The service was very good and we highly recommend you give them a try.

I’ve tried most of the Thai spots in the area, and Banana Thai Kitchen easily ranks among my top two. The restaurant features beautiful décor, excellent service, and simply amazing food. I highly recommend the tom yum noodle soup, beef noodle soup, Thai tea, and fried tofu—everything tasted incredible! The prices are affordable, yet the food presentation rivals that of a high-end establishment. Our server was incredibly sweet, checking in regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back!

This place is still a hidden gem. I’m a traveler who loves Thai food , that means I have tried so many Thai restaurants… I can assure you this is exceptional. Food quality is perfect, service impecable, many options in the menu you won’t find in other Thai places .

We ordered a ton of food because we couldn't decide what to get. It was all delicious. We will definitely be going back.
I had the tempura shrimp appetizer, my husband had the chicken wings.
I also ordered the Basil fried rice, and the pad thai.
I didn't eat all of it if course, and the leftovers were even yummier the next day.
I can't remember what my husband ordered, for his main dish. I was too busy with my food. His was gone in no time, so it must've been good.

A friend and I came here after reading the great reviews. We tried the cucumber salad, pad thai with tofu, tom kha with tofu, and the mango curry with chicken. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented.

I'm here visiting friends for the holidays, but this place would easily be in the steady rotation if I lived here.

The food is amazing! I always get the mango stick rice and mango curry with tofu. I’m hooked on this place. If inflation wasn’t killing me I would eat there every week. The prices are good and the service is amazing the food is always out so quickly and they use such tasty fresh fruits and vegetables. I highly recommend TBK.

The prices were fine. The quantity was regular. The location was easy, but the parking lot is shared with a number of other businesses, making it hard sometimes to find parking.

Seeing the reviews I thought this place was going to knock my socks off. It was good, and if someone wanted to go, I would go again; I'm just probably not going to be the person to pick it.

Also, the spicy scale is 1 to 5; I got the three and discerned no spiciness.

If you can, I'd say make the trip to Shawnee -- I'd make the drive just for that Thai.

The food was amazing! Highly recommend you eat here. The pineapple fried rice, drunken noodles and pad thai were outstanding. The sauces are great as well! There is a green cilantro sauce that I would drink, I liked it so much. They are very sweet and attentive, I will be back

I came here on a morning when I was feeling sick, I had the spicy shrimp soup and I kid you not I felt better than ever. The rich ginger broth was so soothing for my body. I definitely recommend coming here for authentic amazing quality food!

We ordered online to pick up and when I arrived it was actually ready! Got it home to eat and got started and it was amazing. Absolutely everything we ordered was fantastic. We did figure out we were missing the spring rolls we ordered but everything was so amazing we didn't miss them. The best pineapple fried rice I have ever had outside of Thailand. We will be eating here again soon.

We ordered takeout from here tonight. I got the red curry and Thai tea. While I appreciate that the curry was filled with a lot more vegetables than other places, I feel like it wasn't nearly as flavorful as red curry from other Thai restaurants. I will say that the spice level is on par with actual spice levels, which was nice bc I feel like a lot of restaurants are hit or miss with spice levels. Also the Thai tea was delicious!

We really love Banana Thai. It is a great Thai place here on the north side. My kid is all about nuclear-spicy Pad Thai. I am low carb so I normally do a curry or a soup with extra veg, no rice or noodles. I have tried literally all of the soups and curries on the menu at this point and they are all delicious. The food is always very hot, fresh, and exceptionally flavorful.

This place is delicious! My fiance and I drove from Midwest City just to try it in the evening. We have tempura shrimp, massaman curry, pad thai, and mango sticky rice and they were all so tasty! The inside of the restaurant is so pretty too!

My husband and I ordered a variety of food and all of them were delicious and our daughter enjoyed them too. I’m glad my in-laws recommended this place. Great atmosphere too.

We ate here tonight 8/28 and it was excellent all around. The place is clean, the service was friendly and the food was great. We had spring rolls, wife had mango curry w/chicken on a 3 spice level and I had drunken noodles with chicken on a 4. We both felt the spice levels came out as desired and the portions & quality were appropriate for the price. We will definitely eat here again.

