Spacious restaurant with plenty of seating dishes up familiar Thai eats such as noodles & curries.
My dining companion truly loves the chili chicken. The spice level can be adjusted per request. It is crispy, tasty and served with white rice. The portion size is generous and there is plenty for leftover meals.
I ordered the pad kee mao with beef and without tomatoes. I appreciate that the noodles have flavor but are not served in an oozing pile of sauce. Prepared very well.
The service is slow so don't expect a quick meal. The servers all have the understaffed and overwhelmed vibe.
Definitely order the Thai tea without ice and milk on the side. Very sweet but the sugar rush is worth it.
Ordered the pad Thai chicken medium spice to go. Wasn’t sure if it would be spicy enough so I got the Thai chilis to go with it- super glad I did. The spices were perfect, medium was a good spice level. The chili sauce was really tasty though and I couldn’t stop adding a little to each bite. Some of the better pad Thai chicken I’ve had in too long. Highly recommend
Overall great experience, 2 out of the 3 items were delicious. Service was prompt and friendly, good serving size. When we asked for the spicy sauce rack they came and gave us the hot sauces in tiny plastic containers for in-restaurant seating, so much plastic waste. Recommend to change to a reusable spice sauce rack.
Food was very tasty,…for most of us. Two of us got our meals in reasonable time (order the duck curry-it came out quickly). One meal came out about 15 minutes later. One never arrived after several updates that it was being prepared. We got the news eventually that they were still about to start, and told them to cancel it. They need to work on service and making all the meals correctly.
No make-goods or whatever. Like it was normal. Very not cool.
PRETTY TERRIFIC THAI- Inconsistent Portions
Dang’s is definitely the best Thai food in Lake Oswego, but is far from the best in the Portland area. They have issues with delivering a consistent product and portion size varies greatly visit to visit.
I would also appreciate some more heat in their dishes, but I’m guessing they’re catering to the average LO white person…
Ordered through Uber Eats. Didn't receive one item. Manager tried to blame the driver but finally admitted after much defensiveness that they just didn't send the item. Not impressed.
Best Thai food in the Portland metro area. I feel so blessed to have them in my neighborhood. They make the best Pad Thai.

Yummy food, lunch was dinner menu...waitress was perfect. Food tasty.
Great authentic Thai restaurant. It's very clean and the traditional Thai dishes are amazing. Pad kee mao was amazing. Try the red curry also. We asked for spicy 🔥 and they were tasty 😋
The woman who works at the front desk was really scared me. I saw her discriminating against two deliverymen. I will never come here again, I am afraid
Good food and service. Was there on a Saturday night and it wasn't crowded
I heard this place was great so I drove from tigard to L.O . I had To try it... I had green curry the flavor wasn't bad but it was verry thin sauce. I like thicker currie sauce. my friend had a noodle dish.. he said it was good but not any better than our local thai. I recommend you try it for yourself..it's worth a try. But I won't be back. For me, not worth the drive
SO BAD.
The food was burnt, bland, and tasted like old oil.
Also, incredibly overpriced.
$11 potstickers gets you 6 small pre-frozen potstickers.
The $17 Pad Kee Mao was a pile of burnt noodles with 5 (no joke) skinny slices of bell pepper. There wasn't any sauce, just old oil that I don't even want to know how many times they've used it.for cooking.
Look, I totally get that this was takeout. But it's beyond bad.
If I could give it 0 stars I would.
Everything you want it to be.
Good size portions, the spicy mango shrimp were huge. Even the lunch porti I ns required a to-go box. Very tasty!

Bland and uninteresting food. Seems to be very Americanized Thai food. Not worth the price. Go elsewhere for a good Thai meal!
I've been going there for some time and can't complain about food or service but the sticky disgusting table tops are why I'm not going back. as a professional painter I know what that is. it's a mixture of varnish and human filth. it happens when you stain and varnish over a dirty surface. the varnish will never set up. every time the table is used it gets more disgusting with more human filth. the menu, your phone, your silverware, your arms, any thing that touched the table is going to be unhealthy because you can't even clean the table. for your health don't go there. if they are blind this health concern, then the kitchen must not be up to standard either. as an expert in applying durable washable coatings I recommend closing your business until you address this blatant , obvious, health violation
Good service
I don’t know what happened to this place, but they have gone downhill. The food now has no flavor, and I killed 3 flies while I ate my food dining in.
The food is very fresh and tasty, 4.5 stars. The service is better than average and the atmosphere is just average. Also, this place is kept quite clean, which is a plus.
Ordered from Uber eats and had the spicy cashew stir fry (medium heat) with a side of fresh rolls. Spice level for my stir fry was perfect. Overall was not impressed with the stir fry or fresh rolls as far as flavor. Pretty average Thai food. I’m willing to try it again and try a different dish.

