We serve fine Thai cuisine for dine in, take out. Order online available on our website.
I hate to be critical but I must and it's partially my fault. I should've seen all the signs upon sitting down in an empty restaurant at 5:30pm on a Saturday afternoon.
I immediately had to use the wash room and the hallway floor to the bathroom is so greasy I almost fell. Secondly the bathroom is so dimly lit. You can't see within your own reach, perhaps invest in a lightbulb and lastly, the owner of the restaurant is standing by the kitchen entrance, which is a shared hallway into the bathroom, with a fly swatter, swatting at flies.
Now onto the food! Let me start it's more Chinese on the menu than Thai. Our two entrees, first garlic chicken is really stir fried chicken with a bowl of rice and second entree is drunken noodle but its just ordinary beef cheung fun. Our spring roll appetizer was so unappealing, they’re simply put onto an oversized plate which immediately turn my appetite away. Lemon Leaf is really chinese food disguised as Thai dishes. Both dishes bland and my drunken noodle was more sweet than spicy as advertised.
The Zagat survey on the wall may have been true in 2009 but still hanging on the wall 14 years later doesn't represent the true taste and quality of a restaurant.
Bottom line is I'm willing to give any restaurant a fair chance however, I would be hard pressed for a return visit. There are several authentic Thai restaurants around the area and much better overall experience for about same cost.
My reasoning for two stars solely based on my waitress doing all she could to mask the inadequacies of this dimly lit and patron less establishment.
Lemon Leaf Thai Restaurant in Mineola, NY, provides a mixed dining experience. While some customers enjoy the large portions and flavorful dishes, others find the food lacking in spice and authenticity. The casual ambiance with ample seating makes it convenient for a quick meal. However, the overall quality of the food and occasional rude service from delivery staff have left some patrons disappointed. The Pad Thai, in particular, was not good at all. As an unhappy customer, I found the experience underwhelming and not worth a return visit. Improvements in food quality and service are needed.
Got takeout and food tasted ok but Too pricey! Cost me 50 bucks for two noodle dishes, a soup and mimosas. The mimosas are finger-nailed sized and cost 11 dollars.
Best mango sticky rice I’ve ever had in my life. I can’t believe I’ve lived in this area for over a year and never ate from here before. Everything was absolutely delicious and tasted extremely fresh. I ordered the coconut chicken noodles, very savory with some spice. my boyfriend got the sautéed chicken and broccoli, he told me he’ll never eat chicken and broccoli unless it’s from here. Totally recommend. Also, extremely great delivery time. thank you for your delicious food and service.
Tried some random noodles and surprised by the quantity and flavor of them! Would definitely recommend and buy again, soups are also top notch along with their beef satars ! pineapple coconut fried rice comes with chicken which makes it one of the cheaper but also filling meals!
Great food and drinks
got pad thai with chicken from here, probably the best one i've had

I’m Thai and this is not authentic because Chinese cook Thai food I hear they speak Chinese .taste is ok but some order is completely wrong they don’t understand what exactly Thai food look like . I recommend couple block Sripraphai restaurant is Thai cook, owner is Thai and authentic .

It's just... okay.
Food is decent. Unfortunately my last visit there was a bug in my chicken.
If there were 0 star I would rate that. I ordered Drunken Noodles with chicken and it was super dry. They literally served it with only the noodles, few pieces chicken and few pieces onions. Definitely not recommended.
OMG!! Lemon Leaf is THEE BOMB DOT COM. The food was amazingly delicious, exactly what my family and I needed on a rainy Saturday summer night. The taste and the portion amount was great! Not to mention the delivery was first class service. Thank you very much!

Extremely clean, nice atmosphere, healthy non greasy food and SAVORY
For a great price
Will return
the food is wonderful. I had the shrimp wrapped with noodles and it was wonderful. Very tasty. And i had pad thai it was also wonderful
Chicken pad see yew lunch special. Delicious, flavourful with lots of chicken, simply the best Thai in nassau
Not the best Thai food. Food really lacks a lot of the flavors and spices that Thai food usually has. Probably watered down for the demographic near by. The drunken noodles lacked flavor and sauce. The only thing well seasoned was the beef in it. The basil fried rice was partially burnt, peppery but again had absolutely no flavor with a lack of salt to even enhance it. I will be sticking to Thai restaurants in the city.
We shared a goodbye luncheon for two coworkers. The food arrived fast and it was delicious! Service was excellent and the restaurant had a very welcoming atmosphere
Consistently yummy Thai flavors. Our go-to dishes are always delicious. We usually do take-out, but the times we have dined in were also great experiences.
