Great local find! We had a great first experience here getting lunch on the weekend. The service was excellent, the server was very knowledgeable and able to give recommendations (we were new to trying Thai food so that was very helpful). We had the chicken satay appetizer, green curry with jasmine rice (my favorite), drunken noodles, and mango sticky rice for dessert. All were delicious and very generous portions at reasonable prices, we left full with leftovers for later. I wouldn't hesitate to come back again to try more or get take-out. Highly recommended!

I just moved into the area and haven't set up my kitchen yet so I found a local place to try that wasn't pizza.

The ambiance is lackluster half dead plants when you walk in and not a staff person in sight. All the tables are haphazardly placed with no thought to it.
I used the restroom while I waited for someone to help me with my to-go order and there was no toilet paper and no paper towels.
When someone finally came out you could tell it was just one guy who was serving all of the tables and all of the numerous to-go orders. With that said, he was in good spirits and was friendly and clearly doing his best.

I ordered the green curry with chicken and the spring rolls both were really good however the portion size were small.
The rice barley filled half of the container and the green curry had mostly vegetables.

Overall the quality of food seemed good but you could tell they just threw it together as fast as they could probably due to how busy they were. They really need to get some help!

You know when you taste authentic Thai Red Curry. You can not cheat the taste buds. Red curry is full of flavour with lemon grass sauce. My wife had Garlic Prawns. This dish is not my favourite but she liked it very much. There is nothing wrong with the Garlic Prawns, my taste buds always look for Red Curry taste when done in a Thai restaurant. Excellent place to have lunch or dinner. Don’t forget to taste the Clear Soup with tofu and vegetables.

I moved here from NYC and have been searching for a good Thai restaurant for at least 2 years. I found this place one night searching on Groupon for good deals in the area. I'm so glad I purchased the deal ($10 for $20 value). I came here with a friend and I was blown away from the quality of food and the price. They offer 1-3 spice levels for people who cant handle spice and 4+ for those who can. The Thai ice tea was also AMAZING! Our server was very friendly and made the whole experience even better. I would definitely come back again.

I clocked in and got to work on several problems that could have easily been solved by the leader that was already there but claimed ignorance. A claim all too easy to believe. Email brought no relief – the reports I submitted were missing information that wasn’t requested. I picked away at the essential duties of the day, and soon four hours had passed. I had had enough for one week, so I took the rest of the day off. It was 5pm. I knew I couldn’t get on 480 due to the daily demolition derby, so I took Rockside/Snow Road. I was hungry and I thought, “I haven’t been to Lotus Thai House in a while.” I always enjoy take out, so I made the turn on Broadview. Lots of cars in the lot, and a lot of full tables, which is always a good sign. There was no rush from the young gentleman who took my order. He offered a glass of water while I waited. Young man do not underestimate how impressive your actions were. I should have ordered a Bobba to go because they are always refreshing and delicious. My order was up quickly and was piping hot when I arrived home. I had an order of chicken pot stickers, fried. They were crispy on the outside, tender, savory, and juicy on the inside. An absolute treat to wake up the taste buds and jump start the digestive system. I was in the mood to try something new, so I ordered the Chicken Panang Curry, heat level six. Did I mention the spice scale? They can adjust the spice heat of your meal on a scale from one to ten. Genius. I’m slowly working my way up the scale. The curry was delicious, fresh tasting with a hint of lime citrus. The vegetables were tender with out being mushy. The chicken was tender and juicy. The sauce had a nice kick to it without covering up the flavors of the dish. I will order it again. Maybe not the next visit because there are so many other dishes to try, but I definitely recommend. If you’re looking at the menu and can’t decide, go with the Panang Curry. Compliments to the chef, your dish was the highlight of the week.

Great service. Server was attentive. Stopped by after a work hike at the Metroparks nearby. Get the Lotus Siam Rolls. I got the Drunken Noodles. So good!

It’s a roomy and clean dining space.

I have enjoyed the beef and vegetable pho I had been served while dining in 2 previous times, so I ordered some beef pho for takeout and was very disappointed. I ordered the large size on a friday afternoon to split with my young child and found that it had 3-4 small pieces of beef in squares and very few toppings included. Based on previous experiences ordering the normal size for dine in and having more than enough food, I found that this amount was unusual, especially when paying extra for the large size. Overall, I would not order pho to-go from this establishment again, but generally, I have had no complaints until recently with everything else I have ordered.

