Authentic Thai Restaurant
Good - ****
The ambience is really good. I ordered their yellow curry which comes with the soup of the day and jasmine rice. I wanted the spice level as hot. Good quantity and the flavor was good. I still feel Lanna Thai and Tropical might be better in terms of taste but for the price, this was good. There was lot of chicken. Potato could have been boiled little bit more but overall I liked the experience. Maybe need to try red and green curries and pad thai next time.
Visited around 230 on a Saturday afternoon and was immediately seated. Service was very prompt and kind. Was able to order quickly and received within minutes. Food was hot, tasted good and was offered more rice for the curry dish. The hubs and I got Combo Pad Thai and our son got Panang Curry. Definitely will try it again.
Great Thai spot and will definitely be back! Amazing hospitality… was greeted with a complimentary cup of soup.
The appetizer sampler was delicious and also a great value. I loved the green curry. The Thai eggplant was delicious in it. I ordered it hot, but not Thai hot. I found it to be very tolerable and next time I will order it Thai spicy because I’m a lush for spice.
I don’t recall which dish my friend ordered, but the thinly sliced chicken was a tad dry and the sauce was definitely on the sweeter side. The flavors were still good.
That said, will definitely return to sample more dishes!
Loved it! Very clean, nice atmosphere, extremely pleasant servers, food was delicious. I got the turmeric chicken fried rice and my wife got the pad Thai. We also got the 'golden bags' appetizer - they were marvelous, cooked to perfection. For dessert we got sticky rice and strawberry ice cream. Both were excellent. Highly recommend!
A fantastic spot for a casual date night! My wife and I love Thai food. Take it from us, this spot is delicious, convenient and cost effective. I have an abnormal love of spicy food, and Family Thai delivered. The Thai hot rating is indeed hot, but I needed more. The extra condiments, particularly the crushed Thai chili and the fresh chile with fish sauce put my curry over the top excellent for me!
Please consider Family Thai for your next date night. Delicious food and spicy seasoning make for a memorable conversation between you and your loved one :).
Family Thai is a true gem in Tulsa!! Everything I've ever ordered is spot-on.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is always fantastic. Whether you're a Thai food enthusiast or new to the cuisine, this place will exceed your expectations. Don’t miss it!
We love this place! We eat here a lot. Great service. Very fast. Really nice people. Wonderful food. Our favorites are the drunken noodles, yellow curry, golden bags, coconut fries chicken skewers, chili noodle. Highly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere inside is very quiet and relaxing as well.
Everything about this place makes you feel like they deserve your business. Food is always fresh, hot, tasty, comes out quickly. The presentation of the food is excellent and makes you want to try different dishes each time. Besides all this, the best part is the service. They truly live up to the name of the restaurant. Feels like a family based atmosphere that cares about personalized customer experience every step of the way. Go out there and support your local business that does it right.

Phenomenal Thai food at a reasonable price with excellent service. 10/10 would recommend

Best Thai curry in Tulsa. Literally all their curries are sooooo good. My go to Thai place. Great apps as well
The best Pad Thai in Tulsa..I have not tried anything else because I love the Pad Thai so much..Everything looks wonderful.. The very best service, top notch...

One of the best Thai restaurants in Tulsa!

Good food. When it comes to Thia, my wife is the expert. And this is her favorite place to send me for food. It is delicious.
Huge menu, read through it as there is such an array of flavors available.
The chicken lettuce wraps blew my mind. The chicken filling was so savory and delectable it was hard not to just eat all the filling with a shovel.
Chicken pad Thai is excellent. Comes out hot and fresh. Very clean.
I've visited 3 times now. Service is great, fast, and very friendly.
I will recommend Tom yum soup which is really flavorful. Other fried rice is average
Really great customer service. They corrected a mistake immediately for me.
Fantastic taste, and the staff is super nice, try out their turmeric fried rice it was so good!!
I love this place. Food is great, they always give me more than i can finish and i can eat a LOT… and they are open on xmas which i appreciate!!
