Really tasty food! Crab rangoons, dumpling coconut soup, and the chef oats Indian green curry. Rangoons we’re soft but still crispy, and the dumpling soup had a lot of meat in it and good flavor.
The curry was really good, the spice was there but didn’t overwhelm the entire plate. Jasmine rice came as a side and a nice portion as well. Worth the money, spoke with the owner and very pleasant conversation and atmosphere. 5/5. Will return, just tucked in at the left side of the boulevard shops.
I heard so much about this place so we stopped in for an early dinner. We were greeted with sincere warmth and after reading the very extensive menu decided on crab rangoon, naan quesadilla, Hawaiian fried rice and some of the best curry we’ve ever had. Everything was delicious and well prepared. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and pleasant conversation with the owner. Thank you so much. We will definitely be back and tell all of our friends!
The food here is truly fantastic! Everything is cooked to-order and fresh. I got the spicy spaghetti, which is a take on drunken noodles, and it was a huge portion and very flavorful. The couple running the place could not be nicer and they're very dedicated to creating a great experience. The restaurant is tucked back in a strip of businesses so it can be easy to miss, but it's so worth stopping in!
Absolutely incredible restaurant run by the sweetest family I’ve ever met. John was so wonderfully accommodating with big group reservations and allergens, and Chef Oat is an absolute powerhouse in the kitchen.
The spicy spaghetti, momos, naan quesadilla, and Panang curry are the best dishes I’ve had in a very long time. Will definitely be returning as soon as I can!
Went here for dinner after finding them on Yelp. The food was delicious and could tell everything was homemade.
We had the dumplings, the samosas, the crispy fried pork belly, the shrimp tacos and the Hawaiian tsunami rice.
The samosas was definitely my favorite. They were crispy and were full of filling. The homemade chilli sauce was sweet and spicy, I couldn't get enough of it.
If you have the chance to stop down you won't be disappointed.
This place is absolutely amazing. It’s run by a husband, wife who cooks, and their cute little kid who helps out and they could not be nicer people! The food is all completely homemade, from scratch, made to order, and absolutely fantastic. Really I can’t say enough good things about this place. Their menu has got a bit of everything so there really is something for every palette, and trust me I can be pretty picky so it was great. My family and I were fans of the family run Mexican place that was at this location before and we were really sad to see it go. I would absolutely HATE for another ma and pa’s restaurant with amazing food, run by great people just trying to make ends meet and provide for themselves and the community go by the wayside for no reason. I’m serious, this place is worth it. Please, please give it a try, I promise it will deliver.
I wish I could give this review even more stars! Wow, what a delicious meal I just had. This place offers 5 different cuisines: Indian, Italian, Mexican, American and Thai. Heck they could have even more; the menu was huge and filled with endless options each sounding delicious and full of flavor.
We started off with 2 appetizers: Panko Crusted Fried Zucchini and Vegetarian Potato Samosas. We ordered both sauces that came with it plus ranch which we didn’t even need because the avocado and chili sauces are star components to these dishes. The flavor profile was on point!!!
For dinner we ordered Naan Quesadilla with Southern Fried Chicken and Angus Prime Beef Tacos. I’m trying to keep this post G-rated but holy moly was it frackin delicious!!!! Do yourself a favor and order the avocado sauce with both of these dishes! The fried chicken in the naan quesadilla was crispy and savory with sweet hints filled with fresh produce. The angus prime beef taco was cooked to perfection and each bite was filled with the perfect amount of flavor and freshness.
I sat there raving about my meal and excited to return to try more dishes. I don’t know how they’ll top it but I’m sure they will. This place is the real deal.
Treat yourself and say with me, TIME-OUT, TIME EAT! Bomb.com
Absolutely wonderful experience. Dinner portions are a bit expensive, but portions are plentiful for the experience and leave enough for another meal the next day. All for is made to order, but wait is not excessive. Waiter (the chefs husband) was the kindest person I’ve interacted and service was impeccable.
Food was absolutely fantastic. Menu is sporadic but everything our table ordered was fantastic. Co-owner explained that another restaurant in the strip has exclusivity for Asian names and menu items.
Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be returning
HIDDEN GEM ALERT, SOUTH HILLS OF PICKSBURGH!!! Go here the next time you can’t think of any new places to try and you’re tired of the same old mess around tahn! Serving a very eclectic menu of Thai/Indian/American influenced dishes, and everything is homemade and absolutely delicious. We started off with crab rangoon and Momo’s dumplings, both were better than any Asian restaurant we’ve had in our area. I could have made a meal out of the dumplings themselves, and the crab rangoon are made with real crab. My main course was a pulled pork burrito and I added pickled jalapeños. My girlfriend got tikka masala, and both were cooked and seasoned to perfection. I’ve worked in many restaurants and know when someone is cooking with love, and the chef here knows her stuff. We will definitely be returning to sample more of this delicious and tasty menu. It’s like going over someone’s house and eating a wonderful home cooked meal, and their parent is secretly a really awesome chef. This place is owned/run by a husband and wife team, who are very gracious, welcoming, and friendly hosts. They serve Coke products too, if you needed another reason to like this place.
Love this place, the owner’s and the truly homemade cuisine ❤️
Absolutely amazing restaurant! Everything is cooked fresh and to your liking. Food comes out quick and delicious every time. This place is truly a hidden gem.
Absolutely phenomenal and we will be back!!! Such a great find
We came here for my sister's birthday and ordered crab Rangoon, fried pork belly, vegetable samosa, momo dumplings, red, yellow, and green curries, and also the spicy noodles. The crab Rangoon and fried porkbelly were our table's favorites and the momo dumplings were super tender. The fried chicken breast on the spicy noodles were very tender 😋 overall a fantastic experience at a super friendly family owned restaurant. Would highly recommend!
This food was bussin! Best fried rice I’ve ever had!!! Stopped in to get some dinner. Everyone was super friendly and the food was absolutely excellent. I definitely recommend if you’re in the area!
Truly a hidden gem and sadly closing in a few weeks. They have a fun and unique menu and all the food TASTES made to order and homemade. And the owners are just delightful and kind people. It's a shame that in a sea of generic restaurants that a great spot like this doesn't get more recognition. Everything's good but the momos and the fried pork belly were definitely the standouts for me! If you like your pork belly fatty, crispy, and perfectly fried then you gotta try theirs. Come give them a try and give them some love before they close! They truly deserve it.
An amazing husband and wife team run this restaurant. It’s some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The chef panang with fried chicken is to die for. I’m so happy my husband and I found this hidden gem.
My husband and I decided to go somewhere new instead of heading to one of our go-to restaurants and I'm so glad we did! The whole experience was delightful! We were greeted with a warm smile and nice conversation from the owner who gave us a little back story on his wife, Chef Oat.
The menu is eclectic, but it works! We had crab Rangoon, empanadas, pork belly, dumplings, and curry. Everything was so fresh and delicious! There was an attention to detail that you don't find very often. The homemade sauces so delicious, I could eat them with a spoon (they are hoping to eventually sell bottles of Chef Oat's sauces and I really, really hope this happens).
Lastly, if you're a fan of spicy dishes, you must try the curry! It's a nice, layered heat that builds, not the kind that comes from just adding a bunch of chili flakes to the dish.
If you're in the neighborhood, don't pass this lovely family restaurant up!
Very friendly husband and wife team run the place, and make great made-to-order food. We tried out all of their dumplings with our first visit, and really enjoyed how well done they were and the variety of dips/sauces!
I can’t believe what I’ve been missing!! This wonderful family restaurant is a gem! Don’t miss it. Great food, service, and attention to detail.
The food here is truly fantastic! Everything is cooked to-order and fresh. I got the spicy spaghetti, which is a take on drunken noodles, and it was a huge portion and very flavorful. Excellent food. Friendly service. Highly recommend.
Such amazing food! Chef Oat cooks absolutely delicious food and John's service is so so so friendly! We absolutely loved the momos (ordered an extra serving because it was so good!), fried rice, and panang curry! We were repeatedly shocked by the quality of the food here and will definitely be back! Thanks for the wonderful dinner! <3
Nicest family in the world. Food was all amazing. We'll be back for sure
Chef Oat is incredible!! We LOVE the momo dumplings and the panang curry!! The best I’ve had in Pennsylvania :)
One of the best thai places I've been to. The curry, fried rices, dumplings are so good!
Service is great. But food is way too salty. And the big fried chicken breast fillets are no longer available.
🤌
Best Spicy Spaghetti! Love this place 💕
The food is fabulous. Service is wonderful. The owners go out of their way to make sure you are happy with your meal.
Great food, great service, everything I ever ate here was amazing and all the Thai food is perfection, you can tell the chef really takes time to prepare the meals,
I have heard a lot of really great things about this place and have been wanting to try it. I am so glad I finally did. The food is so interesting and unique, but more importantly absolutely delicious. The owners are so kind and make you feel welcome. It's a small operation, and it's obvious that it's run with love and care. I highly recommend checking this place out. I'm already planning my next visit because there's so much more on the menu I'm dying to try. Cheers!
