Sad to write this review this was my favorite restaurant in town for many many years. The service was great but the food was shockingly different. We always got the Vietnamese #6 and the vermicelli noodles were soft and mushy, the egg roll inside was mushy and so salty. It was also lacking the bean sprouts and cilantro. We will come back in a few months and see if it’s better. Maybe they changed ownership so we’ll try again later.

Food is WAY different since new owner took over,. Just NO! Last visit for me!! 🤮. Wait staff has no idea what they are doing! 😕

Diner Review №5

We used to love this place and would eat here multiple times a month. We went today to pick up food and the food has drastically changed. I normally get pho or Vietnamese #8 and what I received today was not even remotely close to what was served in the past. It wasn’t even edible.

Diner Review №6

They need more servers. I was disappointed by the (heavily processed) pork in #11. Veggies were cut too large to be cooked properly. Sauce was uninteresting. The fried rice was plain, like nothing but rice with minimal flavor. We asked for fried rice and the server brought us plain rice first. Potstickers were ok!

Diner Review №7

Great Thai food. #10 is our fave along with Thai tea. Yum.

Diner Review №8

Clean, fresh, so good!

Diner Review №9

Ordered their Panang Curry and it was the worst tasting panang I have ever had. It was completely lacked the required coconut milk. We also ordered the hot & sour soup tasted like canned chicken stock with mushroom

Diner Review №10

Alright, so the restaurant itself isn’t bad at all. I think it’s cute, and has good service. But I’ve gotten Pad Thai multiple times now, and each time I have I had the same experience with the food: bland rice noddles with hardly any sauce. I had to add 5 packets of soy sauce for it to even be worth eating.

Maybe some of their other food tastes better, but if you’re planning on going, don’t have the Pad Thai unless they someday update the recipe so it’s actually Pad Thai.

Diner Review №11

Best Thai in the western slope. Service is soooo good. Thanks.. wevwill be back!

Diner Review №12

Diner Review №13

The Pad Thai is NOT pad Thai. Practically plain noodles in a watery sauce that was never mixed in. The Panang curry was SUPER SPICY, and I love lots of spice but OMG this was too much (they never asked what spice level I wanted). The Tom Kah soup was okay… but still lacked most of the balance and spice to considered anything near traditional.

Overall a big disappointment as I’ve eaten here various times before, but the food quality has changed for the worse. I’ll find a new spot in town I guess…

Diner Review №14

Diner Review №15

I liked the food until about half hour later realized that they put a load of MSG in it! I am not coming back ever! My mouth was super dry! Please stop doing that!

Diner Review №16

I ordered appetizers from the Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese options on the menu. They did not disappoint.

Diner Review №17

Very nice restaurant. Good food, nice staff. Had a good meal and family visit. Nice portions.

Diner Review №18

Ordered the pad Thai and it had zero sauce. Just noodle and egg. Incredibly disappointed. Used to recommend eating here but won’t any longer.

Diner Review №19

Bof....

Diner Review №20

Diner Review №21

I have eaten here since they opened. Today unfortunately will be the last time. The food quality has not stayed consistent or of good quality. The service was deplorable and the ladies room was disgusting.
Today I was not greeted with kindness or a welcoming attitude. Grumpy and displeased server. I had to ask for everything and then she was unhappy to have to make the effort. Usually when I have bad service, I will be generous with tipping as everyone can have a bad day. Unfortunately, when I paid with cash, the change was not returned to me and assumed it would be a tip. The tea was extremely bitter and I mentioned it and asked for a glass of water. Nothing said about the tea or if a new pot could be brought in replacement. The egg roll was extremely mushy and cold and the chicken noodle with bok choy and vegetables had so few vegetables you had to look hard to find them and the main dish itself was cold with over cooked noodles. It is unfortunate but this restaurant has gone down hill.

Diner Review №22

Always a good experience food is great and comes out super fast

Diner Review №23

Diner Review №24

Good food very nice 👌 very good Thai tea big sizes

Diner Review №25

Diner Review №26

Came in here with my buddy and my sons and had a great experience. Fast seating. Good customer service, food came out about 5 mins after ordering fresh and very tasty. I would recommend this place.

Diner Review №27

Very good road trip stop

Diner Review №28

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Both the food and service were remarkably good. Very fresh vegetables.

Diner Review №29

Didn't have what I normally enjoy at Thai restaurants across the country, i.e. Pad Ka-prow, brown rice or DeCaf green tea! They did make an effort however.

