White-tablecloth Thai dining, with classic & less-common dishes, from red curry to walnut duck.
I got the spicy Thai basil as a carry out order. The food seems hot and fresh and has a decent spice level. I got the second highest option for spice and while milder than some other Thai places it was still spicy enough. The chicken was good and all the vegetables were nicely cooked and retained a little bit of their firmness.
The staff was friendly and helpful when I came in. The interior of the building is much nicer than the outside. If you dine in there is a nice bar and lounge area and the Thai decor is nice. They managed to make it ornate without being kitschy.
Overall it is a solid Thai place.
We were in town for a quick getaway and found ourselves craving some Thai food. A quick search, and this place popped up. We scanned the menu, and after some negotiations between the wife and I, I ordered our meal.
We started out with the Thai dumplings, which were great. They were steamed nicely with lovely flavor from both the dumplings and the sauce.
For our meal, we went simple with pineapple tofu fried rice and chicken/shrimp pad thai. They were both tasty and filling. We ended up with leftovers because of the generous portion sizes. No complaints.
For dessert, we had the tiramisu, which was great. The one piece made a fantastic dessert for the two of us.
Would recommend and would stop in again when we come back for a visit to Akron.
The service was very good. Very nice staff. Ive had curry eggplant from many Thai restaurants. Ive never had curry that was greasy. I was very dissatisfied with the quality of the eggplant curry I ordered last week for lunch. I couldn't finish it because of how greasy it was. I have pics of the grease. I ordered this meal specifically because of the healrh benefits of both eggplant and curry but it would have been more healthy to eat fast food. Im sorry to give this review because the staff was so kind.
Easily the best Pad Thai dish I've ever had. The flavors were so delicious, chicken and shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the whole meal was a filling portion! I also tried the Thai dumplings, really loved the sauce and little garnish salad. The inside is very cozy, the decor is more fancy than I expected but I enjoyed it. They have a very large menu, I look forward to coming back to try something new.
So we tried a couple things some better than others. We tried the pork potstickers as an app which were pretty doughy and the meat wasn’t very tender or tasty. Basically just ground up pork with a thick noodle casing. My husband had the crispy pineapple meal with beef which was really good, would definitely get it again. I had the Singapore noodles which were a good portion and the beef was good and thin. Seasoning was a little lacking but the biggest disappointment was the undercooked veggies that were added. Nothing against frozen but I would like my veggies cooked and not raw and crunchy. The Thai tea was great.
For similar style food nearby I’d recommend trying Rice paper restaurant instead.
I cannot say enough good things about Pad Thai - we have been dining here since they opened and never once had a bad meal, in fact, just the opposite! Conservatively priced food that tastes like you should be paying double 👍👍
On this most recent visit, the hubby and I shared their signature dish, Pad Thai (once chopstick full and you will instantly be hooked! We recommend medium -spicy!), and their Spicy Garlic dish with chicken. The portions are generous and we always have leftovers which taste just as good. WINNING!!
They were so kind and welcoming, extremely well maintained and beautiful dining area. 100/10 would recommend! The food was also delicious and now I have the bonus of having some for later because the portions are decently sized!
Comfortable atmosphere. Friendly staff. The Pad Thai did not disappoint. I ordered it Thai hot 🔥, again this did not disappoint. Excellent flavor, wonderful heat, and great balance. 👍🏻 The combination fried rice, (a sweet dish) was beautiful both in appearance and taste. The coconut 🥥 chicken soup was refreshing to the palette & soothing to the eye. Light fragrant and refreshing. We will be back to sample more treasures. Like 👍🏻 & follow for more. Thank you 😊
Food is excellent. Service is great. Lovely restaurant!

This is not what Thai food tastes like. It is absolutely the worst Thai imaginable. Nothing tastes fresh or authentic.
Their explanation, this what people "here" like you eat. It's sad in this day that they cannot/will not serve traditional Thai food.
