This is my favorite place in town to eat. The food here is phenomenal and the customer service is top-notch. The staff is incredibly professional and attentive to your needs. The sushi rolls are eloquently prepared in presentation.

I don't live here but travel here a lot for work and I eat here every chance I can. You should too. 10/10

Definitely not authentic at all. I think they might shine in the sushi. But the last 2 times I went just didn’t feel like it was worth it. If you need done really damn good authentic pad Thai go to Thai tasty. Tasted way to sugary with very little flavor

This place had a wide variety of sushi(and they was big) and noodles. The service was fast, dude memorized our whole order. We had to wait 15min before seated but I get it.

The food was very good and I enjoyed it, but their prices on the menu is not what you will actually be charged.

The oysters were supposed to be $9.99, not $11.99. And the Seafood TomYum noodle soup went from $16.50 to $19.99.

Regardless of the price being cheap or expensive, you should always be charged for what was shown on the menu.

Went here for 1st time on recommendation of a friend as I am not a sushi eater. They have much more than sushi, much more. The food was served hot and was delicious. The service was excellent, was checked on by staff regularly. Wife and I both used restroom and they were very clean. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly.

This is one of my favorite guilty pleasures! The food is always great tasting, even with takeout. Eating in, has a quieter relaxed atmosphere.

I’ve been eating at basil for about 2 years, maybe once or twice a month. I usually leave a $5 cash tip, sometimes a little more. But yesterday, after signing the debit card receipt, my waitress approached my table and said she noticed that I crossed off the tip section of the receipt and asked why I “Never” tip !! Even though I leave between $5 and $10 in cash for her everytime. I told her I don’t have much money to give her extra tip money & that I rarely eat there because it’s so expensive. She then blamed her manager for asking us about it and apologized. She also said they don’t pay the waitresses enough wages & she NEEDS the tips. I said, WELL I’M POOR and I can’t give you extra. Then she said sorry again & walked away, wouldn’t look at me as I was leaving. Lol. I’m not going to be eating at Basil anymore because of the high tip expectations.

I was a little scared to get ND sushi, but this place hit it out of the park. Not too much rice, and a creative menu. Chefs behind the bar were professional and friendly.

The atmosphere is quiet and laid back, Ervin our server had our Spicy Green Curry and Firecracker in front of us within a few minutes. Im excited to come back.

Always great food and fast with kind and lots of helpful waitors/waitresses.

The food was ok and the service was a little slow, but it was very busy so I don't fault them too much for that. The atmosphere though was great and the staff was extremely friendly.

Was just in town for work and found it on a google search - one of the best places I’ve eaten in years. Holy moly was it good! And the people were so friendly. 10/10!

Went with a large family group and it was a great experience! Service was very friendly and fast. The food was delicious and flavorful. Even my kids cleared their plates and wanted more!

This is always a 5 star place. I've been going here for years since I moved to Williston and have never had a bad meal or bad service. The fact that we have sushi this good in the middle of the plains is kind of insane. I love the tuna on fire or the fire on fire roll. The fried rice is the best too. All of their food is excellent though, you can't go wrong with anything.

Great experience. My husband enjoyed the sushi very much, and my chicken fried rice was very good. Server's were all polite and attentive. The atmosphere is very clean and elegant, and the beautiful Christian music over the speakers was very pleasant. 10/10 recommend, and we will be coming back to eat here next time we're in Williston. First time trying this place. I was expecting it to be good. The sushi is mid…. Eel sauce on the sushis I ordered were very bitter and tasted very odd, not the normal eel sauce that’s sweet and flavorful. The sushi didn’t hold up well too. Service was good but it’s very expensive for okay food.

Honestly always great food, wait staff seems a tad awkward on almost every visit. Not in a bad way, just very socially awkward like they're unsure how to interact with other people it does tend to throw the whole vibe off. Calamari is 🤌 always great flavor and quality.

So far, amongst the best sushi I've had... wasn't expecting that in ND! The service was great, the presentation was beautiful, and the rolls were served up fresh and fast! I think I'll be visiting here many times while I'm working around Williston.

I previously left a 5 star review as the food is good, but we won't be frequenting this place again. With Shady people working and stealing card information no thanks. This establishment has forever lost my business. For the record, I got my money back but I'm not interested in this every time I eat.

We first went to Basil Mothers Day of this year and we have since been back a bunch of times. The food is amazing and fast! We have tried a pretty big variety of menu items and have never been disappointed. I highly suggest everyone try the banana tempura dessert 🤤

Prices are high,but the food is oh so so delicious! Every single dish was packed with fresh flavour. The boba tea was exceptional too. I ordered online and had the food delivered and it arrived hot and fresh. The high prices may affect wether we order again in the future,but I'll say it's a must try at least once restaurant. The food experience is so worth it. Just superbly delicious!

I love coming to Basil, some of the best Asian you can get in the Mon/Dak area. I asked for the lunch's Chief sushi special and it was great! I had great service and great food. Can't wait for my next trip to town for work so I can stop by and have another special.

This place is a gem inside Williston. People who live here know how much this place is important for the community. The owner who had restaurants in California brought with him a tasty and rich menu with variety of dishes and options (close to 100) all with fresh ingredients that are constantly shipped in. The staff are professional and the prices compared to other same level restaurants are very reasonable. I visit this place everytime that I visit Williston. I give them 5 stars! Anyone who leaves less than 4 stars is just upset that they had to pay what is normal for such a culinary delight! Delicious food, professional service, always clean! 🌟