Diner Review №30

My Pad Thai was TERRIBLE! IT WAS BASICALLY WHITE SO NO FLOVOR!

Diner Review №31

Diner Review №32

Dude, the lady who served us had the most kind and gentle energy about her. Which always makes it nice when dining out at a place for the first time. She just OOZED kindness. Love it. Fried rice was also super dank.

Diner Review №33

Diner Review №34

If you want to eat real food, this is the place to go! Prices are comparable to a drive-through window. However, you are getting a freshly cooked meal! Bring your whole family... lunch or dinner, there is something there for everyone, even your picky eaters!

Diner Review №35

Horrible experience, waitress was cold and food was super bland. Ordered a Pad thai and it was swimming in broth, which I have never seen before. No taste at all- we literally took 2 bites out of our food and left everything, waitress didn’t even bother to ask how things were or why we didn’t finish. Don’t waste your money there.

Diner Review №36

Diner Review №37

Diner Review №38

I was expecting something more when I asked for Thai hot and it was barely medium hot but the food was great aswell as the service

Diner Review №39

I will not go back. Food was not to our taste or experience. Ordered a noodle dish that said brown gravy. It was a soup broth poured over noodles with pieces of chicken and 1 piece of bok choy cut in half. Noodles were wet with no flavor because they couldn’t absorb a SOUP broth. Tom Kha soup had no body at all. Just coconut cream with chicken and chicken stock. No vegetables no fish sauce no curry paste or lemongrass. All recipes are different but this lacked some of the basics. Just bland food. Maybe the cook was new or having a bad day but we won’t go back. Have had lots of Thai food in 35 years of the and this was a way to not execute good simple ingredients. Service was nice and place is clean. Food has no depth to it.

Diner Review №43

Great food and service

Diner Review №44

Overall I was extremely impressed! I lived in Asia for a couple of years and this was super authentic and delicious. I was first impressed by the prices and how cheap it was! Then the portion sizes are big too! Definitely going back in the future! Great staff and short wait for food as well.

Diner Review №45

First time eating here, and WOW is the food good!
The wait staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and was able to answer my allergy questions and other questions with ease. The food is affordable and delicious, and the restaurant is very cozy and delightful to dine in at.
I love spicy food and their spicy dish options make it to where you can get the spicy on the side or mixed into your order! I got the spicy option for the wok garlic chicken off the Thai menu, and got the Thai hot option of spice on the side to add at my leisure.
If you’re looking for a great variety of Asian cuisine in Grand Junction, I strongly recommend trying Thai Chili & Pho restaurant!

Diner Review №58

Holy cow that’s a lot of food

Diner Review №59

Food doesn't taste good like it used to be. I got number 2 Curry like always but this time was different and no taste. Maybe they couldn't find a good cook. The people working in the restaurant are nice.

Diner Review №60

Diner Review №61

I love Thai Chili it's so good. Order their Tom-caguy soup it's the perfect blend of sweetness in a soup. Everyone is always super nice and friendly here too thank you

Diner Review №62

One of favorite places to eat!

Diner Review №63

I wish I could tell you how the food tasted but I sat there forever nobody even acknowledged my existence nobody assisted me nobody came to take my order nobody said oh we'll be right with you know no one lady turned around and went right back into the kitchen and the other two were just sitting there gossiping so you know that just sucks cuz I was starving I came to order food I came to eat but instead I have to go somewhere else highly doubtful that I will give anybody a second chance after being totally ignored and blown off

Diner Review №64

Came from Virginia to visit my sister in the hospital. She wanted something different and asked to get her food from Thai Chili. Got beef and noodle pho bowls. Delicious and plenty. Did a take out but the restaurant seemed pleasant and clean.

Diner Review №65

Really recommend, with free delivery within 10miles is amazing, thank you so much for the food and service!!!

Diner Review №66

Diner Review №67

We were very disappointed with our food. It tasted very bland, was not authentic Thai taste. Waitress did not even ask us for spice level. I love genuine Thai food. This was too Americanized for me.

Diner Review №68

Delivery is extremely slow over hour is ridiculous. Food decent though

Diner Review №69

Always a delicious meal. Quick and friendly service with affordable prices.

Diner Review №70

Diner Review №71

The service here has gone incredibly downhill since the new staff came around. All the food except appetizers was cold and our main meals were very very salty. Gave our entire family heartburn just from one bite alone.