We have eaten here 2 other times before tonight, both times were mediocre. Tonight however was a very poor experience. Her Thai Iced Tea was the best part of the meal, my water glass had something crusty on the rim. We ordered Crab Rangoon, the edges were incredibly dark and 2 of the 4 had popped open allowing oils to seep in but were otherwise tasty. I ordered Pad See Ew, the rice noodles were only slightly brown with a thin watery sauce, they tasted like plain rice noodles, no notes of garlic soy or oyster sauce to be found. I ate 3 or 4 bites after trying to mix it up better in hopes of finding sauce that did not exist then pushed it to the side. I moved on to the pineapple fried rice that my fiencee and I planed on sharing, this was ok still a little bland but it packed the most flavor out of everything. I ate a few more bites while her and I discussed the fact her pan fired noodles were not crispy in any form or fashion. We decided to cut the meal short only spending about 10 minutes pushing the food around on the plates before pushing the nearly full plates to the side and waited for our server to drop off the check. Our server did not seem to care that we hardly touched our food when he dropped of the boxes.
They were so kind and welcoming, extremely well maintained and beautiful dining area. 100/10 would recommend! The food was also delicious and now I have the bonus of having some for later because the portions are decently sized!
The pad thai is good
Food was amazing and the service was great! The decor was really cool! Cant wait to go back!!
I usually get take out but I have eaten inside the restaurant as well. Very nice atmosphere inside the restaurant amd the service was super quick. The food is delicious. I always get the chicken pineapple fried rice and the spring rolls. There peanut satay sauce is divine. The portions are huge and enough for several meals.
Food is good and servings are large. Friendly efficient staff.

Be warned, worked on their equipment in the kitchen, everything is DIGUSTING, I wouldn't let my dog eat their food. Roaches, rodents, and flies. Enjoy.
We picked up dinner for the 5 of us. My daughter has her birthday today and was so excited about getting Thai food and instead of the hole in the wall place she normally goes too, she wanted to try this establishment. First of all, you do get a lot of food for the price. That's the only plus. I personally have never tried Thai before and always heard of the flavorful taste. No, that was not the case at all. It tasted like my son made ramen noodles without the sauce packet. The Pad Thai special was the only thing that had any flavor and it was still disappointing. The staff when we went there to pickup was typical, push us in and push out for the pickup. The best decision was to order pickup and not have to let the staff look at us on how disappointed we were off the food while we tried to eat it. We will not return for pickup or dine in. We will next time visit the hole in the wall place where my daughter goes too and based on the college budget she is on, spend a lot less money and enjoy the food.
Eating here while the Thai Gourmet in Stow is being renovated.
The food is delicious.
Both Thai and Chinese dishes are featured.
I have liked every dish I have ever tried.
The portions are enough for probably 3 people.
I have been wanting to try this place for a while and am glad I did! They didn’t have many servers but took our orders quickly and food came out speedily! The menu is large with many great options for vegetarians and carnivores alike. Such great flavors. Can’t wait to try more of the menu! We especially loved the tofu in the spicy garlic entree!
Absolutely no complaints! The food was wonderful, the service was excellent and the atmosphere with some instrumental jazz in the background was just lovely. Try the Thai Rolls, the coconut soup, and the Thai entrees. It's a family favorite!
If you're looking for a high class elegant dinner like some of the other lower star reviews sounded like they were accustomed to then this is likely not your cup of tea. BUT! If you're looking for a good quality, fast, comfort food that will leave your belly full and happy without hurting the wallet then THIS IS YOUR PLACE!
We tried the chicken pad Thai, beef lo mein, and orange chicken. All 3 were delicious and exactly what we wanted when we thought of easy going take out food.
The flavors of the pad Thai were on the mild side, which was not a disappointment and the lo mein was a bit bland. But the orange chicken was very tasty and you could actually see the pieces of chicken that were battered and fried instead of the industry standard "popcorn chicken" approach that so many other places use.
So very happy we tried this place!
Highly recommended! Food was very, very good and service was impeccable. We got Pad See Ew and Pad Thai. We’ll definitely be back soon!
The lady that waited on us was the owner/manager, I believe. She was doing it all. She was waitress, greeter, etc. She was the only one working, except a chef in the kitchen.
She was personable, sweet, fun and efficient. The pepper steak, egg roll, and coconut rice were delicious.