On another note, they made sure the food got out fast and were very accommodating when I brought my young restless child while dining in. It's typically not too busy in the dining room for lunch, which also makes it easier when dealing with young children.

Flavors sang in my bowl (actually, more like a vat!) of vegetarian pho. My hubby’s noodley chicken dish enticed him with its aroma and especially the brown sauce. But loveliest of all is the kind young man who served us. Definitely will be back!

Im obsessed with this place. Authentic, fresh, thai food made by grandma. Doesn’t get any better than that. I eat here so much i am planning to try everything on the menu & i have no complaints so far. My go is the shumai, beef pho, pad thai and red curry.

I hate to leave any bad reviews for a small business but the busier they are getting they are throwing together the to go orders and you get very little of anything but broth. They know their stuff I hope they don't keep on this trend. Had to use my whole carton of rice just to have enough of something to eat with all that broth.

Been going here for a year now. Basil fried rice is fantastic. Huge fan of this place an the service provided.

We had Crab Rangoon, Pineapple fired rice and Pad Thai. The food was very good. If you are looking for a Thai place i recommend coming here. The server shared stories about his Grandmother who cooks most of the food it was a wonderful experience. I will be coming back often.

Ordered the vegetarian pad Thai on a level 2 and there was no spice to it at all and it was very bland. They gave me tofu although I didn’t ask for it.

I was disappointed after finding this restaurant based on it's reviews. Food was honestly quite bland and didn't taste fresh at all. I had the pad kee mao and it had zero spice which was very odd for a dish that's supposed to be spicy. However, the service was great. Very friendly on the phone placing our order and picking up. May have to try again another time to see if we just had a bad night of food.

I wasnt going to leave review but unable to email owner - this is second time ive had an issue- ordered 3 bowls of coconut veg soup ( which is absolutely delishes ) however none of the soups had the noodles or tofu that come in it - so i called because i figured they would fix it - the kid who took my order gave me to his higher up ( his words ) this guy was extremely rude - spoke over me - told me i said only one didnt have noodles - talk to kitchen staff while on phone and said they said they only forgot noodles in one - i returned all 3 and got my money back -higher up walked like a turtle to get it and never made eye contact - never apologized - very poor customer service - it is a shame

I always get a chicken satay and a tom kha soup whenever I go to a thai place & Lotus Thai House delivered!!! BYOB which is great! Great service for a large group of us! Our server Sarun was excellent!

This is my go to Thai. Such friendly service and delicious food.

The restaurant itself felt a little lacking. A good open space that was not intimate in any way. You could hear everyone's conversation without trying. The food though was pretty good. We love Thai food and go to different locations. This felt pretty authentic amd was tasty enough that we had no leftovers.

Food was good but the bathroom made it frightening and the dinning area floors was filthy!

The waiter said, " I suck at my job" and he then proceeded to prove it. When we left, every table was covered in dirty dishes.
The fried rice had more char than flavor and my green curry wasn't green.
The ingredients were fresh and flavorful, but not prepared to my liking.

We get takeout at least twice a month. My favorite is the red curry with tofu. Perfect every time. Good size and excellent flavor.

Amazing food. If you have ever been to Thailand you will appreciate the authenticity of this food. The papaya salad made me.think I was back in Chiang Rai. The Basil stir fry is spot on and showcased with fresh veggies and robust flavor. This place is a must go! Oh even the crispy chilli duck is beyond words.

The food was tasty and filling but not heavy. The shumai had plenty of shrimp in them and the sauce with them was great. Our iced coffees were good. The pad kee mao was delicious and well balanced with the spice. The veggies were cooked well.

The staff were working very hard to get everyone fed and served on a busy night.

This has become our go to Thai place! Every single time my husband and I eat here were so impressed with the quality of the food. My favorite go to dishes are ANY of the curries (none disappoint) and the duck special. Super good food, great customer service. Will be back probably next week.

This is one of THE best Thai places in Northeastern Ohio. They must have a secret recipe for their Pad Thai, because there is nothing out there quite like it. I dream about their food, I love this place so much!

It was our first time to eat at Lotus Thai. The lemongrass chicken was excellent. We greatly improved the potstickers by frying them up in a pan at home. However, while the chicken pad Thai was good, it was essentially a container of tasty noodles and about 1 g of chicken. I ordered extra shrimp and there was no shrimp. The red curry sauce that I ordered on the side with the pad Thai was excellent. Overall the food was good and we'll look forward to trying it again.

