What made it even worse? She proceeded to grab a plate of food with unwashed hands and serve it to a table. I cannot stress enough how unsanitary and unprofessional this was. In the middle of flu and virus season, this is completely unacceptable. If this is happening in front of customers, I can only imagine what’s going on behind the scenes.

I won’t be back. Do better.

The food was excellent! Sushi rolls were delicious and the crab ragoons were some of the best I've had! The atmosphere was nice and clean and cozy. They seemed to be a little short staffed, but the place was pretty packed. I wasn't in a hurry so it didn't take away from the experience. Prices were decent. I will definitely be going back!

We chose to come here randomly not too familiar with the area. The area looked questionable but there's no question the food is absolutely amazing. The staff were so friendly you immediately felt at home. Our food was prepared quickly (and we got a lot of sushi) and it was all so fresh and wonderful. Hands down this is a true gem hidden in Salisbury. Definitely will be visiting again soon

This is my go to place when I wanna treat myself to something a little bit more expensive. I used to always get a plate that they don’t have anymore so I sort of tried to order my food to resemble that I really love their glass noodles. they are too die for.

I eat here for lunch get the Japanese shrimp 🍤 fried rice 🍚 and Mexican roll and it's always banging. The spice level on the shrimp fried nice on level 2 has a nice kick 😋

Great place. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Eggs rolls were so good, light and crispy. Chicken teriyaki had a great sauce.

Visited here for a sushi night. The sushi was very good, but I've had better. The service was pretty bad. They were way understaffed. It appeared they only had 2 servers while about 89% full of customers. Didn't stop by to check on our drinks for a long time and only once.

Called to make reservation, they refused. I asked if I called ahead before we left if they would just make arrangements for large party. Was told they would not put tables together. This was for my daughters 16th birthday party, way to ruin it now I have to explain.

Spicy beef larb salad. Disgusting. Do not order. The "beef" did not taste like beef at all. It was boiled beef with no flavor. There were absolutely no laab seasonings in the dish other than the few remnants of roughly grounded rice speckles.

As a person of South East Asian descent, this was an absolute disgrace to a dish that is loved by many SEA's. Please do better Sabaidee, by serving dishes that are at least enjoyable even if you have to make it less authentic.

I decided to treat myself tonight to chicken pad Thai and fresh spring rolls. The pad Thai did not taste fresh and the spring rolls seemed to be thrown together. This was the first time I’ve ever had to tear off parts of the spring roll paper because it was rolled so thick. They also put celery in the spring roll (which seemed like an odd addition). Yuck. The order was ready in about 5 minutes which tells me they threw the order together. I used to really enjoy eating there but sadly they’ve gone down in quality. Unfortunately I don’t see myself going back.

Well done ... Not in the steak sense of the phrase. The environment and food are top notch. No problem with the service, just that the food and decor set the bar very high, too high to match.

Highly recommend the sushi

Your restaurant is clean, you are very friendly, and always very fresh food, but our order was not accurate at all. No peanut sauce and no wasabi when we ordered extra. The wait time was 30 minutes past the estimated time to pick up. Maybe we’ll have a better experience next time.

Great sushi had a love boat for 3

Last time I visited it was lunch time. They where busy. Waitress was nice. Sushi was ok ( supermarket sushi tastes the same). But what I have noticed that place was not clean at all. Floor was sticky, doors where dirty and restrooms was not clean eather. I am sorry I love to support small business but... What happened with the standards? I do not wish to dine where I feel grossed out by surroundings.

I wanted to go ahead and change my 4 star to 5 due to the remodeling and putting a check-in desk by the entrance with actual employees using that area to do all their transactions instead of me walking in a few months back and not knowing where to go to get my pickup, or having anyone greet me, now they fixed that...Sushi is the best in town, and we are a big city couple in Salisbury. Try their soft-shell crab roll. We are thankful they are in town, or else we have to drive out of town to find good-quality sushi

I can't say enough about this place. The acoustics are perfect for conversation. The food, service and prices are always outstanding. This is our favorite place for a nice dinner out in Salisbury. I give this restaurant my strongest recommendation.

Don't ask for hot, cause medium spicy was too hot for me. Good flavor...not as good as Thai in Winston Salem, but it will do.

