I got the chicken pad thai, my boyfriend got chicken fried rice. the fried rice was good but the chicken pad thai was not very good. i work in a thai restaurant and it didn’t even taste like pad thai at jinda. an hour or so later me and my bf got really upset stomachs . think the meat was bad .

Diner Review №2

Update - I ordered the stir fried pepper steak. It was great. But we did go on Valentine's day for dinner and they were slammed. They had non-stop door dash orders which really slowed down their dine in service. It took over an hour to get our food after we ordered. And they ran out of Jasmine rice so we had to have brown rice which they told us as they brought out the rice. But really it was our fault. There is a reason I haven't gone out to dinner on Valentine's Day for years. Just a reminder to never eat out on Valentine's.

I ordered the crispy mango chicken. It wasn't my favorite. It was pretty salty and not very sweet and not much tang and the chicken was mostly bread. My daughter got the massaman curry. That was much better. And my wife got the drunken noodle which was also good. But I need to go back because there were so many things in the menu that I want to try.

We ordered from the lunch menu. Yummy food, decent price!

Diner Review №7

Such a wonderful restaurant and the service and food were fantastic! We will be back!!!!

Diner Review №8

This place puts comfort into comfort food. The food is always amazing and warms you up. It’s a little speedy but worth it. The staff is always friendly and they have amazing music. Will always recommend the curry but the other dishes are top notch as well.

Diner Review №9

Great food and fantastic service. The owner is very welcoming. They put a lot of food on the plate, so you should have leftovers.

Diner Review №10

Diner Review №11

The food is always flavorful, fresh, beautifully plated and the staff is warm and welcoming. I appreciate at a party of one they don’t ostracize you at all bar stool like so many restaurants in Albany do. The current management is doing an amazing job, thank you!

Diner Review №12

This is my favorite thai place, and one of the best places in Albany. It's very authentic and family owned, the servers are so kind and genuine. If you don't know what to order ask them! Everything is cooked perfectly. The best thing I've had was the crying tiger steak. It legitimately might have been the best steak I've ever had. Another family favorite is the spicy basil thai and the volcano chicken. Super solid food from a great place!

Diner Review №13

Diner Review №14

Pad Thai was loaded with veggies and ordered. I asked for medium spicy. It was super mild. I added dried chilies to spice it up. Overall, the noodles and veggies were cooked perfectly, but the base flavor was a bit too oily. I would come back again and possibly try the curry dishes. Upside, the serving size was enough to feed two people.

Mike was serving, bussing and taking orders.

Diner Review №15

Diner Review №16

Worth the stop in here, food is fresh, hot, and delicious!!!

Diner Review №17

Diner Review №18

We ordered take out and it was steaming hot when I got it home. The ingredients were all fresh, the flavors were delicious - all in all, excellent Thai food! The food was ready very quickly and the staff member that I spoke to was friendly, even though I could tell it had been a busy night.

Diner Review №19

We love Jinda! The food is absolutely delicious and the service first rate.

Diner Review №20

I can't stop eating their yellow curry! Amazing:) Very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Diner Review №21

The service was fast and friendly. Nice little place. The food was amazing.

Diner Review №22

This is absolutely the best Thai food within miles of Albany, authentic, fresh, delicious, generous portions, and lots of options for everyone's palate. The veggies in my drunken noodles were perfectly cooked and super fresh even out of season. Can't wait to go back and try 5 more things on the menu that caught my eye. Beer was a little pricey per bottle

Diner Review №23

Very nice little restaurant, Fantastic Drunken Noodles, great service.. 😋

Diner Review №24

Diner Review №25

Curry was tasty!

Diner Review №26

We’ve had their Pad See Eww and the Tom Kah. Top notch food and excellent service as well!

Diner Review №27

We just love this restaurant and the young man who takes our order. The food is wonderful and the service is wonderful!

Diner Review №28

we had the most amazing and delicious lunch today ….. food was excellent / service was prompt / everything was great

Diner Review №29

Just picked up Red Curry w/Chicken and Mando Delight, both 5*hot. It really hit the spot. Fresh ingredients, fabulous flavor, and the Thai spice we were craving. Highly recommend

Diner Review №30

I love a mild curry, best I've found in a long time. Others loved the teriyaki and the drunken noodles. Great value for the lunch menu.