The restaurant is beautiful and clean, but it was not busy and it was not evident if we were supposed to seat ourselves until a few minutes of us standing there. Our water had lemon and cucumber in it which was a nice touch. We ordered the crab wontons as a starter, because I love me a crab Rangoon. The wrappers on them were too thin and even though they had clearly just been fried, the filling was still cold. The flavors were great, I will say, but that is something that made me not want to order them again. The complimentary salad is delicious! Whatever crunchy pieces they put on made it delicious, I just didn't love all the big chunks of radishes. My husband ordered the massaman curry and I got the Pad See Ew, both with chicken. I asked for medium spice and he wanted spicy. After a few bites, I realized how spicy mine was and I tried my husband's and it wasn't spicy. I think they mixed up our spice levels and while I can handle spice, it made my dish less than enjoyable even though I know I would love it without the spice. To the point of knowing they mixed our spice, they brought out spices for my husband to add to his curry.
With all of this to say, it was probably the best Thai food I've had in a bit, but I think there are some things that can be improved upon for sure! I loved how fresh everything was and the servers were so sweet. We will be back!

The food was excellent! The server on the other hand wasn’t. She didn’t give us time to give her a tip. She came up to the table and said was I not good, am I not getting a tip that has never happened to me before I always tip, we still gave her a tip despite of her actions. so again the food was excellent. Just the service needs a little work. It wasn’t even about the tip. She wasn’t friendly to
start with and certainly not at the end.

This was a good restaurant. The number of TVs on the wall is almost absurd and borders on obnoxious, but the food made up for it. Fresh cut veggies and plenty of flavors. I got the drunken noodle and ate almost the whole plate. My wife got something, and it was very tasty as well. The potstickers were as expected but didn't stand out from the norm.

We’re not even home yet. However, the priority is to get the word out about this place ASAP. We stumbled across it while searching for Thai restaurants, and are always excited to try a new place!

We were NOT disappointed. The service was fast and EXTREMELY considerate, with options for spicy or not spicy. The portion sizes were good, but the real star of the show is that FLAVOR.

The seasoning and sauces were exceptional and deserves the rightful definition of “going to flavor town”. We have leftovers that will definitely NOT see tomorrow (because I’m finishing it tonight).

Went on a Sunday afternoon and I think they were about to close, but the place was empty. Lots of light in the place and had kinda an industrial atmosphere. Any time I go to a new Thai restaurant, I always get the same thing: Pad Kee Mao, medium spiciness. Before the food came out, I was served a small salad and let me tell you, that salad was amazing; my only complaint was the chunks of radish. The salad already had slices of radish, which were fine, but the chunks were a little much. Shortly after finishing the salad, the entree came out. It looked appetizing and smelled great. As I dug into it, I began to notice a few things. First, and the thing that stood out the most, was the spice level; the 3 is more like a 1. Thankfully, the waitress had brought me some extra chili flakes to add and that fixed that problem. The next issues couldn't be fixed as easily, though. Second, the chunks of veggies were a little too large; because of this, I had to forego using chopsticks and use a fork unless I wanted to spend an exorbitant amount of time trying to eat my meal. Also, the veggies were a little undercooked, in my opinion; they added a crunch to the noodles that I wasn't expecting. Lastly, there wasn't enough basil for my tastes. Everything else was great. I'll definitely be going again, but ordering it without the bell pepper and add a little extra basil.

THE best Thai food in OKC! The beef salad was full of flavor and the tom kha had a great kefir lime flavor! The massaman curry was fabulous and we could taste every layer of spice. The green curry was perfectly spicy and the chilis on top had great flavor! The service was speedy and attentive and the entire place restrooms included were clean and well decorated! I highly recommend this restaurant for excellent thai food!

Banana Thai is a hidden gem. My wife and I stopped by for curry today (we had Panang and pineapple). Both were vibrant and full of flavor, with a good level of spice. The service was friendly and attentive. We love this place!

Went in for a dinner date night and had a really great time. We were seated immediately after walking in, then were given waters and menus to start. The waitress even left a pitcher of ice cold water on the table for us. The appetizers came to the table really fast and were plated like a fine dining plate should be. Simple and clean. The chicken curry and fried rice came out fast, hot, and fresh. The food tasted amazing, but the only problem is my girlfriend won't share her leftovers. Portion sizes are enough for dinner and even lunch the next day. It was around $50 for the two of us to eat there and well worth it. Really enjoyed how big the booth tables are. Plenty of space for plates, bowels, cups, and silverware. The inside looks freshly remodeled and has a nice atmosphere. I was recommend this place from 4 diffrent people and am glad I came. Now I recommend to you. 5/5

I did not pay 13.95 ( still too high ) for an sample appetizer, BUT since your recept does NOT have a break down of what I ordered I can't prove what I paid ...I guess you know that ! Good food but some items are grossly over priced ! They will soon learn this isn't Utah! For instance the sample appetizer is 17 bucks for 2 or 3 of wanton and spring roll !!! I rarely leave reviews, but this place is awesome. I can never find a Thai place that takes me seriously when I tell then I want my face to melt off due to the spice. On my first visit I told them I wanted it as spicy as they could make it, and told them I would make them my main Thai restaurant if they did. They delivered. Not only was the food spicy, it was incredibly flavorful. As I wrote this my fiancé is on her way to put up our dinner.

