My favorites are the Spring Rolls, Fresh Rolls, Calamari, and most of all, the Tropical Fried Rice . It's the one dish I crave daily 😋 Thank you for bringing so much goodness to our small town Michael and family!

The service was fast and great. The only thing I might criticize is that there wasn't much meat and it was all hiding under the noodles. I got pork pad thai. He brought watermelon slices with the check.

In town visiting family and was craving Thai so got takeout to bring to hotel and was pleasantly surprised, drunken noodles and pot stickers were excellent! The portion of noodles was huge! The only thing they didn’t give me was a fork or chopsticks so remember to ask for that if you need one. I ordered a 2 out of 4 on the spicy scale and it was just the right amount of heat.

Loved the food. It appeared as if more attention was placed on my meal than the interior of the building (as it should be in a restaurant). Friendly and attentive service. Not bad prices.

The food at or from Chalerm is terrific. The basil fried rice and fried calamari are superb, and in general the food here is possibly the second best at any Thai restaurant I've ever been to, and that's saying quite a bit. Five out of the six or so Thai restaurants I've been to are all outstanding, and the only one of them that was clearly better than Chalerm was a particularly good one in Boston, Massachusetts. I feel that Chalerm is at least tied with Jack Sprat's and Stacy's for/as being the best three restaurants in Cottage Grove, Oregon.

Good food, served temperature hot. I don't like spicy hot, so I ordered mild. Lots of options on their menu.

Green curry, yellow curry, crab puffs, and pad see ew woo sen. Literally the best Thai food we’ve ever had. The hours are hard to follow but once you catch them open, you will not regret it!

02/17/24 hidden gem - tiny restaurant but great service and yummy food. So excited to eat that i forgot to take pix. Looking forward to trying other dishes.

We stopped in on a very long road trip from LA to Seattle. The unassuming restaurant was friendly and delicious. It really checked all the boxes.

Excellent but spicy as hell. Medium is spicy here and spicy means something you haven’t every tried.

I asked for hot and got no heat and very basic flavor not like it used to be. They don't seem to get it, also the last time i showed up hungry during their normal hours they were closed.

It was a bit pricey, and the food was ok. The cannabis store next door was a lot nicer. LOL

Fun find in Cottage Grove. All the food is made to order and is quite tasty. The food selections ranged from traditional Thai food to Indian to American. They even found some fresh mango to serve with sticky rice. Yum!

I finally went to dinner at Chalerm Thai here in Cottage Grove. Mom and I were the only people seated inside this small quaint restaurant between 5-6pm on a Wednesday night, what I saw was a constant stream of people picking up their orders, I believe ‘door dash’ will deliver, and I know why. We ordered the Tom Kai soup, delicious, the Green Curry and The Garden Delight with chicken, everything was so fresh and excellent flavor, as the outside temperatures drop I’ll be ordering pick up or delivery!! I’ll definitely be back !

Ordered basil fried rice with vegetables. Lots of veggies, tofu and the right amount of spice. It was excellent.

Quite expensive and got the pineapple fried rice with chicken and the chicken was raw would expect to be better considering they have very little business.

This place is a hidden gem of Cottage Grove. My family loves the Panang Curry and Pork Fried Rice. Take out is always quick and efficient. Fine in is splendid. I’d put this restaurant up there with any big city Thai Restaurant!

Very good Pad Thai and stir fried veggies in Peanut Sauce. Cramped space was a bit difficult to negotiate with a scooter.

Food was excellent. Service was excellent. There were 10 of us and it's a small place so that slowd them down a bit, but the food still came pretty quickly even with a steady stream of takeout orders that coincided with our visit.

This place was open during a snowstorm and gave us a free hot tea to keep us warm, which was above and beyond. Huge portions and great taste. Plus, they are owned by the sweetest couple. Definitely recommend

Perfect curry (yellow curry) outstanding pai thai! Great portion size and amazing customer service, the woman at the front was so nice and I was blown away with the food first time there definitely not the last!

The food is good but their hours are not consistent. They randomly decided to close on a Thursday and just said that they put it on their Facebook an hour ago. Not everyone uses Facebook and if you want to run a successful restaurant you should keep consistent hours.

