The curry is spicy and perfectly balanced with a delicate sweetness that isn't overpowering. The noodles were perfect. I will probably go with a 4 next time as the 3 didn't give enough kick. I definitely recommend this local business.

Very authentic! The food is delicious and a generous portion. Sai-ua (sausage) comes with sticky rice, chili paste, and steamed veggies. Yummy!

He told me that he has to down size since the pandemic-- only him and his wife run the restaurant, so they don't have to hire a server and a dishwasher serving this way. It works for me eating from the box at a table there, and take the rest home. There are about 4 tables there for dining, which is sufficient.

I found this place on Google probably 5 yrs ago. I try to eat here anytime I come to OKC. The staff and owner are friendly and the food is delicious! We come for the yum but everything we have tried was amazing. Support this wonderful local business and try some of they great loatian dishes.

2 stars for service and a low 3 stars for the food. The owner isn't friendly. Their internet was down and they couldn't take card payments. Only AFTER digging up the cash and taking it to the register, did I see the sign that they would take card info and run it later. Another indication of the poor table service and lack of communication. We had the egg rolls, beef larb, and Lao sausages (Sai ua). The beef larb was okay, a little better than OKC average. It could have been mixed better and longer for more flavor penetration. The Lao sausages were almost bland and too dry. The sticky rice was excellent though. The thing that will prevent us from returning to try other dishes is the poor table service.

Quaint place to eat my first time visiting and it was great!

Delicious food. We got the pad khee mao and the spring rolls and loved both of them. The spice level was just right and the peanut sauce was crazy good. The owner was super nice and happy to explain anything on the menu.
They’re having trouble with finding servers apparently, but they’re making it work by giving you food in to-go boxes and having you just throw jt away at the end.

The couple who run this restaurant are wonderful! My husband and I recently moved from OKC to Florida, and we still talk about their food and get it when we are in town. The food is by far the best Thai we've ever had. This place is OKC's hidden gem. The portions are big, the food is always fresh and piping hot, and the service is warm and friendly. If you haven't been, you're missing out.

We had egg rolls and spring rolls. The pad thai, red and green curry. This was the best Thai food I have had in over a year. Will be back....Back for the second time and the green curry and pad thai were even better--if that is possible this time. We are sorry to see the dining room is closing--take out only in a few weeks. It is good enough to come back and eat in my truck--Back again on 4-17-24 --food is as good as ever

Fried fillet fish topping with pan fried garlic, tomatoes, bell pepper, onion, basil leaves, cilantro and green onion served with rice. This was super delicious! Highly recommend! You can get the spice level you want from 1 to 5. I got # 3, and it was very spicy (which I like). The shrimp spring rolls with the peanut sauce is super yummy! The papaya salad is really good. The panang curry is so good. This is a laid back small restaurant. The cook is an expert preparing Laotian & Thai foods.

Absolutely the best Thai food I’ve ever had or equal to the best. If you’re passing through Oklahoma on the 40 I couldn’t recommend this more. Only 10 minutes or so off the freeway. What a treat during a long road trip. Incredible takeout. I will crave it forever. Thank you truly!

The place is nice and so are the people there. I ordered non-spicy massaman curry and Thai tea, which were both very good. The tea was rich and sweet, and the curry tasted very good and was not spicy like I asked. I hate to give it any less than 5 stars, but the curry was super oily and gave me congestion, so I couldn't finish it. The beef was quite cheap as well, better luck getting chicken or tofu I suppose. For $18 it was alright, I would definitely try this place again!

Four J’s has the best spicy fried rice hands down! I always come to this place and the quality of the food never changes! They are fast, friendly and delicious! I always get spicy friend rice spice level 3 and it’s always top notch!

I went here several times, a very surprising spot with utterly delectable food and many different dishes to choose from. Their fried chicken wings are especially delicious, and though there are several dishes ONLY available on the weekend they do have a sizeable selection for their primary menu, including the fried rice and panang curry which has always been wonderfully made.

Though they do have limited seating and restricted in-restaurant seating, to my knowledge, that can be expected from this small business. As a partially isolated area of south OKC, these proprietors never disappoint with the timeliness of their service and quality of food.

First time trying this place. I picked this restaurant because I was craving tofu pad thia and the reviews rave about it over other restaurants. An they weren't kidding it was so tasty and the flavor was spot on. I ordered it at a level 2 heat (recommended) which was a perfect for my heat tolerance along with an order of spring rolls. All was made to order. I wish I would have gotten a picture but after the first bite the fork wasnt put down till I was full. With plenty left to take togo it was just as delightful for my dinner as well. I look forward to trying more items on the menu in the near future.

