I got the red curry medium spicy it was better than the Pad Thai but not much flavor still and hardly any spice. Also their website pricing is not accurate I guess. The bill was about 40% more than it should have been based on the website menu with prices but they didn’t give an itemized receipt so idk why.

I have heard a few mixed reviews about this place, but my wife wanted to try it so here I go with my take on Thai Orchid Cafe. The restaurant is very neat and fresh looking. Its a small place but still a comfortable size that your not sitting on top of each other.
the food was just ok to me, but my wife loved it. we had the spicy steak skewers, i thought that was good. it came with some very good dipping sauces. The one dish we both didnt like at all, was the fish cakes. I do not understand what part was fish. all we tasted was rubbery half dollar coin sized disc. the last dish we had was the Pad see ew, this is my favorite dish, but not from this place. the sauce was a bit to strong and the dish seriously was short on noodles. would i come back, maybe if the wife ask to come.

As of 4/23/18 I have come back for their lunch special. I strongly encourage you to do the same. For $7.95 you can't go wrong.

I have a lot of food allergies that often make it difficult for me to eat out. Thai Orchid Cafe was wonderful with taking the time to ask additional questions to clarify what I can and can’t eat. You can also tell that their ingredients are very fresh and was overall super delicious!!

This is a VERY reliable place to get tasty takeout thai/vietnamese food for lunch.
I call ahead and they always have my order ready(and accurate) in about 15 minutes.

I have gotten the panang curry, red curry, and others. Also vieynamese hot and sour soup, pot stickers, spring rolls, etc. All have been delicious.

Service counter is always very friendly. Highly recommended.

Tom yum was tom terrible. Fish sauce and mushrooms with tofu... That was it. Not a single vegetable and it was terribly sweet.

Bang for buck!! I found this place a few months ago while starving and in the area. When I first went I tried the pad kee mao — since then, I keep going back — making that 25 minute drive for takeout.

The food while delicious is considerably healthy. They seems family owned and operated and are actually Thai. Sizzling beef chef special is fantastic. I also love the drunken noodles and khao soi.

The best Thai food in and out of area, our favorite is pineapple seafood curry with a side of spring rolls and thai iced tea. We have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. The owner and staff are also always lovely. Very sweet and welcoming.

The food is seriously delicious but we couldn't get it done today. We weren't able to make an office order, several on one card with one order as a separate payment over the phone. We ended up taking our business elsewhere because we couldn't pay by phone. Its never been a problem before and we've had no issues in the past so hopefully, they will review and resolve the policy for the future. We were told we couldn't even call in a separate order for someone to pick up the two orders together. Disappointed.

Very average Thai food. Anyone who says this place is great clearly does not have good taste in Thai food or has never had great Thai food before. The duck was disgusting. Best Thai food in western New York by far. Red curry with tofu is the best! I have tried about 5 other Thai places in the area but they don’t even come close. I drive one hour round trip each week to get my curry fix.

Coming from the Las Vegas area with high quality Thai food I have struggled to find a truly authentic Thai restaurant. I strongly suggest this location in comparison to its competitors.

Really delicious and fresh. I have ordered take out too many times to remember. Very pleasant staff and very nice dining room. While I don’t live in the area every time I’m going through for work I make sure I bring lunch or dinner home with me. Love these guys!

AMAZING Pad Thai

We have been trying to support our local restaurants during the pandemic, and we consistently find ourselves returning to this one for our culinary needs. There’s an authenticity to their food that’s missing in so many other ethnic restaurants in the area. This, along with the consistent freshness and quality of their ingredients makes this establishment, possibly the only Thai restaurant we shall be patrons of moving forward.
Finally, and possibly, most importantly. The owner of Thai Orchid Café is hands-down the nicest person alive. He’s so humble and clearly cares passionately about every customer that walks through the door. He shares very little with so many of the arrogant, indifferent restaurateurs I’ve met over the years.

Hands down the best Thai in Buffalo. The food is amazing and the staff is even better. Typically when I try other Thai places the food taste fishy, but no hint of fish here! Seriously if you haven’t been to Thai Orchid go immediately you will not be disappointed. I’ve been a million times and the food is always on point... but my favorite part is the family atmosphere the staff displays. They have the nicest, sweetest, friendly’s people working their and I always have a 5 star experience.

$7.95 lunch special. I always order the vermicelli with shrimp. This simple noodle salad combines romaine lettuce, fresh herbs, rice vermicelli, cucumber, bean sprouts, and peanuts, topped with grilled shrimp. Tossed with a tangy sweet and sour sauce, it's a simple and satisfying. I've also tried the iced tea and iced coffee which is very good, but it is on the sweet side.

Best Thai food in WNY hands down

I visited Thailand earlier this year and Thai Orchid is as close as it gets to authentic Thai cuisine! I definitely recommend ordering a pot of ginger tea to start and the sticky rice with custard for dessert. Also, this restaurant doesn’t mess around with the heat - one of the few places that actually serves spicy food! Pro tip: ask for the spicy tray and they’ll bring out three different options to add additional heat to your meal.

Service is always phenomenal. You can tell that the staff is working extremely hard and genuinely cares about providing a great experience.

Thai food is usually good and Thai orchid cafe does a great job representing it. Their vegetable roles for appetizers are simple yet splendid with the peanut sauce. Some of the best entrees include Thai basil fried rice, coconut shrimp, pad Thai etc. One dish that blew my mind and exceptionally made is pad kee mow. It's made of rice noodles and fresh veggies. Try this order if you are looking for a change. This place is usually busy and is better to reserve beforehand. The staff here offers excellent assistance as well as service. They maintain the place quite well and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves Thai food or anyone who wants to try Thai food.

Good food, nice service. They're super fast too, so if you want to go for a sit down meal on a lunch break, you can be in and out in under an hour. I took my mom out on her lunch break and we were in and out in under 45min. I never felt rushed and the food was good. It has a pretty limited menu, but it's probably so they can do lunch hour meals faster.

This restaurant is nice. The setting is also awesome. We had gone there for dinner on weekday and it was still packed! That’s how good it is. Their service is great. The food is fairly healthy and tasty, what else do we need? I love their Pad Kee Mao! It is amazing 😃

Lunch menu is varied and has a number of gluten free items. I requested the curry I ordered mild and it was. Often when you request mild spice at a restaurant they think you mean you want it so it doesn't obliterate your taste buds. Not here. You get what you order. Portion was generous and came with soup, egg roll or spring roll. Prices were reasonable and service was good.

The Pad Thai was tasty, a reasonable helping so I was satisfied but not overfull, and there were very delicious vegetarian appetizers (tempura, spring rolls). Service was quick during the busy dinner hour. Didn't break the bank, either. Looking forward to going back!

Great place for a date or family night out. I've been here many times with my wife and family. Food is always tasty and delicious, and the staff is friendly.

Luckily enough we stopped here for food because it was the closest restaurant to us on our drive home. Don't let the plaza type location fool you, this place has some fresh and yummy food with good service. Tried the ginger tea which was also excellent. If we didn't live out of town, I'd frequent this restaurant often!