Every few weeks I can't stop myself from getting the "old time noodles" with beef and medium spicy... those noodles haunt my dreams they're so amazing. They have other great options that I've heard from other people... but I can't resist the noodles.

This is my place to go when I need my kind of comfort food. I try at least one new thing every time we go or order out and most have been great. My go to and absolute favorites are the Massaman Curry and the Potstickers and we order those every time and are not disappointed. The service is friendly as well. One of the two best places to grab a bite to eat in Cottage Grove for sure!

This was in Cottage Grove. I live in Springfield and have eaten at many Thai Restaurants in surrounding areas. This was by far worth the drive. Food was excellent for both me and my guest. Service was met with a smile and each walk in guest received some delish drink..strawberry and blueberries in a soda whipped with ice cream or something...I could only drink a bit of it due to my heart set on the food and she made these as a apology for waitting 35 minutes for my order. Simply nice people and will defiantly return.

I love this restaurant! My favorite in the area. Not your usual oriental pile of mushy veggies and gummy meat. Dishes are well-presented and service is so prompt and friendly. My favorite dish: Garden Delight with chicken. They can spice to your taste mild to weapons-grade!

Some of the dishes egg noodles and drunken noodles are a little too salty but lacking other flavors. Just salty.

They were a "No Show"! We skipped the food in Eugene to eat local on the way home, and found out they weren't even open despite their posted hours saying they should have been. A check with the Subway employees next door indicated this is common - so have a plan B. I'll try 'em again - in five years.

Excellent Thai food! They serve a broad menu with fresh ingredients. The friendly owner serves up hot tea immediately. I had the green curry with chicken and medium spice. The spice was just right and the meat generous. Portions are large enough to split (no charge). We like to split the entree and start with an order of fresh rolls ( salad ingredients wrapped in rice paper you dip in peanut sauce). Service was quick my order came in 10 min..My bill was $13.95 Turn east from I-5 about 1/4 mile watch for the Subway sign, they share the same building. Closed from 3 to 4 and after 8.

Best red curry in Lane County. Way better than the over rated places in Eugene. Delicious food everytime, they're the only ones that make it spicy enough to be called "extra hot". Crab rangoon and salad rolls are my favorite appetizers. Support a small family business 👍.

The pad thai is very good. The portion was a very good size for the price. The generous use of tamarind makes it very refreshing. A little extra egg on the pad thai would be nice, but other than that it was great! Time between order and take out pick up was only 10 minutes.

Surprised by how good the food is at Chalerm. They share a front door with subway sandwiches, which is odd, but the freshness and quality of the food here is amazing! I highly recommend eating here!
They also have great vegetarian and vegan choices!

Very cozy, laid back, made to order food. Very flavorful and well portioned (as in not huge nor too small, just right). Only booths, it's a little tight spaced, smaller scale restaurant. Service is not the fastest, so don't be in a rush. Our server, a gentleman, was very quiet but polite. You feel rather cozy, kinda like at home here. Nice place for a quiet lunch, it seems (don't know if it's always like this).

In my younger years I actually dated a girl from Thailand, and not since the first time her grandmother made food for me have I had such traditional Thai food. The service is great, very comfortable atmosphere and a great selection of classic Thai treats. Especially their curry I would give this ten out of five stars if I could. If you're on the fence about it just give them a try. You won't regret it.

Very small and very old ... Booths are green vinyl with lots of tape trying to hold the vinyl together but it didn't appear dirty ... Just old. It shares a building with Subway. Small portions with no description of what exactly is in each dish. When served we found it very bland. Price wasn't bad ... Maybe that's why portions were small. Won't go back.

Nice lady running the place, but slow service because she was the only one bussing tables and it looked a bit run-down (it shared an entrance and dirty bathroom with a Subway chain store.

The food is amazingly delicious! We had Fresh Rolls with Peanut Sauce for an appetizer. The Peanut Sauce was the best we've had. We had Mango Curry, Avocado Curry and Pad Thai, all with chicken, for entrees. I wasn't a mango fan, but I am now; perfect combination of flavors. The Thai Iced Tea was just right, not too sweet. And, the people are super friendly! We will definitely be back!

Spent a month.and a half in Thailand eating the most delicious food I've ever had. And while nothing can compare to food prepared in its country of origin, this comes as close to the real thing as any I've eaten. So lucky for me I live in Cottage Grove.
