AMAZING. I got level hot because I like it more than just a little spicy. I haven't had food from here in a couple years but it's just as good as the last time . Visiting from out of town and 100% will always go back. And honestly, that's even with slightly over-cooked/fried tofu. Flavors are 10/10. Veggies,rice, and sauce alone are amazing and give so much umami flavor.

When you walk in,there are stunning art work everywhere. I placed a order and was shocked to my supprise there was more food than expected. You really get your money worth. The food was good and hot. The wait was fast and the staff is pleasant. Take out or dine in , I will be back.

Per the rave reviews I drove an extra 15 minutes out of the way to try it out. I was really hoping to like this place, but it's a never again for me. Please trust the bad reviews, bcuz it was just that. BAD. The rice was hard, undercooked and had no flavor, just overly colored. The pad Thai was 'ok', but the chicken in both dishes was really dry and tasteless as well. No joke. Try it for yourself if you must.
I'm guessing the ones who say it's full of flavor must have the munchies. 🤷‍♀️

For dine in they served in disposable box. The yellow curry was already mixed with rice at serving( which is typically not the case)..lol

We stopped here since some other places decided to close and had a taste for asian food. I ordered a vegetable curry dish which was listed under vegetables and assumed this would be vegetarian.. it had fish flakes in it!
We asked about getting our money back and we refused. Now I became sick and hungry since I couldn’t eat this meal and staff didnt offer to replace it.
Before I knew that the fish flakes were in it, I noticed the curry was very watery. I hd tried to look past that and try anyways.
We also ordered some spring rolls and they were fine- they had vermicelli vs a cabbage dominant mix.
I wish we were at least offered another meal since this was false advertising and could really harm t with shellfish and seafood allergies

Nice little Asian restaurant with a clean cozy atmosphere with counter ordering.
They also have a drive up window.
They offer a good menu selection with reasonable prices. Pretty quick service.
However the food itself is ok, but to me nothing special or outstanding. Personally it's just a matter of taste and maybe what I'm not used to. For me, I've had much better. But also I've had much worse.
Located in a good area with ample free parking.

Food and service has gone downhill so much in the last few months. Chicken is dry and soups is water no flavor at all. Rice is overcooked mush.

This used to be our go to spot for authentic Thai food. They have struggled of the last several years with when the most basic dishes. Very little to no seasoning, excessively greasy fried rice, dishes that should have Thai or Holy basil you may find 2 or 3l eaves in the entire dish. I have given them a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th chance. No more. Done forever.

I came in town all the way from new york to kalahari we came here and googled this place but never read the reviews I actually waited until 4pm for them to open and ordered shimp fried rice , garlic chicken and sesame chicken now In all honestly the shimp fried rice was awsome reminded me of old school Chinese rice from ny but the garlic chicken and sesame chicken was horrible sesame chicken was not crispy and fresh it was runny the chicken drowned in the sauce and old the garlic chicken was tough also tasted like they boiled and overcooked the chicken and it tasted old and tough to bite into ended up tasting a piece and throwing it all out in the garbage unfortunately I would not recommend the choices of meat i wished i would have read the reviews as it states the same exact experience i had you are better off going and trying another place u may have better luck than me will never go back!!

In the past I would always look forward to making the drive to have lunch or dinner here. However the inconsistencies with the same dish I order is getting ridiculous. My last order barely had any sauce and no flavor. The order before was exact opposite and the order before mediocre. I’ve had a handful of times where it seems the sauce was forgotten with no flavor, order hot and Nodda. This is a bummer as I have also brought friends and family here and thankfully have had some good experiences but I worry that these inconsistencies seem to be occurring more and more. I hope this turns around soon... Looks like other customers are experiencing similar pain points.

I tried to give jo wok another shot after stopping going here a few years ago and AGAIN my order was wrong and there was TWO long strains of hair in my food that I had to pull out of my mouth. Absolutely disgusting. Don't eat here.

We went there for lunch on a Monday. The service was good. And we loved all their food especially the pad Thai and the seafood soup. The paintings in the room were beautiful.

