Quality Fresh ingredients is our promises. We serve Thai Authentic menus and wide varieties of over 40 dishes Thai vegan menus.
I went this place a few times, no issues. Today, I ordered take out again. When I got to my front door, my bag of food quickly soaked through with sauce before ripping. Opening what was left of it, I saw a MASSIVE SLIT in the plastic curry container, which led to it spilling all over my front door. When I called them up, they said it must’ve “happened during travel”. Yeah, right. Next they told me it was “sealed tightly” and the hole was there “for air”. So which is it? Did you put a hole in the container “for air”, or did it happen “during travel”? They then said “there’s nothing we can do” and blamed me for it. Not to mention, NONE of the other curry dishes I got from this place had a hole of any kind in the container. NOTHING happened to the bag or container on the ride home. It had to be on their end. I am never going back there again. They just lost a customer.
This is a great place for Thai food. The staff was very friendly and the food was great.
We started with a Thai Tea, curry puffs, Thai dumplings, and Thai spring rolls. All of which was very good. We particularly liked the curry puffs, which were very flavorful and had a great texture.
For dinner we got emerald salmon (salmon with green curry) and fried rice. The fried rice was very good and the emerald salmon was delicious. Portions were quite large as well.
We will absolutely be back!
The food was fine but the staff was very rude. We entered and were totally neglected and then sat down but no one came to ask and when we were ordering, didn’t even listen properly! And when we asked about bubble tea, same.
She was smiling with other costumes but we felt like with us it was totally off.
We got the Shrimp Pad Thai, Yellow Chicken Curry, some Curry Puffs and Thai iced teas.
To start, UHM $10 for 3 Curry Puffs; never again thanks! And they changed their fillings within the last 6 months.
They tasted so different from the old ones we got just last year when we went almost weekly. The yellow Chicken Curry is still amazing, the Pad Thai was just good, better than the other Thai places close to Scranton. Probably won't be eating here again due to paying $20 for 6 small pastry filled puffs but if you want delicious Curry? Then stop by.
Edit: saw some reviews from 4 and 5 months ago with 4 of the bigger, way more delicious Puffs, going to genuinely miss them. They were super unique and honestly mouth watering delicious.
I was hungry and stumbled across this restaurant. I called in my order of the shrimp and vegetables. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and it was take out only. My food was ready and the lady took my payment. When I asked for a specific receipt her attitude shifted. I don't know what that was about. I got my receipt and food and asked if I could use the restroom and not so happy she pointed me to it. The restroom wasn't the cleanest, lets just leave it like that. I did however like the flavor of the food but it was in too much watery sauce that spilled everywhere. I give this place 3 stars only because the food had good flavor.
I order the chiefs pad Thai, immediately when the food arrived I noticed an ammonia smell coming from it with my experience with food means there is spoiled meat in the dish I told them it smelled funny they told me it was the sauce. I am no fool, I didn't feel like arguing more so I got it to go & threw it away. A shame it did look good.
This was a very underwhelming experience. Food prices online did not reflect their raised in store prices, and the food wasn't worth the extra 2 dollars a plate. The drunken noodles were okay and the chicken skewers (sate) were terrible. The Boba was an 8/10 but too small for the price, and the only decent part were the non thai Mozzarella bites. Wouldn't go again to be honest. There is a better thai place in Scranton to go to.

Tried pad thai, red curry, satay, basil fried rice (all chicken). All the food was good. Spice level 3/5 felt right for me (little spicy but not burning). $1/hr garage parking next door.
Stopped in with my friend on a whim and we're both completely more than satisfied the food is absolutely outstanding and the people are some of the most hospitable I have yet to encounter restaurant setting will definitely be returning
Excellent Thai restaurant! Hostess/waitress was so nice and helpful.
Kudos!
Great atmosphere and great service. I don't remember the waitresses name but she worked on 6/10/24. She took the take order for 4star drunken noodles with chicken and no green peppers. The food was really good and did not disappoint.
Placed an order for pick. Upon arriving home, noticed items were missing. Small portions compared to when he ordered in the past also.