Love the food....it's amazing and a must try

It's just not done all that great here. There isn't anything wrong, but there isn't much worth coming back for. The food temperatures were wrong. Service was not on point. There was a lot of waiting for _______. Parking is very limited. Many vegetarian options.

Great place we frequent, but last visit: no silverware; mopey, rude wait staff who took FOREVER to take order and have no ability to juggle priorities on busy floor; and RUDE, almost hostils.

Since moving away, I have made it a mission to visit Lotus Thai House every time I’m in the area. It looks like they have gotten much more attention and traction, which is so deserved. Anyone who is considering going here, please be patient with them. It is worth the wait 👏

Normally I love this place. Today I went go pick up food and never had an issue before. I waited 25 minutes before even going in. We waited over an hour to get our food. I tried to cancel it via DoorDash but they would not refund me. If you go here go in person DO NOT use DoorDash.
I am late to an event and the hostess only is seen every 15 -20 minutes. It was so absolutely ridiculous.

While the food is actually good, the service is wretched. I’ve ordered and dined in multiple time. For pickup, if they tell you 30 minutes, it translates to 60+ minutes. Understaffed and poorly managed.

This place is a hidden gem. Some of the best Thai in Cleveland! I like that they’re willing to make your food really spicy if you want it. Everything I’ve had is good but the Massaman Curry is my go-to!

Great food. I always compare quality of food between Thai restaurants. The food at this place is tied for 1st place out of over a dozen high-end and moderately priced restaurants I have visited in 5 states this year.

Food was good. Asked for spiciness of medium for one dish and mild for another and tasted no difference. Service was awful. Called and they said 25 to 30mins. After arriving 35mins after call time I had to wait another 25mins for my food. While waiting they didn't give me any updates until I had to interrupt a hostess to ask. Will never come again.

Me and my son went there and I highly recommend it so freaking much the portion that they give you is very very generous they are not stingy on anything we also had shumai it is shrimp dumplings I had the fry he had the steam it was very soft very delicious with the ginger sauce also I honestly highly highly recommend the Thai iced tea it is only $3.50 I wish it was in a bigger glass and they had free refills with that because I kind of drink mine in about 15 seconds cuz it was that damn good so if you ever get a chance to go to this place you will not be disappointed it is a little hole in the wall but it is highly highly worth your wild...

I have eaten in the restaurant before and had good service good food and good portions. This time I ordered two soups to go one container was half full the other was almost half full. Needless to say I did not get two full orders. When I called they said that's how they do their to go soups. That is not what restaurants do and I get take out enough to know. Won't go back

A local family owned restaurant with authentic Thai cuisine. Having worked in a Thai restaurant in Europe I was pleasantly surprised to find a local locale that was serving such wonderful food. We went for an early dinner and were the only customers. The service was detailed and professional and the food fantastic. If Thai cuisine is up your alley then this place definitely should be a must on your list of places to try.

I'm no expert.... but I definitely know the difference between fresh and frozen vegetables. I got veggie pho, and the vegetables remind me exactly of the big bag of stir fry vegetables you can get at Walmart - they even had a frozen after taste. My husband got the beef pho and the meat was gray in color and was a tiny portion. Maybe they are better at other things - but I won't be trying again. If you want good pho, go to Taydo (they unfortunately were closed today).

I tried the Pad Thai once and it was amazing. Since then I have ordered it 4 times for delivery. It ALWAYS has come without the shrimp I ordered. Twice it came without any protein at all (no shrimp, chicken or egg). I kept trying in hopes of having that first meal again. I just had a delivery order show up and it's wrong again. I won't be trying again. Such a shame.

If you would like to have a real Thai food, go somewhere else. Some menu not even relate to Thai food

Everything here is pretty good. Order your favorite dish and you probably can't go wrong. In my opinion the noodle dishes are better than the curries. Really terrific Phad Thai.

But the standout dish here is Phad Khee Mao. They give it the perfect amount of smoky flavor. At first you will wonder if they accidentally burned it. Then you will get the hang of it and come back for more. Try it if you are feeling adventurous.

The no menu, order on line only option is not for me as I don't know much about that food and had questions about their food. You have to each look up menu on your phone, then try and tell the one who is ordering what you want?
There is no one to ask about the menu as the hostess is the bartender and servers as well.

