I recently visited ThaiPa while traveling in PA, and as a big fan of Thai cuisine, I couldn't resist trying this newly opened restaurant. The culinary skills here are truly legendary! The food was absolutely delicious, with flavors that were bold, spicy, and well-balanced.
I highly recommend the Kra Pow Crispy Pork Belly and the Kao Soi Kai – both dishes were outstanding! Honestly, everything I tried was fantastic. If you're reading this review, don't hesitate; you have to give ThaiPa a try!
This restaurant is a hidden gem, offering a cozy atmosphere and a clean environment. The food is delicious, and the service is top-notch. As appetizers, we ordered shrimp cake and calamari, which were cooked to a perfect crisp. Our main courses are Khao Soi Kai (a noodle dish with chicken and coconut curry), Thai PA clay pot with shrimp, and crab fried rice which we loved. The smell of wok cooking is smell so good and not greasy. We chatted with our waitress, she said the restaurant has been open for three weeks. We are already looking forward to our next visit and highly recommend. Giving this place a try!
This place was open on New Year’s Day, which I’m thankful for. They were very nice over the phone and were thorough when taking my order. The portions were generous, Pad Thai was 10/10 and Drunken Noodles were 9/10–could’ve used just a touch more sweetness to complement the perfect charred flavor (the sweetness from Pad Thai was terrific). I got food to-go and can only imagine how much more delicious would’ve been dining in. Will absolutely come back as this is a great option to have in the Lancaster area.
I had an amazing dining experience here.
The food was absolutely delicious as server recommended - Khao Soi Chicken was incredible, unlike anything I’ve ever had before, and Pad See Ew was perfectly seasoned and flavorful.
The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the service was outstanding.
Highly recommend this place for authentic Thai cuisine!
This evening, I had the pleasure of dining at Thai PA Kitchen for the first time, and I can see why it comes highly recommended.
The food was absolutely delicious! I was particularly excited to try the Khao Soi Chicken, a famous Chiang Mai dish consisting of thick egg noodles in a rich coconut curry, served with chicken, shallots, and pickled cabbage. It was incredible—unlike anything I’ve ever had before. We also enjoyed the Tom Kha, a coconut lemongrass soup with fresh lime juice, mushrooms, green onions, and shrimp.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was beautifully modern and inviting. However, what truly stood out was the service. The staff's warm and attentive approach made us feel like valued guests.
If you're a fan of authentic Thai cuisine, Thai PA Kitchen is a must-visit. I can't recommend this place enough!
I have been searching for good Thai food since moving to Pennsylvania and have always been left disappointed until tonight! The restaurant itself is cute, very clean, and had a relaxing atmosphere. I went in alone and didn’t feel awkward sitting at a table by myself. The staff were super friendly and the food was beyond my expectations. I order the pad see ew with beef and I literally almost teared up eating it because it was finally like the authentic family owned restaurant I went to in my home state. I also ordered the Crab Rangoon which came with a yummy sweet chili sauce and mango sticky rice which I’ll be trying at home but I’m sure will also be delicious! 10/10 I will definitely be returning!
Shrimp Fried Rice Review
The shrimp fried rice is delicious! The rice is flavorful, with fresh, juicy shrimp and perfectly balanced seasoning. The dish is simple yet satisfying.
The restaurant is very clean, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. A great place for a quick and tasty meal!
Wow, just WOW!
I had an appointment near this restaurant three weeks ago, and after the meeting I was hungry for lunch. I searched for restaurants near me and Thai Pa popped up.
I went there seeking a simple, delicious lunch with no expectations.
But I have now visited the place for lunch three weeks in a row and cannot say enough about how much I love this new restaurant!
On my first visit, I ordered Pad See Ew with beef, a lovely mix of perfectly seasoned and cooked beef, delicious broad rice noodles, Chinese broccoli, egg and Thai soy gravy. It was incredible, cooked perfectly in a glorious melding of flavors, textures, and visual delight.
Truly a delicious and filling dish that was a perfect first taste of this place.