Got the yellow curry through door dash & it was wonderful! Such good flavors that only got better the next day. Very large portion-big enough for 2 days of meals. The sticky rice was cooked perfectly. This IMO is the best Thai resturant in town!!!
I could eat here every day!!! Each plate has its own distinct flavor and it never disappoints. On the CK teary it just blows you away every time! My go to are the papaya salad, lemon grass beef laarb, the mango sticky rice and the Thai coffee. They are all so amazing! Don't forget the Tom Kha and Tom Yum soup.
Great food near the University of Tulsa. Authentic Thai cuisine with good levels of spiciness well described.
The service was a 10/10
But the food that I got had way too much oil and tomatoes on a combination fried rice never seen that before
The price for what I got not happy.
I like their foods as an asian
We ate here on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
I love this place. The green curry with eggplant is super tasty. The Crunchy shrimp is so good.
We revisited and it was just as good as the first time! The pad Thai is amazing, best I’ve had!
My favorite restaurant in Tulsa. Everything is good. The curries are fire.
Hands down the best Thai food in Tulsa and one that would rival most restaurants across the US. Extremely tasty and well cooked. Very friendly service too.
So Good! The soups are amazing. You will want some to go.

Yummy food, kind people
A Panang Curry to Remember
Family Thai Cuisine's Panang curry is a culinary masterpiece that will leave your taste buds dancing. The rich, creamy coconut milk base is perfectly balanced with the subtle heat of red chili paste, creating a harmonious blend of flavors. The tender chunks of meat (whether beef, chicken, or pork) are cooked to perfection, absorbing the curry's aromatic essence. The addition of fresh kaffir lime leaves and galangal adds a touch of citrusy brightness and complexity. With every bite, you'll experience a symphony of flavors that will keep you coming back for more.
I DoorDash their food and it is authentic and totally amazing. I am saying this as a chef and restaurant owner. run don’t walk and get some of the best Thai food in Tulsa
The best
Ate there Wednesday 21 Aug 2024. Ridiculously pricey! I had tofu and vegetables, friend had noodles with chicken and two appetizers. Cost was close to $60! Half way thru my meal I found a black hair in my dinner, showed waitress and received an "ooops". It is simple and small on the inside with a pleasant atmosphere, def not worth the hair in the food or the price.
Will not return and do not recommend.
My meal was delicious and the staff was kind. I'm going to try them out again soon!
Everything was delicious and amazing! The mango sticky rice was my favorite. The atmosphere was very calm and nice, and the staff were friendly and very nice! Would recommend. ❤️
Best Thai food around! Large portions, delicious Thai Tea and Curry, definitely worth it!
The sweetest people! Next time I will call-in instead of using DoorDash. Sorry for the add-on mixup. I will be sure to tip you extra the next time I'm there. Thanks for everything :)
Excellent. I will be back.
I ordered Family Fried Rice with chicken that had a few pieces of chicken. Maybe three short strands of cabbage. Mushy stewed tomato chunks. It must have been cooked in fish oil because it tasted like fish and was very gross. Fishy rice is what I got.
The chicken Pad Thai was the same. Fish tasting noodles with a few pieces of chicken. Gross.
Huge disappointment!
Family Thai is the absolute best in Tulsa!!! If you love Thai food, then this is the place. Friendly folks from Thailand that are cooking real Thai food!!! Love It!!!
Great authentic Thai food. Don't let the outside look fool you. Will definitely be back!
Just learned of them after My Thai closed, was surprised with the quality of the food.
Best Thai food in midtown. Love their pad Thai, peanut chicken skewers and spicy papaya salad
When I walked into Family Thai Restaurant, I knew I was in for a treat. As a connoisseur of Thai cuisine, my palate was eagerly anticipating the flavors that awaited me. The restaurant, while new to me, felt like a hidden gem just waiting to be discovered.
My meal was the house entrée, Fiery Passion. This dish is a harmonious blend of bell peppers, yellow onion, and fresh garlic, all brought together with succulent pieces of chicken. It's a symphony of flavors that dances on the tongue, with each ingredient playing its part to perfection. Served with a generous scoop of steamed jasmine rice, it was the perfect canvas for the main act.
