There are plenty of tables to dine in if you like. I was greeted immediately inside and told to take my time ordering....not pushy... very nice. I ordered a bit of a classic for Americans... the General Tso's chicken lunch special. It came with a small but tasty egg roll... or you can opt for soup. I was not disappointed with the flavor and appearance at all. I asked if they'd prepare fried rice without onions, and it was no problem. Big plus for a guy who loves onions, but they don't like me. The chicken was not overly battered but crispy, and there were actually nice pieces of chicken...juicy tender and tasty, unlike more and more places are giving out in this dish. Honestly, the rice was just awesome... a nice mix of just enough veggies and egg (which you can also request they omit if you like). They were super friendly and the food was great. A really nice variety in the menu... including Thai lunch specials, which I will try next! Give it a shot... I think you'll like this somewhat overlooked gem!

My sisters took me 2 Tang's Asian restaurant for my birthday lunch. The dining area is very nice. They use Oriental fabric screen panels to divide up the room so that there is an air of privacy to an extent. We had drunken noodles, sesame shrimp and coconut shrimp. The food is incredible here. They have Japanese, Chinese and Thai food. What a variety! The food came to us piping hot 🔥. They're iced tea is homemade and pretty sweet. Don't recommend just ordering water. But they have bottled water $ if you prefer. Good sized portions. Service was great. I highly recommend this restaurant. Sorry no pictures, (they were only of half eaten plates), but when the food came we just dove right in. Pictures of the shrimp don't do it justice. The shrimp are huge, and you get 10. Get the shrimp 🦐!

We moved to the area last year and found this nice Asian restaurant in Wilkes-Barre that we go to when we shop in the area. Sunny, our server, is always pleasant and was willing to offer suggestions and even personalize my meal to my preferences. The food is always hot & delicious too. The front & back worked together flawlessly to make our visit pleasant both times we were there. Dining room is always clean too. My husband got a Tokyo roll and enjoyed it. I miss our old restaurant Evergreen in Allentown but we are happy we found this one to treat ourselves once in a while. Don't make the mistake of letting the exterior or the huge spray painted entrance sign on 309 keep you away. You will miss a great meal and great service.

Ordered delivery tonight and although it took about an hour (which is totally fine and was expected ordering delivery of any sort) The food came warm and perfect. Ordered chicken broccoli with white rice and egg drop soup, another chicken broccoli with pork fried rice and a pork roll and an order of their Boston roll. To my surprise they also included a sweet dessert roll! It was a delicious meal overall. Amazing service and amazing food. Will definitely be ordering here again!

Came here after reading reviews. Outside of the building looks tacky, but go inside! Cute and food was good, service was excellent. They go above and beyond to be sure you are well taken care of. Will definitely return

We had dinner here and it was a great find. The staff is incredibly kind and quick, with great attention given to the customer. The food was delicious. We had the human, yellowtail sashimi, some specialty rolls, some raw rolls, and some egg fried rice. The presentation of the food ordered, specifically the rolls, were beautiful. Our drinks were refilled before they ever even got empty. The price was agreeable as well, we would have paid far more for less quality back in Utah. You have to try this place, you won't regret it.

I discovered this place after my regular favorite spot switched owners. Figured I would check somewhere new and the good reviews made me try it. From the fi/rst day, the food has been amazing but most importantly the way they treat you. So grateful, and even threw in a treat the one time it took a little ( and they were busy so it was fine). I don't do reviews often, but this place is really that great. We love them!

If you are looking for a replacement for golden star this is it! It’s even better. I ordered at 8:01 and it was at the door steaming hot by 825. Great service and incredible delivery and speed.

Combinations are for takeout only at dinner, so I had Sushi instead of the Chinese I came for. I was very happy with my rolls and small soup. I would definitely recommend this place and go back if I was in the area.

They're wonderful. The owner is really nice and they have amazing food. They do have some amount of wait time, but the food is well worth it just for the variety alone. I order from there at least 2 times a month. The dine in experience is good as well, however their shop is small so there's not much seating. Great place, 5/5 would highly recommend.