Everything was amazing and authentic !!
A great find for excellent food and service! The chef cooks everything from scratch and our meals were delicious and satisfying. And, a real boon is that they can accommodate a vegan diet. We will definitely visit them again. A special thank you to John who was friendly and efficient in serving our dinners.
The food is wonderful and the owners are lovely.
The yellow curry was delicious! Friendly, welcoming service and esoteric variety! Don’t miss this place!
Pork dumpling soup was good
I heard so much about this place so we stopped in for an early dinner.
Wanted to grab dinner with friends after work, and they suggested this place. They said it was amazing and I had to try it out. They were not wrong. It was absolutely fantastic. Tried the potato samosas, momos with pork, panang curry with fried pork belly, and the banana rolls. 10/10 across the board. Would love to try more, but it will be hard to pull me away from the curry. It's incredible how much flavor was packed into that.
In addition, the owner was a wonderful server. Very attentive and really wanted to make sure we had the best experience possible. I love local 'mom and pop' places and will always root for them. The TLC given at these places is unmatched. I will be raving about this place to all my coworkers and anyone willing to listen haha.
Thanks.
Everything was fresh and amazing! We're visiting from Seattle and are pretty spoiled when it comes to food, and all of the flavors here are very well balanced and delicious.
Our favorite items we tried were the potato samosas, the crab rangoons, and the coconut milk chicken noodle soup (my husband said he'll be dreaming about that one).
The mixed seafood spaghetti (more of a sweet and spicy stir fry sauce) was also incredible, and all of the seafood components were perfectly cooked.
The owners are so nice, the service was attentive, friendly, and thorough. If you haven't given this spot a shot, we highly recommend!
This place is absolutely amazing. It’s run by a husband, wife who cooks, and their cute little kid who helps out and they could not be nicer people! Just wow. The food and the hospitality here are as freakin' good as all the reviews suggest. Go, you will *not* be disappointed. The southern fried pork belly on the Hawaiian bacon fried rice - epic. The chicken tikka masala with the perfect amount of coconut milk in the sauce - heaven. Mixing the sauce and the fried rice - just absolutely insane. Seriously, why are you still reading this review?
Absolutely wonderful experience. Dinner portions are a bit expensive, but portions are plentiful for the experience and leave enough for another meal the next day. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be returning
Fantastic crab rangoon! Naan Quesadilla was also amazing
Delicious food
Great food. Well worth the price. Nice relaxing, quiet atmosphere.
Visited based on a Reddit recommendation. The Tsunami Fried Rice was excellent, well seasoned and spiced. Large portions. The vegetarian samosas were served in egg roll wrappers. Great flavor, if a little sweet. The owner/server was very attentive and answered our questions well.
My vegetarian fiancée enjoyed the Naan quesadilla. Chef Oat was happy to make all the requested modifications.
Great experience. Excellent food! We got two entrees and a appetizer of dumplings. Everything was fresh and tasted excellent. Great service!
This restaurant is truly a hidden gem of Pittsburgh. The food is all fresh and homemade and tastes delicious. The Thai influenced flavors and spice were spectacular and the owner(s) were extremely kind. Even if you aren't a hugely adventurous eater, you can customize basically anything about the fish so it's worth a try!
We'll definitely be coming back and bringing our friends whenever possible!
Excellent food and lovely service. Will return!
I'm from out of town and some friends brought me by. The service, atmosphere and food are all fantastic. John is a wonderful man, and the Thai curry is spicy and delicious.
The food is always fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly!
First of all, the customer service is absolutely phenomenal. But the food! The homemade crab rangoons are delicious. You can tell it’s homemade and it’s delicious!
My fiance and I went there and we loved it. I especially like that it's a family business ran by a husband (server)and wife (chef). He was very friendly and informative about the menu.We started with the crab rangoons and they were delicious as were the sauces. My fiance got the naan quesadilla with pork belly and I got the seafood medley red curry, both were cooked to perfection and delicious. We got the mango rolls for dessert and loved them. I will definitely be back and can't wait to try other dishes.
Always a good meal with super friendly staff. A real hidden gem of the area that deserves to be more well known. Be sure to give it a try.