They have the best Red Thai Curry in town. I’m a fan of Thai food and generally judge a Thai place by how well they can make the basic Thai curry.
Have tried it in all Thai restaurants in Scranton WB area.
There’s is the best. Creamy and fresh veggies. Will be back for more.
I ate here after it changed ownership and withheld my review until I returned.
I'm glad I did. The portions have increased and the flavor is incredible. I had Pad phed nor Mai level 3 spicy with tofu...it was excellent and satisfying. The chef came out and asked how the food was...a good sign of a place trying to improve and do well in the scranton lunch scene.
Ignore the older reviews here. Thai Thai is now Yodthong (new owners). Menu, food and staff are completely different. Check it out - place is great!

The table was somewhat broken the service was alright my kids got chicken pad thai and taste just like fish and I ordered drunken noodles and they were over cook and for me that was to expensive for the food I received
We had the Pad Nam Prik Pad and Pad Cashew Nut. We had it at medium spicy (3 on a scale from 1-5) and it was plenty hot so just a heads up. We also had the stuffed thai pepper appetizer. My friend got the hot Thai Tea which was very sweet and delicious. Highly recommended.
very nice and clean setup, super warm and friendly staff. Food is amazing - must try crab fried rice!
Loved the place and the ambience, especially the nice sir who served us. He had awesome vibes :)
Notice:: Closed For Renovations at the moment. Restaurant reopens 12th March 2024
First entering the restaurant, i felt a sense of tradition. The service and hospitality was amazing, they treated me like family. The food was amazing, and the seasoning. Prices are really good. And employees are very kind and the food is genuinely really good as someone who's very acquainted w thai food! I am also from NYC and I'd say I have a refined pallette. The food is also halal except for the duck! It isn't mentioned anywhere but our waitress was a hijabi and she did say it was halal. The drunken noodles were amazing better than many popular restaruants in NYC. A must is their tom yum soup, drunken noodles and the basil fried rice.
Service was ok. Food was way too sweet. Too much sugar in most of the dishes.
My first time here...had the chicken fried rice and it was delicious. Will definitely be back
Great customer service
Great food, really enjoyed lunch . Had appetizers, main entrees for 4 people.
Stopped by with my wife after a show just to "check it out". Well we were surprised in how good it was. The food was extraordinary and the service was beyond the best we ever experienced. We have had Thai food in NYC visiting our son which was very good but, this was exceptional. The pricing was very reasonable and actually better than we expected. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will be going back.
This experience and food I ate was exceptional! I haven't ate Thai food as delicious as in this Restaurant. I have ate in many Thai restaurants and were good but it's all about the atmosphere, food, service, cleanliness I consider as an Exceptional Restaurant and experience and this Restaurant YodThongs food was Delicious the presentation of the dishes are so impressing only in a high end restaurant I've seen this. I guarantee 💯 you will not only enjoy your food you will love it. I can't wait to spread the word to my family and friends. I wish Apple and Nah lots of success and Blessing because this food is Authentic. You need to try it even when 1 or 2 people give less than 5 stars. Thank you
Nicest people work here and amazing drunken noodles, probably the best I've had in a long time!! Definitely come :)
Just had the most incredible experience. Treated us like family, so attentive.
Service is fantastic, but the food on the other hand...
We got Pad Thai, Green Curry, and hot Thai Tea. Thai Tea and the Green Curry were phenomenal as always. Unfortunately the Pad Thai was severely lacking in flavor and spice, which I wasn't expecting since the Pad Thai was good when I last ate here a few months back. Noodle texture was very mushy and overall disappointing when you've spent $16 for the dish.
This food has always been good! But now it's even better. It is under new management and the new name will be Yodthong Restaurant. Still great Thai food with a main menu and a vegan mentu
Food is great and excellent service. We will be back!
New ownerships. Food was amazing, server and everyone there is so kind. Definitely recommend
We got the Shrimp Pad Thai, Yellow Chicken Curry, some Curry Puffs and Thai iced teas.