I order delivery service and get the Chicken Wings/ House Special Fried Rice. The rice is filled with delicious fresh tasting vegetables (carrots, onions, and sweet peas) with enormous pieces of Chiken and lots of shrimp 😋 and the wings are fried to perfection. I've called a few times to tell the cook how delicious the food is!

This place was a suggestion by one of our son’s college roommates and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic suggestion. The service was great and the food was amazing. The bento boxes were perfectly portioned, fulfilling, and delicious.

My wife and I always managed to seek out a Chinese Restaurant to eat wherever we are traveling on the road.Tang's appears to have very good review, and I agree.
Being a Chinese American and lived in NYC for almost 50 years, I enjoyed the way Tang's prepare their food, very much like Szechuan cuisine back in the early 80's in NYC. Of course, my wife who was born and raised in Harbin, China was not used to it. Glad that she was willing to accommodate.
I had a bowl of Hot and Sour soup, Triple Delight with 2 bowls of white rice. Everything hit the spot. My wife had what was supposed to be Pad Thai, but look and taste more like Cantonese beef with flat noodle. Hot tea we requested did cost extra, which we did not know ahead of time. A nice little restaurant away from major city, we have no major complaint.

Food was great. Only thing was when I got the Boston Roll it didn't have any bonito flakes or mayo. But it was still good. The Kung Pao Shrimp was good but was not at all spicy. And I asked for extra spicy. Overall very good.

It’s been so long since I’ve found a place that I can say this about.

My wife and I love love love Chinese food. We are in the area visiting from NY and looked up a quick place to eat. This place has great reviews for a reason. We pulled up and were a little concerned with how the place looked from the outside. The sign in the street is a poorly written spray paint sign that says "Chinese Food" we were worried but I promise our tastebuds were full of joy. We had Shrimp Gyoza, Crab Rangoon, Edamame, Chicken Teriyaki, Miso Soup, Egg Fried rice and a bowl of white rice. Every bite of everything was phenomenal!! Highly Recommend. We also got a teapot of Tea and it too was a hit. The atmosphere isn't anything to write home about but the service was great. One last note is our 20 month old daughter enjoyed every bite of everything just as well.

Awesome food, some of the best Chinese food I have had.

I have been coming to Tang’s for a few years. Usually I order their sushi, which I love, but today I decided to branch out and ordered the lunch special pad Thai with shrimp. It was really tasty!! I asked for it to be mildly spicy and the heat was perfect. My husband got the drunken noodles and there was a slight mix up. He ordered shrimp and got chicken, which he also loves so he kept it. Sunny (I apologize that I’m likely misspelling her name) was super apologetic but the food was still phenomenal so it was all good. I have always felt very welcome at this restaurant and the quality is as good with take out as dining in. I can’t recommend them enough!

Food is good, but don't try and order shrimp fried rice and a shrimp eggroll together on any meal...they get angry (lil lady came from the back angry). But I promise it was the best I ever had and I'm coming back...the big shrimp in the shrimp fried rice.

I have been a customer at Tang’s for a few years now, tonight was the first night me and my boyfriend stopped by in awhile, they were busy, clearly exhausted, and worn down. Despite this they provided beyond exceptional service, incredible food, and even went as far as to include these delicious cake bites in my large sushi order. The entire staff deserves the highest of praise. If we could rate 15 stars we would.

Recently moved to Wilkes-Barre and was leaving behind my favorite Chinese food place. So, we tried Tang's and wow! Yum yum the food was delicious. And, the people working there are so kind! Will definitely be returning. ☺️.... Update: Still delicious and still the best!! Best customer service ever. I usually order Chicken Mei Fun, and General Tsos.. both are delicious. Delicious crab Rangoon and delicious Shrimp egg rolls Today I tried their pancake scallions.. YUM!!!

So so sooo yummy and their sushi items are fresh and flavor packed. You have to get their coconut chicken it was the best thing ever and the tempura batter was epic. The sushi pizza was also a favorite too.

Was uncertain about this place since it’s quite far, however the food is absolutely amazing for the price would 100% go again. :)

We were driving thru W-B last night and stopped at Tang’s. When we arrived we were the only ones in the restaurant. We were greeted by a young women who was so attentive to us. The food was delicious! The phone was constantly ringing and over 10 people came in for to go orders. I would highly recommend Tang’s!

