Compact restaurant offers traditional French & Thai cooking including seafood & noodles dishes.
Beautiful place. Lovely food. We ordered Basil rice, drunken noodles, red curry and a soup in the beginning. Mango Sticky rice was a bit dry so you might want to see how you like it. Good portion sizes. Very authentic. Good service. Considering this place is in Media on the Main St, prices could be higher than some other places but it is worth it. We had an amazing experience with the spice level adjusted to our taste based on our request. Although there were very few people on a weekday late night, we were very well treated.
Always excellent food, excellent service, fair prices. Cozy atmosphere, yet classy. Always greeted with prompt, courteous service. Have never been disappointed with what I have ordered, and have been here several times now. Would recommend as a spot to try if hitting the Media restaurant scene.
This place has excellent food and excellent service. I asked if they could make me steamed vegetables with rice and tamarind sauce--and they did no problem. The green papaya salad was tangy and spicy. Others I was with had the pineapple fried rice and the massaman curry with tofu--both got a thumbs up. Also, the banana dessert was a winner.
I love this place. Food is always great lunch specials during the week are fantastic. It is never very busy which is a Shame. They do not make the dishes very spicy, which I prefer, but if you like it hot you should ask. Their lemongrass soup is the best I have ever had. My daughter loves the glass noodle soup, which isn't always on the menu, but they have it
Hello everyone, this place hands down is awesome. The wings there are to die for!!! They make a special sauce for the wings and IT IS SO DELICIOUS!!! The owner there is very sweet and awesome. She took very good care of us, she was super friendly and attentive. Our main course was great, hot and tasteful. If you’re looking for a good Thai restaurant, friendly and prompt service then I can’t recommend this place enough!!! Trust me you won’t be disappointed. Thank you.
Have been going to la na since we moved to Media years ago. The Pad Thai is amazing, the best I’ve had. A great environment for dining in and takeout. I LOVED their glass noodle soup, unfortunately I don’t think it is on the menu anymore. Still a great place!

We ate here for the first time under new management yesterday and both the food and waitstaff were excellent. Everything tasted very fresh and the prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend!

The takeout was not good. I used to really like this place
Good tasting food at reasonable prices with friendly service. Good menu variety.
Food was horrible. Dry and bland !
Been going here for years, never left a review but why not. l think this is the best Thai in the area, its very good, quick. Portions are typically solid and price is worth it. Are you going to get better Thai in the city? Sure are, but for the burbs its dam good. My fav is the pad see ew with pork and I like the sticky rice and mango for dessert.
Good but skimped on the vegetables and there was hardly any chicken. I got the Massaman curry chicken and the chicken coconut soup. It was mostly sauce. For the price there are better options.
Please do not order the Pad Thai broccoli entree for lunch, I ordered it with shrimp. It’s 3 medium sized frozen shrimp boiled in water with miniature sized broccoli florets , no seasoning, side of bland white rice in a watered down brown sauce. Tried to explain to waitress my dissatisfaction in a calm polite way as I only ate 2 bites to try and maybe have this resolved. She said she would tell the chef, gave her my plate and she gave me a bill for full price. I paid in full, didn’t argue as a table of 4 was eating and didn’t want to disturb their lunch, but will never go back. They must need the money.
Best lunch deal in Media.

Great food, great service, great prices and a fun night out for our table of 6. Our server was attentive and funny. Put this BYOB on your list!
Tried their PAD Thai dish. The taste was alright. Probably because the food arrived a little late. I’ll try again next time.
Hands down—best and most authentic Pad Thai!
La Na is one of our favorite restaurants in the town of Media. Their Drunken Noodle dish is out of this world.
For our most recent visit, I had the Lemon Grass soup which was absolutely spectacular. I followed that up with the Thai Basil Fried Rice with Shrimp.
I would have preferred slightly more Shrimp with my main dish, however, considering the size of the Shrimp this really more of a personal preference.
Server was friendly, attentive and prompt with all requests. La Na is a must if dining in Media or if you've never been.
Great food great service and nice atmosphere!
We visit La Na frequently. When you are a regular, the owner notices which is nice. The food is delicious, servings size is just right. Everything is fresh and well prepared. BYOB is a bonus.
Food is delicious. I highly recommend the Thai dumplings and the coconut shrimp. The staff was very friendly and welcoming
Good food
Great owner
Wonderful atmosphere....great service....this was my first time eating thai food and everything was absolutely amazing!!!! Took my fiancee out for a random date and could not have asked for a more wonderful experience. Tulip dumplings are a must have!!!!