On my second visit I ordered shrimp Pad Thai, which was also delicious. The shrimp were fresh and perfectly cooked, tying in well with the noodles, bean sprouts, sauce and other savory flavors in this classic dish.
But on my third visit, all expectations were knocked out of the park when I ordered Khao Soi Chicken. OMG!
Prin, the owner of the restaurant, suggested it to me when I asked him to show me his specialty dish on the menu.
So, what is it? Khao Soi Chicken is a blend of tender, delectable, and unbelievably flavorful chicken in an incredibly amazing "Chiang Mai" coconut curry "soup" that has some heat. I don't like spicy hot heat, but let me tell you, I LOVED THIS SPICY HOT HEAT. :) And ask for extra napkins, because you will need them. :)
Truly, a brilliant blend of flavors, textures, and spices that had me exclaiming to the server and to Prin, the chef -- who came out to ask what I thought about the dish -- that this was one of the most delicious dishes I have had in a Lancaster, PA restaurant in my 35 years of living in Lancaster County.
So, my review?
I highly recommend Thai Pa and its food, quality, and creativity.
This little place is buried in the back of a building off the road and in a mixed-use residential location. It is worth driving around inside the parking lot to find it!
And send your friends and family!
Believe me, once you eat here you will want this delicious new restaurant to grow and thrive so we can all keep eating there and enjoying their delectable Thai food wizardry!
And please tell Prin that Todd sent you. :)
(The first photo is of the Khoa Soi Chicken and the second photo is the Pad See Ew with beef. I forgot to take a picture of the Pad Thai with shrimp because I was so hungry that day. :)
Great food and service! Would recommend
Such an adorable spot! The food was delicious and the service was top notch. Highly recommend!!
I got takeout, ordered the spicy duck, by far the worst duck dish I’ve ever had in my life. Super thin slices of duck covered in a bunch of breading. Never would know it’s even duck. Just tasted like greasy breading. Nasty. Threw it all out.
My boyfriend and I ate here for our Valentine’s Day dinner and we loved it!! The staff are so nice and the food was even better. I came back the next night for take out. Felt very comfortable and relaxed eating here. Can’t wait to come back again!
Spent $24 on a pad Thai which only had 2-3 pieces of shrimps and 2 pieces scallops. It’s a ripoff for $24.
Thoroughly enjoyed my "lupper" (lunch/supper). String rolls, Pad See EW, and the most wonderful dessert of sweet sticky rice and mango.
Service was impeccable.
Check out this new place for Thai. Yum!
The Authentic Thai Experience Lancaster Desperately Needed!
When we moved to Lancaster over a year ago, one of our biggest disappointments was the serious lack of good Thai food. Having spent time in Thailand, we know what real Thai flavors taste like, and we had almost given up hope—until we found PA Thai. Even though we only ordered delivery, the food arrived fresh, fragrant, and absolutely phenomenal.
We went all in with our order: Green Curry, Red Curry, Pad Kra Pow Pork Belly, Papaya Salad, Pad Kra Pow Chicken, Pad Thai, and Pad See Ew—and every single dish was a home run.
The curries were rich, aromatic, and deeply flavorful, with just the right balance of spice and creaminess from the coconut milk. The Pad Kra Pow (holy basil stir-fry) was bold, garlicky, and packed with that signature Thai basil flavor.
And let’s talk about the spice level—when they say Thai spicy, they mean it. VERY HOT!
We’ll be ordering again and coming to visit soon!
Service was top notch, our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was hot and very flavorful with just the right amount of spice. Would highly recommend you break routine and pay a visit
Why isn't this place full of people?!?!
Friends in town from Canada & we needed a place to eat. Found this gem via Google and wow! What a find.
Appetizers for all were crab Rangoon, shrimp toast, spring rolls & chicken satay. Cream cheese in Rangoon was warm & had a little extra flavor. Peanut dipping sauce was thick and tasty.
All were satisfied with their entry. Drunken Noodles, spicy cashew chicken, hot wok broccoli & I had the house special dish of Khoa Soi Chicken. The curry soup was just spicy enough to perk up the taste buds. The chicke fell off the bone. The fat noodles mixed with the crispy noodles had a great mouth feel. All I wanted at the end was a stack of naan bread to soak up the sauce in the bottom of the bowl.
Service was top notch, very friendly, and very attentive.