Anytime I’m in Long Island I have to stop here to buy their food. Great service, not too long of a wait and best part is the food taste great. If you order Pad Thai, try it with their dumpling sauce.
I would not have even wasted my time making this review if I wasn’t serious, maybe the food is your favorite food, but there is something wrong here and The Lady Mendy was very off in the way she treated me. I think you should reconsider endorsing poor behavior besides it’s the Long Island way to respect people in your restaurant. Maybe her name was Cindy or Mindy very mean to me.
At Lemon Leaf (Miniola)
Well I cannot vouch for the food because I didn’t get what I wanted. I ordered a carry out of Chicken Padh Thai medium spicy. What I got was Chicken Padh Thai NOT spicy. I did notify the restaurant of the mistake. Hope in the future that they can avoid such mistakes. Since I was already a 20 min drive away from the restaurant I didn’t want to return to get it corrected. I’ve lived in long island for 2 years. Most of my dining experiences here have been sub par in taste and or mistakes. Such a disappointment that I gotta drive to the City, Queens, or Brooklyn to get good tasting foods. 😩
Lemon Leaf in Mineola is my go-to spot for great Thai food. Their portion size is great, takeout and delivery service is very fast and always accurate. The food is delicious. I have loved everything that I have ordered from here.
Ordered drunken noodles, which is suppose to be spicy. But it had no spice and was very sweet
I ordered lunch special and asked for no rice and no corn, but extra broccoli that already comes in it. Why am I being charged $4 more when I took out 2 items and asked for more of 1 that is already included.
Such a gem of a place! The staff is so sweet and attentive! The waitress did an amazing job explaining everything and she knew we all wanted to share plates so she brought sharing plates right away. The food was delicious and portions are very generous. After a long day in the sun, this place was the perfect spot to eat. Will definitely be going again!
Places was great I had a grea time
Awesome Pad Thai! Perfect blend of sweet and spicy!
The food was tasty; portions are good except for the mango-sticky rice. There was something off with the sticky rice’s taste
It's always a great experience. My personal favorite is the Fried Red Snapper with Tamarind sauce and I love it so much I can't bring myself to order anything else!
The food was great. A very nice family place. Friendly people.
Loved the drunken noodle
Order via Uber eats, the fried rice was more the Chinese fried rice, with peas and carrots? No Smokey flavor. Pretty basic for $17. Tom yum soup was okay. Just average.
Basil chicken is very good. We keep asking them to kick up the spice. Maybe they think we can't handle it. Good portions, good prices. Big takeout business. Eat in atmosphere is ok.
What an excellent restaurant and delicious food.
This is the best Thai food in Nassau County! You will not be disappointed! Joy is also a fantastic waitress!
Food is always good. Staff is always nice.
Great food great place , shrimp pad tai is my favorite.
Was waiting my friend inside car which parked at the rear. The side door and kitchen door was widely open so I able to see through to the kitchen inside my car. The first sight I saw is the chef is picking his nose, and he start prepare the food without wash his hand. After the food is cooked, few pieces drop to floor and he just put it back to the container. And the trays of eggs, instead put inside the fridge they put it under the fridge on the floor. Immediately change my plan. Horrible hygiene!

My all-time favorite Thai restaurant. I will never go anywhere else. The food is absolutely delicious, and very fairly priced. Super charming little restaurant. They also do delivery.
Their food was ok..peanut chicken was better than Drunken Noodles..we went for dinner not like before they close but somehow we felt they pushed to place orders. They did not have Papaya Salad in the Menu…Average taste..service was fast and pushing..atmosphere is good for friends and family….
I have been ordering from Lemon Leaf in Mineola for years.
Great food and employees. My orders are always correct.
Yummy food Great customer service
The absolute worse thai food I’ve had. The shu mai had no flavor, even after dipped in the sauce. The drunken noodles were even worse. I requested for it to be spicy and they were sweet. Additionally, they were dry and didn’t seem stir fried at all. Complete waste of money. Clearly this is Thai food for white people.
Best Thai I've tasted. Food was very tasty and aromatic.
Flavors are not very well developed. I had to take my meal home and continue cooking with curry spices so that it would develop more and have deeper flavor. It feels like cheap, quickly made thai food. It's okay if you're not picky, but if you're a foodie, there are much better choices.
Great place. Food is fresh and delicious.
The staff is always professional. Support the local businesses.
Food good but not spectacular. Had drunken noodles with vegetables. Generally not so much flavor in the dish. Ordered spicy, but was far from it.