Took the staff forever just to clear the appetizer plates out of the way, and you couldn't hear the waitress she was talking so quietly. They turned the music off so everyone was in awkward silence while eating.

I used to love eating here but I will not be returning any time soon.

Diner Review №72

Very disappointed. 1st dish, combo coconut curry, had bland flavor and tasted off. Afraid I might get sick if I continued eating.
After much discussion about having to pay for 1st dish although only took a few bites, the replacement dish, kung po chicken, was very small portion with 95% veggies, more than half the plate rice, and little chicken. Also bland flavor and not spicy at all.
PS to top it off, when I got the fortune cookie with the bill ... there was no fortune to read😂

Diner Review №73

Pad Krapao was ok but too sweet and too much gravy. My son had the Pho and the broth was not Pho broth. It tasted like basic beef broth. There was no depth to the flavor. It was lacking the hint of star anise, cinnamon and the traditional pho spices.

Diner Review №74

My son and I went into thi chili for lunch. Ordered cheese wonton, the Vietnamese bowl with beef and general chicken. The wontons were so over cooked the cheese was gone or curdled. I got my Vietnamese bowl on a plate instead of in a bowl so the sauce went everywhere and my son ended up with orange chicken instead of general sous. The server never actully stopped to ask us jow everything was she just asked as she kept walking. Never refilled drinks. Was not worth the money spent.

Diner Review №75

Diner Review №76

I won’t be back. It has changed. The food was mediocre, they raised the prices, and it your meal no longer comes with an egg roll, soup, and fried rice. Sad. I really used to love this place.

Diner Review №77

I ordered the Thai Drunken Noodles medium spicy with tofu to go. Came with Bok Choy, basil, onions, etc. Very tasty, perfectly cooked.

Diner Review №78

Got sick after eating here. The beef was undercooked/cold and the food was extremely bland. Will never be back.

Diner Review №79

My wife and I go here pretty often, great food and good service

Diner Review №80

Very tasty. I enjoy Thai food prepared correctly. This was delicious. I do not say that lightly as my DIL owns 2 restaurants in the St. Louis area and this food was comparable. Will return.

Diner Review №81

Initially received not what we ordered. Food was not the best, old and glued noodles, old and brawn sprouts...

Great place!

Diner Review №89

:-( I dropped my 5 stars for the new waitress stealing. This used to be my favorite restaurant. We were regulars. The oriental waitress was amazing and gave me the coconut soup in a cup even though it only comes in a bowl. She was awesome.
They hired some white old frumpy waitress who kept trying to upcharge us. Her older daughter was there talking to her the whole time, but "didn't work there" She overcharged us for meals, charged us twice for the jasmine tea, charged us $2 for the wanton chips that went with our soup. Usually our 3 meals costs around $60. Somehow this bill ended up being over $80. She didn't give me a break down so I had to ask, I took a picture of it and looked at it later, sure enough she stole from us. This wasn't a simple mistake. My husband being the kind human he is, tipped her about30% as he typically does. $100, eating out at ThiaChili. If they keep her there I don't think we will continue to go back. What a bummer.

I've been dining here for a couple years now. I absolutely love this restaurant. The red curry and drunken noodles are my favorite. The spice and flavor never disappoints, the servers are always kind and attentive.
This time I ordered take out, and I was very impressed by how fresh everything was.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

Diner Review №100

Excellent service and excellent food. Very clean. I had the pho for dinner and it was very good.

Diner Review №104

This is my favorite spot in Grand Junction to get my Asian food kick. I've never been disappointed in any of the entrees I've tried.

Diner Review №105

There were somethings that were good but overall I was not impressed. The two ladies that were serving were wonderful; polite attentive and demonstrated very good customer service. The price was unreasonably expensive. I won't be returning.

Diner Review №106

Diner Review №107

A truly wonderful Thai restaurant. Don't let its humble decorations fool you; the service is lightning quick, the portions are gigantic and the food is delicious. I ordered the #18 and was asked if I want it mild, hot or Thai hot. The hot option was just perfect. I ordered a Thai iced tea and was asked if I want it small or large, and was truly not prepared for how large the large was.

If you're in the area or just driving through and want some good food, I highly recommend keeping Thai Chili & Pho on your radar.

