Let’s talk about EAV That & Sushi real quick. I’ve never really been a Thai food eater. I’ll eat it if that’s what the majority wants but I’ve never been the one to have to have it. Baby listen, EAV That & Sushi has me in a choke hold as the food is AMAZNG!!!!

We were in the area as Shaunie said it is one of her favorite places to go, as such, we went. Walking in, the ambiance is really low key and has a great feel to it. It’s perfect for friends, dates, or even alone. After we walked in we were able to be seated immediately. Continuing to take in the ambiance, the feel was so chill. There was a game on each television and the music was playing in the background. Yep, I’m here for all of this.

Upon taking our seats, I ordered a sweet tea and began to scroll the menu.

Taking a moment to take in the menu as there are an abundance of options, I decided on the Spring Rolls as an Appetizer and Pad Thai as my Main Course. Clearly I played it safe. 😂😂😂

From seating us to taking out drink and food orders, our waiter was super nice. He was professional, very educated on the menu offerings and kept a smile the entire time. Not to mention, we weren’t his only table yet he was on top of his game and provided top tier service.

Once my food came I was immediately drawn into the aroma. The Thai Spices mixed with the Sweet smells of the sauce made me extra happy inside. LoL.

Upon first bite I almost melted. Whew! I have NEVER in all my years had a Pad Thai this amazing. I’m talking about perfectly cooked noodles. Optimum noodle to meat to sauce ratio. And best of all, the peanuts were coated in the sauce and not only acted as the extra layer of texture, but their flavor profile was enhanced which allowed the dish to have a multi-flavor blend of sweet, salty, and nutty. Omggggggg. I want moreeeeeeeeee.

The dish arrived hot and was very fresh. This wasn’t no quick boil or reheated dish, no. This was freshly made when I ordered it and whoever the chef was is amazing at their job.

Dear Chef, your ability to cook Pad Thai is beyond normal. Your supernatural flavor elevated dish was exciting, mouth pleasing, and has made me eager to return to EAV That & Sushi.

The food and drinks are so good. All food is fresh, full of flavor and made to order. The bartenders make the best drinks. My favorite server is Love. She is so nice and professional. This is my new favorite Thai spot. The Thai basil fried rice with shrimp & add salmon is my favorite. Coconut soup delicious as well. 10/10 highly recommend

I have eaten here twice, once Thai takeout and once ordering sushi in the restaurant. The Thai food was pretty expensive for the amount, but it was decent.
The sushi experience was not pleasant. The interior was dark, a little small, and incredibly loud. It was difficult to hear our server and the other side of the table. We ordered the sushi and sashimi combo, and there were only three types of fish. Salmon, Tuna, and 1 white fish. It seemed like they were out of most sushi options. The Tuna was frozen, and the salmon on the roll was discolored (the brown in the photo is not soy sauce). Really disappointing evening.

I celebrated my 52 Birthday a few weeks ago, it was Perfect! Hector took very care of my Birthday group. Margaritas, food, cocktails, music,I RSVP the private room attached to the dining area with outside bar, private music system attached your play list... We were able to see the other establishments and activities. Check it out

This restaurant is an amazing vibe. The bar area is relaxed yet vibrant. The food is always hot and flavorful. The vibe allows you to bring your family and maybe a date. The sushi is amazing. The servers are full of personality. I love their curry dishes. Their margaritas are amazing and they're catfish dish, a separate area that could probably be rented out for a small party which opens to the outside. You must try EAV Thai and sushi!

One of my Fav Thai restaurants!

I was on the way to southern feed when I randomly decided to detour for Asian cuisine. We arrive here ( sn: we frequent this place probably twice a month) The nice manager asks us if we knew what we wanted. Of course. We order our usual to go and a drink for here. The manager explains that to get the drink special our food has to be for here as well. This makes absolutely 0 sense. Since we decided to buy food to go, we’re excluded from a menu otherwise available for people that aren’t spending money on food??? You can buy fried rice and sushi anywhere. How can an establishment expect to make money if they only allow drink specials to those that dine in? The policy doesn’t state YOU MUST BUY FOOD to get the special. So if I came here to spend 15 bucks on 2 drinks and later decided to dine elsewhere the business is at a loss. If one decides to buy drinks at the bar, close out and later decide they want fried rice to go, are you slapping an up-charge to their bill? Several question go unanswered. The manager on duty was extremely nice and polite while not being equipped to explain a policy that clearly wasn’t critically examined and it is extremely embarrassing to expect a leader to provide an explanation to a policy that doesn’t have any forethought. Tricky policies like this are counterproductive and in turn create adverse effects. We still bought our drink, got it To-go. Will not be back.