Not a huge fan right now they made my food wrong I took a few bites before I realized the dish was filled with egg and when I brought it to their attention and asked them to take it off the receipt they made me feel bad for having even tried it and told me I was lucky that they were going to take it off the checkI won't be going back
Best Dang 😉 Thai in Oregon, try it, you will come back over and over.
Panang Curry my favorite.
Tell them Kevin and Susan sent you. 🐉
Food was so yummy I didn’t even stop to take pictures like I normally do. They were pretty quick and are affordable. They sell Togo orders like crazy!! Obviously they’re doing things right. I’m not from town, but will definitely come back when I’m in the area.
Had the pumpkin beef massaman curry. The potatoes and pumpkin were under cooked.
The Tom Kha soup was extremely sour with no sweetness to it.
Food was just okay, would have liked some flavor. Pretty inexpensive but probably won’t be back.
They have a kitchen with so much detail to presentation. The food taists good too. Healthy Thai food is easy to find. The thing that sets Dangs apart is the use of sauce and the wonderful presentations. Brochlee set around the family style plate. Mine had other veggies piled in the center and a light peanut sauce on the meal. It was served with rice that was hot. This is some of the best Thai food I've had.

The food was amazing and the staff was polite
Last 2 times I have ordered food it has been horrible. Shrimp roll is 2 small bits of shrimp & mostly lettuce….not good
The chicken cashew stir fry was also not good!!! Just seems to be getting worse. Probably explains why no one is in there. It used to be busy but definitely not now!!
Not your typical Thai menu with some really different and interesting options. We got take out but the service was polite and quick, the food was delicious, and the portions were very large. I would recommend Dang's to anyone interested in Thai food.
Chinese sausage fried rice is amazing
love love love this food.
They treat delivery drivers with 0 respect
If you don't tip them on a Take Out order they wont even look at you. You can be polite and say thanks and they will just look away. More than one employee, same reaction.
Food is phenomenal! Every time I visit here from Florida, this is the first place on my list to eat. Food is flavorful, authentic and so delicious. I’ve gotten everything from their curry to pad thai and so far every dish is better than the next. Will always recommend! Wish I could take this restaurant home with me!
Too much sugar in dishes.
I know I’m “just a delivery driver”, but damn these people are rude!
Fast. I sat down at 5:15, was quickly served, and finished eating at 5:45pm. The place was busy but not crowded. Lots of to-go orders out the door. Family style share dishes. Large menu.
Very good Thai food. Portions were huge and very tasty. We will be back.
Simply love this restaurant.
I'd say Dang's is a cut above the majority of the Thai spots in the Portland area. Good size servings, great flavor, reasonably fast service for takeaway.
Always amazing Thai food - perhaps one of the very best in a city full of amazing Thai! You can't really go wrong with anything you order here and the menu is extensive.
Always give great portions and great food!
Our food and drinks were amazing! The wait staff was very helpful!
Love the Chili Chicken, Pai Thai , and Pat See Ew. Highly recommend.
Usually get take out. Excellent food
From the street it didn't look exciting. On recommendation of a friend, we tried it. Very high quality, flavorful food. Nice on the inside than the outside. Nice friendly service. Fine in our take out. Fast and fresh. Never disappointed.
Food is well-portioned to price (maybe even a bit much), great tasting. Good spice/heat levels. Casual or great business lunch place idea. Never been here before, but it wasn't disappointing in any area.
High quality Thai food
I was the regular customer there around 1998-2006. Food is great. Thai chili is super spicy. Fortune cookie after meal is fun to read. I remember the owner lady is very friendly to me and my girlfriend. Highly recommended!
Great food and good prices. Friendly staff is a bonus.
Randomly ate lunch here and had an amazing meal. Great menu and service. Everything was tasty.
Favorite Thai restaurant, everything is good here. Shrimps & mango is unique and delicious.
We were given a table that was sticky and there were flies hovering around us during the duration of our entire meal, dead flies on the window seal . The Tom yum soup tasted watered down. The chicken Pad Thai was too sweet. To top off the experience only one server was pleasant, the rest were not.
Delicious food. Friendly server. Nice clean restaurant.
Dang, that was good!... Sorry I had to 😆
Great place for holidays with family.
Dang's is absolutely delicious. We've tried a variety of dishes each time we've gone, and they're all amazing. Spice is on point. I recommend it to anyone in Lake Oswego who loves Thai food. Family style is the way to go if you can, so you can try a bunch of dishes!
Great menu choices and portion sizes are plentiful.
Quality of food is great and portions plentiful for what you pay. Fastest service of any restaurant I've been too.
Dang's still has the best khao soi around! I have only tried a few other items off their menu, because I am always so blown away by how delicious the khao soi is. Staff is always great, and they're handling to-go orders during the pandemic safely and efficiently.