Diner Review №108

The food was really good except the host's voice. She was a little rude when taking orders and not much of people's skills. She is kind of bossy and her voice is SO loud. Other than than, food is 5 starts for me. Host needs to lower her voices a little bit and have a better approach to customers. My feedback

Diner Review №114

Had little bugs in my rice. Showed waitress and she replaced rice, nothing else was said or done. Disturbing to think what else may be off in kitchen.

Diner Review №115

Diner Review №116

I really enjoyed the food from here but the service is become an issue. I normally order delivery and the person who does phone orders is stretched way to thin or chooses not to listen. I called asking if my food was out for delivery because I ordered an hour ago and she kept asking me if I was placing an order or what I ordered and would put me on hold to take other orders. It was frustrating because the basic information was made more complicated because I was being interrupted multiple times and asked the same questions over again at the end of the conversation. I called back to let them know my food arrived so they didn’t have do anything further and was brushed off. Food service is still customer service and this sucked.

Diner Review №117

Amazing food and wonderful staff! Really hidden gem in town.

Diner Review №118

Diner Review №119

Diner Review №120

Best Pho in GJ. Can't speak for anything else on the menu because I can't stray from the pho. Staff is always friendly.

Diner Review №121

Diner Review №122

Diner Review №123

I mentioned and asked about papaya salad and the staff was clueless. Another Thai restaurant that doesn't make one of southeast Asia traditional dish. Also, I got sick after eating the Pho' I ordered. Not sure if it was from the heat I wasn't use to yet traveling but never ever did I feel ill after eating at a Thai restaurant until this one.

Diner Review №124

Diner Review №126

Diner Review №127

I love this place. Fabulous food and great service.

Diner Review №128

I could smell cigarette smoke coming from the kitchen.

The food was food? I guess 🤷

Diner Review №129

Diner Review №130

They are QUICK with your food during lunch. Everything I've tried so far is delicious.

Diner Review №131

Food and service was really good. Quick and tasteful.

Diner Review №132

Three stars for the third best Thai place in town.

Diner Review №133

Good meal, tasty strong spice. Well rounded menu with Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese options. Quick service.
Music was maybe Asian top 40, meaning modern recent radio hits from Bangkok or Singapore. Somewhat foreign to the ear.
The Sichuan sauce was not actually Sichuan, but an add-spice general blend. Too oily.
Was overcharged on bill a small amount from menu prices.
Occasionally, even with some setback issues, a restaurant experience comes out well. 5 Stars. I probably could have made a better order, arrived at a timing when my preferences would be more fully met, and may have deserved the slight gouge due to stepping on too many bugs or some other wrongdoing. I will be back and look forward to working out the fit of this nourishment resource.

Diner Review №134

Really good food, great delivery and nice folks..

Diner Review №135

Diner Review №136

This was some of the blandest food I have ever eaten. No spice or seasoning whatsoever. This gives Thai food a bad name.

Diner Review №137

Best Thai food in Grand Junction!!!!
We love it!

Diner Review №138

Food was gross service from very unhappy waitress was ridiculous sorry if you hate ur job find a different one. My husband and I felt it food tasted old or possibly spoiled. Wont bother again waste of money

Diner Review №139

Excellent food, courteous service and inexpensive.

Diner Review №140

This restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. The food is rather bland as if the chefs are trying to cater to a mass American audience. The Massaman Curry we ordered was watery, the vegetables were undercooked, and the tofu looked like it was just plopped in straight from a package. The Pad Thai noodles were so flavorless they looked completely white. I've never had fried chicken satay...I typically see it grilled. The peanut sauce was clearly cut with a bunch of corn starch. All around, this restaurant is obviously cutting a lot of corners on cost, quality, and, most disappointingly, authenticity.

Diner Review №141

Great Pho, and they deliver which is a huge plus.

Diner Review №142

Fantastic, we love this place. It's like 3 restaurants in 1 and everything's way authentic and yummy!

Diner Review №143

Very good food! Very kind and helpful.

Diner Review №144

We love Thai chili! The delivery is always so fast and food is hot when it arrives with the best service! Our go-to dishes are the walnut shrimp, beef with broccoli, and sweet and sour. Chicken. Best Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese place in town!!

Diner Review №157

Great food and service!