Food was amazing and service was great!!!! 10/10
We really enjoyed our meal. John answered all of our questions. The crab Rangoon and momo were fantastic. My husband loved his yellow curry. I'm not a big fan of curry but I agree it was great. I ordered the pork dumpling coconut milk soup, so flavorful, enjoyed every bite. The person next to us raved about his spicy spaghetti. Might try that next time. We'll definitely go back.
Both had curry, some of the best flavor ever. Super nice dude
Great food and very friendly owners! Looking forward to coming back to try more things
This was my first time eating here - I ordered potato samosas, coconut dumpling soup, and panang curry. Everything was fantastic and the soup especially was to die for! I’ll be back!
Finally went here on the recommendation from some friends, and I wish I had gone sooner. Chef Oat’s food is tremendous, and her husband John couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming as our host and server. My wife had the Panang, my daughter the tikka masala, and I had the yellow curry. We were all blown away. The dumplings and spicy sauce we had for an appetizer were among the best I’ve ever had, as was my yellow curry chicken. This place is not to be missed. We will definitely be back.
The food is very good. I will be back soon
This place has not disappointed. I have been here on multiple occasions and the food and service have been top notch. My wife ordered the red curry, I got the spicy spaghetti. The decision was hard on if I wanted to take home left overs or enjoy it all in the restaurant. Needless to say we left with no to go boxes. Please do yourself a favor and enjoy this amazing spot.
Amazing food, only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars, is because it’s my first time trying Thai food. Really friendly and understanding people, and catered to me like no other. Will 100% be back!
We've been wanting to try Time Out Time Eat ever since we moved back. We finally got there tonight and it was awesome! From the warm and inviting atmosphere, the delicious food, to John being kind and acoomadating, it did not disappoint. We will be back! So glad we finally tried it.
In a world where everything around us is increasingly artless and unoriginal, Time Out TIme Eat is here to remind us how special it is when someone truly cares about the work they do.
Coming to Time Out Time Eat is like coming to a loved one's home for a meal. Chef Oat has created a totally unique menu, mingling elements of Thai, Mexican, American and other cuisines in recipes she's perfected over many years. John is a warm, friendly, and attentive server and owner.
This is a family business in the truest sense. When I complimented Oat and John's young daughter's drawing on the wall, they invited me into the kitchen to see the impressive gallery of her work that makes up the entire front wall. My heart grew three sizes at the sight.
I've heard people say they hesitate over the unusual restaurant name or the unusual combination of cuisines. To these people I say: live a little. Most things worth doing take a person outside of their comfort zone.
Time Out Time Eat exemplifies the spirit of Pittsburgh: humble and unassuming on the surface, with rich depths to reward those who take the time to step inside. I waited far, far too long to try out this fabulous restaurant. Don't make the same mistake I did!
Everything we ate here was delicious from the Crab Rangoons, the fried rice, and the curry. We can't wait to go back.
I had a yellow curry with fried chicken, cooked to order for my entree and the crab Rangoon for an appetizer; I can honestly say that both were sublime and of the best I have ever had, if not best. I will be returning and I highly recommend Time Out Time Eat for a top tier gastronomic experience.
Absolutely excellent and unique food. Excellent service.
You will not regret eating here. All of the food is personally made by John’s wife after you order and they will customize it to your liking. I highly recommend the Crab Rangoon’s and the spicy spaghetti. We also want to try their curries and dumplings next time. Great food and great service from a family that really cares about their business. We will definitely be back!
Wow this place was amazing! I would've taken pictures of the fold but I was too busy shoving it into my mouth 🤣 all homemade and very fresh! The owners are super friendly too and it honestly feels like a hidden gem. I can't wait to go back again!
My husband and I tried this place last night for the first time. We absolutely LOVED it! The food was absolutely amazing! The owners and their adorable daughter were so wonderful and so nice to talk to! If you haven’t been please try it out! We can’t wait for our next date night!!
One of the most flavorful meals I've had in years. Absolutely delicious.
The best yellow curry I’ve had in years!
I heard of this place thanks to someone I know from a CMU Discord server, and it was fantastic. A nice quaint joint run by a husband, wife, and daughter with great food. I went out with my parents and we ordered the crab rangoon and pineapple bacon fried rice as our appetizers. The fried rice was wonderful and the crab rangoons were pretty good, I just wish they had a bit more crab in them, but regardless of that it's still super solid. The rangoons come with tasty sweet chili and/or spicy mango sauces.
After the apps, we all got curry as our entrees and I think the flavor profile surprised all 3 of us. It just tasted like it was homemade and had love put into it. We had a yellow curry, red curry, and tikka masala, and each one had such a unique sweetness and spiciness to it, it was just wonderful. I would share photos of the food, but we were all so hungry haha.