This food is so good. I love the service. She was very patient and kind and answered any question I had with no problem. Again the food was amazing. All the Flavor and love put into the food. I’m just inlove with the whole restaurant. Pray for this restaurant to be well known they deserve it.

I finally found a Chinese food restaurant that has good Chinese food. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken lunch. It came with pork fried rice and your choice of egg roll or soup. The pork fried rice actually had more than 5 pieces of pork and they were chunks, not little slivers or pieces. The rice had egg and peas in it( reminded me of NYC Chinese food nostalgicly 🙂) . The chicken was fried correctly, not hard pieces of flour. Even the egg roll was good. ( The only reason it got 4 stars was because my son said there were only 4 pieces of crab Rangoon - but they tasted great) The young man who took the order was courteous and provided great customer service. This is my go to place. Btw...they also have Japanese food. I may try the Chicken teriyaki bento box😁

Tang’s Asian Cuisine, located on Wilkes-Barre Township Boulevard, offered a pleasant dining experience, with a very friendly server and excellent food.

We arrived on a Friday evening shortly before 7:00. There were plenty of tables available, so we were immediately seated.  Our server was a very agreeable young woman, and served us our soft drinks before taking our order.

We ordered the fried pork Gyoza as an appetizer, and it came rather quickly with a side of soy sauce. The Gyoza was crispy and had plenty of flavor. A steamed option is also available.

The House Pad Thai Rice Noodle dish was quite pleasing. One can order it plain or spicy, with a range of numbers (I’m assuming 1 to 10) as to the degree of heat. I chose to go with a 6, which had some heat, but not spicy enough to make it uncomfortable. Included in the noodles were chicken, pork, and shrimp. The noodles weren’t al dente, but neither was it very soft. The dish was topped with crushed peanuts with a piece of lime on the side.

The Spicy Basil Fried Rice (also a 6) was also very tasty. The dish was ordered with tender chicken, but one can also order it with vegetables, pork, beef, or shrimp. The meal was very flavorful, and enough was served to warrant a to-go container.

The decor wasn’t overly Asian, but the atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. Our entrees were served in a timely fashion, and our server was very attentive without becoming burdensome. The outside of the establishment was also unassuming, but don’t let that deter you from having an otherwise delicious meal. In addition to dine-in, take-out is also available. We noticed employees walking around quite often with paper bags ready to go.

All in all, Tang’s Asian Cuisine should be patronized, perhaps fueling up before a shopping trip to the nearby Wegman’s and Sam’s Club.

Thai food needed more peppers and Thai basil

Good customer service. Parking lot smelled like week old dead fish and we were the only people there. Should have taken the warning signs because the food was below a decent day at Panda Express. The orange chicken was sweet as candy and the red curry was watery soup.

The spicy salmon sushi was good at least.

Was visiting from New York and my niece who lives out there told me about it the food was good will come back again.

Until today, this was my go-to sushi spot. I'd order from their website at least twice a month and tipped well. I was a great customer to them and didn't complain on the days they were late on my deliveries.

Last time, my credit card was accidentally charched twice, so I fixed it.
This time, I went to order and a worker there (owner?) called me to YELL in my ear about how I stole my last meal from them and how he will never fulfill my orders there ever again.

The man yelling wouldn't let me explain myself and insisted I stole from them, yelling over my words. Very poor customer tomer service to say the least.

They just lost a loyal customer over a misunderstanding.

Very nice lady took my order and when I went to pick up she was very concerned that she got it right as I was a first time customer. Even asked me to taste the food and be sure it was correct.

The food was amazing. Sushi for starters. Sweet potato roll, then I had Tofu Szechun on a sizzling plate, great presentation. Service is very top notch. The people working there are so friendly and always checking on your table. They make you feel very welcome, just like family. Thank you all.

Small restaurant. Ordered a ton of food and all of it was delicious. Freshest Chinese/Japanese food in the area. The sushi was amazing. I waited an extra 30 min on my pick up but they made up for it by giving me a large cup of their sweet homemade tea on the house. Delish! I’ll be back :)
