Have picked up from here many times and had been wanting to try it out. Finally got the opportunity and was not disappointed. Got the Pad Thai with Chicken and a Thai Iced Tea. Both were absolutely delicious! Lots of flavor and the tea was just right 👌.

Thai Garden has absolutely delicious food. I am not certain how long this place has been around, but I have lived in this area all my life and I am pretty upset with myself for not eating there sooner.

Plus the man working the front was kind to my rambunctious 5 year old, which meant a lot to me since 5 year olds can be annoying.

So if you are thinking about eating at Thai Garden, do it immediately. You won’t regret it.

Highly recommend this place!! I have a gluten allergy, and they were able to make my fried rice gluten free, and it was delicious!! We got our food with-in 10 minutes of ordering it and it was hot! Very great service! Overall amazing experience! Thank you, we will be back!!! :-)

Was in town for a business meeting and looked for a small family owned place to get authentic Thai food. This place was the perfect find. A husband and wife run the business and the food was delicious. My compliments to the cook. They were very friendly and the food was prepared quickly. I had the Spicy Basil with medium spice level and it was perfect. I will definitely go there again next time I am in town.

UPDATED REVIEW- I have had them mix up my order with someone else twice- and I had grace for that.
Because this had happened 2/8 times I had ordered, I calmly called and let them know that I think they mixed up my order with someone else’s.
The man there treated me like I was lying and had attitude with me. I remained calm. Then the cook tells me I can bring my meal back to them and she would fix it. Great, I drive down the road instead of eating dinner. I get there and have to awkwardly watch the man tell me that I was wrong and then tell me that people are in front of me so go wait.
As I waited, the man came out into the waiting area where the menu hangs, and he literally pointed to the meal and named off every ingredient and then laughs and says “see, this is how we make it honey, ok?”

After being completely belittled, I looked at him and asked him if he was ok.

He said “ya!” And then went back to the cook and said loudly “the girl says she comes here often. I’ve never seen her!”

I’m sitting there awkward thinking, “
wow I’m being talked about like I’m not here and not a paying customer that holds any value.”

The way I was treated was bad customer service and frankly, not worth the food.

Just had honestly the most terrible customer service experience. The gentleman at the front counters demeanor was absolutely insane. They made me the wrong dish, i brought It up to him and instantly tried to argue saying that’s not what i asked for. I told Him to run his cameras back then to see what I said. I did Not ask for it to be free i paid For my meal, i did Not ask or try to keep the food they messed up. I’ll i asked for was for the food i paid And ordered for. And i was Instantly disrespected, called a liar told that’s not what i saud. Then he has the nerve to tell me he pulled the footage and then showed me a video of some one else ordering food trying to say that’s my order. And would not show me the actual clip of me ordering my food. He was so angry that he was shaking, all be cause he didn’t want to admit to a simple mistake. I will Never go here again and will be filing a complaint with the health department amongst a complaint with the bbb. This guy should not be in business period.

Great tasting Thai food! Loved the curry and salad roles. Absolutely economical prices, amazing taste, and genuine service.

Our neighborhood Thai spot, it has the beat curry in town. We really enjoy the red curry noodles, the green curry, and the pad thai. Friendly owners.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the Clackamas/HV area, as in I took a week and all I did was try the same dishes from the top 3 Thai restaurants in the area and did a taste test. I have only tried the tofu, but I love how it's cooked here, the dish flavors are a little lighter than my favorite restaurants in Portland but it's good. Heads up, spice level is definitely on the low side, each restaurant is different. If I don't want to drive far for my Thai craving, this is now my go to place. My 2 favorite dishes so far are the Pad Thai and the Cashew Nut. I'm sure I'll be exploring more of their menu soon

Thai Garden To Go, Delicious Affordable and pleasant conversation. As you can easily figure out, the tasty Thai food served here is to go only. If you need a place to sit they do have it. Though I dont expect much else with the great prices here, except of course a nice conversation waiting for you food. If social interaction isn't your thing, I've seen phone orders in and out while chatting with the nice gentleman at the front. This is my go- to lunch in Clackamas.

This place is great! Food was delicious and service was cozy like talking to an old friend. I read a review recently that spoke about a guy asking for extra containers, these containers probably cost $1 a pop. For a mom and pop spot to give away $1 containers would be extremely cutting this businesses revenue. They have great quality containers travel the best and I never worry of spillage. This is strictly to go and does not serve for dine in purposes, picnic table is great for the summer, but I don't plan to "dine" in the rain the rest of the year

Definitely to go only, don't let the picture of the brightly colored picnic tables fool you. Now don't get me wrong, it's good curry for an okay price, but don't go expecting good customer service or anything other than food in a bag, that you'll need to take somewhere else to eat, because evidently they specifically don't sell or give out extra sub .10 cent to go container so you can mix your noodles and curry sauce on their picnic tables out front. Did I mention how colorful they were? Really guys? Come on. An extra cup...
If you're wanting a lunch spot, pass on this and do yourself a solid and go down the street to Casa Del Sol. They give out both good service, a place to eat, and free to go containers.