Shout outs to the owner/waiter as well, he's a super nice guy and is very helpful. If given the chance, I would love to eat here again
The staff is extremely personable and kind. Their food is outstanding, you cant go wrong with anything on the menu, seriously. I’m so glad this is so close to me- I would recommend Time Out Time Eat to anyone!
A truly unassuming front with a hidden gem inside.
It was a wonderful experience! Took my husband out for a sporadic date night, and we ended up here. We had been suggested this place a few times and we fell in love.
The FOH person is the husband to the chef and was such a kind/ fun person to talk to. He explained everything well and once we heard "fresh ingredients" and "made to order" we were stoked.
It was well paced from appetizers to dessert and the Thai fusion was phenomenal.
Our appetizer was the Angus Beef Quesodilla - amazing, well balanced flavors.
My dinner was the yellow curry with seafood melody at level 3 spice - I went to heaven.
Husband had Dumpling Soup at a level 5 spice- he didn't say a word in between start to finish, so it was a solid choice in his book.
And the banana dessert rolls - were so good that I wish I could've eat 8 more.
Tldr; I wish I took pics but the food was so good I didn't stop to do so.
Also just go here 💖
The food was so good, what a wonderful take of Thai-Spanish fusion. The banana rolls are SO freaking good. Definitely coming back here.
Everything was delicious.
One of my favorite local places. They have the best curries and some delicious twists on old standards, like fried rice. My dad loves the bacon pineapple fried rice. I’m always torn between working my way through trying the menu and the things I know and already love.
This place is such a pleasant surprise, it is the best spot to eat in Pittsburgh if not ever. I love it here and will crave it all the time!!! The crab Rangoon's are insane the flavors with every plate are top tier
Great food and location. We will definitely be back. We liked the spicy spaghetti!
Came for dinner. Everything is cooked fresh after order, and it definitely tasted amazing. We got the fried rice and chef special noodles, both were delicious. We're definitely planning to come back, would highly recommend
If you like Thai food, this is your place. The chicken quesadilla was very good. The taco sauce and homemade avocado sauce were a perfect match for the quesadilla. We enjoyed talking to our server who was also the owner!
Atmosphere felt like I was at home and I suffer from severe social anxiety. You can really tell they take pride in their work by going above and beyond for their customers. Everything is made to order and will even fit your needs by adding or leaving out certain ingredients to ensure you’re getting the best meal. Very affordable and they’re honestly great people! Support your local small businesses. Definitely can feed 2 people for way less than $50
An absolute gem. Amazing food, kind people & cool atmosphere. Come eat curry!
Fantastic. Curry and chicken noodle soup is a great choice!
Excellent, eclectic, delicious made-to-order menu. Family owned and operated; great atmosphere. You'll be pleased!!
This place is a must try… so my husband and I moved here from queens New York in 2017.. we searched everywhere from Jamaican food to Haitian food
Spanish food American food
Asian food etc all over Pittsburgh & im a big foodie person. This is the only place that has shock me & my taste buds…. This is the best place I have been to since living here.. trust me when I said being from New York and traveling to many countries and states my taste buds have already experienced different cultural food and spice & this business is the best by far here in Pittsburgh…. Been so long since I had some good food that I really enjoy & very to have leftovers for the morning and afternoon prices are great food taste fresh, John is super great and the chef did an amazing job… I am very impressed with their food….. you must try I will be ordering a lot more and doing a YouTube review I will update you all with the link. Great place with great food. Their samosas and curries are outstanding.
The coconut milk soup is probably the best soup I’ve ever had. The food has so much heart. We eat here regularly.
I had never thought to make a quesadilla with naan but it works! friendly staff and good food, would definitely recommend
I love this restaurant. My husband and I have ordered food here (dine in or take out) 10 or more times since opening. The food is always fresh, made to order, and delicious. The family that owns it is very kind and caring. I enjoy going there and taking out food each and every time. We’ve ordered take out for our extended family too, and they all loved it. I highly recommend the curries and the coconut milk soup. You can taste all the flavors. The apps and desserts are fabulous too. Will be back!
Wow! Chef Oat is amazing! On my most recent visit I had the grilled vegetables, and added chicken. Such a basic dish, but what she does to bring out the flavor is a work of art. I liked that our waiter recommend that I didn't get overly ambitious with the heat... a "3" was plenty spicy for me. We also had the EXCELLENT home made crab rangoons as an appetizer. In the past, I've had Chef Oat's crispy chicken with pineapple, and several of her soups. She is truly talented!
