I got the kids pad Tai with vegatables, no meat. I called ahead to order so it was ready when I got there. Tastes really good. I like the chopped peanuts on top. So if you're allergic to nuts then get something different.

Diner Review №2

Cook the protein fresh! This place has wonderfully seasoned dishes but I've consistently been disappointed by the pre-boiled "leftover" tasting chicken. The protein should be one serving, and yet, atleast 5 times Its been tough flavorless chicken ruining an otherwise wonderful dish. If it's service times, parboiled the chicken and then toss it in the pan with sauce to finish. Food would be 5 stars then.

Diner Review №3

Green curry, good but needed eggplant!

Diner Review №4

Food is fresh, fried rice is super juicy and flavorful.

Diner Review №5

Everything good

Diner Review №6

They have cancelled my uber eats order a few times. So im rating one star to drop their average. <3

Diner Review №7

I had Beef Prick Khing. It was so awesome and super yummy. The beef was so tenderness and fresh.
It's going to meet with jasmine rice actually.
Of cause, I 'll be back definitely

Diner Review №8

Got pad Thai devivered. Looked good….tasted awful. Absolutely NO flavor what so ever. I tried to doctor but after a few bites threw the whole thing in the trash. Don’t waste your money

Diner Review №10

We ordered takeout from the Creedmoor location. It was ready in under 5 mins which should have been the first red flag of freshness. The pad Thai was extremely dry and you could tell it wasn’t made to order. Will not be returning.

Diner Review №11

Love this place. The chicken wings and thaiphoon fried rice/add steak is delicious.

Must try

Diner Review №12

Tasty chicken satay, but the restaurant is SO SMALL. Like 2/3 tables. So you're Always next to the bathroom AND next to the kitchen. There's quite a variety of Smells.. Just get take -out.

Diner Review №13

I had Shrimps Lard Na .
It was really tasty !! The flavors remind me of the Lard Na I had in Thailand. Highly recommend this dish if you haven’t already had it. The service was great very nice and friendly staff.

Diner Review №14

I ordered the Pad Thai Beef! I love spicy food so I ordered the Thai Hot. Nice heat, but it was American Thai Hot. There food is great.

Diner Review №15

We ordered two different curry dishes one mild and the other medium. They were both so over the top hot that they were not edible.

Diner Review №16

Had a birthday dinner for my wife last night. Firstly, we were the only people dining in at about 6.30 pm, followed by two others around 7. When asked what we would like to drink, I went down the beer list until, after the first five were not available, I decided on water! Next, appetizers- we ordered the Thai roti with curry sauce dip and Thai spring rolls to share for four people. There were 3 spring rolls and ONE very small roti and a small amount of curry sauce for 4 people to share! A ridiculously small portion for $9. Then, I tried to order Thai basil duck to be told it was no longer available. Honestly, at that point, I would have left, if it wasn't for my wife and our two friends. So, I switched to Thai basil chicken and had a discussion with the owner about spice levels. She told me they did mild, medium, hot and Thai hot. So, I asked for medium. When it came, it had absolutely no spice flavor at all. Neither di my wife's Drunken Noodles. I mentioned it to the owner and was provided with a plate of chili powder. Really? If I had to guess, I think they may be winding down towards closure. Never again, from a place we use to enjoy.

Diner Review №17

This used to be my fiancé and I's go to Thai spot, we work in the plaza so we ate here once or twice a week for a year. I believe there is a new owner as the place has Really gone downhill, the food used to be so good and flavorful, now it tastes like nothing, and is drenched in oil and will give you a stomach ache! They raised the price on everything and are cutting corners with the flavoring, serving extremely bland, extremely overpriced disgusting oil drenched food. And when you try to return it they will not return it without calling the owner and having the owner come down to authorize it, which tells me they are getting a lot of food return requests and that the new owners does not care about the customers they are serving. Sad to see this place take this turn. We gave it 4 tries before giving up, we will never be eating here again sadly.

Diner Review №18

This has always been our go-to take out Thai place for quite a few years but lately it has just been very plain and blah. Sad to see that happen.

Diner Review №19

My husband and I got both gotten drunken noodles. I got the scallops and he got chicken. The dishes had a great flavor but both of our dinners were drenched in oil. Truly disappointing. Not sure if we will try them again.

Diner Review №20

It wasn't great. I wanted to like it since it's an Asian small business, but the food lacked flavor and was worth a lot. It's a small space with hardly any staff so you have to catch them when they come out of the kitchen. I ordered pad see ew and there was hardly any Thai flavor that tasted more like the plastic filling for dental work. I also ordered a papaya salad that had more lettuce than papaya and also lacked flavor until I let it marinate in the fridge for a day. I wished it was better and would eat there again, but it's a one and done for me.