And if I do, I’ll Uber eats or order online for pick up. While I wait, I’ll order drinks at the bar for the special pricing :)

Absolute GEM!!!!

Very disappointing delivery experience. I wanted a special treat so got the "big boat dinner" and it was fewer pieces than menu said and the tinies pieces of sashimi I have ever seen. Some literally looked like a single piece of sashimi cut into three pieces. Poorly packaged. No sauces or chopsticks despite asking for utensils. I also assumed it would come with soup and/or salad like most places, but it did not. Definitely never eating here again. Many better places in atlanta.

A huge thumbs up for this restaurant. I went with some sceptism about my friend's boast that it served amazing Thai food. Pleased to say that he was spot on and if you're ever in Atlanta this is a must visit to eat. Five stars all round

I came into the restaurant later in the day on Sunday and it was very busy, my server was Michelle, who was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Somewhat understandably as it was busy, my meal took longer than expected. Michelle made sure to communicate that the kitchen was running a little slower than normal this evening. The Pad Thai I ordered was great and would recommend. Mostly a great experience due to my server Michelle's friendly, attentive and professional service.

The broccoli was brownish green, not bright green or fresh looking. The noodles were stale and the flavor was not there.

We ordered from here theough delivery and when our order arrived $80 dollars worth of sushi was missing, half of our order. We called the restaurant and were told “sorry we forgot to give the driver the rest of your order, you’ll have to come get it if you want it.” After we've waited over an hour for the food. When we went to pick up the food, we were missing more of the order from the box, no utensils and soy sauce and I know that’s minor but to me the service could have been made up with just making sure the order is correct. We will not be ordering again ever.

Got the sushi roll combo on the lunch menus. Less than $16 with a lot of rolls. Very good, and enjoyed the atmosphere of the entire restaurant.

My daughter came to work with me today and i took her here for lunch. She ordered a California roll and sushi. I got a spicy tuna roll and we shared pork fried rice. It was all fresh and amazing. The spicy tuna was on point! I recommend this place to anyone. They have great lunch specials. Great vibe and the waiter was great!

I absolutely loved the prices of this place. They’re very reasonably priced. The food was tasty and the servers were very kind and helpful. Loved their cocktail and beer selection! It was very loud in there so hard to have conversations but other than that, I recommend this place!

Bartenders and Host have attitudes, not very welcoming. The servers are nice though. Food is great, but employees should be nice if they want business and tips. I work in the service industry, so I know about customer service.

I frequent this place sometimes and I always love it food and drinks are great. I went last night 6-1-24 and sat at the bar. It was the regular bartender the one with the beard. He was working with a girl. My nephew who accompanied me was with me and some regulars. The whole 1 hour of being there I felt like he was literally yelling at her and felt like to me he was going to hit her! I don’t care what’s going on in the back of the kitchen but don’t ever display this in front of the customer. I had a lot of respect just by seeing him there all the time but not anymore. I believe his name is essa but not sure. I had to leave because it through my whole vibe off. Disappointed with him not the place. Kiddos to the young lady that just kept on smiling. Poor disgusting

4.5/5 but I am happy to round up. Service was great and prompt. The three rolls we ordered were all very good and tasted fresh. I wouldn’t say that anything was mind blowing, but everything ordered was really solid and worth getting again. The “I hate you” roll has a very nice crunch to it. The margarita, as others have said, is surprisingly good. It was a little tart, but in a good way and didn’t have any syrupy taste. Will definitely come back again.

Seat yourself when you come in. Great food and good drinks. Can be a little slow on service but if you patiently wait, you will have another hideaway spot.

I have been to this establishment before because my husband loves the Thai chili wings appetizer. Sometimes I get good dishes sometimes not, unfortunately last night was a not. I ordered the coconut shrimp soup(1 of my favorites) but the ingredients were different this time and the taste was off putting.

I’ve Been Catfished By the Catfish!! Poor Customer Service!! Fake Catfish!! They Are Serving Swai in place of the real catfish! I ordered catfish and received - fish mush with fried skin. The Pananag is watered down not tasty.. the sushi is nothing to rave about. It’s very shocking ppl can’t tell the difference in taste of Swai fish and Catfish. Hopefully, this review will get them to do right by the patrons .