I requested my dish to be Thai hot, a level of spiciness that often promises more heat than most can handle. Family Thai rose to the challenge, delivering a spice level that was not only authentically Thai but also respectful of the Oklahoma palate. It was spicy enough to break a sweat, yet not overpowering, allowing the intricate flavors to shine through.
The food was nothing short of delicious. Each bite was a reminder of why Thai cuisine holds a special place in my heart. The balance of flavors, the freshness of the ingredients, and the skillful preparation all contributed to a dining experience that was both satisfying and memorable.
Beyond the food, the restaurant itself made a lasting impression. The prices are affordable, making it accessible for anyone looking to explore the rich tapestry of Thai flavors. The service was friendly and attentive, adding a personal touch to the meal. And the cleanliness of the place spoke volumes about the pride they take in their establishment.
For those who have a penchant for Thai food, Family Thai is a must-visit. And if your culinary journey has been limited to Asian or Chinese cuisine, let this be your invitation to venture into the vibrant world of Thai flavors. Family Thai Restaurant is not just a meal; it's an experience that will ignite your passion for Thai cuisine.
I ordered take out and had the yellow curry seafood. It was amazing. I will be ordering from here again!!! Delicious! ❤️❤️
Nice and clean, very good food and very friendly waitresses.
What a nice little gem we found on 11th St just east of Mother Road Market 😍 First time trying it and we are already in love and can't wait to try more items on the menu. This place is super clean, excellent wait staff and the food was made fresh and delicious. We highly recommend eating here. I'll continue to post pics each time we come here and try something new. 😃🤙 Stay tuned. 😋
Their Pad Thai is some of the best I've had in a while. Nice local family owned joint and have been back tons of times.
Had the pad Thai it was awesome!
I will be back
Great foods! Will definitely come back.
First off you are not expecting the beautiful atmosphere inside from the humble outside.
Then the food is delicious and service is spot on.
Highly recommend.
Awesome food. Lunch portion size was just right. Golden egg rolls were perfect!
The exceptionally good service starts with a little bowl of amazing egg drop soup. Warm and flavorful.
Larb for me. Never tried it. The description on the menu: Grilled beef with fresh squeezed lime, cilantro, red onion and roasted rice powder, on a bed of cabbage garnished with cucumber slices. Lime juice, onion, cilantro and beef, that is a familiar list of ingredients. Hell, add a tortilla and this is Mexican street tacos. What could be wrong with that. I’m up for a try!
Failure to disclose….
When the meal came out, I instantly realized the restaurant had not provided a full disclosure of the ingredients. I may have made a big mistake. A very faint, but pungent stench, similar to that of a lake side bait shop on a hot summer day in Oklahoma, hit my hypersensitive nose. Fish Sauce! A drug sniffing Malinois could not have picked up on that aroma any faster than I did. Waitress, please bring the chili sauce and jalapenos. I piled them on. The cilantro, red onion, and cucumber did their assigned job; seek and mask the odorous fish sauce. They all worked together, to deliver a surprisingly tasty salad. Lots of beef in it. Good quality lean beef. Didn’t see anything that I would call roasted rice powder though. (What is roasted rice powder?). The fresh lime juice? Yeah well………. it was probably just fish sauce.
The food came to the table a little out of order. My salad first, then the appetizer and finally my wife’s curry. I ordered the Family Sampler: two fried spring rolls, two spring rolls with grilled chicken, and two golden bags. All of these items, like the meals were very fresh. I especially liked the fried spring rolls. These were made in the restaurant. Not like those nasty, frozen, factory-made egg rolls that many Asian restaurants use. The little golden bags were unusual. I would describe them as a version of a Crab Rangoon. They are good, a little sweet. The creamy spicey dipping sauce was good on everything. Be careful, the other little cup that comes with the Family Sampler is fish sauce.