The Chai cold tea beats anyone else's, including, Starbucks.
We would recommend.
Great tasting , relaxed upscale feel to place . Had owner serve us , comical & delightful. Will be back.
Beautiful restaurant and even better food! I will be back and I will tell my friends!
Usually take out. Have a Tai iced tea while I wait. They taste like heaven.
Very friendly staff. Made us feel welcome.
We seem to stop here 2-3 times a week. Great food. People seem very friendly n they get to know you.
Got the Pad Thai dish because that’s the name of the place, so it must be good, right?
Worse Pad Thai I’ve ever had. Seriously. I have never had Pad Thai this nasty.
Got it togo because my mother in law got it for my husband and I.
The Pad Thai had a lot of different flavors and none of them were good. Incredibly bland and salty, and for some reason sweet? Tasted like there was cinnamon in it for some reason? Horrible.
It did not taste like any Pad Thai I’ve ever had. And everything tasted old (ingredients tasted spoiled and the shrimp was really fishy) and the food was really “wet”. I tried to salvage it by eating just the meat but the sauce was overpowering.
I tried to muscle it down because I was starving. I doused it in lime juice to make it bearable (I like my pad Thai with some squeezed limes) but the more I ate, the more lime juice I needed and the more nauseas I got.
I couldn’t keep it down. I threw up.
I have no idea how the rest of the menu tastes, but if they screwed up something as basic as Pad Thai (the dish their restaurant is named after!), I would just avoid this place all together.
Wonderful as always!
I was invited to a dinner here by friends and of course it was my first time and it was excellent our waiter was very nice he explained the menu to me as I didn't know much of what they offered I recommend this place and I will revisit for more of their delicious food
Service was friendly and attentive, I was left feeling a bit underwhelmed by the food. Unfortunately, the dishes I ordered were overly sweet and lacked a balance of flavors.
My other concern was the state of the bathrooms. Unfortunately, they were very dirty. As a customer, it's unsettling to see such a lack of attention to cleanliness in a public area. I hope that the management takes steps to address this issue promptly.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and intimate. I also appreciated the variety of options on the menu.
Great food, tasty, Pad Tie was excellent! Slow service at times, and a bit outdated dining area, but was still a great experience for dinner.
Fresh hot Asian food
The food was excellent and the service even better. Spice was just right!!!
Best Pho ever!!!
If you're having a wonderful evening that you wish would never end, I suggest this place! The service is horribly slow; therefore, the dinner is MUCH longer than a usual meal. You'll spend more time than expected with your date.
Technically, I've been here twice, but I've only eaten here once. Both visits were on a friday evening. My first experience here was fairly good in both service and food quality. I had a tofu dish and it was pretty good. The server was quick and attentive which was great.
The second time I was here wasn't as good, and I didn't actually eat here that time. I was sat right away when we arrived, but then just sat at the table for about 10 mins with no menu and no service. It wasn't that busy, but perhaps they were short staffed? I ended up leaving and going elsewhere.
Lovely place to get some Pad Thai and Singapore noodles. The crab Rangoon’s came in a cute little boat to just make it that much better. The food was so good I forgot to take pictures till I was done. So the pic of my plate of Singapore noodles was what was left after I had my fill of the spicy deliciousness.
Bring cash for tip if you can.
The food was just too sweet. I could barely eat. The rice was not good or fresh. It was just bad.
Loved the green curry. Very nice server. Highly recommend
Unfortunately, I didn't get an opportunity to eat here because guests that arrived after me got waited on first. Rude.
My brother and I went on New Year's day and both had the chicken Pad Thai. It was excellent. Serving size was huge. Servers were very courteous. It was a wonderful meal.
They have come through the pandemic well. Food is better than a couple of years ago.
Staff great.
Seat yourself but pro tip: if you are going to hide in a corner tell the staff. They are not playing hide and seek and you shouldn't be either.

Today is Tuesday, November twenty eighth, at 11:00 am. The sign says open, it is past 11:00. Both doors are locked. This is discouraging considering the food is actually good.
Punctuality goes a long way.
I enjoyed Miso soup and the Cashew-Thai and will return to do so again. The meal was excellent . Few other diners this Monday noon.