Diner Review №21

We really wanted to like it. However, it was very disappointing and tasted nothing like authentic Thai Food. They have some odd variation of wide noodles…that were not wide and seemed over cooked in our three dishes. The sauces also were not the flavors that usually come with these dishes (for example, the drunken noodles). It was a very sad experience for our group. If you look at the dishes you’ll see, but notice how both dishes look the the same Pad See Ew.

Diner Review №23

Why hasn't owner/Mgmt addressed this sub-standard place?!?!?!?!?

Terrible food quality, front house staff needs a smack, will NEVER go there again!!
Downtown Glenwood location is great though…

Diner Review №24

Diner Review №25

This place is great. The food is amazing, they do take out or dine-in (although the dining area is small) it has a warm atmosphere, there is a covered outdoor seating too, and the staff here are very kind.
I've had the pad Thai and crab rangoons as take out last week and they were amazing. And today I had the steamed muscles and duck soup. Both were also amazing.

*Edit: I said shrimp not muscles in my original post, I've corrected it.
Been here a few more times since, love the place.

Diner Review №26

Great place! Great food, came out pretty fast, good portions & filling! Love how calm the restaurant is & staff are friendly enough.

Diner Review №27

Food was really good and they were really fast with our food! Will be back

Diner Review №28

Takeout meal. Ordered a large number of meals for a group of 7. My massaman curry was very good, Some others commented on blandness however it could have just been their individual item.

Diner Review №29

I ordered Pad See Ew for takeout - the lunch portion is extremely generous for the price, and so much delicious flavour. The interior is not very exciting but for to go orders, I'll definitely be back when I'm in Raleigh again.

Diner Review №30

Best crab Rangoon in town

Diner Review №31

Ordered a vegetarian meal that came loaded with meat, even after I explicitly clarified my preferences. What a waste of money.

Diner Review №32

Diner Review №33

Went there with a friend for lunch. Angel was super sweet and helpful. Will be back again.

Diner Review №34

The food was amazing and super quick, I ordered the vegetarian Tom Kha which was incredible, definitely recommend to anyone looking to try vegetarian options. The blonde server was super sweet and attentive. 10/10 recommend this to everyone!!

Diner Review №35

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our meal. We each got fried rice dishes, and we ordered the golden triangle tofu and the avocado mango eggrolls. We will be returning!

Diner Review №36

When we got there for dine in, I asked for sweet tea, server acted like it was going to be a problem so I told her water was fine.
Entree came out before the spring rolls did. Also there was egg shell in the entree :/
Server never once came back to check on us refill our water and after waiting a long time we had to go up to the front desk to ask for the check.

Diner Review №37

Diner Review №38

It's a NO for me. Worst Thai tea (mostly condensed milk for little tea), order Thai Rolls which normally comes with Sweet and sour sauce but comes with a water down honey. Informed the owner that I was displeased with food but he didn't care. Told me this was the sauce he's used for 15 years. Will not be back and will inform others and you to avoid.

Diner Review №39

Takeout was disappointing. The food was not good. Seemed rushed and they forgot to place the rice in the container of two meals. Also scallops fishy tasting. Vegetables added to meals not on the menu for that meal. Too much broccoli. Using app eatstreet to order not good. Can not get a refund from the restaurant. So sad. Use to be good to eat there.

Diner Review №40

The food was good the service was better. This place definitely gets more take out orders than sit down. I like that they have pictures and a rolling video of the streets of Thailand. The chicken was a bit dry and bland in my girlfriends chicken soup, but other than that the noodles were great and it had good flavor. I got the (Hot)Hawaiian stripper specialty dish and it was excellent. Just enough spice for someone who enjoys spice, but not the kind of spice that burns you.

Diner Review №43

Always amazing food and good service! The restaurant is always immaculate! Highly recommend!

Diner Review №44

I had a not-so-great experience. The staff was unhelpful, and the overall atmosphere was uninspiring.

Diner Review №45

Diner Review №46

The pad Thai here changed my life. Honestly may be the best pad Thai I’ve had and I eat Thai a decent amount. The noodles were made perfectly and the amount of chicken was a lot compared to the size which I love. The Thai tea I had was different than any others I’ve had in that it tasted like it had some carbonation, which I personally wasn’t a big fan of but it was still decently good. Pad Thai was amazing though, you wont regret getting it.

Diner Review №47

Sucks that they don’t serve alcohol at this location. The service was great. We had the lettuce wrap and Chicken Satay. The lettuce wrap was bland and disappointing. The satay and sauce was yum though.