Diner Review №31

Good food and friendly service. The Panang Curry was flavorful, and the sever was pleasant despite me having a little trouble hearing her over the large group at another table. As others have said seating is a bit limited, but they were able to squeeze in during the peak lunch hour.

Diner Review №32

Food was okay. As others put, there was a lack of ingredients past the spicy. Maybe it was my choice of food, but I am not stuck to dealing with a very sick stomach after ordering the drunken noodles.

Diner Review №33

Ordered the pad thai and asked for spicy. Waited 45 minutes for the food and ended up asking for the food to go. The pad thai was not spicy at all, the flavor was ho hum, the beef was chewy and not great.

Diner Review №34

Diner Review №35

The culinary experience was exceptional, particularly the stir-fried noodles, which I highly recommend.

Diner Review №36

I’ve eaten there and I like the food a lot. Their pad Thai is my favorite in town and their orange chicken was pretty good. But when the orange chicken was takeout, they put it on top of the steamed veggies with it, and they got a little soggy in vegetable water which was unfortunate. The wait in there is always pretty long, and I heard that their entire kitchen crew was replaced recently so I think the wait will be longer and the food may not be as good for a while.

Diner Review №37

SO GOOD! and SO NICE!

Diner Review №38

I don't know anything about their food. The only reason I marked at three stars is because it's frustrating that only Thai restaurants will be closed midday at what I would think would be a prime time to be open. But they're always closed like from 2:00 to 4:00 or even 2:00 to 5:00. This is what I'm always in town for my work. And Thai restaurants lose a lot of business this way. I wish they would change that. Maybe it's a cultural thing I don't know.

Diner Review №39

Best ever! Not oily pad tai like all the other tai restaurants. Actually flavorful. Very impressed!

Diner Review №40

The BEST Thai food I have ever had! It was absolutely delicious!!!!

Diner Review №41

Excellent food.

Diner Review №42

Good value, recommended, have a look on plates we got (4 persons)

Diner Review №43

Great food. The curry is delicious and we always get the salad wraps

Diner Review №44

Diner Review №45

Such good food! Skip the food trucks and go here instead, you won't be disappointed. The mango sticky rice is amazing and I love the peanut sauce with noodles!

Diner Review №46

Diner Review №47

My favorite place for Thai food in Albany.😋😄

Diner Review №48

We ordered food from Jinda Thai for my husband’s birthday and enjoyed it! Everything seemed very fresh and it was all yummy.

We got the fresh rolls (super fresh, crisp veggies), chicken satay, chili basil chicken, and yellow curry. My husband loved his meat, and I loved my veggies. I wish the veggies for the yellow curry were cut a bit smaller, as they were huge chunks of potatoes and carrots. Still so good. I look forward to trying some more food from here in the future.

Diner Review №49

This is a tiny, unpretentious place. Nobody dresses up. The dining area is narrow and sparsely furnished but still comfortable. The food is great, and there isn’t a TV screen cluttering up the ambience.

Diner Review №50

We had the green curry and tofu pad thai. Green curry is kinda spicy and I love it.

Diner Review №51

This is such a nice restaurant in the downtown Albany area. Many food choices makes it appealing to a variety of palates.
The servers/owners are very polite and friendly making the dining experience wonderful.

Diner Review №52

Very good food

Diner Review №53

Okay coming from back east we have been hunting for great Thai food and Jinda fits that bill!!! Great food ..tiny restaurant with lunch counter atmosphere but who really cares when food is this good!! Service was great and attentive. This will be our go to for now on ...we live in Corvallis but the quick trip is well worth it

Diner Review №54

Diner Review №55

Always kind, and the food is always fire.
Bella usually takes our take out order and is an absolute shinning star.

Make sure to ask for their chili crisp oil, it’s better than anything in a jar.

Their chicken larb is on point and I cannot recommend it enough.

Thank you so much!