Very friendly, very safe, and delicious!
Only place I’ll get seafood pad Thai from. It is always delicious and on top of it we ordered from uber eats but no one would deliver so the owner waited outside for us to drive up to get our food!
Hands down the best Thai food around. The owner and employees are very pleasant and the food is spectacular. One of the best little places in Media!
Excellent food and great service
Had 2 unique dishes.
We had La Na cater a work event at my home for 40 people. They were so accommodating and easy to work with. The food was delicious and everyone loved it! The Thai Treasure mixed appetizers and Thai Basil Chicken were the best!
Great lunch special. Would go back again and again.
My wife got red curry, and I got the drunken noodles. We would gladly do both if these meals again. The waiter/host was as mindful and gracious as any we have had in a long time. Great value, and great food. We had the restaurant to ourselves on a Sunday night, so it was great for a date night.
the food was tasty but they skimped on the rice, giving just 3/4 of a small container leaving my massaman curry as mostly liquid at the end. last time i ordered i requested no tofu and received an order loaded with tofu.
Too much salt couldn’t eat it!
Love their Pad Thai! I've tried it at other restaurants but I love the Pad Thai here, best.
Nice menu, good service, at a fair price.

Really great Thai food!
great food !!!
Good food, friendly service and byob so you can get out cheaply if you want to. Interior is a bit bland and dated but the food overcomes aesthetics for me.
Extremely delicious. Friendly service. Definately wish I lived closer!
الاكل جيد. والخدمة كذلك
Very good food
I enjoyed my meal at this BYOB Thai restaurant in Media. The service was good. We were not rushed. The prices are reasonable.
Always a nice lunch.
Distinctive menu
Always excellent food, excellent service, fair prices. Cozy atmosphere, yet classy. Always greeted with prompt, courteous service. Have never been disappointed with what I have ordered, and have been here several times now. Would recommend as a spot to try if hitting the Media restaurant scene.
Evil Jungle Princess is my absolute favorite? They chicken and vegetables are so fresh! Wonderful service! A very laid back vibe for date nights. 💜
We love this place. The food is always delicious and the staff is always so friendly and kind, and funny! Eat in or take out, it's always been a great experience. Some of the best drunken noodle around, too!
Great food and the lunch special was a great price!
I went with a group of friends on a Saturday nite. When we arrived the restaurant was empty and only saw about 3 tables seated in the 3 hrs we were here. However, the service was at a snails pace and I honestly felt he was ignoring our table. My friend had to wait 1 hr for him to clear her dirty plate. We had to ask for dessert menus and had to ask for our check several times and finally received it about 30 minutes later. The food was below average, the portions very small but prices not so small.
Come for food quality. Fun to pair your BYOB wine with your dish. Unpretentious welcoming ambience. The staff are also excellent here. In addition to excellent timing of courses, my daughter left a stuffed animal there this time. They must have heard us discussing going for ice cream a few blocks down as we left. We had just sat down to enjoy our ice cream when in walks the guy from La Na with it, saving us from a class 5 meltdown when she would have realized it was missing.
Great meal amazing service. Love it here. Had the lamb it was so yummy.
It is the best Thai food in Media much better than the other place. We probably eat there twice a month and always enjoy it. Great dumplings and always like the panang curry.
I absolutely love this restaurant! We went last night for our anniversary! I ordered the red curry, simply fantastic! My husband had the beef pho, it is now his favorite dish there! Plus the staff is super friendly!!!
It seems like this is either a love it or hate it experience... Unfortunately, my experience was definitely the latter.
I honestly cannot comment on the food because my party left before being served due to the horrendous service.
We were seated at a broken table, moved to a proper table at our insistence, then moved from that table because we were a party of two moved to a party of four table. And no, they we're not "packed," in fact they were well below capacity.
A drink order wasn't taken for 10 minutes, and they extremely complicated order of water never came before we walked out after our server was MIA for an additional 15 minutes. Again, this being despite the relatively few customers at the restaurant.
So in the 30 minutes we spent there, we had three tables, no food, no water, no service.
So they may have great food, but I have no intention of subjecting myself to this place to find out. There are plenty of other, more deserving options.
Disclosure: This is not based on a visit in the past day, but in late summer. I merely forgot to upload it at the time.
A really great and affordable lunch spot in downtown media. Quality Thai food, and a chance to explore some options outside of pad thai!
Went for my birthday! Excellant food. Was a little long for food to come out, but that's because its made to order.
Delicious, authentic Thai food . Service is great and people who work there are very nice .Love the lunch specials.
Got the green curry and Thai tea today. So yummy.
The best duck chu chee I've ever had to this day.
Great, inexpensive Thai food. Soup, appetizer, entree lunch combo for $8.95 is great value. I love the corn cakes!
Lunch special during the week is amazing. Great price and great food. My favorite Thai place in Delaware county.
Yum.
Best Thai around. Try the weekday lunch special....coconut soup, chicken pad thai, and spring rolls or pork dumplings. Excellent food...best Thai! Get a Thai iced tea with it....
Great for quality and BYOB.