Diner Review №48

This is NOT thai food. My delivery order was not as expected. EVERYTHING had green/long/string beans. I ordered thai basil, didn't receive it. ALL of the "dishes" we're extremely oily and watery. Pretty much inedible. The things that mildly saved my order were the green curry and crab rangoon.
Im highly disappointed. Plus, I ordered medium spice level, and it was barely detectable. Asked for no bell peppers but there were a lot.
Scallops taste horrible= not fresh 👎🏻

Diner Review №49

Great food and fast

Diner Review №50

We ordered Crab Rangoon, Panang Curry, and Pad Thai. Usually the Crab Rangoon can be a forgettable starter but this one was a star - full to the brim with a crab-heavy filling. The Panang Curry was a rich yet nuanced dish. A hearty portion and great for peanut butter lovers and even their peanut butter - hesitant friends. The Pad Thai was well executed. Truly cannot recommend more. We will return - even with the drive from Durham.

Diner Review №51

The food is really delicious and fresh. The prices are too high for me. $25 without a drink. This is really for delivery orders it seems as eating in the restaurant isn't that great. It was raining, so seats were limited inside, but still available.

Diner Review №52

I ordered several dishes for a family dinner one night. Delivery was quick and all the appetizers and entrees we ordered were good. The red curry was very flavorful and was spiced well. We also enjoyed the chicken satay, crab and pineapple rangoon, and mango avocado egg rolls.

Diner Review №53

I went to get my favorite soup today, Vegetarian Tom Kha, and found that virtually overnight the price has increased 40%. Wow, prices are going up for everyone, but a 40% overnight price increase on a soup that contains no meat, fish or poultry? Our family will continue to support this restaurant because the soup IS delicious, but Instead of ordering it every week, we will now just get it on special occasions, maybe 5 or 6 times per year max.

Diner Review №54

Sweet and sour duck was amazing! Crab rangoon and shrimp rolls were also amazing! Would definitely recommend and will be back. Only has a few tables inside but seems most people get take out

Diner Review №55

Diner Review №56

Food was delicious. We arrived at the right time to get one of the two tables. It wasn't very busy so eating in was pleasurable. The people were very nice.

Diner Review №57

Diner Review №58

The style of pad see ew isn't my favorite, but I've never had a bad experience here and the food is always ready early and is always hot. I use door dash with them mostly pick up if there's a coupon and it's a great value. Large portions and great taste. It's seasonal but their mango sticky rice is always perfect.
Nice to have a reliable and affordable Thai place in the area!

Diner Review №59

Definitely a cozy low key spot. Seems to mainly be catered to takeout, but there is out door seating available. The thaiphoon pad Thai was amazing and the crystal noodles were aesthetically pleasing as well as delicious. The service was very good as well. Definitely will be back!

Diner Review №60

Finding good food in Raleigh can be a task lol When you find a good spot you get excited. This place has the most fresh, flavorful, Thai food I have had here. I love the chicken satay (peanut sauce is sooo good) chicken pad Thai (make it spicy), and Thai crab Rangoon.

Diner Review №61

Diner Review №62

I love coming here so much . Authentic real delicious thai food , the workers here are so sweet and kind . I highly recommend

Diner Review №63

Ordered pineapple fried rice w. Shrimp.
#fresh&flavorful!

Diner Review №65

So yummy

Diner Review №66

My wife and I ordered the Pad See Ew and the Thai Crab Ragoon. Lots of fresh veggies in the Pad See Ew and the sauce was delicious. The Thai Crab Ragoon were sweet and crispy. The owners were also very kind and I enjoyed meeting them. We look forward to ordering from here again.

Diner Review №67

The worst service I’ve ever received. Can’t call in to place an order. Once inside you place your order , pay, and there was an hour wait. The lady taking order assured me my order was being made and 30 minutes later it still wasn’t started. Do not eat here. The phone was horrible as well

Diner Review №68

To be honest, I wish there was a zero stars option. Employees here are beyond rude. I placed an order through UberEATS and the delivery driver delivered to the wrong place. I still wanted my food so I placed a second order and paid for it a second time. My delivery kept being delayed to the point it had been over an hour and a half since I placed it. I noticed they were going to be closing in about 15 minutes so I called to check on my order. The guy that answered the phone let me know that they still hadn't made my food since the exact same food was ordered again. After I explained the situation to him about why I reordered the same food, he proceeded to tell me it wasn't his problem that the delivery driver went to the wrong place. I didn't blame him or ask for a refund either. I was just trying to see how long my food is going to take to see if I need to drive and pick it up before they close instead of delivery. He then said, "If you would shut up about your order I can get off the phone and start making it." Then proceeded to hang up on me. I was excited to try this place since it is not too far from me. This was my first experience with this place and I can guarantee it will be my last. I cancelled my order and will not be supporting a business that is so rude to people. It costs ZERO dollars to be a kind person, ZERO.