Diner Review №56

A must for Thai lovers in Albany. Every plate I've ordered has been a winner. Great taste, great portions. I appreciate that there are a variety of options for groups with different tastes. This has become a favorite for my wife and I, for both dine-in and take-out.

Diner Review №57

This is the best Thai food in Albany. The restaurant can get a bit busy at peak times. I recommend the triple delight dish which has pork, beef, and chicken.

Diner Review №58

I love their chicken pad Thai! Pretty much the only thing I get and never disappointed and HUGE portions I ALWAYS leave with leftovers. And their Thai Iced tea is tasty too

Diner Review №59

Best Thai food in town! Perfect for vegetarians too. Even during their lunch menu hours, they'll swap out the meat potstickers for veggie dumplings. Each time we come here the quality of food is amazing. Highly recommend!

Diner Review №60

Most authentic recipes I've had with Thai food. I will definitely eat here again when in Albany.

Diner Review №61

We dined at this restaurant based on prior reviews. It did not disappoint. The service was friendly and the food was fresh and delicious. We ordered pad see ewe and crispy mango chicken. Both were excellent. There was an extensive menu and many dishes I would like to try upon a return visit.

Diner Review №62

This is seriously the best Thai food I have ever had, and I have been to dozens of Thai restaurants across the country.

Diner Review №63

Diner Review №64

Noodle soups are very nice, curry and pad thais are decent. Large menu, clean with decent service.

Diner Review №65

We actually went downtown with lunch plans at a different restaurant, but they were closed. So we went down the street and spotted this place that wasn't busy. We found out later they weren't busy because they had just opened, they got busy very soon after. The service was excellent in spite of the number of customers. The menu is huge with lots of choices. Both our meals were very tasty and the portions were huge. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. We will definitely be back!

Diner Review №66

Great menu options and amazing flavors! Wait staff had a sense of humor and was very kind. Atmosphere was lovely.

Diner Review №67

Love the food here. It's always so fresh.

Diner Review №68

Delicious fresh dishes and a wonderful vibe. They're a little short staffed, but still very kind. Be prepared to relax and take your time, it's worth the wait!

Diner Review №69

Top notch Thai, a bit of a surprise in such a small town!

Diner Review №70

The highlight of our experience was the super friendly, sweet middle aged waitress in the big Ducks jersey. She was so funny and entertaining, it made me want to take the drive from Albany from Salem just for meals.

The menu: expansive and creative. All your classics plus some reimagined. The food: flavorful, and big portions. The salmon in my curry was dry. The chicken satay sauce was super thick! The spice levels are higher than average so be careful!

Diner Review №71

This was my first time having Thai food. It was delicious! The server was very attentive, and the prices were good.
Added perk, they boxed up my leftovers for me. 10/10

Diner Review №72

Super fast service, fresh ingredients, polite staff

Diner Review №73

Diner Review №74

Best Thai food in the Mid-Willamette Valley.

Diner Review №75

Diner Review №76

Excellent flavors, can't wait to go back!

Diner Review №77

Diner Review №78

I really like the drunken noodles. The service was good and fast.

Diner Review №79

Not only is the food wonderful, but the staff are so kinda and friendly. Plus best Thai tea I've ever had, a really special place worth checking out

Diner Review №80

Delicious food! Be conservative with the heat when ordering... not unreasonable and I usually like spicy but I was glad I went with mild!

Diner Review №81

We had such a great experience at your restaurant, that we must give our highest compliments to the chef and your establishment . We hope to become regulars when we do the drive between the Bay area and the Puget sound :)
Best regards. C. Newman Dong

Diner Review №82

Our experience at this small local Thai restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary. From the inviting ambiance to the authentic culinary delights, every aspect of our visit surpassed our expectations. The passion and dedication of the staff in delivering an exceptional dining experience were evident in every dish we savored. But it was the Thai iced coffee that truly stole the show, leaving an unforgettable impression that will keep us coming back for more. If you're searching for a place to immerse yourself in the flavors of Thailand while enjoying a cozy atmosphere, this hidden gem is an absolute must-visit.

Diner Review №83

Favorite place for takeout!