No server also means no refills on my wife's soda.

I love it here. I always get the tofu veggie pad Thai and not only is it delicious, but it's been consistently good each time! The crab Rangoon's are so good. I can't wait to try the desserts next. Love that it's family owned.

Great place for lunch. Food was delicious and service was great. Lots of vegetarian options and a spice level 1-10 means there is something here for everyone. The Tofu Pad Thai was delicious and I intend on coming back for lunch often!

Thai food is good here. Service was odd. The guy taking care of us was nice but was dressed in some off brand soccer shirt and his eyes weren’t open.

I got Vegetable Curry and it was awesome. I had my spice level 7 which is quite spicy still the flavors were pretty balanced. I highly recommended.

I was really excited to try this place because of all the vegan/vegetarian options. I wanted to love the food, but it just wasn't as good as it could have been. The vegetables didn't taste fresh, and they were cold in a dish that was prepared hot. While I wasn't a fan of my main dish, the appetizers were good, and the strawberry bubble tea was delicious.

Best pho I've found in northern Ohio. Full flavoured broth without having to add any condiment then having to wait for the flavour to develop. I'm on autopilot at any Thai place and order Panang curry. I knew I was in the right place when I told the waitress I wanted more than tourist spicy. Was spot on! Now, if I can only get grandma to give over the recipe for the pho...

I love Thai food but it is always a gamble when asking for it to be spicy. I got the middle spice level and wanted it to be enjoyable but on the spicier side (I could eat a serving and be at my comfort limit). On some days I hate myself most, I might want it ridiculously spicy so I can handle pretty intense spice levels. The red curry hit my target perfectly. The sweetness of the coconut milk and vegetables blended with the spices wonderfully and was perfect when combined with the jasmine rice. It definitely satisfied my Thai craving.

My only complaint is that the curry sauce was pretty thin and I like it a little thicker so it sticks to the rice a little better.

Passing thru on Biz. I travel a lot and have tried many Thai places as it’s one my favs… folks this is a really good one… the TomYum soup was top notch. Good steamed dumplings…. Wished I had time to come back down I try other entrees. Service was excellent. Kylee was a sweetheart! You gotta come by and try if you are a fan of Thai!!

This place has been my comfort food for well over a year now (is when I moved here). It genuinely makes me happy and I have to fight the urge to keep my orders once a week only. Truly an exquisite experience! We tried the Basil Thai Rice with chicken and spice level 4 along with the Vegetable Lotus Curry Puffs 10/10! Not only was the food delightful but the service was welcoming and very professional. Best Thai food we’ve ever had and we are so excited to try the many dishes on this menu!

The Siam rolls were a nice tasty snack and the Beef Pho was delicious!! It is challenging to find good Pho and I thought the broth was phenomenal. I put it on par with #1 Pho

Red curry for lunch. Began with Tom Kha Gai soup. EXCELLENT. I wish I saved pics.

You wouldn't go here for ambiance, just very good food and prices. Staff was friendly enough. It was not very crowded when we were there on a Saturday night. No alcohol served here.

Best Thai food I've had in the Cleveland area. Our server was very attentive and said her Thai grandmother makes all the sauces (spicy peanut was delicious with the salad rolls) and really takes pride in serving authentic Thai food.

I got the pad Thai with a bowl of the tom yum goong soup. Both were so good and there was enough pad thai for me to take for lunch the next day! My dad got the chili duck which was great as well! We will definitely be going back! My new favorite thai/takeout spot!

Friendly staff and excellent food! I've done both dine in and take out many times. The Pad Kee Mao is my current favorite. Looking forward to my next visit.

Super friendly staff/family, waiter was the grandson of the chef which is so sweet. Happy to support family businesses in Cleveland. The food was excellent also, we go spring rolls and oriental salmon which was fabulous, plus their spice rating was on point, I asked for medium spicey and actually got flavorful food that wasn't excessively hot! Def recommend. Seems like people get more take out from there but the dine in experience was good too! I was with a friend in a wheelchair and it was accessable. There wasn't designated handicap parking so if you have a big van it might be an issue but we were able to get out of the car and into the restaurant easily. Thanks y'all!

Highly recommend this place. The food is absolutely delicious, great atmosphere and the staff are super friendly and amazing people. Really enjoy the bubble tea and the basil signature dish in particular.