This place was great!! Tsunami fried rice was GREAT!!!
This place was phenomenal -- everything tasted so fresh and was full of flavor -- everything on the menu is customizable too which is awesome. I had the dumplings, yellow curry, and Hawaiian fried rice. This place is so unique, and the service was excellent -- the husband and wife that run this place are such nice people. I couldn't recommend this place anymore -- support this local business and your tastebuds if you ever want a great hearty meal!
Food was fantastic! Johnathan (owns with his wife) waited on us and his wife cooked in the back. We had a great time! He took such good care of us!
Unbelievable curry, the best I’ve ever had. Try them all, you can’t go wrong
Never disappointed! Food and service is amazing!
I stopped by here because it’s down the street from the church I’m working on and when I tell you I’m so happy I did, ooof!! Their spicy spaghetti was full of flavor, I got the 6-7 spice level and it was just right!! Highly recommend and will be back to try their entire menu! John & Chef Oat has something really special here! Thank you 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. We had a bunch of different stuff and everything was great. The dumplings were delicious! Great for sharing as an app or a meal on its own. I had the spicy spaghetti with the shrimp. So much flavour with the right amount of kick. My pops had the aloha seafood medley which he enjoyed so much!! More important than anything, the family that runs this place is super friendly and welcoming. If you don’t come here, you’re missing out. Easy 5 stars!!
My family and I had a wonderful experience here! The food was just absolutely delicious. We got a variety of things and one was just better than the next. The owners were so kind and friendly and explained the menu clearly. We will be back!
The food was delicious. It does take a while to get your food, but it is worth the wait! All fresh, homemade, delicious food. Choose your spice level and what you want in your meal. The server is so kind and great with the kids. We LOVE it here!!!!
Had mixed veggies and beef with a spice level between 2-3. It was phenomenal. Side of rice was fantastic too. Once I started eating I didn’t put my fork done until the food was gone. Dumplings were the best I’ve ever had anywhere I’ve ever lived. They are that good.
There are enough pictures of the food. I thought we’d take a picture of our empty plates because you will not stop eating until the food is gone.
Delicious 😋 From our appetizers to dessert, everything was fantastic. If you like dumplings, get theirs, they are one of the best we've had! Wonderful family run business.
First time I've ever had curry and I loved it! The samosa was so good that we ordered another round. The owners were so nice and we cant wait to come back.
Absolutely fantastic restaurant! The curry is so good and the dumplings are the best in Pittsburgh that I've had. Everything we ordered was delicious. If you haven't visited, you 100% need to. Don't miss out!
I love this restaurant. Everything has been absolutely delicious but the green curry is fabulous. Everything about this place is great. The owners are wonderful. A must try!
Outstanding food & service. The staff was unbelievably friendly and the food was phenomenal. We will definitely be back!
They were very accommodating for our large party of twelve. The food was amazing! There were great options for both no spice and spicy dishes. Great service, very welcoming, delicious food!
Absolutely delicious food and even better service!
One of the best restaurants I’ve ever tried, seriously. Family-owned, unique and delicious foods (naan quesadilla is amazing), and I can’t wait until I have the chance to go back.
This is a hidden gem in Mt. Lebanon. Family run restuarant with great food and serice.
They are famliy Friendly they have a little girl helps bring food out she so Adorable an they are really nice an kind an good people they have really good food an its home made u wouldn't want to go any where else they make u feel at home when I'm in Pittsburgh am going to time in N time eat am making them my Number one restaurant an my star rating Is infinity they get more than 5 stars from me
Food was great!! Fresh vegs, great sauce, lots of options! Attentive, friendly service.
Food was amazing! Crab rangoons made fresh including the sauce. The yellow curry was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed and will be back, recommend to anyone
Wonderful food. Super fresh! Made to order. We will definitely be back!
Delicious. Chef Oat is able to modify most dishes to be vegetarian. I loved this about the restaurant - that dishes are not pre-made - and veggie options abound. The fried zucchini was substantial and creamy, the curries were flavorful, and the spicy spaghetti was made-to-order vegetarian. The have a lot of beers on tap, including some from Fat Heads (if you like IPAs). Very family friendly and open space. Will be going back soon!
Staff were very friendly, food was amazing.
Their food was delicious. The Hawaiian fried rice was amazing. I would recommend this place.