My wife had the Green Curry: green curry paste, eggplant, bell pepper and Thai basil with tofu. She liked it. Too sweet for me. She also had a Thai iced coffee that she really enjoyed. A very sweet drink with a delicious strong coffee flavor.
A surprise when you walk in. This is a very nicely decorated, clean little restaurant located in a well-worn business strip on 11th. The interior is not what you would expect. The fabulous service from the attentive staff supports the restaurant’s effort to convey an upscale ambiance.
Good food and service. If you like Thai…..Give it a try!
I have been trying to find a place in Tulsa that makes good red curry. I have now found Family Thai that makes the best red curry I've ever had.
Will go back again for sure
Food very bland, doesn’t really taste like anything. I wish I didn’t waste my money. I got the pad Thai and fried rice.
Excellent food excellent atmosphere....
This place is a hidden gem! Downtown Tulsa has a lot of good Asian spots, and this is certainly one of the good ones near downtown.
The food was incredible, and the staff was friendly (& gave me some great suggestions on the food). Next time, I'm going to dine-in.
I got the Coconut Chicken Sticks, Pork Potstickers, and the Angel Hair Thai Noodles (Pad Woon Sen).
Food is delicious red curry and yellow curry is like no other also loved the crab fried rice yummy
This food has so much flavor, everything I have eaten there is excellent.
Delicious food and wonderful service. Will be back ASAP! 😋
Good food
I ordered via DoorDash and it was incredibly - perfectly packaged, hot, and obviously very fresh. The massaman curry was delicious and the fried tofu was perfect.
Though they offwe call in for take out. I suggest you plan to make it a date night dinner spot. Quiet plenty of seating at lunch or dinner times.
Always like to try a new Asian cuisine location not by Thier specialty, but by Thier Spring Roll
The care that is put in to its creation. Shows the care put into all items they offer.
Just wow!! I’m Asian so you know how picky Asians can be when it comes to other Asian foods. This place is super good and the prices are perfect! . I can’t wait to order this for corporate!
Wonderful and delicious authentic Thai food unlike any other in Tulsa. Every time I get take out or dine in I try something new. From their apps to their entrees if you crave real authentic Thai food you will not be let down.
If Tulsa has a “best server” award, Juantini at family Thai deserves it. And the chef/cooks make the best, most reliable food in Tulsa 💯 I always get the ginger fried rice and my partner from NY NY says the pad see ew is best she’s ever had. Try the pot stickers or coconut chicken for appetizers.
The service here is what you would expect from a smaller restaurant. The servers were pleasant and attentive. The food was super tasty as well. They started me off with the soup of the day, which was a vegetable egg drop soup today. This was fantastic and would have been a good soup to eat later on or on a cold and rainy day like today.
also got a spring roll which was Okay at best but the sauce with my had hints of crab in it and was delectable. It elevated the rolls to be at least Good enough for the price.
order a lunch menu item, and while it was smaller then expected the flavors did not let down. There are also other items on the table you can use to spice it up even further. I got my dish "Hot" level so it didn't need much extra in that department but it was still nice for an extra hit here and there.
I would come back here again no problem.
Pad Thai was great
The Best thai food in Tulsa ❤️🤙🏻
Came on a Friday afternoon for a solo lunch. Was greeted as soon as I walked in and quickly seated. I ordered their Golden Crispy Spring Rolls and the Pad Thai with pork.
After a few minutes, the server brought out a small steaming hot bowl of Hot & Sour soup. The soup was slightly thicker than most Hot & Sour soups I've had in the past, but the flavor was wonderful.
The rest of the order arrived about 10 minutes later. I have to say the Spring Rolls were amazing...........probably the best I've had in town......well, at least that I can remember.
I ordered the Pad Thai with spice at a level 4 out of 5, and was surprised that it really wasn't really spicy add all so I had to add chili sauce and jalapeño to kick it up a bit.
Overall this was a great lunch and I will definitely be back. If you're in the area and looking for great Thai, this is the place.
It's hands down the best Thai food in Tulsa!