I found this place one evening and decided to give it a try ( about 9pm on a Saturday) the restaurant was crowded, which seemingly was a good thing. After being seated almost immediately. We got our server Lilly who was absolutely horrible! After literally 12 minutes of waiting I stopped another server to get water /place settings. Lilly finally came over to take the initial drink and appetizer order. A Manhatten and the spring rolls. After another 12-15 minutes the spring rolls came out before the drinks.
Lilly came over to the table and I re-ordered the drinks and ordered the meal ( the spicy redfish). Another 5-10 minutes went by and I asked another employee for the manager. He immediately apologized and offered a couple shots for the inconvenience.
Unfortunately the service from Lilly didn't get any better. The food was brought out by another employee and after Finnishing the meal Lilly came over to ask about a to-go box. I told her to take the drinks off of the check. She told me "he's making the now" I told her that it should never takes an hour and half to make 2 drinks. The only thing you brought and immediately followed up on was the check.
The food itself was a little on the bland side and needed season badly. I probably will not give the a second chance... what a shame because the place had a good atmosphere..

The rolls were great. Food took forever to come out and they had no gluten free soy sauce which seems unheard of in 2023. They seem like an old school sushi joint. Was packed so assuming it's a local favorite. I'd probably be down if it had some stuff labeled gluten free

Went here tonight for the very first time with my college friend. Great customer service and didn't wait to long for the food to arrive. Had tried the crunchy tuna and salmon rolls. It was my first time ever having sushi 🍣. And also got the fried rice.

Had an amazing experience at East Atlanta Thai and sushi this week with my family. Our waitress Love was absolutely incredible and had some of the best customer service I have experienced in a while. She made sure we well taken care of and remained patient even with our picky eaters. The food was okay, I recommend getting spicy basil fried rice for more flavor. The Thai tea is amazing though. I will definitely be back.

Walked into this restaurant. The young lady waiting on me was wonderful. She lead me to the take out area at the in of the bar. On my god. This gentlemen in the picture at the bar is rude. He was more worried about getting in the girl at the bar pants, than doing his job. He was all in her face but when I went to place my order. He shouted across the bar. 6 feet away. How rude can you get. Maybe he worked atlas mechanic underneath a car where he talks to you. His customer service will lead you right the door. Oh is name is Isa

I really like the location of this restaurant but that's about it. We ordered the calamari for our appetizer. The calamari was NOT good at all. They were extremely rubbery and unseasoned, almost like they were frozen and just poured into hot grease.
Three of us ordered dinner but they only brought food for 2 of us. The waitress "forgot" to put in the last order. Two of us order the Basil Fried Rice with a medium spicy level. Unfortunately they were both very bland and also lacked spice. Although my family loves Thai food, we will not visit this restaurant again.

Went a few weeks ago and Diego was a pleasure and a great server. Customer service was great! Definitely would recommend to a friend!

Had the drunken noodles and the spring rolls- both were good, but the spring rolls were surprisingly good. The frozen marg was ok, a little syrupy for my taste but I'm picky. No salted rim- nothing special. The portion for the drunken noodles was quite large and I split it with someone. It was a nice atmosphere as far as ambience, but it was LOUD. We went on a Saturday night, so it might be different other days. The server was polite but nothing further.
Smelled like someone was smoking weed nearby- didn't bother us- I mean it's EAV, but something yo be aware of if you're sensitive.

I love love this place it's fun, a sexy, intimate... Whatever you want to make it! I've been going here for years food, drinks ,staff always on point! 💙💃🏾🤗

Great atmosphere but that is about it. Pad Thai tastes heavily of BBQ sauce. Basil Thai rice was way over cooked, very mushy rice. Ordered a drink that never came. Waiter kept saying it was coming so it was not forgotten just not prioritized. Would no go back.

Had a great dining experience. I got the Teriyaki Sirloin with vegetables. The food was a great portion size and very tasty. 10/10 recommend.

My server was HORRIBLE. Not only did I repeat my order 3 times to her, but she still got it wrong. Then, she got an attitude cause she wasn't listening. My cousin did not receive all her food either. But she then told her oh the kitchen forgot, so I took it off your ticket. My cousin replied but I would like to have my food. To top it all off, she confused other guest cards with ours and charged them all incorrectly.The foodod was not good. I have been here several times and never experienced anything like this.

Service was bad and very unpleasant waitress doesn't know how to act and doesn't care about customers. Will never come back and hope they get a better staff that cares about their customers. The place is pretty and food was good.

Love this place! Been going here since 2009 and have seen it go through changes but overall it has remained true to the cuisine. The I Hate You/Yummi Yummi roll was the first roll I EVER tried and fell in love with it. STRONG margs as well! If you can, go for the sushi specials on Mon/Tues, it won’t disappoint!

Food was not great or even good really. Sushi rolls were chewy and very small. For the price there are much better places to get sushi. Pad Thai was soupy and really sweet. Service person was really sweet and attentive when she was at our table but also very busy and at times we were waiting to catch her. Atmosphere was decent but it was really loud. The music was really loud and the acoustics were not good for conversation.