Pretty mediocre. Tried the basil fried rice with beef. Some bits were browned, some soggy. Taste was okay. Portion not mixed well, and had some clumps of white rice in it that were not seasoned. Not the worst I've ever had, but I dont think I'd come back.

Highly recommended. I always ask for the pad see ew, and I’ll tell you guys, it tasted like glory. They do really know how to cook. It’s the best Thai in the city. This place was recommended by a good friend, however the guy at the window was rude. He made a comment but was not loud enough, since a major road is right outside the door.I asked him to repeat what he said. We did this for a few things.
Then he didn't give me a number, so when he called one, i figured i would check. He was mad that i had gone back to top the window.
Definitely not coming back again and will not recommend to anyone.
The Food was ok.

This is literally my favorite Thai place in town! Even when I get it delivered the food is always amazing! No spilled items everything comes hot and tastes great! I would leave 6 stars if I could.

I love the pad Thai with tofu, spicy. It’s my go to but when I want to switch it up, the drunken noodle or any curry dish is fantastic! Good chef, friendly staff. They make sure to get the order right, and make an effort to make you feel welcomed.

Everything here is AWESOME. The spring rolls are super fat, and you get peanut sauce plus a Nuoc Cham type sweet chili sauce. My favorites are the basil fried rice and the green curry. Dan working the register is good people. Be careful on the spiciness level, its no joke. "Hot" is REALLY hot, and "Thai hot" is nuclear.

Service was good, but the food was not. The chicken was so dry in my pad thai and the sprouts didn't look much better. The food wasn't bad... but not good either. I will try somewhere else in the area next time.

Not for me. I ordered pad Thai with vegetables and it came only with dry noodles in a dense clump and was not up to par. It is inedible to my tastes. I called to ask what they could do and they said that they’d make me a new one and they literally expected me to drive back 20 minutes (one way) to pick up a new one. Or they said I could come back another day. Unfortunately I don’t go to restaurants and trust ‘replacement’ food after the person was rude on the phone so I’m out $10. I gave them one star because the salad rolls were great. The 5 shrimp that came in the IMO too sweet soup weren’t cleaned properly. Hopefully just an off day as I saw this place had good reviews and that’s why I tried it so just wanted to add my two cents because there’s no reason really to go here and I regret it, but obviously some people hate vegetables so they’d probably like it here very much bc they were quite sparse compared to places I usually go. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I’m very disappointed!

I come here pretty often and this time the man messed up my order and when I called to let them know they said they would make me a new one but I had to pay for a new one. I will not be coming back because this is very poor customer service. It's sad that they lost a whole office who frequents this business during lunch hours. I gave plenty of opportunity to correct the mistake and even offered to pay for the additional vegetable he said he would have charged for had he understood my order correctly. Very disappointed

Lacking in what would be a common thia flavors. Ate here twice brought a freind new to thia food he like the large noodles in his dishes. But the pan thia and cashew nut are missing thia flavors. Cashew nut is more like chicken noddle with rice. Also missing that the salad rolles only come in as tofu. Sorry but very disappointe flavors.

This is a twice a month stop for us as we work nearby. Call your order in ahead and they'll crank it out in minutes, very reasonably priced and decent Thai food, what more could you ask for.

Only had the pad thai from here. They are super quick and reasonably priced. One star deducted for greasiness and charging for "extra" veggies of which there were very few.

Flavorful Thai food served quick. The spice level was great. Only downside was ordering on the phone, the background noise was so loud I could hardly hear the guy taking my order. But overall a great experience. They even have a couple tables outside for eating on.

Kind of disappointed. Noodles were over cooked and burnt. The meat was dry. The sauce and vegetables were on point. May give them another try, may not.

Went there for lunch tonight. Really enjoyed the food. Had Pad Thai with pork, extra meat, extra sprouts. Sauce or seasoning used was good. Will be coming back for lunch again soon. Only complaint/thing I would change is to be open until 8pm. My lunch is at 730pm, so I have to sneak out a little early to get it.