Family Thai definitely is living by their name. More on that later. The food was okay. It was cater towards the Americanized palette. We had the Beef Larb Salad and the Seafood Tom Yum. The Larb was sweet. We didn’t expect that. But, service was excellent. Their only server that was there when we were there was attentive. The atmosphere was nothing to write home about. I went up to the front to pay and I notice a stroller and a play pen behind the cashier. We now realized why it was call Family Thai. I hope the infant is getting paid for his/her contribution to the restaurant name. Over all, if you want authentic Thai food, I would skip this one.
Great food, nice people, best Thai curry in the Tulsa area to my knowledge.
Come support this family owned start up business
This has become a new Friday tradition in our home. Amazing food!
It was sooooo good! We had the family appetizer and all the things were delicious! Our party also had pad see ew, lemon grass soup, papaya salad, veggie and chicken stir fry, sweet chili wings, fried rice, and panang curry. We went kinda late so it wasn't busy and we had a large party with a bunch of kids and the waitress was very patient with us. I can not stress enough how good the food is!
Food tasted great. Customer service was on point. Very friendly staff. No issues whatsoever. Clean restaurant. Will definitely return.
Tulsa finally has decent thai food. I had given up, but so glad I tried Family Thai. We've gotten take out a few times now and everything is solid!!
Absolutely LOVED my time here today. It’s the absolute best thai food I’ve had since I moved from the Seattle area. Flavors were on point, the staff was great, and the atmosphere was great. Can’t wait to come back again and again!!
Well from seeing you all go to Family Thai. I finally made my where there (Rozay actually looked open) the lady that served me was sweet and attentive. Food came out quick. The cheese roll was not what I was expecting it is more like a spring roll. It was good and fresh. I really wanted cheese wantons lesson learned. The fried spring roll was good. I like the ones at Lisu better. The pai Thai combo was pretty good. The sauce and peanuts was tasty. The shrimp was good in it too. The chicken pork and beef lacked flavor and needed some seasoning The restaurant was clean and inviting The strong paint smell I think was coming from Rozays next door. I would come back I want to try the soup. The butter mints at the end was an extra bonus. I love those
OMG...what a gem! My entrees were so good! There were only a few people in this very warm and charming restaurant. when the world gets out... you're gonna need to call ahead. The food and service was outstanding!
I’m pregnant and don’t want to get out much. My husband gets take out a couple times a week from here and brings me the pot stickers home from time to time, and they’re the best I’ve ever had. We’ve loved everything we’ve had.
Very very good!
The best Thai food in town!! All our appetizers and meals were excellent and authentic, made by the owner himself. Everything is made from scratch and my wife especially loves the peanut sauce. Pad Thai and the cream cheese wontons (golden bags) were phenomenal with homemade cream cheese. Great food and service! Try Family Thai!!
Husband and I just tried this restaurant this evening and we’re totally converted. This is now our favorite Thai restaurant in town. Every dish was absolutely excellent, service was wonderful, atmosphere was very pleasant and calming with nice peaceful music playing. Don’t think, just go!
I ordered pad Thai (Thai hot) and garlic chili wings to-go. Delicious, full of flavor and fresh ingredients. I am making Family Thai my go-to for Thai food in Tulsa :)
We have been looking for a Thai place for ages, and Family Thai did not disappoint. The Massuman Curry and Coconut Soup were amazing!
Yellow curry was so good and so were the spring rolls.Got carry out was quick. Will be going back
We ordered out on a dreary day and this was perfect. I had the green curry and my partner has the red the spice levels were the real deal with I very much appreciated. We have been looking for a local quality Thai place for years and this is it! Can't wait to have this again and definitely recommend to others !
I am sometimes hesitant about new restaurants but Family Thai was incredible!! I am super picky with Thai food after living in Thailand, but their green curry brought me back to my time in Thailand. They were so kind there, too. Both my fiancé and I love this place!
We ordered take out and the food and service were great. Best Thai spot in town. Have some unique dishes and ingredients on the menu. Will return again.
The restaurant was super clean, staff was friendly.