Def recommend this place for Thai food.
Excellent food and service. Owners are very sweet and accomodating! The only restaurant in the area that offers curry puffs!! They are excellent...a must try!!
Delicious, Authentic Thai food. They even made an off-menu dish for my mother in law that she really likes.
Delicious authentic Thai food! Can’t wait to come back. Please support this local, small business!
I’ve had drunken noodles in many places in the United States and this is one of my top two favorites. The beef is cooked with a slight crispy and sticky texture which complimented the dish so well. Definitely try the Khao Soi Chicken. The chef is from the region it’s made and it’s excellent!
Very good and authentic Thai food. My new go to restaurant.
Delicious! The ingredients were fresh and the flavors perfectly balanced. And finally- a place that doesn’t overcook eggplant! Quick service and nice owners.
Had a wonderful time here! The food was delicious and authentic, we received great recommendations from the staff. I will certainly be back! The clay pot dish was fantastic!
Great menu, plenty of selection. Server was gracious and professional. Seafood pad Thai was excellent.

Out of every Thai restaurant in Lancaster County, Thai PA Kitchen is the most authentic Thai food. Every dish we’ve tried so far has been absolutely delicious. We are now life-long customers.
Delicious and authentic Thai food with exceptional and friendly service. 100% worth your time and attention, this place rocks!
Beautiful little restaurant with great staff and awesome food! I had the green curry and it was flavorful with the perfect amount of heat. The spring rolls were crisp and full of flavor with a great dipping sauce. I will be back again soon.

I accidentally pulled into their parking lot trying to get somewhere else and looked up the menu just because. I noticed they had khao soi and nowhere in this area has it.
It is the most authentic khao soi that I’ve ever had not in Thailand. My first bite took me back to Chiang Mai. This is the only place I’ve had REAL Thai tea too, not bitter like other places!
I will be coming back time and time again, I have zero complaints!!! Gotta love the Thai smile when you walk in too :)
GET THE KHAO SOI CHICKEN! Best food I've ever had, in my life. If you want real Thai food, go here. The chicken in my dish was fall of the bone juicy and the sauce was seasoned perfectly. The service was exceptional. The only gripe I have is that it can be expensive.
I am so impressed with Thai PA Kitchen! The food was sensational and the service was exceptional! I can’t recommend this beautiful spot enough. It’s a must for a great dining experience with authentic Thai cuisine!

I was born and raised in Thailand so I know good Thai food. The food here is excellent, authentic Thai and very fairly priced. Don’t miss this opportunity to taste real Thai cooking. I’ll be going back oftem

Excellent food and excellent service...very warm and inviting atmosphere for dining! BYOB
I stopped by here for dinner with my family and we were very impressed by the quality of the food and attention from the staff. We ordered Spicy Squid, an order of Pad Thai and Green Curry with chicken as entrees, along with spring rolls as appetizers. Each dish was flavorful and prepared with care. The atmosphere inside of the restaurant is warm, welcoming and kid friendly. I give Thai PA 5/5 stars. We will be back!
So I am comparing this to ploy that used to be in this space and maybe that's unfair. one big pro was that they delivered via food service app which never happened before.
However, food was not as good as ploy for a few reasons. Overall though it was respectable and I might order again. I am on the hunt again for the perfect drunken noodles dish that ploy one served.
Portions are a good size, protein is plentiful, and fried dish was appropriately crispy! My chicken and shrimp felt a bit overcooked though and I was disappointed i could not chose my spice level.
Shrimp Fried Rice Review
