They are super low key but their food is off the charts good. Prices reflect portion well. Don't even bother looking elsewhere for Thai.

I ordered a chicken stir fry dish at "American Spicy" level (2 of 5). Yep. It was hot. Yep it was amazing. Yes I will be back. 100% took my time watching the cooking show they had playing and was not rushed out at all. The people there are amazing.

Steamed dumplings 😋 hand prepped with love. I say this because I love to cook and travel. With that these are the closest I have come to matching up with V-li's Thai Cuisine in Canal Fulton, OH-IO! Sadly 😥 she had to close a few years back (age health 😢) a wonderful woman & extraordinary master in the kitchen. She is someone that I aspire to delite as well as she did. First time visiting this restaurant! Very friendly staffs yummy food! We ordered Bangkok chicken (1st pic) spicy level 3 it was perfect for me! I love spicy food, and panang chicken (2nd picture) spicy level 3 again! Lol and yup it was yummy! You have to have Thai Ice tea (3rd picture) when your go there! I will definitely go back when I’m in the area!

Best Thai in town. Big fan of the Pad Khee Mao, but their curry and typical Pad Thai is good too. If you're into really spicy, get the Thai level 50!

I've been coming here for over three years. I've tried quite a few other places but this is my favorite. I would say it's quite possibly the best thai restaurant in Fayetteville.

I use to like this place. Has gone downhill. I said no peppers nor hit spice. They put paper. At 145 pm already throwing u out.Hardly any chicken in the basil chicken. All vegetables. Only rice now in lunch special . No spring rolls. Very bad customer service. Owner in a rush and I was the only one there. Will never go back. 12 dollars for vegetables w pepper and rice.

Yeah it's good. Had the Panang Curry. So creamy, very balanced between sweet and salty. The heat level can be adjusted to the point where it could be a spicy food challenge. Very nice food. Will come back later.

When I first moved to the area about 5 years ago, I couldn't believe the incredible value of the lunch special for $7 which included the main dish AND 2 spring rolls. I would buy 3 or 4 meals at a time at those prices and enjoy the leftovers.

Slowly over the years, they raised lunch special prices 30% ($10 at time of writing), reduced the portion size, and spring rolls are no longer included.

I now find the nearby Chopstix Thai to be the better value because although the fried rice there is $13, the portion size is much larger to justify the higher price.

Food was not seasoned I can't believe people eat there for the price of plate the meat was very chewy they charge top dollar and give you the cheapest cut of meat

Very disappointed from the last time I've been here. The cabbage was old, I might have got 2 Oz of meat in the bulgogi. For $18 u would think it would be more meat. Maybe this economy is affecting them on their serving size. Idk, but sadly I will not come back.

Traditional Thai food at it’s best. We eat here often. Sometimes we eat in and sometimes we take out. Very consistent quality food. Be careful with the heat rating- I’m comfortable at level 2, my husband is breaking out in a sweat with level 3. The heat is very tasty though.

Had to pick up some donuts and coffee for my nephews move. They weren't really prepared for something that seemed simple.

So, I love Thai food. It's bold, flavorful, and just packed full of delicious and healthy ingredients. I live near Sawadee but have never tried the food. Today I stopped by and was definitely appeased. I got the basil stir fry with beef(Pad Kar Pao as I know it as) at a level 3. Overall the dish is excellent, but per preference and personal experience, I probably should've gone for a 4. The 3 is about the spiciness of a jalapeno. It's a good place to start if you are getting a gauge on your tolerance for spicy food. Either way, I am happy!

The go to place for Thai for for me dine-in or take-out. They've got all the meals and regularly get the Tom Kha soup just right. They also get any ingredient changes or requests I've made without mistake.

So I hope I dont get alittle sick. Never came to my table after dropping food off to my table. I understand mom and pop shop but lack of service to a certain race can be felt….alittle disappointing to see.

It's a decent Thai food for someone who loves eating Thai food, especially for this area. My noodles dish was a little salty, but the beef was tender. This is a mom and pa restaurant, so have a little patience with the service. The price is very reasonable and affordable.