This is the best Thai food I’ve had. Red curry with chicken and shrimp was amazing. The golden bags were delicious and sweet which was a little unexpected. I don’t often review but seeing a quality place open up and crush it. I wanted to let people know it’s incredibly good.
It’s right by my house so I’ll probably go here a lot.
Had the pad Thai. So good. Great service. Clean
Our go to for Thai food.
When you ask for Thai Spicy, they give you actual Thai Spicy..... nice 🥵🔥🥵
So happy to have a new Thai restaurant in Tulsa! I've eaten there four times in the last week. 😄 The green peppercorn dish was unique with lots of wonderful new flavors. The larb salad had the full blend of tantalizing flavors of Thai food. It was nice to see that the green curry actually had Asian eggplant in it!
We had takeout on Thursday night. Everything was fresh and had a wonderful taste. Very authentic flavors. Please give this place a try !
Came in here since I saw it on Facebook and was pleasantly surprised. The food is the most delicious Thai food we have had. We started with an appetizer sampler which was great. Egg drop soup was yummy even though I don't normally like egg drop soup.
My daughter had chicken pad thai and I have never had pad thai that good. My wife had the holy basil and I had the Thai BBQ. Super tasty. Portion sizes were perfect for my wife and daughter. I might ask for a bigger portion for myself next time.
Had the Yellow Curry. Best curry I’ve ever had. I will be back! Was laughing at all the people behind me raving about how good the food is.
I will be back!
This place is a great addition to the area! Have eaten here twice and it has been great both times. Curry is fantastic and pad tai is delicious. Very friendly staff. My go to now for Thai food.
Laid back atmosphere; plenty of space with simple tables/chairs and a couple booths. A late lunch (13:00) and there are still several tables occupied with guests.
Fried tofu spring rolls were full of flavor and the accompanying peanut sauce was subtle and elegant. A hot tea request was met with a mug and tea bag (was hoping for more like a pot of tea)
Tofu Massaman curry - potatoes cooked perfectly; curry had amazing, well-balanced flavors. Thai heat had a bit of spice, though the various pepper container accompaniment was icing on the cake. This meal reminds me of what I had in Thailand last week.
Incredibly good food at a reasonable price and friendly staff as well. Probably the best potstickers I can remember and absolutely delicious turmeric fried rice. Will be back!
Really outstanding place! All 6 of our dishes were fresh, very well prepared, and extremely full of flavor. The tempura chicken appetizer was particularly good. Larb, Pad Thai, and curry were very, very good also. The menu is a great balance of authentic and also standard Thai restaurant options. Service was great as well. May be the best Thai place in Tulsa.
The food was very good. We had fried rice, red curry pad thai, chicken satay skewers and the golden bags. All of it was great!! Inside has a nice clean and tidy appearance. Very friendly service as well. I will definitely be back.
Green curry - phenomenal flavor full of depth.
Very impressed and will return very soon
Been waiting for a Thai restaurant in Tulsa to knock my socks off and this pretty much does it. Being just down the street means it may just become a second home. Excellent food with wonderful, rich, complex flavors. A great variety on the menu, with decent veggie options to boot. A warm, inviting space with an even warmer staff. Let's just say that any cold that ices you over this Tulsa winter with be sufficiently thawed before you walk out the door. I'll be back again and again just to explore the menu. A+++
We are so glad Family Thai opened so close to us. We ordered the family sampler, pineapple fried rice, pad see ew, red curry, coconut soup, Thai iced coffee, l sweet chrysanthemum drink, and both desserts; and everything was delicious. The waitress was also so sweet. We will definitely be back for more.
Great customer service, very helpful and kind people. Upscale yet very home-y and cozy dine in vibes. Food was great. Red curry and Drunken noodles were very delicious. Thai tea was so good. Overall a great experience,I can't wait to go back!!!!!!
My husband & I are so excited that Family Thai is in our neighborhood! We had a late lunch there today - egg drop soup, appetizer sampler, yellow curry, and Holy Basil stir fry. Every bite was delicious! Medium spice was just spicy enough for us (enough that it builds but doesn’t hurt). The service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable.
