The mature woman and man in his twenties, both thai, were absolutely fun to talk to. They made my girlfriend and I reminisce about our travels to Thailand. The food was amazing the zab chicken was better than what we had in thailand. We got a thai ice tea, cashew chicken thai spicy. Definitely will be back on our travels through here. We are traveling from vancouver Washington to arizona. Thanks for the great food and smiles.

I expected some fresh flavors with my meal like thai basil or lime, but none of that. I got the pad ke mow...no veggies. Just chicken and noodles. That plus a drink was 20 bucks. My 2 coworkers got similar dishes and said they felt the same way. Lesson learned on this one.

Delicious food! We had the basil stirred fried and the pad see ew. Food was ready in less than 15 minutes. The staff people were friendly! Will be stopping here from now on.

Absolutely fantastic veggie stir fry! Loved it They were very nice to explain butterfly tea to my friend who’s never had it.
The price is consistent and everything is nicely labeled. I’m definitely coming back. Thank you guys.

This is the best Thai food in town! They claimed that they use the recipes from my favorite Thai stop, Lampoei's, and tonight they proved it. So tasty!

Unreal. Boss is my favorite restaurant in The Dalles, OR. They're authentic tastes are to die for and I can be difficult to impress. As a chef myself, I find eating out in this 1 horse town to be a struggle. We have fast food and overpriced imitators, but this place gets it done. It's clean, quick, and beyond tasty. I recommend this cuisine to everyone!

The Tew tom yum is the best with basil. Also pad thai chicken is fantastic. The chicken that is in pad thai was tender with the pad thai sauce is delicious! Last time I had basil stired fried and I asked for separate for later and it was still amazing! The portion was great for this price.

I was optimistic when I heard a new place showed up in The Dalles. I wasn’t a huge fan of our other option. Unfortunately, despite the reputation of their relatives Thai Food Truck in Hood River I had an extremely disappointing experience. I ordered chicken Pad Thai and the chicken was off. Slightly rancid which was the case in all the chicken dishes I ordered. It is also not the darker colored Pad Thai like their relatives truck, which is my favorite type. I also had chicken basil fried rice, again with the off chicken and they oddly don’t fry the rice and they keep the main ingredients separate from steamed rice in a sort of sauce you put on the rice, I didn’t like it. Pad Kee Mao, again with the chicken, otherwise would have been ok. Tom Yum soup which was actually pretty good but had whole basil leaves in it, which I have never had in Tom Yum soup and didn’t like the texture of. I think after the rancid chicken, soggy, wrinkled basil just caused me worry. Also worth noting is that I actually would have ordered beef in at least one of the dishes but they don’t have beef and they have bbq pork but not standard pork, which is weird to me for Thai food. Last but not least, they are more expensive with smaller portions than the brick and mortar Thai restaurant in town and more expensive their relatives food truck in Hood River.

Their Pad Thai literally the same taste in Thailand. The taste of their Pad Thai the best. I would recommend my friends and people who looking for GOOD and BEST Thai food in the dalles will be BOSS THAI!

Pad Thai to go was a clump of very dry noodles and chicken with no flavor. Tried it at home and and it went straight to to garage. Very disappointed wasted money. 😞

First time trying Boos.

The pad thai was too sweet, and had very little chicken(less than 3 ounces). The pieces were overcooked and very dry and tough to chew.

The pad kee maow was good, but the chicken and pork were overcooked and very dry and only had 6 nickel size pieces of chicken and 6 nickel size pieces of pork.
The spice level was great.

The amount you get is not worth the price.

Expensive for 2 cups of noodles and less than 3 ounces of protein.

Will I stop here again? No!

The service was great and the order arrived quickly. The communal dinning room area was clean.

Excellent, authentic Thai food, prepared fresh for each order. I've been eating Thai food since I was first introduced to the cuisine in the mid 70's in LA. Now I live in NYC where we have some pretty good Thai restaurants. This food truck does it right at a fair price. The noodle dishes are especially good. .

I cannot recommend this truck restaurant enough!!! The food here is the best Thai I've ever had, and I'm so grateful they've set up shop in an area with such little diversity to begin with.

While the food is incredible, the mother/son duo who run the truck are the best part about visiting. They're ALWAYS so kind and have nothing but warm smiles and kind words to offer anyone who stops by. Their positivity is truly infectious and the love for what they do is obvious in the quality of their food.

My personal favorites are the Crab Rangoons to share, the Pad See Ew as an entree, and the Thai Tea to compliment it all 🤤

The place has the best Thai food AND drinks from The Dalles to Portland. I found this place looking for my regular restaurant. This place is our new regular spot. The great people who run this restaurant allowed us to try their secret family recipe pho. It was amazing and I highly recommend it. It's not on the menu but ask for the secret noodles. You will not be disappointed. They served us coconut water in a fresh young sweet coconut. It was delicious. Their butterfly flower tears fantastic. We had to go back for more drinks. This is the place for pad thai, pho, drinks and try what they recommend. Thank you Boss Authenic Thai Cuisine! Well done!!! I would drive 50 miles to pho van palace. This is better!!