Excellent lunch
Best Thai food in LO!
I hadn't been to this restaurant since before the pandemic. I was eagerly looking forward to lunch with my daughter there. Lunch cutoff time is 2:30 pm. We arrived at 2:00pm, and the hostess was reluctant to seat us. The 1st entree was delivered to our table at around 2:15, but it took around another 5 minute for the salmon with Panang sauce. I had asked for it mild, but it was extremely spicy.. too late for a do over. Less than 5 minutes later at around 2:23pm, a guy comes out with a box, telling us we can't continue eating our meal at the restaurant because of the 2:30pm lunch cutoff. One of our entrees came out late. Not our fault. We boxed the fóod not on our plate, but I ate what was on my plate despite staff protestations.
I doubt I will be back anytime soon. I left with indigeston, and I felt very disrespected.
If someone tells you they had the best Thai food and you ask where they are and they don't say Dang's Thai Kitchen, they are wrong.
The pad Thai is always delicious. And the chili chicken was phenomenal. Highly recommend!
Ordered Mango Prawns and Pad Thai chicken noodles medium spicy (on line take out), and it was simply fabulous!!! We have also has this as a “dine in” option as well. Very generous portions and favorable pricing. Solid choice for great quality Thai food, dine in or take out! Always pleased with the quality of food! 5 stars all the way.
Phenomenal pad Thai, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great. Would recommend to anyone visiting Portland or looking for tai food.
Always good, always delicious
Dang's is very reliable food. In the years it has occupied that corner I have visited dozens of times. The staff get the orders out quickly and no one hustles you even when people wait be the door on a Friday night.
Great restaurant in Lake Oswego!
What a GEM this place is!!! It is definitely one of the best Thai restaurant I've ever been to! Yellow curry was delicious! My wife got Lemon Chicken and she loved it! BTW, Feel Better Tea was a nice touch that chilly evening!
Portions are large but food was kinda meh. Better than White Orchid, though.
Ok Thai food. The portion has decreased and the quality as well. Still an ok place to go if you want to have some quick Thai food.
Worst thai food takeout I’ve had since moving to portland, plenty of better options. Chile chicken was bland and not good at all, garlic and pepper was ok but other places are better. Green curry was ok. The spring rolls, stuffed calamari and po pia sod were not good. The tuna salad my gf ordered was extremely ginger heavy and it looked like they used canned tuna. Maybe my first time ordering was a fluke but i was very unimpressed and wont be ordering again.
Dang’s is awesome. So fast, so delicious, and huge portion size. Each meal is big enough for two people and is reasonably priced. We got the Spring Rolls, Pad Thai, and Chili Chicken. First of all, it was way more food than we needed, but the food came fast and the service was great. Highly recommend for a casual dinner.
Real, good Thai fod
Absolutely delicious. I had the pad Thai, ordered it spicy, and was not disappointed. Had the perfect amount of kick. Service was also great. Super fast, super polite. Definitely worth stopping here.
Surprisingly good Thai! I had the khao soi, and the spice level was perfect, the portion was *huge*, and the service was quick and responsive. A 5 star Thai restaurant if ever there was one.
Super yummy food, huge portions, friendly staff!
Great food and service
Reasonable prices, generous portions, delicious food and excellent service. No complaints here.
Great food. However they said it be ready at 6:30. Wasn't ready until 7. Sounds similar to others. Be ready for a wsit
Incredible food, huge servings. This'll last me a few days!
Visiting Portland with a love of Thai food had us searching for a lunch place near lake oswego. We found a local restaurant with good reviews and decided to try it. My wife and I actually visited Thailand years ago and the Chang Mai (Northern Thailand city) cooking school and really enjoyed making and eating the food. We have gone to many Thai restaurants in the US, but Dang Thai had the most authentic, wonderfully tasting Thai we've had in the US. We visited for lunch to the tasteful room with good service and great value for your money. Ample portions of delicious food. We tried to get back there days later in our trip but it was south of town and we were heading to airport in northern Portland. Don't miss this gem with excellent food for a very good value.
Best Thai in Lake O! Super authentic and fresh ingredients.
Lovely price, Good looking yummy meals. and nice view.
Previous visits had no complaints. Positive staff and wait help. Dine In -dishes came out separately luke warm. Pad Kee Mao wide rice noodles stuck together and missing ingredients described in the menu. Yum Woon Sen - a glump of glass noodles flavored with fish sauce and lime juice also missing ingredients. Green Curry - just bad. Pad Thai was OK. Will not return - must of had new cooks or poor staffing on a Thursday night because they have done better. Updated: Returned several times and found restaurant back on track so upgraded to four stars. Food was spot on - line for take out food was gathering in dining area so staff needed better control to separate from dine in customers.