Love how fresh and light the sushi was. Friendly atmosphere even if he was the only guy working the dining room, expert skills! I know where to go for sushi next time I'm in eav 👍🏾

I’m so sorry to say but the food was really awful. Now we did get takeout, so I’m aware of the ramifications. However, the pad Thai was atrocious. It had no flavor and was missing all the flavors that pad Thai is supposed to have. Tamarind, fish sauce, palm sugar etc.. it was like way low budget.
The sushi was not fresh and really lacking in imagination. One of them was super dry and was filled with dry tempura flakes with no sauce.. horrible.
We also got calamari which were the size of onion rings. Super soggy.
Nothing redeemable this time unfortunately.

A pretty good place for lunch. It's more expensive and bustling at dinner time. Overall, this place is a solid 4. Nothing distinguishing, but not bad either.

The food is soooooo good! Best Pad Thai I’ve had in a while. The drinks are strong and delicious. Be patient with your server it appears they handle the whole restaurant alone but even with him being busy I still felt we got good service for a busy Saturday night!

How dare you close for lunch I needed my sushi fix 🤨 see you at 5pm. I went to The Earl for nice drink while I wait.

What happened to our favorite Thai food place?! Nosedive in food quality, service. This hurts. 1/4 filled container of red curry, looked like some of it was actually removed, barely seasoned clump of noodles….

Awesome drinks

Had an amazing time and loved the atmosphere and food! It was a bit small and very busy. The customer service was good but not enough staff!! It was super busy but our bridal party enjoyed our meet and greet lunch! One of my daughter's favorite spots!

Best sushi and best experience

Now this restaurant is a favorite of mine. The drinks are a must and the food is wonderful. HOWEVER, the close for a couple hours of the middle of the day is devastating especially when you’re not aware of this! And the wait staff can be extremely slow. But it’s one of the those things you know and just put up with.

Everyone is great here! Friendly, and chill with great food and drinks.

Ambiance was nice, it’s a small restaurant. Great wait staff and short wait time for a table. The sushi was really really good. The meal I got wasn’t seasoned at all had not a bit of spice. I’m sorry I can’t remember what the name of the dish was. It had shrimp mussels scallops and calamari along with peppers and rice was on the side. I would go back for the sushi but idk about any other meal.

Looking for the best frozen margarita in Atl it’s here ;) . Try the strawberry mango frozen marg. Thank me later.

The best basil stir fried rice!!!

Been to this spot many many times and it has really gone downhill. The service is very poor and the food is way overpriced. We waited about an hour or so for our food, which was just two rolls and edamame. Our server rang in mine and my friends tickets incorrectly and literally walked away while we were in the middle of telling him the checks were wrong. Probably won’t be returning.

Service was slow and the food was just ok. Ordered the basil chicken and coconut soup. Prices are extremely high for what you get. $40 per person seems ridiculous.

Just had a very good meal for pretty fair prices.
Initial service took a few minutes, but food came out quickly once ordered and everything was well prepared and tasty.
I recommend and would go back again.

Sushi and other Thai/Asian food was excellent. Sushi came right away. Other food took a long time. We were offered free drinks and an appetizer to make up for the wait. Aside from the slowness of the kitchen, service was wonderful.

All I had was the sushi. The sushi was JUST OK... it's Sushi for people that don't know great sushi. Also overpriced.

The worst Thai food I have ever eaten.

If i could give a lower rating, I would. We went there last night (Monday 1/9). After we seated ourselves, a server dropped off two menus and glasses of water, without any greeting whatsoever, and promptly exited the restaurant with the other server. We waited several minutes, but she did not return, and we decided that maybe this wasn't the place for us. When we left, we saw the two servers walking up the street carrying takeout bags from another restaurant. So basically, rather than even greeting us and/or taking a drink or appetizer order, both servers left the building while we waited. We went across the street to Argosy and had a great meal and wonderful service. Needless to say, we will not be back to EAV Thai and Sushi.

Nice, casual spot in East Atlanta. I’ve had the pleasure of visiting twice- once for lunch and once for dinner. The first time I tried the pad Thai with shrimp and it was tasty. The second time I tried massaman curry with shrimp and brown rice. The curry was pretty good but a little on the sweet side. It also had green peas which was different. One of my friends tried their sushi and said it was good as well. The drinks are always good and the staff is always friendly.

Specials were good. Vegetable rolls were really good and so was the misou soup. Wine bottles were only $13.🥂❤It was very loud cause it was a large group.

Red curry with pork to die for and I Love the Guy Bartenders the coolest!

The food is great but service tends to be pretty slow.

My partner and I love this place! The seaweed salad, bagel roll and the curries. The bartender is really nice as well!!