These are the sweetest people!! They basically helped raise my boys on their amazing and REAL Thai food when they were over on 122nd near Stark. Simply amazing and no other will suffice for me after eating here...they set my standard. At amazing. 😉😉 and fyi...they would never let their food go out with ants or any other contaminant...these are authentic people with authentic recipies. Nothing but love for them.

I have gone into this location twice, both times were terribly disappointing. The food is mediocre but the service is horrible. I asked if substituting shrimp for tofu for the salad rolls was an option. I was told No, and was essentially told if I was intelligent enough to read the menu I would have know that.

The food is great but the service can improve. Placed a large order over the phone, confirming numerous times of each order also ordered an hour in advance, allowing time to complete our orders. As we arrived to pick up our food the guy who took our order would not own up to making a mistake on our orders. Instead of making an easy fix to the matter he continued to dispute the order. In the end, we had to wait another 15 minutes to get our correct order. Brought the food back to the office and find out that most of our orders were incorrect and missing items. I would not return due to the front counter service. I speak and understand Thai and I would not hire someone like that to ruin my business.

I will never go here again. The dude (can't even say gentleman) that works the front counter is NOT nice. Their food is mediocre. I can and will, go up the street for better service, and better quality the only thing this place has is convenience. He refuses to make items on the menu of which has happened on more than one occasion. I work down the street, and many of my co-workers will not be returning either. I can't imagine they are up to code with health inspector either its pretty gross in there.

Best Thai food in the area for sure! Prices are super affordable, everything I have gotten of the menu is very fresh and delicious. I usually have a problem with restaurants trying to americanize food by making it bland and this place does NOT do that! They're only open Monday through Friday because this is a lunch place, but their portions are not reflective of this at all which I love. Get this for lunch and save some for later or get it for dinner before they close at 7, you won't be disappointed. I always get their egg rolls which are more like spring rolls, and now I can't imagine an egg roll any other way. Their pad Thai is always delicious and has just the right amount of toppings, and their masaman curry is nothing short of heavenly. Eat here! Or don't, either way I'm a customer for life.

I come in and order Salad rolls with shrimp. The rude guy behind the counter says "we are too busy for that, you can have tofu". Really? It comes with the tofu. I am willing to pay a dollar extra. Don't offer it on the menu if you're too busy. Then the guy in front of me tells me that they messed up his order twice and he is waiting for the correct order. I finally get my order and it was wrong. A friend recommended this place. I won't be back.

Don't get me wrong, the food is incredible. I love the woman who owns the place and her daughter who helps out now and then. But the man they have hired to run the front full time is a disgusting rude ass human being and they have lost my business because of it. I truly hope they fire him and then I'm sure their usual clientele will return. I know a lot of people who used to eat here but do not anymore because of him.
Here's what happened to me recently if you don't believe me:
I walk in and order my usual Panang Curry (yum!!!) with brown rice.
I get it and walk back to work, then notice they have given me white rice instead. No big deal buried like getting what I ordered. It's close enough that I decided to walk back and ask for the brown rice.
I get in there and nicely say 'hi, it seems like I got white rice instead of the brown rice I ordered. Would you be able to switch it for me please?'
His response is (and I wish I was making this up...): 'well why don't you want the white rice? It's pretty much exactly the same as brown. I think she just mixes it all anyways.'
'No thanks, I would really like the brown rice I ordered.'
'Ok fine.' He walks in back and mind you it's a whole two feet away from the front. In a super high pitched whiney voice he says 'wahhhh I want some brown rice cause I'm a snob and don't want white!!!' He then walks back, hands me my rice without any remorse of what he just did like everything was normal. I was so shocked by this that I just took my rice and left.
I came back the next day after the shock wore off in hopes to talk to the manager about what he had done but without luck cause he was there. So I thought I'd be the bigger person and tell him what he did was inappropriate and hopefully get an apology so we can both move on from it.
After I say 'so I came in yesterday and I was very offended by what you said after I asked for brown rice.'
'Oh really? Huh, well what did I say?'
I embarrassingly repeated his words and how he said it.
He then says 'oh ok. Well I guess I'm sorry but you know, that happens everywhere so it's no big deal.' It's just part of customer service.'
I respond with 'no it doesn't and you really shouldn't talk to or about customers like that.'
'No it actually does happen everywhere but you know I guess I'm sorry. I'll think about changing how I talk even though it happens all the time and it probably won't change. It's really no big deal.'
My mouth dropped after this statement and I just walked out since clearly there was no talking sense into him. I've tried going back a few times after to talk to the manager in hopes that I wouldn't have to write this review but no luck. I'm done eating there till they fire him for being so horribly disrespectful to customers. Such a shame for such a great place. Hopefully they will see this and do something about it.