The first time I ate here, I found a hair in my food. They offered to remake my food, and I said no thank you and left.. the second time I ate here, the person I was eating with found rope/twine in their food. It was like cotton twine with a loop and knot on one end with about 4 inches of excess. When I brought this to their attention, they offered to make it again. Again, I said no thank you and left. Their health score is in the 80s and it shows. Not to mention when I ordered my pad Woon sen, I received a small amount of what I actually ordered with a huge heaping of rice. I order this at other Thai restaurants all the time, and it never comes with rice. They are cheap and add rice as a filler so they don’t have to give you much of what you actually order. Go to Thai Esan across the street instead.

I’m from Seattle which has hundreds of Thai restaurants and I can honestly say this restaurant can hold its own against them and the price and quantity is a good value. You all are very lucky to have this Thai restaurant in a small southern city.

I’ve been to Thailand and often times, Thai restaurants in the states don’t hold up. This has been the closest to authentic I’ve had. The food is awesome and never disappoints. My mom gets vegetable fried rice at every Asian restaurant she goes to. She had sawaddee’s fried rice and said it was the best she’s had. This restaurant does not disappoint!

This is a must go to spot. The food was amazing. No MSG. Cook to order. The owners are very nice and accommodating. We ordered Thai Tea, Thai coffee, coke, sweet tea, fried calamari, spring rolls, dumplings, orange chicken, Bulgogi, and more.

Hands down the best Thai food around. Their food has consistently been of the highest quality over the years. The only thing I miss is the flat noodles they used to use in the pad kee mow.

Idk why this place has such good reviews. My parents are refugees from Laos and Thailand, so all I ate growing up was Thai and Lao food. I know what good Thai and Lao food looks and tastes like, and this ain’t it. I ordered Thai spicy drunken noodle and it came out terrible. Extremely BLAND, cheap quality produce, and so not spicy that I could feed it to my 1 year old daughter. My Laotian wife decided to throw the food we ordered, into pot, added soy sauce, oyster sauce, and dry pepper to make it have any kind of taste, since she actually knows how to cook authentic Thai and Lao food. But the point of us ordering food, is to not cook. I mean just look at the picture of the drunken noodle I got. I should have taken a look at it before I left. I mean I’m not the Karen type to demand for a refund but I would ask them to look at it and ask if they think it looked good. I’m not even the type to post reviews, but when it’s this bad, I have to get the word out there for other people. Where’s the Thai basil in the dish? I found maybe half a basil leaf. Either they’re skimping on the ingredients to save money, or they have a terrible recipe. Extremely disappointed.

4.5 This place was tasty. Healthy for the most part. They have a lunch menu even on the weekends. Which is great! The dessert was different good but a little odd. I would recommend it the friend banana with honey.

Ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp. The Pad Thai was a little on the wet side but the shrimp was cooked to perfection. The flavor was also on point. Coming from a Laos background I would say its pretty close to hoke cooking! Would definitely come here again👍🏽.

The wife brought home lunch today from a nice little Thai restaurant called Sawadee in Spring Lake. The dishes were flavorful and had our tastebuds jumping for joy. They also cater to spice enthusiasts where you can ask for more heat in increments (Thai levels 10-50) if you desire.

Food was 10/10 and will continue to go back.

First time in. Late afternoon so no crowd. Ordered Duck Sawadee (debonedhalf duck with red curry, steamed veggies, and jasmine rice). Hadn't had duck in awhile and decided to treat myself. Very enjoyable. Good sized portions, great flavors, very fast service. I enjoyed how the duck was spread from least cooked/juiciest/fattiest pieces to well done/crispy. The texture spectrum. Nicely plated. Also had an order of satee. Very juicy and tasty.

Sawaddee is one of the best Thai food in Spring Lake and Fayetteville! We have visited others and the food is not like Sawaddee's. Also their staff is extremely friendly.

The food was very average.. It wasn't bad, in fact I cleaned my plate. In their defense I did get Chinese food (Orange Chicken) at a Thai resturant. The manger/waitress was very friendly and helpful. My glass stayed full..but at the end of the day what I got was average.

The owners are super sweet & responsive. The food was so delicious, my two year old couldn't get enough pad thai.