Diner Review №158

Been coming here for years. Always loved the food and service. Unfortunately, I went in 9/15/21 and was served spoiled food and drink. The Thai tea, which is usually sweet and delicious, was old and sour. I watched as it was poured out of a container from the fridge with an OLD can of condensed milk. I thought I was crazy when I tasted it but kept trying. I went back in to have it remade because it was so rotten. This time they used a new can of milk, but still the same spoiled tea from the fridge. It was still spoiled and disgusting. It almost had a weird sour perfume taste of rot and made me really sick. The food was spoiled, the shrimp was old and rotten, tasting very sour and fishy. I tried to enjoy the meal but couldn't stop thinking about how spoiled the food was. My noodles were over cooked and mushy. My orange chicken was obviously very old and spoiled, being very mushy and tasting funny. I hate asking for refunds but the food was so bad this time I had no choice! I sent my boyfriend in to do the deed. I was so embarrassed because I love it there. They were Super rude to him declining a refund because I had "eaten too much" of the meal. This was not possible because it was so disgusting. I did eat some because I kept trying to enjoy, kept trying to convince myself it was fine. I asked to speak to a manager and was refused with a lot of attitude and glares. Even the cook came out to explain, claiming he was new despite the woman at the desk saying he'd been there for years. The food made me very very sick the next day (I won't go into the details, but you can only imagine!) I will be contacting the health department for the serving of spoiled food. The shrimp was not fresh and had to have been days old or sat out all day. There is no way that the tea was made that day and was most definitely made days before. If they comment on this with any excuse I'd love to hear how they explain serving customer sour food and why when I simply wanted a refund we were given such a poor rude attitude despite trying to be very reasonable and polite to them. Never was allowed to speak to a manager. And unfortunately I will never be coming back to a place I've so dearly loved for many years. Their service and quality of food has truly gone to the dump! Disgusting.

Diner Review №159

The server was very sweet and helpful! The food was amazing!

Diner Review №160

Amazing food and super fast service! Highly recommend the Masaman curry and Thai Tea. I am very picky about my chicken and theirs is perfect!

Diner Review №161

Diner Review №162

Good variety of asian dishes. Food is fresh and week played. The steamed rice was especially good! Prices are reasonable and service is great.I will continue to go back.

Diner Review №163

Food was not good, but service was fine.

Diner Review №164

The older asian lady is very rude! The younger ones are nicer if you get them.

Diner Review №165

Not much on menu for vegetarians. I ordered Moo Goo Gai Pan with tofu instead of chicken. What I got was tofu with onions. Green onions, purple onions, yellow onions. Tofu was tasty and although I like onions, I was really looking forward to the pea pods , mushrooms and other vegetable that are customary in Moo Goo Gain Pan. I wasn't impressed with their vegetarian spring rolls with what was supposed to be "peanut sauce". They were tough and bland. My sister had sweet and sour shrimp and she liked hers. No one ever came back to ask if our meal was ok.

Diner Review №166

Diner Review №167

Fantastic place for lunch or dinner. I highly recommend the pot stickers.

Diner Review №168

Great food, large portions, and prompt service. The pad kee maw was great, can't wait to try the pho next time.

Diner Review №169

My visit must have been at an off time because the food was not good. I wish I would have taken photos of the food but it looked like your typical Thai/Chinese food. The sauces were too sweet, the egg rolls and spring rolls were underwhelming and not full enough and only one dish had tender meat. Will definitely need to try again but for now it’s not looking good.

Diner Review №186

We ordered quite a variety of different foods. It was all amazing! Everything came out quickly and the service was great. We will be back!

Diner Review №187

The food is great here the lady's that take your orders are really nice an some are funny really great to talk to. It's just sometimes the man that also works in the kitchen or on the phone is very rude when you ask him questions he acts like you should know the answer to them. Not good for Business. 5⭐ for the food.

Diner Review №188

The food and the service is great! The people there are very polite and they serve rations that I couldn’t even finish. As for delivery, there is a fee for travel distances over 3 miles and I’m ok with that. Though the name suggests Thai food, there are also popular Chinese and Vietnamese dishes. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others.

Diner Review №189

We made a big order and sent someone to go get it because they were having trouble delivering. Then when our person that we dedicated to go get it went there they said it wasn't ready so she left went somewhere else come back and they had given her food to someone else. So they went to remake it. When are dedicated person came back to get the food they were laughing and giggling about the messed up order in her face and then she did not check the order when she got back to the house it was shorted three meals she called the manager and the manager hung up on her do not go there whatsoever horrible horrible service horrible people