Diner Review №84

Diner Review №85

The waitstaff was polite and attentive. The duck was really good! The lettuce wrap appetizer is huge, and has tons of flavor! (There is lots of ginger and purple onion, so watch out for your little ones) I got the chow mein, wasn’t anything great, but that’s on me for sticking to the more basic entree. I’d definitely come back here. It’s also very affordable.

Diner Review №86

Food wasn't as fresh and spiced as expected but was ok

Diner Review №87

The wife and I recently went vegetarian. This small family restaurant has an amazing menu with many great options. We have spent the last month trying to find somewhere that we felt like could cater to a limited diet. If we walked out today with full bellies and a smile. And the tab was relatively reasonable. Five star restaurant. We will absolutely be back. If you don't give it a try that's your fault. by the way the pineapple curry is amazing.

Diner Review №88

Do yourself a favor and order the curry puffs. They’re a labor of love and perfectly executed

Diner Review №89

Wonderful food and atmosphere! The staff are nice and helpful. Will be recommending to friends and family.

Diner Review №97

Best Thai food in Benton County.

Diner Review №98

I am so glad we decided to try Jinda Thai for dinner today! My husband is an AMAZING cook, so we are often disappointed when going out. Not in this case! We had the Salad Roll w/Shrimp & Crispy Calamari appetizers, which were both good size portions & so delicious! Hubby had Massaman Curry & I had Peanut Sauce Avocado Prawns. Needless to say we could only eat half, but they were both amazing. The servers were prompt & polite & we can't wait to go back & bring some friends along this time.

Diner Review №99

Nice little place. Not much seating on the inside. The have to-go & take-out orders on a table with your name on them. Very simple. Have to say everything was good except for the sticky rice, the noodles & the calamari. The boxes they pack them into make them more than a pain to try and eat without reheating them in a bowl. The noodles were gooey, stuck together and not hot. The sticky rice was beyond sticky. The volcano chicken was a bit old and tough. The vegetables could be chopped a bit smaller. The cashew chicken was really good and much fresher. First time trying the tempura avocado and it is okay, we were not fans of the fried version.

Diner Review №100

Small place, with small tables, so if you are going with a group bear that in mind.
wife was worried the food would be spicy, but it wasn't, though table condiments can add that if desired.
Had crab wontons appetizer. These are not the kind you might be used to where it is mostly wrapper and a bit of filling. These things were stuffed completely full.
Main course was the Thai Orange Chicken. It was crispy, served with a 5 star restaurant presentation regarding plating. One of the few places you'll find your actual plate looks like it could be used for a menu photo of the dish.
Best of all was the orange sauce. It tastes of oranges, unlike the thick, over sweetened, sauce most places have.
They are definitely a 5 star restaurant that just happens to be operating within the limits of a 3 star space.

Diner Review №101

I’ve worked at Thai restaurants for years. Every time I ever ordered from here there’s always more than one thing wrong

Diner Review №102

Best Thai food in Albany. The venue is small but the service is impeccable. The curries are all to die for, the sauces are amazing, and the soups are incredible. The Thai iced tea is a true treat, as well!

Diner Review №103

My family has always enjoyed the fresh meals we’ve had from Jinda Thai.

Diner Review №104

My wife and I may as well have lit $50 on fire.

The Tom Kha soup was the best thing we had, and it was just broth with coconut milk, onions, mushrooms, and shrimp. The shrimp tasted off (read old) and there was no evidence of any aromatics like cilantro or lime juice.

The Pineapple curry was lacking any sort of flavor (besides spicy), and I am pretty positive that the pineapple was canned. It's just strange to me to have something be the star of the dish, and have it come out of a can. The meat we had was tough, dry, and chewy.

The spring roles once again lacked any sort of fresh aromatics and flavor. It was literally just tofu and bagged spring salad mix. The peanut sauce was just peanut butter melted with sugar. No depth of flavor, just sweet.

Our drunken noodles once again lacked any sort of freshness to balance out the spice, and as a result the spice took over the noodles. I think there may have been one or two leaves of basil in this one. and the protein was also overdone.