We went today for our second visit and it was even better than the first time! Such kind staff, quick service, and most importantly….phenomenal food. We had the tempura shrimp for app, I had the Thai Chow mein and my wife had the Panang Curry. So delicious and fresh. And I had a yummy thai tea as well! Can’t wait to go back and try more !

Truly great Thai food. Pad Kee Mao is one of my go to orders and with most places it’s fine. However, there are few places where this dish is extremely good in my opinion. It’s kind of simple, so while it’s a classic, it rarely shines. However, this was one of the best Pad Kee Mao dishes I’ve had in years! This will be a staple order for me here. I also tried the Panang curry, which is my all time favorite food. While I can’t say it was the best I’ve ever had, it was still what I would consider a perfect Panang. I will absolutely be making this place a go to and I look forward to trying more things on the menu. I was also satisfied with their heat level. I ordered Thai hot, and it was a respectable level of spicy. Personally I would have loved for it to have been spicier, as I feel like it was what a 5 should be, but I’m just happy I could register the heat. It’s frustrating when I get Thai and their “Thai hot” just doesn’t cut it.

Love this place!! The food is amazing and worth the price, and their appetizers are great! I love getting food from here, the employees are thoughtful and attentive and always welcoming. Every meal from here is special. Don't forget to try the Thai Iced tea!

This is my 3rd time to go to Banana Thai. It was very quit and we had the Drunken noodles as well as the Massaman curry. The drunken noodles were very good however I prefer Panang2’s Massaman Curry. The only thing I would say is they need to have a lunch special that allows you to have a smaller portion of their menu items for a lunch price.

What a gem! I got the Panang curry with chicken (spice level 4). It's richer and more complex than the curry I usually get. The service was top notch and the interior is modern and lovely. This is my new favorite Thai restaurant in OKC.

Nice Thai Restaurant. Newly remodeled restaurant.. Good menu with much to choose from. Tried the Pot Stickers and Pad Kee Mao with chicken and my friend had the Sweet and Sour Chicken w/ Steamed Rice.

We were very happy with our drunken noodles, spring rolls, and cucumber salad. They will be in our rotation for sure. Especially on the weekend because they don't close at 8 like all the other Thai places. If you like Thai, you will probably really like this place.

Absolutely delicious and nice-sized portions, the lid barely fit on the rice and pad Thai dishes! Spicy is actually spicy, lots of veggies and proteins, definitely going back.

What a beautiful and intimate restaurant to sit down and dine in. My daughter & I enjoyed crab Rangoon and Mango fish.

I went there and was surprised by how nice the atmosphere was. They were really nice and I highly recommend the potstickers and the yellow chicken curry :)

Do not pass this place up, it is phenomenal. I stopped in to get something to eat but wasn't super hungry so I went with a cup of tom yum soup with tofu, spice level 5/5 plus a side of jasmine rice. The soup was very flavorful had some great spice to it and the rice was so fluffy. The owner also let me know that most of their dishes can be made vegan as well as long as we request it when we order which is a big plus as well. So happy to have a Thai place so nearby to where we live!

Fantastic service and the food was excellent!! I had the crispy spring rolls and they are delicious. They are perfect size and the sauce goes very well together. For main dish i had the chicken Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles). I did level 5 out of 5 spice and it was a little hot but could be much more heat. The dish was excellent and I would definitely recommend it! I will definitely be coming back very soon!!

Stumbled across this place by accident. The atmosphere here is so chilled and the interior design is nice. The food here is awesome, came out nice and hot! The staff is so nice and friendly, We’ll definitely be back

Oklahoma City is privileged to get Anna at Banana Thai Kitchen. I have been at other restaurants of her’s and let me tell you the Basil fried rice is fantastic and so is the Spicy Basil. Many I time I would be in conflict with my self as to which plate I wanted. The Tom Kha soup is to die for. If she decides to do a special daily meal thats written on a board, do not pass up the opportunity to order it. Whatever you order just keep this in mind, end every meal with the sticky rice mango. Last thing if you are a coffee drinker you must have the Thai coffee, and yes it’s a restaurant but don’t be timid. I’ve shown up just for the coffee and then continued on my way. Check it out you will not be disappointed.