The vegetable dumplings were a joke. They are literally a vegetable medley from Walmart consisting of peas, corn and cubed carrots, wrapped in dumpling papers. That’s it! Nothing Thai about it.
Beautiful inside, food taste like frozen pre-make food. Fried rice was not fried rice.
The food was hot but nothing had any flavor. What they call fried rice is steamed white rice with frozen peas and carrots in it. It's still white! No seasoning at all. The pad thai doesn't t have any heat or flavor. This was our first time and I don't think we'll be back
Great food here, haven't had a bad meal. The pad thai is wonderful and highly recommended. The service was a bit iffy the last time we went, they looked short on help. But I wouldn't let that detract you, the food has always been good.
Service was friendly but slow. The food was absolutely delicious.
Favorite dinner spot!
Place is way different now than it once was. Food is still good, but atmosphere and service is lacking. Probably best to just take out.
I cannot say enough good things about Pad Thai - we have been dining here since they opened and never once had a bad meal, in fact, just the opposite! Conservatively priced food that tastes like you should be paying double 👍👍

I usually get takeout when traveling but ate at this establishment , very pleasantly surprised. Clean, modern, upscale but not expensive. Best Hit Sour soup I have ever had and I get it at every Asian restaurant. Pad Thai was excellent, hit, spiced just right, and arrived quickly.
Great place, reasonable priced, I recommend.
Very glad to see the place back on track!!!
I love this restaurant. I've been going here for years and they never disappoint. They have good bar seating with booths and table seating serving delicious food. I highly reccomend Pad Thai Fairlawn!
Just visited here 😍 Reminded me of my trip to Thailand, all the decor and the building itself are beautiful. The food was amazing as well. We had a chicken phad Thai, chicken curry fried rice, and some egg rolls that looked like lumpia. The Lady was super sweet too. Definitely recommend.
Need more help
This is the spot for Pad Thai in the are! Friendly staff, and amazing atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The food was excellent. It tasted fresh and the portions were adequate. On the other hand they appeared to be very short staff.
I have mixed feelings about this place. I enjoy the service and food, but the health department reports make me sometimes avoid this place.
May be the best Pad Thai I've ever had! Our waitress, Amy, was amazing and so friendly! Can't say enough great things. Just go.
My wife and I tried the Pad Thai for the first time and will return again. Our food was delicious and the Long Island Ice Teas we had were excellent. And, our server Joanne L, was terrific!
We shared 4 appetizers and 3 entrees between 2 people and finished almost everything. Everything was great and came out hot and fresh. The Chicken Satay and Puket Curry were phenomenal.
It’s very nice Asian Thai Food Restaurant, good hospitality and great food. We tried vegetarian roll which seem ok but main course of “Spicy Curry Fried Rice with Vegetables” was very nice and spicy dish. And desert also nice we had Banana Fried with Homemade Ice-cream.
Nice atmosphere, but greatly understaffed. There are plenty of gluten free options. While dining in, it took 20 mins to be waited on, 40 mins to get drinks, 60 mins for appetizers, and 1.5 hrs for the entrée. Tables went unbussed for our entire stay. The lobby was chaotic with over a dozen people waiting for carryout.
Honestly shocked about the strong reviews. I love Thai food and this is easily some of the worst I’ve had. I don’t like giving bad reviews but I’ve never wanted a refund so badly. My biggest issue was with the map I tofu. It was unsettlingly bland in color and flavor. Not AT ALL what it’s supposed to be. And really with the frozen peas and carrots? I understand the need to make things more efficient in a fast casual restaurant but this was easily the worst Mapo tofu I’ve ever had. Literally went straight into the trash. I also ordered the pad Thai. It was edible but with it being the restaurant’s namesake, I expected it to be better. Ordered spice level 3, “spicy” and it was not spicy at all. I should have listened to the yelp reviews which were far worse and likely more realistic than google.
I love Thai food no matter where I go but this place was delicious! They were super attentive. She even offered me extra rice for my to go box. I ordered the mango pork stir fry and my partner did the beef stir fry.