I attended here for lunch. Very delicious and speedy. I ordered red curry lunch special and it was perfect! Service was speedy and food comes out hot in temperature. The spice was just the right amount of heat!
Over many years this WAS my favorite Thai restaurant to hit up when coming back to my hometown.
Unfortunately, dining in here has taken a complete 180°. After ringing the bell multiple times to even see anyone working there we were seated (a party of 3) in a completely empty restaurant, handed menus only to have the employee turn and quickly walk away. After she returned 15 minutes later to take our order, one of our party was informed that an item of the Chef's Specials dinner he selected was not available and again, she hurried off to the back of the restaurant again. When she returned again, I inquired if they would be willing to increase the amount of shrimp & scallops in the dinner since the lobster was unavailable. Initially, she seemed somewhat confused, but did say yes for the same price listed which we gladly accepted. In a hurry to leave our table again, STILL BEING THE ONLY 3 PEOPLE IN THE RESTAURANT, we quickly stopped her to request something to drink...finally.
Over a period of approximately another 15-20 minutes, she was somewhat attentive to the 3 take out orders they had. I say that generously, as they too had to ring the bell to get any service whatsoever, just to pick up their orders to go.
Our table was no less than 15 feet from their pick up location, and still we had no drinks or any indication they would be arriving anytime soon.
Another 20 minutes pass still without drinks and no sight of her, so we decide to leave. One of our party is kind enough to track her down somewhere in the back to inform her of our decision and without batting an eyelash she doesn't say a word, turns and walks away...and off to a nearby Thai restaurant with great service and food we went!
See the review of my NEW FAVORITE THAI IN SCRANTON, PA...COMING SOON!!!
food was okay but the service was poor
This is a great place for Thai food. The staff was very friendly and the food was great.

Milk tea the best
Loved the food... Good alternative to Thai rak Thai ...
Amazing food, amazing price. Loved it.
We were travelling from upstate new york to New jersey, after 2 hours of driving we stopped in this small town to get some food. we parked right next to this thai restaurant and thought we might aswell get some food there. as we arrived the woman told us the food might be a bit slow to arrive as she was the only person working, still she said only 20 minutes. Even though she was the only person working, the food came faster than most places and it had a phenomenal taste. We left with happy stomachs. In my opinion it is worth every penny. This isn’t the end of our experience with this restaurant. as we started to drive back we noticed my mother had left her phone in the restaurant, we called the place hoping she could ship it back out to us or something. it turns out she was coming to new york city the next day and could give us her phone there! thanks to her, my mother didn’t have to buy a new phone. we are incredibly thankful and greatful for the woman who works here for doing such a kind gesture. will definitely visit again if we are in the area again
Nice thai food, reasonable price. When we went for lunch it was open for take out only but waitress was nice and allowed us to sit and served lunch. I will definitely go back again.
A bit pricey, but definitely the most authentic Thai food I have had in the area hands down! Yummy real deal- worth it! Pad see eew Just wish I got a Thai iced tea to go with it- next time!
I was hungry and stumbled across this restaurant. I called in my order of the shrimp and vegetables. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and it was take out only. Bubble tea was good. It would look more professional to reprint menus instead of sharpie through prices. The menus needed to be cleaned.
Delicious bubble tea! They also have a selection of flavors.
A pleasant family restaurant. The staff are so friendly. One of the best pineapple friend rices I've ever had.
There is no dine in option and the place makes you sure you would never want to dine there. The place is filthy and closer to being closed down than open only for take out.
Food was terrible. The pad Thai was greasy... my wife's dish was some kind of clear noodles but again greasy. We've had much better Thai food that was light not a greasy mess.
I cannot comment on the food because unfortunately I didn’t even get to try it. The service was so bad that we had to leave after an hour. I usually just disregard bad service, and smile and support the waiters/waitresses. But this has to be one of the worst experiences for me in a restaurant. My girlfriend and I went to the restaurant around 5pm to dine in. Few minutes later, a group of 4 people showed up for dine in and sat down beside our table. The waiter came to get their drink order and left to get the drinks. 5 minutes later he came back to get their food order. Another 10-15 mins later he brought their drinks and appetizers and left to attend others. Few minutes later he came to get our food order. That was almost 45 mins after we sat down! Then almost an hour later, he came back with water when I ordered a coke. An hour to get drinks!!! So we just left. We, all of us including who are reading this review, go to a restaurant just not for its food, but to have a good experience and to enjoy time with the loved ones. I hope the management looks into it and make sure they provide better service to the next customers.
