to ask them, them answer me that up on request! Excuse me!!! Why they don't say this when I ordered food? Even when I got and paid the order they don't even mention!whats wrong with this restaurant??? How much money you can save for this?
To many flying bugs, will never eat here again
My absolute go-to Thai spot! I've been going here for years and am never disappointed. Their crispy pork belly is delicious! If you're looking for delicious Thai food, try this spot. Check out my full review on Yelp!
amazing selection of thai cuisine and great for big dinners. drunken noodles was favorite
A great gem woderful flavors. A must go
Great food and pricing and service are great.
The best place near long Island for Thai Food the rest of the Thai restaurants where I live are horrible compared to this place
Eh … quality is on the decline and service is worse
We ordered the duck curry, drunken noodles and the crab meatball appetizer. All were excellent. Good flavor, solid portion size, and even medium spicy has a kick.
Extraordinary Thai cuisine. Excellent, outstanding and super professional customer service. Try the pad tai or the drunken noodles with minced beef as both are outstanding. The ginger chicken over rice with spicy ginger sauce for dipping is also a must try. The taro custard for desert is also outstanding. Restaurant is super clean as are the bathrooms. Highly recommended.
food is average but expensive. staff appeared not happy at their job. does not smile at all throughout our dining time. not accomodating, seem impatient to give service to customer. unwelcoming facial expression and communication .seemed annoyed to get the order
One of my fav Thai restaurants
Love the crab fried rice!! Enjoy everyone
Most consistently authentic Thai Restaurant in NY. Been ordering here for years!
Loved it! The food was delicious and the staff were very nice!
I feel like eating in bkk whenever i go here. Food is great and so is the staff.
Excellent food and customer service. Authentic food and good sized portions to boot.
Perfect as always
Came here for a late lunch. The coconut rice is always good, where you can get it as an appetizer or side. Had the shrimp rolls and chicken skewers, but they were just ok. I never had the noodle soup, so I decided to give it a shot, and it was pretty good.
First time here in awhile and reminded why I love this place. Red chicken curry and Drunken noodles were so flavorful ! Food arrived very quickly and service is quite efficient and friendly. The coconut rice was $3 extra which I thought was alot until I tried it. Sweet and pillowy! Sooo good. Comfortable booths, plenty of parking and staff still wears masks. Can't wait to go back!
Great Thai date night.
The best Thai restaurant in NY
Very good. Almost as good as the Woodside location but Woodside service is a little more attentive and the spice level is higher in Woodside. Calamari tender as always.
Delicious food. Very affordable and friendly waitresses.
I am never disappointed in the quality of the food. Friendly staff and very attentive.
Delicious food, great service, reasonable prices!!
Have been ordering from here for several years, have never eaten at the restaurant though. The food is always good. I used to frequent their Woodside location before I moved to Long Island.
The fried tilapia was really good. Thai Iced tea is definitely worth the try. Staff are friendly and atmosphere is good.
Service and atmosphere are great! Big menu and reasonably priced.
Appetizer missing. And I got charged 18.75 for a cup of green curry that fit in the palm of my hand, which they also forgot the side of rice. Will never order take out again here.
I am sorry I really don't know how this place received such high marks. It must be for the decor and friendly staff because the food was not good at all. I ordered basil fried rice. As soon as I saw the rice I knew it was not going to be good it was clumpy and sticky, the flavor was not good. I would never ever return , complete waste of money and lunch time.
I usually don't write reviews - but this place deserves a good one. The food is really good and the customer service is amazing.
We had an issue with our take out order tonight (not a big deal) - and the restaurant went above and beyond to fix it with the least inconvenience for us - while being super sincere in the process. Everyone messes up orders at some point, but I've never had a restaurant care so much about fixing one and it makes all the difference!
Pretty good genuine Thai food. Will visit again
They make the BEST Thai Iced Coffee: strong with condensed milk; Delicious Papaya Salad: firm and crispy not soft like other restaurants; Most tasty Honey BBQ Pork (A-22 on the menu): everyone gobble it up! Crispy Watercress Salad: no one else serves this delectable dish!
Excellent authentic Thai food.
A great favorite with the locals
this is my second time at this location , Great food , friendly service , very worth checking out ,
Can’t go wrong. Great Thai - maybe best in the area.
Very busy, noisy place. That said the food is good overall. Nice friendly people, willing to help and advise. We had Gai Wua Noodles, pad thai, Soy Sauce Noodles-all good. We were not enchanted w the desserts (suggest skipping).
Food was great but they're understaffed. We put our entire order in one shot after waiting for 20+ minutes at the table. The entirety of the order arrived at once instead of appetizers then entrees.