We had a great dinner here. All the options look delicious and we are very satisfied with what we ordered. The service was great and we weren't rushed in any way to finish our meal. It's quiet so you can have a great conversation without the usual din you find in many restaurants.
BEST Thai food in Media. I love it. Ed and Kathy Lichman.😎💕😃
Phenomenal BYOB that has a great atmosphere that is matched by the incredible dishes. The portions are decent as I almost always ask for a box to take home the leftovers and prices are very reasonable.
Excellent service and value at lunchtime. The massaman Curry and Pad See Eww were both delicious.
The Evil Jungle Princess is to die for!! Service is fantastic too. Only complaint is portions are not huge.
Great place for lunch! I've never had a bad meal (been there at least a dozen times) and the price is very reasonable.
Great lunch special! Great food!
The food and service has always been the best. I highly recommend you visit for lunch, brunch or dinner.
Good quality neighborhood Thai restaurant
Was hungry and run into this cozy restaurant and ordered the seafood combo wow , was very delicious even for this Chef .
Service was bad
Food was blah
The lunch specials are the way to go
I ordered for pick up and got the Pad Thai. Portion size was huge it could easily fed two people. It was absolutely delicious and I was pleasantly surprised because I wasn't expecting much. It was expensive but honestly I feel like it was worth it because the quality was very good and it tasted fresh.
Love the food
We go at least once a week. Food is wonderful, service is very good. Staff have a great rapport with their customers. I'm so impressed, that it has ignited a desire in me to go and visit Thailand. Just to clarify, the bathroom is not dirty it is just dated.
The food is so delicious! The volcano shrimp special is just the right amount of spicy and sweet. The service is great and the staff is friendly. My fiance and I are definitely coming back! Don't forget to BYOB!
Some of the best Thai food we've ever had! Service was personal and timely! Food was hit and very good! We will definitely be coming back again.
We went with a group of 7 and everyone was happy with their meal. The pad thai was excellent. Also very kind and prompt service.
Avoid avoid avoid if you are getting delivery. It was almost 30 minutes late, they brought the wrong order, and then argued with us about it.
This is an awesome find in Media. Small and quiet. It is a BYOB. We always have great food and good company.
This is high quality Thai food. I am a loyal customer
The worst Thai restaurant I have ever seen. For reference, I can remember eating at about two dozen Thai restaurants in PA, northern NJ, and NYC. The food was badly cooked and bland -- a complaint I have never had at any other Thai restaurant -- not to mention stupidly overpriced. I usually don't care much for service, since I go to restaurants to eat good food, not to be served like landed gentry. Suffice it to say it was laughable: the food took so long I would've believed them if they told me they had to harvest the rice and slaughter the chicken before cooking it.
Thai cuisine is one of the most flavorsome and satisfying in the world. If you are able, do yourself a favor and visit the Thai immigrant neighborhood in Jackson Heights and Elmhurst in Queens, NY. It will be a delight and half the price you pay at La Na.
First, I do not normally review restaurants. I understand that everyone has a bad day and I try to be positive whenever possible. After eating at LA Na it was impossible to find any positivity. The service was awful - we had to ask for water and for our order to be taken, then we waited an hour and a half for the food. No one checked on us or seemed concerned by the delay. In fact, we were only served after I told the hostess (very sweet) that we were leaving because of the wait. The subpar preformance didn't seem to phase the staff leading me to believe that this is par for the course at La Na. The food was medicore; I would compare it to the Chinese place that I order from while sitting on my couch ... but the Chinese place is faster and cheaper. Ultimately, I would not recommend La Na. You probably have something better to do with your time.
We went here for dinner, and had green curry, drunken noodles, a cabbage salad, and golden triangles. The curry was oddly thick, but okay flavor. The other dishes were pretty good, but the place could improve their aesthetics and cleanliness.
Sticky tablecloths. Decent food, but stay away if you have Celiac Disease or you are avoiding gluten. I found out after several trips that they thought soy sauce was "just fine" for people with Celiac Disease. I won't be returning.
Very good Thai food and a terrific 3 course meal lunch special.
Don't bother. The only good thing is that it's a BYOB. Food is nothing to rave about, I actually left still hungry and disappointed. And yes, your customers judge your one dirty bathroom.
I have never had a more disappointing meal in my life! The food was bland and tasteless as well as overpriced! The snow pea oriental salad was passable but everything thereafter was a culinary disaster. The Tulip dumplings were cold, tasteless and lumped together in a very unappetizing manner. The main dishes heavenly fish, flounder wrapped around some tasteless green mass, supposedly spinach was a disaster. My wife had the sesame tuna which was displayed well and said to be tasty, however the serving of white rice which accompanied the meal was a congealed sticky mass of tastelessness. The lemon grass soup as well as the appetizers and entrees were all served cold! On a scale of 1 to 5, I would rate the dining experience at LaNa a Zero!! Unfortunately, in order to record my review, I am forced to rate this experience as a 1
Bon Appetit but not at LaNa
YUM is all I can say !! Give it a try you will not be dissapointed
Food was delicious. Service was very warm. Portions were right sized.
The food was tasty but the wait was around 30 min on a saterday. The best dish is "drunken noodles"