This place was amazing. We had the crab ragoon which were a mix of sweet and garlicky perfection should have had multiple orders of it. We also had the Tom yum soup, pad Thai, and drunken noodles.

Customer service is horrible. Do not recommend this place. They put chicken in my food when I specified that I was vegan. Drove home with my pickup order before I realized my order was wrong. Called when I got home and told them they had messed my order up. The waitress was rude and unhelpful. Food is average.

Great place to eat with friendly staff in a cozy environment. My go to dish here is pineapple fried rice with chicken and a number 3 spice level.

Atmosphere was average, it's seemed so much nicer when I was there last in 2019. It seems darker now, black painted walls etc, way less classy feeling considering the the menu. (Hiding the bugs mentioned from other reviews?)

Food- I had a few 'ok' sips of the complimentary Soup, but I discretely had to spit the third bite of celery back in the soup bowl, as it's taste was rotten compared to the first two bites that were tolerable. Needless to say I didn't finish the soup after that. I let that go as I was really just there for sushi and some friend time for lunch.
The sushi, when I finally got it, was as nice as I had remembered it. I wish their sushi menu was served at one of our other sushi restaurants in the area, for that was the only good thing going for them in my experience. I would have given 5 stars on food, but for that rotten celery in the soup.

Service- overall- BAD... !!!
At first it was average. I was politely seated and a few minutes later as my friends arrived they were as well. After my friends arrived drinks and the (gross) soup was delivered, but it took her quite a while to return to take our order. I was beginning to wonder if we had been overlooked. My two friends had their food delivered in average time, however I was told mine was almost ready and would be here in a 'just a minute'.
Ten minutes after that, the waitress told me again she was sorry it is taking so long, he's almost done it will be here in 'just a minute' and she also implied a discount for the inconvenience by adding "don't worry, we (will) take care of you"
Ten minutes later, I politely flagged her down asking about the status, and my friends were ready for their checks. I was told again he's almost done again 'just a minute', but her attitude has shifted as if she was annoyed with me. I then still politely, pointed out it was the third time she had told me it worked be 'just a minute' and now my friends are finished and about to leave.
I finally not get my food after my two friends had paid their checks and was ready to go back to work. One friend did had to leave when my food arrived, but the other friend had a loose enough work schedule she was able to sit a little longer with me while I ate.

I when I finished half and packed the other up to eat at home, I inquired about possibly getting a discount (as she had implied earlier with 'don't worry we will take care of you') She rolls her eyes as huffed off to ask the manager clearly with an attitude, non-supportive anymore.

She returned in mere seconds, sharply saying I can have 5% off, (only $3! Wow...) When I politely pointed that out how she had implied earlier that I would be taken care of and 5% seemed low, she started arguing about it saying it was she sushi chefs fault not hers etc.
I do understand that, thus asking for a discount on 'food' and I would have tipped her a normal 20% had has she not treated me so poorly about it all... so, I just let it go, deciding I'll just to apply the more reasonable discount towards her tip since she was so argumentative instead of advocating for me. I did at last give her $2 for seating me kindly.

I'll probably never go back, too bad tho, that sushi menu is quite nice! Too bad the rest of the dining experience is so terrible.

This was a great place, in Salisbury of all places, to eat. Food was excellent service was great we did get there right when they opened. I suggest that.

The food is good but inconsistent with the spice. The first time we went, the spice was perfect (ordered level 3 out of 5). The next two times, we ordered spice at level 3 and 4 and it was not spicy at all, and was actually more sweet than anything.

My family eats here regularly, and it is always freshly cooked, delicious and very tasty food. And the service is great!! I highly recommend this place.

Terrible food. Obviously frozen crab that smelled poorly. It was suppose to be soft shell crab, but it was small and thickly deep tempura fried. Sushi choice’s extremely limited, but the sampler consisted of 3 tuna and 3 Salmon. It wasn't too bad compared to our other items. Teriyaki chicken was like rubber with very few vegetables. Online menu is very confusing. Everything appears to be an add on. My husband doesn’t care for Katana so we tried Sabaidee for the first and last time.

Sweet and sour sauce was very good and there was a good proportion of meat. Good value as well.

I love this place, the food is always top tier, the staff is friendly and efficient, and the new remodel is so pretty! Their fried rice is DELICIOUS, and you can’t beat their Ginger dressing (trust me, try it with steak and rice).