We had heard so many good things about this restaurant, and were kind of excited to try it, but we're sorely let down. Everything that Thai food is known for (big flavors with things like lemongrass, cilantro, basil, lime juice that balance out the spice of the food) just wasn't there. We ended up throwing the food away and having cereal.

Diner Review №105

After reading such great reviews I was sorely disappointed. Thai food is one of my favorite cuisines, and I was fortunate enough to grow up in a city where various styles of wonderful Asian cuisine were readily available on every street corner.

Maybe all of these good reviews point to the fact that Albany simply doesn't have anything better as a point of reference.

One of the hallmarks of Thai cuisine is the aromatic fresh herbs and balance of flavors. Neither of these traits existed in any of the items we ordered. The salad rolls had zero flavor, the "Thai peanut sauce" that accompanied them tasted like peanut butter with added sugar. The pineapple curry and drunken noodles had spice, but literally nothing else to balance it. Where is the fresh basil? Cilantro? Lemongrass? Lime? Anything fresh? At all? I strongly suspect that the pineapple was from a can, the vegetables were overcooked and soggy, the meat was overcooked and dry...

We threw our entire $50 order away and ended up eating cereal for dinner.

Diner Review №106

Great little gem in downtown Albany. Food was very very tasty and the staff were great. Exceeded our expectations big time. Would return in a heartbeat

Diner Review №107

It was ok, but definitely not worth the price.

Diner Review №108

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area by far! They are so generous and give large meal portions with a lot of meat on each dish. Most places give you a lot of the vegetables and very little meat, but they don’t hold back. They add so much meat in each dish, it’s amazing. Each dish I get I’m surprised by how flavorful it is. Amazing food for an amazing price for the portion you get. Very friendly staff as well. Overall every time has been a super great experience and I find myself going back all the time and loving it even more! I’m not a person to ever write reviews, but I had to with this restaurant!

Diner Review №109

One of the best Thia restaurants we have eaten in. Great selection of dishes at a good price. A better value than some of the other local offerings. The "mango paradise" was well prepared and very flavorful. We will be back

Diner Review №110

In the food desert known as Albany, Oregon, this place really stood out to me! I got the Thai basil and it was delicious. Lunch specials for 1125, friendly people, nice little downtown vibe.

Diner Review №111

Diner Review №112

First time here and I highly recommend this awesome Thai restaurant. The food was hot and delicious, We got the Yellow Curry which had just enough spice that was pleasantly tasty and the Pad See Yew was out of this world. Our sweet server Isabella was very attentive and helpful during our time there. Definitely going back again

Diner Review №113

Good food! Fairly reasonable. Nice service.

Diner Review №114

Diner Review №115

Diner Review №116

I actually got Jinda delivered from DoorDash and I am so happy that I did! The food was great! We ordered the basil fried rice which was light and non- greasy with nice basil flavor but the most amazing part was that the chicken wasn't dry, rubbery or overcooked. It was tender! The green papaya salad was very enjoyable as everything was still crisp and yet had really good flavor. We also got the larb salad with beef. I personally would have preferred a bit more tang from the lime and more flavor from the rice powder but nonetheless it was really good. The curry puffs appetizer was an extra last minute addition on our part just because it sounded good to our hungry bellies and I'm glad we did. The pastry wasn't greasy at all and they were actually nice and light and tasty. I look forward to ordering from them again and trying even more things.

Diner Review №120

Super friendly waitstaff, really delicious food, lots of options, high quality, clean atmosphere, close to shops and park and movie theater, really fast delivery when you order on doordash. Amazingly big delicious salads. Love it here.

Diner Review №121

Diner Review №122

Great salad rolls and a wide selection! The pad Thai is to die for, and well portioned. The wide rice noodles are a bit over boiled for my taste, but still quite enjoyable!

Diner Review №123

Amazing food and great service!
I will be back❤️

Diner Review №124

I ordered the shrimp pad Thai and the shrimp stunk, not fresh at all. I took them off my plate and ate some of the noodles and the flavor was blah. My friend said his krab wontons were cold in the middle. The servers were shy teenagers who didn’t ask how the food was or notice I barely touched mine. We won’t be back.