Overall everything was fresh and had great flavor. The ambiance is this place is spectacular. You can hear their waterfall fountain from the front while eating. Will be back soon!
Don't let the 3.9 stars turn you away. I like this restaurant and the food is pretty good.
Had house stir fry and wonton soup. It was just a few dollars more than take out
and better quality.
It was very nice and relaxing
Good food and reasonable portions. Service was friendly as well.
Eat here twice a month. Very good experience every time.
Very cozy atmosphere. Great food. I recommend.
Sat there for nearly 20 minutes, two people said they would be right with us and never came back. Finally, I decided to go somewhere else.
Very good food, don't be in a hurry!
Rice Paper was not open so we got takeout from Pad Thai for first time in awhile. Food is good, not great. Recommend Rice Paper instead if you are looking for the best Thai in the area. On the other hand, if some of your party prefer Chinese, this is a good choice as they have good Chinese dishes as well.
I ordered Veggie Pad Thai, Chicken Fried Rice, and vegetable rolls for pickup. It was ready 30 minutes later than predicted, but I received some type of soup in addition to my order.
The Pad Thai was okay. The rice noodles were overcooked and the flavor was only average 3/5.
The Chicken Fried Rice was what you'd expect. Nothing amazing but I'd order it again. 4/5.
The veggie rolls had a sort of cinnamon flavor to them which was different but I liked it. 4/5.
Due to late service, price, and my favorite dish being just average at best, 3/5 overall.
Over priced and food was bland! Bland! Bland! Shrimp was rubbery. Honestly would have been cheaper to eat the rubber sole of my shoe. Do not spend your money here.
Stopped in on a Wednesday evening. Place was freezing cold had to eat dinner with our coats on. Sauce for the Thai rolls was very obviously watered down. I know this because I eat Thai chili sauce a lot. The pad see ew was flavorless and needed a lot of soy sauce to make it better. The little lady that waited on us was nice though and we tipped her for that reason alone.
Delicious carry out every time.
Hard to imagine Thai food being prepared or served any better. Comfortable seating Extensive tropical drinks And menu items featuring Thai foods but also Chinese menu. Make sure you try the basal rolls wrapped in rice paper the great seafood soup Is very spicy The Savan made with eggplant is A++
2 years later (March 2021) and living on take out. Still our favorite and well packaged for Covid pandemic.
My first time here. I got the chicken+Beef pad Thai with hot oil on the side. It was $18 with tip. First bite I can notice the meat is heavily over cooked. Luckily I got the sauce on the side and only put a small amount in the corner of my box otherwise it would have made the food inedible, the sauce must have spoiled, tastes and smells terrible. Didn’t add utensils to the bag.
Overall, not worth the price.
Food has improved greatly. Very good and hot food.
Pad Thai is fantastic! I got the hibachi pork fried rice and it was very rich and flavorful. Didn't even need soy sauce or anything. Portion sizes are large as well. It's roughly $15-20 ish per person and well worth it. I'll be back 👍
I have been looking for a place to get Pad Thai since moving to this area. I am really happy I found this place. The Pad Thai is delicious and made to order… you want extra spice no problem, you want extra sprouts no problem, you want some extra peanuts no problem! The staff is also super nice. Yesterday I went to pick up an online order and had to wait about two minutes, not a big deal at all. Because I had to wait, they gave me a soup on the house!
Good food, ordered it spicy level 3 but they forgot the spices. We added it at our table.
The fried rice was salty, the egg in it was overdone and salty.
Lower end Chinese food. Inferior ingredients translates to no taste. Egg rolls were stale. Would not eat here again .
great food! good service!
They give you ALOT of food great service inexpensive
Huge portion and very well prepared
Always made fast and the proportions are large!! Staff always kind and place is presentable. Always can depend on for dinner!!
The cashew chicken was very good. They add veggies I have never seen in this dish before. Staff has des from customers
I think they have a new chef the food has been the best they've had since they opened more than 15 years ago
The Thai Panag Curry was fantastic
I was expecting more of a Thai experience so I wasn't very pleased with the menu
Great food and service!
Understaffed (hopefully). My son and I were promptly seated and given water. Then were ignored for nearly 15 minutes; I dropped a couple dollars on the table for the water then walked out. The restaurant was no more than 20% capacity.