The most incredible food! My husband and I frequently order here, and the food is delicious. The quality never waivers. My favorite is the naan quesadilla, the avocado cream sauce is amazing. I’ve had crab Rangoons from many restaurants in the area, and there is no doubt that they make the best. If you like crab rangoons, don’t forget to add to your order! You won’t regret it. The family who runs it is also extremely kind and is deserving of all the support!
Yellow curry and crab rangoon are amazing. Can’t wait to come back.
Time out time eat is the absolute best restaurant in the entire city of Pittsburgh. The food is amazing. It's made here, it's made better than anywhere else. Pick a dish, any dish and it's a winner! Dine in, take out, always consistent.
How often do you think about the food you ate the night before and realize that you have leftovers and can’t wait to eat them. We ate here for the first time. It far exceeded our expectations. Wow the food is amazing. We had a Hawaiian bacon mixed grill with chicken and Naan quesadillas. You pick the spice level. It was perfect! They also have a full bar with great prices! We will definitely be back.
So delicious. We got crab rangoons and momo dumplings as appetizers and they were so delicious. The food all came out so quickly and tasted so fresh. Our meals were all amazing. We all cleaned our plates. We found this place by chance and we will be back for sure.
Please try this amazing restaurant! It is so fresh and exciting-combining eastern and western cuisine in an unassuming but delicious way. If this restaurant were downtown, it would be written up in NY Times and we wouldn’t be able to afford it. ❤️❤️
AMAZING food, great prices, absolutely lovely service!
Great portions, perfectly spiced. The sauces were great! Need to try more items from the menu!
Loved the restaurant and the owners are wonderful. Everything is homemade to order so fresh food. Nice size portions. Amazing! Highly recommend you try it!
excellent food and service!!
Make sure to try some of the innovative and delicious homemade sauces like the spicy mango dipping sauce for the crab Rangoon. Everything was fresh and delicious with well balanced flavors.
This place was awesome! I got the yellow curry (GF), my spouse got the spicy spaghetti, and our LO got the kids quesadilla. The spice levels are accurate and the food was the perfect portion size. It's a wife/husband owner team, with the former being the amazing chef and the latter being the server/bartender. It was only them 2, and with the wife cooking everything fresh, made to order, it was a little slow with all the to go orders being placed. BUT the wait was worth it.
Had an absolutely wonderful meal that was extremely flavorful, cooked to my order, and the meat was very tender. Service had that personal touch, warm and friendly. Looking forward to eating there again soon!
We have heard nothing but great things and finally made it in to eat and it did not disappoint! They are unbelievably friendly and helpful and everything we ordered was so good. We got the spicy spaghetti, tikka masala, fried shrimp app, and a cheese quesadilla. We can’t wait to go back- definitely going to be a regular spot for us.
Absolutely loved everything we ordered. Fresh. Delicious. Made with love. We especially loved the Crab Rangoons, Mango Rolls, and Naan Quesadilla. Most attentive customer service and excellent family friendly environment!
Amazing food and even better service! I love this place!!!
What a great place, great atmosphere. Amazing dishes and value for the price. John is a great host. I highly recommend them.
Great dinner! Best pork dumplings I’ve ever had. Dining here was an experience not just a meal.. Highly recommend!
The food was amazing!
Food was amazing! Best crab rangoons and the naan quesadilla was simply amazing!!!
This place is truly a hidden gem! The food is delicious and they have some unique flavor combinations that are so tasty. I had the naan quesadilla and I’ve never had anything like it and it was so good. The owners and servers are so kind and friendly and I can’t wait to go back and try another dish!
Found this little gem when we moved into the apartment building up the hill. Fell in love with it and can’t get enough! Chef Oats crab Rangoons are like no others! You’ll never be able to order them from anywhere else after having them from here. We also LOVE their tiki masala! Great place, great family, you won’t regret stopping in, everything is always amazing!
Delicious food, friendly service, warm and comfortable space, family-owned. Amazing southern fried pork belly appetizer. What’s not to like?!
Great Thai curries! We had green and panang and both were excellent. The momo was also delicious.
Came here on a whim and was thoroughly impressed. The crab rangoons and momo dumplings were some of the best I ever had and the owner was super friendly and welcome. Definitely will be coming back in the future.
I came here with family and each of us got something different off the menu. Everything was A M A Z I N G !!! I can’t wait to come back. The staff was so sweet. Also, for everything being made on the spot it came out pretty quick!
Went there for a Tuesday date night and had the most awesome experience! Food and service were great ... will be back.
Excellent food and fun, friendly service. Fried chicken green curry was just the right spice level as ordered. Crab rangoons may be some of the best I've had. Everything was cooked fresh and made to order.