Diner Review №125

Very pleasant atmosphere. Wonderful Server.

Diner Review №128

Great Thai Dinner. 🙂 Had Herb tea ,I was impressed with the smooth flavor. Coconut shrimp excellent crisp with delicious dipping sauce. Drunken noodles served just as I requested.(mild) Tasty. The salad rolls were fresh. Atmosphere relaxing, peaceful. Service friendly, Definitely will be returning. Highly recommend.

Diner Review №129

We tried this restaurant for the first time last night and were 100% impressed with the quality and flavors of all 3 dishes we ordered. We are spoiled by so many good choices for Thai food in Eugene, but the food here was so good we know we’ll make the drive and eat here again and again. Spicy cashew stir fry was the absolute best and better here than any place we’ve ever been. Wonderful food and well deserving of 5 stars! Thank you!!!♥️

Diner Review №130

We have had lunch here twice now and they are really great. The staff is friendly and fast. The food is really delish and good sized portions. Cute Kirk's spot downtown.

Diner Review №131

I love this place. I have been there several times not and not once has been disappointed. (Well, once because the sold out of the stickey Mango rice -yummy).

Diner Review №132

The best. Great price. Definitely worthwhile.

Diner Review №133

Diner Review №134

Oh my that was so scrumptious!!! I had the Evil Jungle Noodles with chicken and I am hooked!!! Red curry and so tasty!!! Service is a ...creative but that's from being understaffed. Our server did AMAZING with the full dinning room and maintained a beautiful composer.

I've visited Thailand 3 times. Never had food like that stateside until I came here. Told them that myself before I left.

Diner Review №149

Diner Review №150

Great food, best I've had in a long time!

Diner Review №151

So so so good! Stopped in for lunch today and was shocked how good the food was, I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken at a level 2 spice and it was DELICIOUS and also tried the chicken wontons and they were so good too. My husband was relatively shocked that his pad Thai lunch special with upgraded shrimp provided as many shrimp as it did (they were large shrimp and probably about 8 of them) The portions at lunch time were very generous for the price, (10.25) plus, came with pot stickers on the side..service was quick and friendly, and a nice atmosphere to dine in at. I would highly recommend giving them a try and bring in the friendly support to one of our Albany downtown store fronts!

Diner Review №152

I've eaten at almost all the restaurants in Albany. This place is definitely in the top 2! Food with fresh ingredients, friendly & timely staff, and a large variety menu!! If they had cocktails, it would officially be my #1 restaurant in town

Diner Review №153

So good and tasty 😋

Diner Review №154

Four of us had four different entrees and all were excellent.

Diner Review №155

Best Thai food in Albany!

Diner Review №156

I absolutely love this place. The green curry is out of this world gorgeous. Jinda Thai is by far my favorite thai restaurant I've ever been to.

Diner Review №157

Diner Review №158

Good service, good food. Nice spot in downtown Albany. Very generous amount of shrimp in dish. Place was busy on Friday night. Mild was spicy and spicy was mild, maybe they got that mixed up but still delicious.

Diner Review №159

Excellent staff and dishes. Fast friendly and legit. Always a go-to.

Diner Review №160

Fantastically tasty, with many vegetarian and vegan and gluten free options!

Diner Review №161

Great food and service, thank you 🤩

Diner Review №162

Diner Review №163

Wonderful food, great service.

Diner Review №164

The food here was soooo good. I got one of the curry noodle soups. My father got a curry that was also delicious. They have a sizeable menu that is well organized and easy to understand. Staff is great and food came out very quickly after we ordered.

The restaurant also is tastefully decorated, the white, blue, and walnut color scheme is very soothing. Price is also very reasonable!

Diner Review №165

make sure you get the lettuce wraps for your appetizer - they are SUPER good.

Basil fried rice and cashew chicken in chili sauce with chicken satay. All are spot on! We'll be back.

Diner Review №173

Diner Review №174

Excellent downtown restaurant. Nice tall ceilings and modern furnishings. Waitress was perky and accommodating. Had the house fries rice and crispy spring rolls and was happily stuffed after. I got medium spice and it was hot 🔥 the waitress said the newest batch of chilis was hotter than usual. Next time I'll order mild haha. Overall a good experience and would eat here again.