I prefer this thai restaurant over the other local one. Their boba machine is constantly broken though. I dont think Ive had a boba from here in 2 years because every time we want thai and we call here...machines broken.
I went there with my husband for lunch and we ordered basil fried rice and drunken noodles. Food was good and portions were big. We were full and satisfied. The best thai food place so far. I also had milk tea with boba and tasted really good. Definitely going back.
Soooo much better than any other Thai restaurant in Scranton!
Great boba tea if someone is looking for a good spot! Everything is made fresh and tastes amazing.
I got mango bubble tea and it tasted very good
Best bubble tea I have ever had in my life
Five stars for the basil fried rice and the papaya salad. The most authentic thai food in the area. Fours stars for the overall food in general. Tasty and authentic but sometimes portion and presentation can be iffy.
Tried bubble tea for the first time . It was awesome.
Since the pandemic, they've only done takeout, and that's the only experience I have with them. Everytime I come, they're really nice and smiley to see me even though I'm not a regular. I just come in to get bubble tea (their bubbles are so much softer? than Thai Rak Thai, and the drink is a lot smoother). Despite that, they're really kind. I would recommend to go here anytime!!!
Their Drunken noodle and Basil fried rice are incredible. I get it 5 spicy. It's spicy as hell, super flavorful. They give generous portions and are very reasonably priced. It's my favorite spot in Scranton.
Good lord this place has amazing Thai food. Drunken Noodles or any of their fried rice are my personal favorites, highly recommend checking it out if you’ve never been before. First time Thai food eaters? This is a MUST!
Usually had good exprerience but tonight( 7/08/2020) ordered chicken/shrimp drunken noodles. Barely got any chicken & 0 shrimp & noodles and sauce was burnt
Love this restaurant. Food is delicious, highly recommend!
Good food good price friendly people
Food was so good! Service was quick and friendly and we got to sit after eating and not be rushed at all.
Very nice Thai restaurant with very close to actual authentic Thai food that you would actually be served in Thailand. Since I have been to Thailand a few times I would know authentic Thai food when I see it and this is surely very authentic. The roast duck is especially good on the menu. The employees are very nice and the interior of the restaurant is very close to a fine dining look. I would highly recommend this place.
Very good foods! Friendly people
Best thai restaurant in scranton in my opinion.
Had good times here. Great food. Tom yum soup is a must.
I don't enjoy the food here as much as I do at Jasmine or Thai Rak Thai
My pad Thai was delicious. Any dishes that are marked spicy apparently have a scale of 1-5 spiciness. A #3 spicy was equal to a normal #7 spicy!! Good flavor on our seafood dish, but overpowered by the spiciness for sure. The staff was attentive....too attentive. Although we arrived 1.5hrs before closing, we were rushed through dinner. The waiter pushed us to order, showing little care for our experience and more on how quickly he could get out of work. This place is also BYOB, so I would recommend as a take out venue.
The service was awful. They practically kicked us out despite the website saying they close at 3:30pm. The waiter who tended to us was rude, and they didn't understand us and acted irritatingly as if we had gone for free. We felt rushed and extremely uncomfortable, and even though the food was alright, we're definitely not returning again.