The waiter was so nice! He was so fast and polite even tho he was by himself running around. I ordered the penang curry and my friend ordered the green curry. They were both excellent. So good- creamy spicy yet slightly sweet. So so so good! Also we ordered bubble tea we loved it! The texture of the boba was perfect. The best!

Authentic, fresh vegetables, vegetarian friendly, and the chef & staff are remarkably friendly, courteous, and accommodating.

Very good Thai, I'll go back. Just not the absolute best. Still a place I would recommend.

So so quality food. Had green curry chicken, but was very pale & watery. Waiter was not attentive, even though there are only 3 tables filled in restaurant.

Lunch (garlic shrimp). The restaurant is poorly built and the atmosphere is just plain. With all, the price is too high compared to food quality and atmosphere. I will not come again.

Over priced, not sure why they give you 3 pieces of chicken tiny pieces when you pay 20 bucks for thi pad dish not like chicken is expensive and first time being there is last just because of that you would think they would give you good amount so your satisfied and come back but nope stingy on the chicken no reason to come back

First time having the food here. The order was correct and the service was fast. The flavors of the PHO beef was very good. My fried rice, pork three ways was not really crispy but good. The seafood soup was good as well. Parking has other spots in the rear when the front is all taken. The seating is good and overall feel of the restaurant was pleasant. I will recommend this restaurant as my number Two go spot.

Love this local spot! We have ordered take out for our large family nearly a dozen times and the order has been accurate every time. We have some different dietary restrictions and they have been able to accommodate and also label the dishes when we have asked. Some of our favorites are the pad thai (tofu and then chicken are our top choices for this), masaman curry, house fried rice, chicken satay, and lemongrass chicken. The mango sweet rice dessert is also quite delicious! Glad we found this spot. They also have some sort of points system so we have earned rewards and gotten $ off some of our orders.

Good Thai food. The tofu Pad Thai and Basil Larb was good. The Tom Yum soup was okay.

Pineapple stir fry was awesome. It comes with tons of veggies and the pineapple really isnt prominent. I was so full from all of the included vegetables and meat that I forgot to eat any rice, so there are great low carb possibilities lol.

I can’t say enough of this place. If you’re looking for authentic Thai food this is the place you’re looking for. I’ve tried at least 7-8 Thai restaurants before finding this one. One of the best Thai place I’ve ever tried. I go there regularly now. It’s a family owned restaurant so they put extra effort in making the food and customer service. I would 100% recommend this place.

Great food! Ordered edamame, Thai tea, vegetable pho, chicken pad thai and the birds nest. Also have a few kids options (picky 5yo). Everything was great!

I am in town for a few days and found this place from a Google map search and went there based on the reviews.
Our table of 3 ordered a total of 7 different items, and each one was fantastic. Best vegetarian Pho I've ever had anywhere. The broth was spectacular.

The server was great. One item I ordered was too spicy for me, and without me asking, he brought me a replacement, a milder one. Next time I'm in town, I'll make a point of going here again. My 2 coworkers also said it was the best Thai they've had anywhere for years. We travel for work a lot, so this says alot!

Edit: Upgrading to 4 stars. I have been back a few times and all the experiences were better than the first time. One time I had a rice dish with ground chicken (forget what it's called) and it was very very good! This all goes to show that at a Thai restaurant, you should order Thai dishes (who knew?!). Sewer smell was not present. They must have cleaned the grease trap 🤣

Original review: Had pho (not exactly Thai) and the sprouts and herbs were automatically served in the bowl. No no! Also, the broth was too sweet and got sweeter as you ate more... Weird!
The tempura veggies and pot stickers we're tasty. Again, not Thai, hahaha. This is right across from my bestie's work so I am sure I'll be back for a lunch date. I tried her veggie pho and it was pretty good. If u are vegetarian, get it! Then place smelled a little... Sewer-y??

I LOVE their red curry! It's absolutely out of this world amazing!! Perfect comfort food. Portions are enough for a big appetite, or for someone like me, that eats less, and would like more for later. I can heat some up for lunch the next day or for dinner later and it tastes just as delicious as when it was first served.

The food and service has always been really nice! Crab Rangoon, Curry Puft Pastry, bubble teas and pad tai is our favorite

Spicy chicken Lo Mein was excellent. I ordered 10/10 on the spicy, that probably wasn't smart. It was fire. But very good.