We ordered take out for 6 people. It was ready on time and very reasonable. We did get shorted two egg rolls but there was plenty to eat. Everyone had enough left for another meal. Will order from there again.

Don't ever order Kung Pao chicken because these guys apparently have a new definition of what 'kung pao' means. I was served with the whitest chicken I have ever seen in my life, no hint of soy sauce can be traced on the chicken itself. It was like the cook decided to just make whatever they feel like making.

I’m sorry I love your food usually. I ordered seaweed salad And veg lomein . The salad had just a tiny bit of sea weed. Mostly cucumber. Which is ok. Just not how I like it. It’s fine I will order something else. But my veg Lo Mein I was watery with mushy noodles and tasteless sauce. I will turn around and order something else. I’m sorry to complain. Usually your food is the best!

Horrible customer service. The workers they have are rude. You better get it under control or you will go out of business from losing customers. The one lady there is a sweet heart but the one guy that works there, should not even have his job. If you don't like your job than why be there? That's unacceptable. So it needs to get figured out or it will be going higher up! And I'm sure a lot of people will stand up on how horrible the people are. And you will be shut down.

I work local and just ordered General Tso's chicken and it was the worst I've ever had in my life! The chicken was as tough as overcooked steak and tasted freezer burnt . I will never get food from here again. And also do not recommend it to anyone.

Our family of three just tried this wonderful restaurant while taking a break from CP. The food and prices were incredible. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai with medium spice level. In my opinion it wasn't spicy at all but that was on me. If you like spicy, order "Hot." I could have asked for hot sauce but they were in a middle of a lunch/dinner rush so I didn't want to disturb them. The food was still great!

I had green curry, see photo. The flavor was ok but the green peppers were virtually raw and the chicken was unflavorful and dry. The sauce was poured directly over the rice at the restaurant, so all of the curry flavor got soaked up, making it quite mushy.
The artwork at the restaurant was very nice though!

Been going here for years, and will continue to do so. I LOVE their food, but if I have any complaints, it's don't go there for lunch. After several times lately, the food isn't as good and the portions are significantly smaller. Disappointing, but I'll stick to dinner time orders from now on...

After only finding horrible Chinese food in this region, Jo Wok was an extremely pleasant surprise. Not just good for the area, but all around good regardless of where your from.

Awesome place. Tasty food. Cozy and Pleasant interiors. They have a lot of nice paintings.

Food is delicious, but this place is a scam. They won't give you a total over the phone, and then overcharge when you arrive to pickup your food. When I recreated our order through DoorDash (who adds fees and has higher item cost than the restaurants on their platform) our order was $8 cheaper than what we paid when we picked up.

The prices on the menu are not what you will be charged.

We used to eat here quite often, but won't be returning after they ripped us off.

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! Sadly, I waited several years to try the food here, but let me tell you they have the best Thai food I have found in Ohio since moving here from the Washington, DC area. Surprisingly, the food here is actually better than most Thai restaurants in the DC area. The chef knows how to intermingle spices and flavors like no other in Sandusky or the surrounding areas. I also really enjoy the local art that is for sale in the dining area, it's a nice touch. I was a bit surprised that the meat was not velveted as I am a fan of that style, but the portions of meat are very generous in their dishes. Thank you Jo Wok for bringing quality Thai food back into my life!

Came here on Monday on our way home from Cedar Point. Prices are reasonable, $13 for duck curry is quite good IMO. It was really good too! The flavor of the curry sauce is so good, and the duck is cooked perfectly! You get a big portion too!

Customer service is great too. My friend ordered three iced coffees but they only had the supplies to make one. The cashier walked up to us even though we were at the table to apologize and refunded.

Not the kinda place that you'd hunt down but the food is well worth a visit. The location is small and there's not a lot of seating so large parties will be hard to accommodate.I really recommend it though.

The General tso chicken was not what I expected and wish i would’ve just saved my money. Chicken pieces were Huge and had a funny texture to it which made my stomach turn. Maybe it’s best just to get the fried rice or not order at all.

The food: fire. The inside: Super cute. Nice staff and a drive through. Also theres painting on the wall that are for sale and they are also super pretty. If you are calling to place an order i would call a few times because they don’t always pick up the first time.