Worst service I have ever experienced. The blonde male server is incredibly rude for no reason. He could barely understand or appropriately speak English which I have no issue with, but he got visibly frustrated when me and my family began ordering because he didn't understand us, which wasn't even our fault, we all speak very clear, fluent English. After he sat us down in our tables the first thing he told us was that they close at 3pm and we need to order fast, didn't even give us a minute to think about what to order. By the way, online it says their closing time is 3:30, It was 2:40, if you close in 20 minutes why would you take in customers just to tell them they need to order and eat fast? What happened to good service and customer satisfaction? On top of not enjoying the food, after the last set of customers left, they completely turned off the background music making everything dead silent, we felt so unwelcome. The server treated us poorly and acted like he was doing us a favor, well guess what... When a consumer makes the decision to choose to eat at your restaurant, they're not only paying for food, they're paying for a service. The least you could do is treat them like a decent human-being. Definitely not the right way to do business. I will not be coming back here in a million years and I'll make sure to let every family and friend I know to not ever step foot in this place.
I used to be a big fan of this restaurant. This and Thia Thia Wilkes-Barre were the best Thia restaurants in the area. Recently the food quality has taken a turn for the worse. So bad my recent order of drunken noodles came out looking like wet dog food and tasting like burnt gravey. Please, avoid if able; there are much better local options available.
Food here is delicious
Best Thai I've had in Scranton
Better than Thai rak Thai, bigger portions, better atmosphere.
Food was ok, but service was horrible. Couldn’t wait to get out. The server was actually bit rude. Asked for the manager but no where to be seen. They took my number, but no one called. Will not go again.
The worse dining experience ever, the servers were horrible, I asked for a manager or the owner and they were no where to be found. Substandard quality food! HORRIBLE!!!!
Food was good. It's very clean and neat at the restaurant. Will definitely order from there again.
Food was great! BYOB! Cant get better than that!
Great food and service
Loved it, Great Food and Staff
I gave this place a five-star because the food was fantastic. I think I should have came a little bit lower rating because people were complaining but that a wait so long there were people that waited over an hour but that tells you something about this place their food really is good. I had the vegetarian meals and they were great I recommended for people who are vegan or vegetarian.
Best Thai food in all of Scranton, hands down! Food quality here is consistently delectable. The wait staff is always perfectly attentive and friendly. And their lunch specials give you a terrific portion of food with plenty of chance to control the spicy-ness to fit your preference.
bubble tea here is absolutely great! theres only about two places to get bubble tea in this area (including this one), and it tastes great. thai tea is my go to and is so yummy!
Exceptional food and service. Best thai in the area
The food was amazing. The ambience fit a nice date place. The spice blended well with the meat and vegetables. I'm going back soon.
Stawberry bubble tea tasted like pepto bismol
Excellent thai food, especially the chicken satay. The food was very spicy, just as I requested. Service was quick and attentive.
Do not go to this place. Food inspector should visit these guys and check the food they are serving. Have something from here only if you want to fall sick. Along with that the service is so horrible that you might have never seen.
Ran in quick for bubble tea. It was delicious and the staff were positively perfect. I can't wait to go back for a meal!
We get treated like family every time we visit. The appetizers are my favorite and Drunken Noodles are the best ever.
Really great bubble tea!
Great food....excellent service! Make sure to try the Thai Tea!!
Food was very well cooked. Restaurant was very clean. All the food had a slightly sweet taste, including the items that were supposed to be more savory, but again cooked very well. Was disappointed they almost never have tapioca pearls when I go to get Boba/Bubble tea but still a very good place for a nice bite to eat.
Best Thai food! Love the pad Thai, drunken noodles, pineapple fried rice and yellow curry
We come here a few times a month and we are never disappointed!! Food is excellent and the staff is very friendly and accommodating..i highly recommend Thai Thai!!
Top shelf food and service! This was my first time having Thai cuisine and couldn't have picked a better restaurant.
Went for lunch and got pork pad Thai and green curry. The green curry was basic but very tasty. The pad Thai had little to flavor other than burnt pork and egg. Portion and price were fare though.
Ordered the Druken thai. 3 of 5 on the spice level. Wonderful dish. Just the correct amount of heat to enjoy the next fork full. Service with a smile, check up on you if you need anything. Does not hound you. Let's you enjoy your meal. Highly rated place to enjoy Thai Food.
Love all the food there.
Not good. Food is inconsistent, service is bad. The place was totally empty, and now I know why.
The food has really gone downhill here. I used to love this place, but the last few times I’ve gone the food has been horrible.