Great food, friendly staff, good ambiance.
One of our favorites. Spicy spaghetti, tsunami rice, crab rangoons. Service is always attentive. Go eat here!
Tikka masala and yellow curry are INCREDIBLE. Dumplings were a big hit as well. Warm, welcoming owners. Great family experience.
Wonderful hospitality and excellent cuisine.
My first visit here was three weeks ago. Had out of town guests for the following two weekends and returned both times. Each group was amazed. I have tried something new every time and tasted others meals. The variety pleases all from green curry, seafood medley, spicy spaghetti, Hawaiian bacon fried rice, and crab rangoons. Every meal has been unique with great taste and quality. This is a family owned and operated business and they prepare and serve your meal as if you are an honored guest in their home. You will not be disappointed!
We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The menu has a unique flair with crab Rangoon with a spicy mango sauce that was to die for. We all ordered something different and shared. Nothing disappointed. We had spicy spaghetti, unexpectedly different but very good, Hawaiian and bacon fried rice. I ordered the seafood special and asked for no calamari. The owner said that the chef makes calamari like no one else. He was right. The calamari was tender and delicious. We even got to talk to Chef Oates. She prepares or oversees all meals. It is so nice to know who is preparing the food and that the food will remain consistently good!
Stopped in with the family for lunch today. Kids loved their quesadillas and we all devoured the momo pork dumplings!! My husband and I also loved our red curry. Best curry around! Thanks for a wonderful lunch!
Unique great food cooked to order and friendly service! We will be back to support this local business! My husband had the dumplings and I had the Naan quesadilla with corn, pineapple , and chicken.
Got take out for the first time this weeks Fantastic and personable service. Udon were perfectly chewy, just the right spice/sweet/salt. Bacon Fried Rice was great! Super soulful and a great gem in the Lebo shops. Will be back (and back and back).
Came her for dinner… my husband and I had the momo dumplings, crispy fried shrimp, crab rangoons, fried juice pork belly and Panang curry with beef. For dessert we shared the mango rolls. EVERYTHING we had was amazing. Made fresh and very good quality. Lots of sauces for dipping the appetizers and service was amazing. Definitely our new “spot.”
The environment was exceedingly friendly, and the food was very flavorful and unusually on the mark in terms of spice level. This is definitely worth a return visit.
Have eaten here many times and had many different things off the menu. Crab rangoons are my favorite appetizer and all of the specials are phenomenal. Naan quesadilla with multiple homemade sauces is to die for. If I could eat here every day I would.
Food was delicious! This is my new favorite spot!
I could eat here everyday! Homemade, Fresh, and wonderful! Try their homemade crab rangoons! The naan quesadilla was perfect. Definitely try this family owned and operated restaurant!
Great little hidden gem! The reviews don’t lie, the food is made to order and tastes amazing. Some of the best crab Rangoon I’ve had and the squid was cooked perfectly! The samosas, aloha seafood medley, and all of the above was delicious, highly recommend!
Our first time and it was excellent!! If you love Thai or Asian type food, this is the place to go. Food is freshly made, so takes a little time but worth the wait. Service is great! And prices are reasonable. Go and enjoy! Compliments to Chef Oats🥰😋
Crab Rangoons
These were fantastic. The crab flavour comes through much more strongly than most other restaurants.
Light, flaky, and crisp this is now my preffered place for crab rangoons in Pittsburgh .
Spicy Spaghetti Dinner Chef's Specialty
This is the dish to get in my humble opinion. It reminded me a lot of incredibly high quality lo mein or stir fry with thicker noodles, crisp veggies and loads of sauce.
I got mine with the pork belly and it is delectable. Moist and crunchy but not greasy or oily. A spice level 8 seems to be perfect for me, but it is well deserving of the spicy moniker. Absolutely delicious.
Amazing food and service! Highly recommended the tsunami fried rice.
Everything is always amazing and delicious!
Always delicious! Friendly, personal service. Crab rangoons, fried shrimp tacos, and Hawaiian bacon fried rice are favorites!
Unique menu with many different options. Food was very good and reasonably priced
Owner was very friendly and food was delicious
It was great, came in not knowing what to expect but the service was great and the food was amazing.
Super nice vibe and energy
Amazing, an awesome variety of American and Asian foods that were just delicious. Chef Oat delivered our food personally and you could feel she was genuinely happy that we enjoyed her cooking. Could not recommend this place more!!!!!!
The food here is incredibly good, highly recommend…will be eating here again soon:)