The overall impression has been lost by the remodeled dining area. It was always an experience to eat in the huts and have a lot of foliage around you. The food this visit was very good and the portions were super generous compared to my last visit. The last time I went was almost the last time because of the food and portion size. I will go back for sure.

Cold rainy day. The panang curry and the tom yum soups were perfect. Delightful Thai iced coffee! The lunch special is a deal and a half.

The food was excellent! Our server was so sweet and very efficient. She never wrote down our order as she kept it in her head and didn't miss or mess up a single item. I noticed she did the same for the next two tables. She's fantastic.

Sabaidee Thai & Sushi had tons of different options for stir fry, pad thai, soups and sushi. My friends and I ordered some dim summ, crab Rangoon, the pad thai, mango chicken and sushi. All were very good, especially the crab rangoon, it was some of the best I've had yet. The pad thai I got was a spicy level of 1, which had almost no heat at all and was amazing. It had just the right amount of peanuts, lime, sweetness and savoryness. If I'm ever back in the area, this will definitely be on my list.

Let's just say the food I bought was real awful! I don't know what they put in that rice but it had no flavor and no seasoning!!!!! The teriyaki chicken had no flavor and it was only filled half way! I could not eat it! I was so so angry that I spent 16.00 dollars for this nasty food! I should have went to Bojangles instead! That's my fault and lesson learned trust me I did. If I can give this restaurant a zero I would!

I've been a patron for years. The food is outstanding. The staff works really hard. They have been short staffed and you do not know it unless you're a regular patron. They have a great lunch menu as well. My family and I give this establishment 5 stars.

This is the second time we saw the Cockroach crawling above our head and then it fell on our table, the employee did nothing about it besides “ I am so sorry”. we got charged for not eating as we got up immediately and were leaving but then the employee hurried and brings the bill as we were walking out, she charged us for the food which we did not eat.

We stop here everytime we're in Salisbury. The food is excellent. Portions are large. Ingredients are fresh and service is spot on.
My partner loves sushi and he has had it there every time as an appetizer. He has one of the Currys as well. I love the pho soup and hot tea. We've brought friends both times and they've enjoyed their meals as well.

I absolutely love the decor and seating of this place, pretty neat honestly. My husband, in laws, and I ended up here for my birthday dinner when my normal spot turned out to be closed that day. (We meet half way between Charlotte and Winston so we didn't know). They had my favorite curry and the server was nice but not very attentive. We felt forgotten more than once. My mint mojito was ok but they really should strain their drinks so I'm not constantly choking on tiny pieces of mint. (Straining a mojito is pretty standard) My panang curry was good and spice level was on par, although I wish I had opted for the rice instead of rice noodles. I prefer them separate and they came already mixed and did not have a great consistency, a little overdone for me and a bit slimy. The flavor of the curry was fantastic none the less. My husband loved his Pad Thai but expected more spice out of his level 4 spice request that could be purly on his high spice tolerance. All in all if we come across my normal spot being closed again would give this place a second chance and try adjusting my own order a little. Who knows, maybe it'll become my new favorite then.

This was our first time eating there. We went with some friends. The food was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal. They have a nice varied selection of dishes with options.

First time here on recommendation from friends. Got here at 5pm. Service was outstanding. We had potstickers & egg rolls for appetizers. Light & crispy. Then we had spicy salmon, tuna, crab & shrimp maki rolls. All very delicious! We will be coming back!

Me and my mom love going here, especially for their lunch bento boxes! However today we went for the bento boxes and my mom found a small fly in her food. She politely showed it to our waitress and she immediately took it and brought my mom a new one. We love sabaidee but they still made her pay for her meal which I thought was shocking.

Passing by driving home to Atlanta and found this authentic Thai restaurant on the way. They were extremely busy yet the servers are working very hard and together really well providing great service. The food was delicious and we really are impressed.

I've dined in and had takeout at this location. My food is almost always on time for the estimate given. The prices are great comparatively. My favorites are the pineapple fried rice and pad Thai. The miso soup is the best I've ever had and the sushi chef definitely knows what he's doing. The interior is low-lit and nicely decorated. The staff is kind, but usually in a rush. They seem shirt staffed. Otherwise, five stars all around. :)