Food Review: Pretty good, nothing too outstanding; it's what'd you expect from thai
Eating-In Review: Everything was great, ate there with my family and the service was great. Not too overbearing or up in your face, but just enough to make us feel acknowledged. Wasn't too many people there and the atmosphere was pleasant; shrouded in mellow-yellow.
Tried some random noodles and surprised by the quantity and flavor of them! Would definitely recommend and buy again, soups are also top notch along with their beef satars ! pineapple coconut fried rice comes with chicken which makes it one of the cheaper but also filling meals!
Planning to have a gathering in this restaurant. It changed my mind once I step in the door. I smelled someone is smoking inside the restaurant. When leaving, a smoking guy open the side door and spit in front of me! It's totally disgusting.
This place used to be very good and the service as well. Now tiny bugs flying around the food, oily plate, dirty glass, rude waitress, and they are smoking inside restaurant. Seems the management/owner has been changed. It's like old style Chinese restaurant.
The people in this restaurant are very racist I came in here last night to pick up an Uber eats order for a customer I’m a black female when I walked in the restaurant nobody said hello can I help you just stared at me even this Asian lady looked me straight in the face and dropped her head but continued serving the white man at the bar smh they eventually acknowledged me I grabbed the order and left they don’t have to worry about me coming into there RACIST restaurant again.
We love this place, great service and really good food
Very good quality food at reasonable prices. The place always has people in it and appears clean and well managed.
The food was ok. Nothing Really made me want to go wow.
Finished shopping and want to eat Thailand food. It's a bit far from the shopping area but worth it. 😋
Food is delicious.
We dine here once a week. Always great food and friendly staff.
Didn't like it and got really sick after. Allergic with MSG and something is definitely wrong there. Most of the workers eating pills of foods on the counter while we're eating. Not a classy place and food quality at all. Won't go back there.
Average-at most, chicken fried rice.
Great spot for Thai food. The food was top notch. Great service.
Not bad place and affordable.
Catering order for office lunch and Lemon Thai did a great job. Chicken Pad See Yu and Mango Shrimp we're delicious.
Great taste. High CP value.
I go here often. Food is more exciting than any other local takeout place.
Love it
They were dismissive about my food allergies. I got sick. And we still had to pay. Service was medicore at best, borderline rude at worst.
Enjoyed their Thai fried rice options! So delicious, large portions, complimentary sauces and consistent flavors as we ordered twice from this restaurant!
Local Thai restaurant with a wide selection of dishes. The food comes out fast and there is good service.
I was looking for Thai food. It was more asian, I did not like my dish
Got Uber Eats while on vacation as i was craving Thai. Spicy basil rice and chicken satay were fantastic. Mongolian beef was a miss for the price. Very poor cut of beef and more green and yellow onion than beef. Would definitely recommend this place but stay away from their Mongolian beef.
This is not Thai food , this is Chinese food , nothing tastes Thai here at all , this is another restaurant using the Thai brand for Financial gain, I would not recognize this restaurant at all , if you want real Thai food then go to SriPraPhai, to get a real authentic Thai food.
Good food and selection
I ordered several dishes through Uber Eat. This is the worst Thai restaurant I have ever experienced. There is nothing about Thai foods here, it is 98% Chinese except the names on the menu sound Thai. Huge mistake. It is not even worth Chinese foods. Worst foods, worst experience.....
Nice warm friendly and attentive service. We know our Thai food and unfortunately this will not be a place to return to soon. The green papaya salad was very bland, couldn’t even taste (or find) any green papaya and they bulked it up with crunchy rice noodles. The spring rolls were mushy inside. However, the highlight of the evening was the fried calamari. Very delicate and tasty so we enjoyed that. My husband had the spicy basil chicken and he enjoyed that. I had the whole fried snapper. A bit bland again so I asked for some Thai chili sauce. The mango sticky rice for dessert was a disaster. The mango was green and cut too thick and the coconut rice was soupy and not sweet. They need to up their game a bit back in the kitchen.
Good food. I always get the Pad See Yew. It is not to sweet or to sour. Perfect amount of seasoning. Recommend.
The food used to be very good and the service as well. Now, the food takes forever to come to your table, you have to get up yourself to ask 2, 3 tumes for your drinks.
It seems they are only concerned about the deliveries and pick ups, than the clientele dining in.
Every minute someone gets in and out of the restaurant, they do not have doble door, so if you dinning in you are going ro get your food as cold as you can imagine, and even if you request for the heater to be increased, they won't do it.
It's a shame that they do not care, when you're spending your money in their business.
If you coming here expect to be ignored and to get out of there cold than how you walked in.