Hopefully they're just horribly understaffed. But someone should have communicated there'd be a wait.
We left and went to Rice Paper Thai Cuisine (I'm not getting paid to say this), two minutes away. We got seated immediately, and served quickly. Food was delicious, atmosphere was great, and the menu prices were better!
There's no reason for me to try Pad Thai Fairlawn ever again.
Go there always for the coconut soup and basil rolls. Extreme fresh and tasty.
Side note: Walking in looks like a museum with her fabulous art pieces and statues. Love the tranquility and energy of the restaurant.
UPDATE : 2022. Wow what a difference a year makes. Last year not to great of experience.
Stopped by today and it was awesome. Went from a two star to 5 stars. Food was hot and t
Lsdasty. It's back to one of my favorite places.
Definitely not the same as per-covid bit the staff is doing the best they can. Food is always good and service met my expectations.
The only note that I would make is if you are looking for your food to be spicy/hot make sure you ask for it hotter than their normal.
Love the coconut chicken soup n curry eggplant
The place could use a good scrubbing! The staff is mediocre at best. But their Pad Thai (chicken and shrimp) is unmatched and absolutely the best around. I drive 45 min for a pick up order. :)
Living and visiting Thailand for more than 30 years I know real Thai food. We arrived as a party of 8 with reservations. Looking over the menu I notice most of the food was Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese but only a couple of Thai dishes. Because I can speak Thai there was one server that was a Thai national so I spoke in Thai to her about the menu. .I wasn't given any information when I asked about the sauces, herbs and spices in the dishes which I know well. We spoke a little small talk in Thai for few seconds then we ordered.
Three of us ordered Pad Tai and the other's ordered different Chinese dishes. When the Pad Thai arrived I asked for "Pick Nam Plah", a Thai fish sauce with chili, garlic, coriander and shallots. I wanted to add it to my Pad Thai. I was told they didn't have it. Any decent Thai restaurant would have "Pick Nam Plah"
So we ate our food and the Pad Thai was not a traditional Thai Pah Thai, not even close. A month later we want to a different Thai restaurant in Brunswick Ohio and it was for real. Real Thai menu and real Thai food and yes the has "Pick Nam Plah".
The service was fine and the waitress very kind.
Amazing red curry & crab Rangoon. Also, amazing service. Will be back.
Foods wasn't all that
it’s easter and we called to make sure they were open cause other places weren’t. the guy answered the phone in a rude tone and i said “i was just making sure you were open today” and he said “yea we open man” we got there ordered our food and there was a kid sitting out in the open with no shoes on. only two people were working and they weren’t very friendly. just straight to the point. the pho was bland and the bean sprouts and basil looked old. we paid and forgot write a tip cause we didn’t have cash. and we got to our car and the man walked up to our car and knocked on the window and said “you didn’t tip. why no tip” and we said we forgot and he said “why no tip? do it then” handed it to us in our car with no pen. we lowkey didn’t want to tip cause they were rude and not the best service.
Love the vegan menu options and the rolled tofu is perfect! Vegan dream! Clean inside, and kind, knowledgeable wait staff.Recommend 10/10.
Kind staff, delicious food! I get Pad Thai everywhere I can, and I rank the Pad Thai at Pad Thai Fairlawn in my top three of all time. I'm not able to do as much spice as a used to as I get older, but the medium spice was absolutely perfect.
Food is...ok I guess. The peas in my dish taste like it's about to go bad.
Short staffed. Slow service.
The curry dishes were delicious and spiced correctly. There was only one waitress and she was running around from table to table doing the best she could . More servers are definitely needed.
Rude worker and waited for over 10 min before anyone came to counter.
Food is always great! They were short staffed but still took care of us.
Thank you 😊
We love Pad Thai's walnut chicken and egg rolls! Sorry I didn't take a pic. We ate it too fast!
Always good food haven't had a bad thing there yet. Tho if you like spicy curry make sure to aske to spice it up the spicy on the menu isn't very spicy
Service was terrible. Lo mein was salty and over cooked chicken was dry. Very over priced