Really great Thai food. Usually pretty fast service, although they can get really busy some days.
Is all I can say is the curry is absolutely wonderful. Many many other choices but I'm so hooked on the curry I haven't tried their other selections YET.
I got Lemongrass chicken for takeout. received dry and cold chicken on coldish vegetables with a side of warm rice and peanut sauce to put over it? Not great.
Takeout was sub par but the wait was incredible. I wish we had a fast pass as they told us 25 minutes and it was exactly 58 minutes. They forgot the sauce on my meal too!! Literally just rice noodles and chicken.
Not sure what took so long. I think they had to catch and cook the chicken in my meal. Atmosphere inside seemed ok given we got to see 4 tables get food, eat and then leave. Won’t go back as it is also overpriced. I spend $80 for 4 people.
Just awesome Thai restaurant
Good food and nice servers!!!
And still IS!!!!
The fried rice is phenomenal! Definitely coming back for more at some point.
Have been going there 6 years. Never disappoints. Efficient service. Food is solid 4.5/5. Try the chicken w eggplant and red curry.
We recently moved to LO from the Coast and were so sad to leave our favorite Thai Restaurant behind. We found Dangs about 6 weeks ago and order from them almost weekly!
Our Favorite is their Pad Thai w/chicken. (Order a side of their peanut sauce and mix it in! Ridiculously delicious) Mango Sticky Rice is a MUST as well!
terrible service. waiting line too long and not enough employee to help with waiting customers
The BEST.
Great food!
Best Thai food I’ve ever had. Amazing customer service. Very attentive. 10/10 would recommend
The place has a nice menu with a lot of meat options. We're vegetarians so that limited our options. got spicy basil fried rice and sweet and sour. Bith items were really nice. Service was friendly and the food came in very quickly! Will choose to dine here again ..
We were on the road and hankering for a tasty meal with vegetables, so yes, we were in a weakened state. But Dang’s really came through for us. Fresh vegetables - check. Good flavours - check. Generous portions (squid, tofu, chicken) - check. If we lived here we could be regulars. As it is, we might plan future trips with a stopover so we can have a Thai feast!
Wife and I eat here weekly. Always very satisfied. Fried ice cream is sooooo good!!!
They have great food
This place is delicious! The calamari is THE BEST. And HUGE.
Fresh Thai food.
Fresh food, generous portions. Tom Kha soup was great.
The noodles were well cooked, flavors balanced I recommend you always try one option from their specials menu. Today I had a chicken wing dish that was simultaneous crispy and tender.
One of my all time favorite restaurants and definitely my favorite Thai restaurant. Insanely good and always consistent.
Food and service were both very good
This is not Thai food. It’s watered down, Americanized noodles with sauce. We ordered yellow curry, drunken noodle and rad nah—none of which was edible.
The curry has no flavor, I can make better curry at home using Mae ploy curry paste.
The drunken noodle also lacks flavor and did not scratch that pad kee mao itch.
The rad nah was the worst of all. The “gravy” was the consistency of soup with no semblance of oyster sauce even though the description claims it’s an oyster sauce gravy.
I don’t think I’ve ever been this disappointed with Thai food. I wish I could get a refund.
Unfortunatly, the food was too "Americanized" for my taste.
Excellent food!!
This place prepares food as slowly as my grandma drives her old Cadillac around the church parking lot.
I'm new to the area and was told I absolutely had to try out the Thai food scene, and I was not disappointed! You guys, the Curry Puffs will change your life. I randomly crave them ALL the time. To top it off, all of the employees are so kind and patient. I've done dine in, take out and delivery and all have been very smooth experiences.
Glad to have this one close to home. Solid Thai.
The best Thai food untill we find one better.
Always a good experience. I've had the Pad Se Ew probably 10 times.
I'm guessing this place changed owners as it was my favorite Thai place. We ordered crab fried rice, kow soi, and pod thai - the fried rice had tiny bits of broken shell in every single bite and some weird veg like canned green beans. the pod thai had ZERO flavor - I don't mean just not spicy - I mean just boiled noodles, had to add vindaloo sauce from my pantry just to give it any flavor at all. the kow soi was good, but everything else was garbage and the two woman working there were both really angry, so I'm done with this place forever.
Very delicious! Super place!
The staff here is very friendly. My water glass was filled more times than I can remember. Their khao soi is amazing. I will go back just for that dish even though Dang's is a bit out of the way for me.
Great food
Delicious, well priced, large portions, but service usually missing points. Personally I don't want to have to ASK for soy sauce or utensils, etc. Also I expect a follow up check on how things are after food is served.
That's me
My girlfriend and I went here for dinner once, we both ordered chicken Pad Thai. The pad thai was amazing and had a lot of flavor, the portion is also massive!