Diner Review №175

I was very happy that the owners of the original Thai restaurant in this location were back after it had changed hands. The food was delicious and reasonably priced with large portions. The salad was Huge and the dressing was amazing! I love that the selection of greens was varied and not just iceberg or Romaine. My mom had the Masaman Curry and I had Panang Curry. Both were very good and large. Somehow I managed to eat it all and some of my mom's also. The salad was big enough to share and we did. The staff were very friendly and attentive and made sure that we were enjoying our meal. Thank you, Jinda Thai! We'll be back to enjoy more of your wonderful food!

Diner Review №176

Diner Review №177

The wonton soup is stellar and the panang curry is simply delicious. Polite service. Definitely returning with the family for dine in.

Diner Review №178

The Satay Chicken was sooooo good! But the yellow curry was too watery and very spicy for a 1* spice request.
Overall would order again, just wouldn't get the curry personally.

Diner Review №179

Great food authentic Thai. My girlfriend is Thai and loves this place. Love the spice…and the best Som Tum around. You won’t be disappointed, and huge portions. Enjoy!!!

Food was very good and tasty we enjoyed it. But I would recommend an additional server as the young woman working was a bit overwhelmed acting as hostess, cashier (with your system down) and waiting tables and juggling take out orders

I just tried Jinda Thai Restaurant yesterday with a friend…IT WAS AMAZING. The service was EXCELLENT, the food and drinks were AMAZING, and the environment is so NICE. 110% recommend, wish I could give more than 5 stars. I can’t wait to take others to try and to go back.

If I could give this 10 stars I would. Loved everything about this, great service, fabulous food and stunning presentation! Felt like I was in a restaurant in Seattle. This is a gem and whenever I'm in town, we are going here!!

Diner Review №190

I think this is easily the best Thai restaurant in Albany.

Really American style, totally didn’t expect that.

Beside that, you can tell the way they process food are not good too, cuz the chicken wing is way too hard.

I have to wait for my food about an hour and get disappointed. They keep marking door-dash order really quick but just not for people stay in restaurants.

I can tell the employees are nice that they try to take care of us but you don’t really want to wait an hour long, right? I

Diner Review №192

Someone needs to learn how to run a business. When we arrived, we were seated immediately. However, we waited over an hour for our food and when it finally arrived (after they reconfirmed what we wanted) it was still wrong. The table next to us ordered before we did but we were served first. The staff continued to take at least 8-10 takeout orders while we waited. They were incredibly backed up, no one seemed to know what was going on. In addition to taking orders to go, they had reservations for an 8 top and a 6 top, yet continued to tell patrons it was only 45 min to pickup their orders. Decent food, terrible service.

Best pad Thai I have ever had! Very quick too

Diner Review №194

I was very happy with my first visit to Jinda. I got the Panang Curry Chicken, and it was delicious! I was impressed with the generous portion size, while also being reasonably priced. I got the spice level at 2 which was the perfect amount of spiciness for me. The staff were very friendly as well. I'll certainly choose Jinda over the overpriced "House of Noodle" for here on out!

Diner Review №195

Variety of entrees, vegetarian selections, no heat to major heat. Great tapas too. Exceptional customer service!

Diner Review №196

First time eating there and it was delicious! I will definitely be going back again!

Diner Review №197

I wish I could give more than 5 stars, but alas 5 is all I’m allowed. The staff was friendly and attentive to keeping our water glasses full and helped us choose a delicious appetizer. The crispy duck curry was the perfect balance of spicy and sweet, and the duck was perfectly tender. They have a fantastic Pad Thai as well! Definitely check these guys out!

Diner Review №198

We ordered a variety of take out from Jinda and we were very satisfied. The portions were large for their price and the food was delicious. Best pot stickers in town, crab rangoons are ginormous, and all of the sauces for dipping and in our dishes were packed with mouthwatering flavors. We will be back!

I work downtown and get takeout from here quite often the food is delicious and the portions are huge. I can usually get two days lunches from one order. Love it!