Love the food...clean place ...
Great staff
This food looks and taste like what I believe vomit would taste like
Ordered papaya salad and it was flavorless ..no lime juice fish sauce oh yeah maybe 2 ounce of papaya..instead it had a deep fried puffy snack that resembles papaya ..got the basil shrimp
Fried rice ..for starters there was no basil ..and the shrimp were the frozen steamed on you get in the grocery store ..also ordered the basil chicken ..that was another disaster…I’m not sure why they’re advertising THAI dishes but nothing tasted Thai…it was like reheated steamed Flavorless food ..this food was absolutely disgusting and pricy ..
Chicken drunken noodle is delicious. Service is good as well.
Good food
We've been meaning to try this place for a while, and so glad we finally did. We got takeout, and it was absolutely delicious. Also, I left my card at home by accident, and digital pay wasn't working, and they were kind enough to let me take the food home, and call and pay once I got home - classy move. Can't wait to order again.
Food and service is excellent
Dont let the 4 stars fool you, in terms of authenticity , place ranks a 2/5 at best. bland thai food missing that fish sauce funk and umami. almost watered down in terms of flavor.
worst of all, found a hair in our green curry and after was given a refund after much convincing, store credit wouldnt sufice. Was met with a shrug and an eye roll when showed picture to staff of the hair soaked in the curry. (this upset me the most)
papaya salad was by far one of the blandest ive had in comparision to Ayeda Thai, Sripapai & Spicy Shallot (generic "papaya salad") according to them it was a differnt style? but by far worse than the standard papaya salad.
Food was amazing but their service for dine-in is awful. I recommend just ordering take out
The food is awful!
We couldn’t eat Basil fried rice and teriyaki chicken, foul smell and as a Thai Cuisine they doesn't taste like Thai.
We feel like through them out, i don't know do they really know what Thai cuisine is not.
Basil duck and pad Thai- all these item taste so sweet and similar taste. Basil duck looks same as like teriyaki, they even don't bother to justify with actual basil duck dish.
Washroom is not clean, OMG!!! How they run a business.
Its better to eat in deli or in street restaurant.
Delicious for take out, large portions and not too pricey
I frequently order take out from this place and it is awesome!! Great prices and great food. The staff is always helpful and very nice. The food is very authentic and I’ve never had a bad dish from here!
Great authentic Tai restaurant.
Ordered the green curry and it was disgusting. Had a fishy smell, salty and the vegetable that they used was overcooked, soft, and just inedible. 🤮🤮🤢🤢
Fast service. Food is ok for the price.
I always have an upset stomach after having lunch here. I don't think the food is fully cooked.
This is the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to in my entire life. I will never enjoy anybody else’s pad thai and I have tried. I love it here and have been coming here for almost a decade.
The food was tasteless. A Big Mac has more taste than this food. Just simply AWFUL! BTW the deep fried banana dessert says it comes with honey but SYRUP IS NOT HONEY! WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!
Excellent mango shrimp
Best tai food
Not that good.
Awesome food always, well worth the drive out to grab something.
Excellent food, they were able to make shrimp pad Thai without soy sauce in order for it to be gluten and it tasted very flavorful! Very well priced too.
Really love this place. I come here all the time and often order take out. Super kind and helpful staff and delicious food. It's a small business that I'm always happy to support!
Omg the food was disgusting. I was so embarrassed buying this for my entire family. I have been to many Thai restaurants and lived in Thailand. This is not authentic at all. Why was the noodles u cooked? It has nothing to do with delivery because I get noodles delivered all the time and never got it uncooked. The chicken satay didn't even come with peanut sauce. The fried dumplings were dry and rubbery. I didn't taste the chicken teriyaki but my sister said it was terrible.
Took way to long so I have to cancel my order
Delicious food. Extremely generous portions and freshness at its peak each and every single time. Lemon Leaf never disappoints. It’s a gem.
Food is fresh. Delivery was packed well. The mango with sticky rice is outstanding.
Thai restaurant, many different Thai foods to choice from, all are quality delicious food. They have a sit in, and take out. Street parking. Highly recommended, surely will come back.
Great customer service liked the woman food is a delicious adventure recommend snapper and beef
I ordered Pad Thai as that’s my typical first dish at any new Thai restaurant I try. If the that’s underwhelming I know not to bother ordering again. I won’t be ordering again.
By far some of the most exciting flavors you will find on Long Island. I love the Tom soup, the Pad Thai, and the Papaya salad for my lunchtime go to choices. i am so very lucky to have these fine food artists so close to office.
Great food, great service and love the fast service. Thank you