This a hole in a wall place that foodies dream of. The first bite of literally made me say wow. I haven't written a review in a long time but absolutely had to after the amazing meal I had here tonight. We had the #17 "Yum' and #8 "Pla Lard Prik" at the owners suggestion for authentic dishes and it was perfection. Can't wait to come back and try more!

Great Thai food

We tried the pad thai and the egg rolls and both of them were exceptional. Quality is at a very high standard at this place, you cannot really go wrong with their menu. The drinks were good and affordable, so we will be back to check out more items from the menu for sure.

Traveling through OKC and searched for Thai. We found 4Js and WOW. The gentleman who took my order and lady who made it and handed it off to me were very welcoming and kind.
The food, seriously delicious! We had the veggie Pad Thai rice. It was just what we were looking for after eating out for a couple days while traveling cross country.

I love good fresh spring rolls. These are the most flavorful I’ve had in a long time! I always get vegetable rolls. They are loaded with herbs and vegetables not just the cheap bagged iceberg lettuce mix like some places. This is my new favorite place!

Absolutely outstanding beef “Pad Kheemao” and great friendly service at the window. Noodles are flavorful and perfectly cooked. Currently you can eat on site at the tables provided but there is no table service. Very highly recommend!

Shh, don't tell anyone for fear that they'll get too crowded. They are amazing though! Accurate orders, authentic food, hot and delicious. They are serious about spice, so don't mess around. No real dine in option, but still super hot when it gets home. Love the basil fried rice and spring rolls. Kids loved the chicken satay (not spicy).

I visited this establishment with my boyfriend who is a big fan of Thai foods. This was my first time having Lao/Thai food and I’m incredibly satisfied with it. Granted, he had more of a glowing review as he said it’s hard to find good Thai food in Oklahoma. Regardless of it being my first time, I was throughly happy with my selection!! Definitely worth all the five star reviews they have!

Best authentic Lao-Thai food in Oklahoma City!
We had egg rolls, papaya salad, seafood panang curry, chicken phad kee mao, sausages, sticky rice and spicy dipping sauce. Every dish had the perfect blend of spice. You’ve got to try it!

Tried this place tonight and really liked it. I got the Weeping Tiger, I got medium but if I get it again I will get it rare. My wife got the Panang Curry with shrimp. Both were very good. Will definitely come back here. Prices are great as well. Oh! Got a chicken spring roll which was excellent! If you want some good Thai, give this place a try. It is take out only.

Nice, family owned place. This was my first experience with Laotian food and it did not disappoint. The woman taking our order was very kind and helpful. She helped us decide on the best option for us and our first experience. My only complaint was that it was a little warm inside. Otherwise, I was very happy!

I moved to OKC about two months ago and have been looking for a Thai spot. During this time, I have tried 6 other restaurants and I can tell you that Four J’s is by far the best. I ordered the Green Chicken Curry and it was amazing. The service had a real family feel to it and the presentation of the food was great too. They’re moving to a carry out only, which regardless, I will be back.

Ordered chicken satay, papaya salad, stir fried basil with chicken and the massaman curry with chicken. Everything was delicious. I gave 4 stars because the chicken in stir fried basil and massaman curry was over cooked, dried and rubbery.
They won’t have the dine-in option starting October 20-something (sorry can’t remember) in 2021.

A total gem discovered! Amazing food and service. This mom and pop restaurant (literally, she cooks and he waits on tables) had probably the best Pad Thai I have had. One of the family members has celiac and they knew what was exactly available for them to have. Will come back.

I especially love Green Curry so being able to get it at 10 bucks is a blessing. I can't handle Spicy very well so I appreciate their accommodation to my cat tongue, though I am willing to take the heat a little for their chicken.

Sometimes I wish it was a bigger place so I could have more friends there but that "personal" charm is also nice when I want to hang out with close friends.

4J's is in my "Let's go here!" list for good food, good conversations, great service, and awesome prices. I'll be back again, whether it's to show my out of town friend good-eats or just to eat for myself.

We came for lunch, and it was delicious! I'm Laotion and this place reminds me of home cooked meals. The thai tea was good & sweet. The eggrolls and spring rolls with their sauces were both yummy. The fried rice had so much flavor and the Weeping Tiger was BOMB! I will definitely be coming back to this place. I ordered the spice level 5 because I love spicy foods and it was just right.