Diner Review №69

Pad Thai is good and the Thai Crab Rangoon is great! So thrilled to have a Thai takeout place so close by. We usually call in our order and the food is ready promptly.

Diner Review №70

Food was awesome and the staff was very friendly.
Thank you

Diner Review №71

This place is so good. Not to pull the annoying foodie card, but as someone who has spent plenty of time in Thailand and SE Asia and a lot of time on the West Coast, this is the best Thai food I’ve had in Raleigh hands down. The curry is delish, they have roti (!!!) which is so wonderful, great soup, awesome satay and noodle dishes. It’s the real deal, and it just happens to be up here in N. Raleigh. A food blessing after many years of so few options of good food around these parts. Cherish it fellow Northerners.

Diner Review №72

Delicious food and pleasant staff ! I love the drunken noodles .

Diner Review №73

Diner Review №74

Real Thai food. Red curry, delicious. Dumplings, spot on. Pad Thai almost brought me to tears. Really nice people working there too. Sa Wa Di Kap!

Diner Review №75

I loved this place it was great! The fried banana ice cream was amazing!

Diner Review №76

Sad there was no dine in so did take out. Poor one person manning the phones and walk ins. Slow order taking.

Diner Review №77

Waited half hour or more for a pickup order. Counter is barely attended. Couldn’t get a straight answer on my order, said it hadn’t printed in the kitchen. Listened to their iPad alarm blaring nonstop as orders came in.

Diner Review №78

Not a great experience. Got there and waited 10 minutes before someone greeted me. Website says they are doing dine in but when I drove across town to eat here, they said they aren't but would still let me sit there. Bathroom was out of order. Handed water bottle that was warm. Sat inside and had to move outside because the dinging for online orders would not stop and they wouldn't come out front to turn it off. Very absent staff

Diner Review №79

The Tom kha soup is better than most places!!!! Actually how it’s meant to taste! Cute area and great cooks. Also replaced a dish I ordered incorrectly and they were so nice about it.

Diner Review №80

Diner Review №81

Vegetable Tom yum and tofu Tom yum are just a bunch of raw crunchy vegetables with not a lot of broth. Green bean, zucchini and broccoli. Both soups had tough onion skin in it that you couldn't really chew. Lava wasn't as bad but had a ton of baby corns in it. Both have a sweet taste I'm not a fan of. Lava is spicy, I should have gotten mild if that was an option and I like spicy so that's saying something. Husband's duck noodle soup is good in my opinion but didn't have a lot of broth that came with it. For that much you'd think they wouldn't skimp. We got a ton of apps and things last time and only really liked the pad Thai and orange duck. I wasn't a fan of the Tom yum rice. No wow factor and the rice wasn't great. With so many options around I think this will be our last try at this place. We gave it two tries and ordered something from every category (friend got curry last time). If you are going to order from here I'd say get the orange duck or duck noodle soup, if you're into duck. If I had to order from here again I'd get one of the noodle soups maybe.

Diner Review №82

Some of the best Thai food in Raleigh. Pad Thai and any curry with chicken is fantastic.

Diner Review №83

This is the best Thai food we’ve had in Raleigh so far! We got the drunken noodles, pad Thai and panang curry to go - all three were delicious. We’ve definitely found our favorite new spot!

Diner Review №84

Diner Review №85

Unbelievably good food! Some of the best Thai food I've had I a long time. The service was superb as well! I can't recommend them enough.

Diner Review №86

Diner Review №87

I’ve gotten take-out from this place multiple times now, and it always satisfies. My personal favorite is the duck noodle soup. We tried the Moo Ping today and it was amazing! The staff I’ve met are always very polite and timely. I 100% recommend Thaiphoon on Creedmoor if you are looking for an authentic phó or other Thai cuisine, at a super convenient and quick location.

I’m excited to try more of their dishes in the future, and thankful to have great food so close to home!

Diner Review №88

Quiet. Small. Excellent menu. The signature Pad Thai was outstanding with shrimp. My wife's peanut stir fry was less appealing. It had gray beef and raw, cold vegetables. But she said the peanut sauce was wonderful. That's something. Drink choices were good for such a small venue. We'll go back to try the fried rice.

Diner Review №89

I got Hot Pad Thai with chicken for takeout. 9/10. Whoever was in the kitchen deserves a kiss. Was spicy, but not more than jalepeños. More sauce wouldve been 1000/10. Love love love

Diner Review №92

It was such a horrible experience I wish I could give them 0 stars. I ordered a take out and i reached the restaurant almost 10 min after expected 'order ready' date but they still made me wait for another 15 min or so and when i complained about it, there was an old man who said to me the order was not late and said " get the hell out of the restaurant and never come back again" and he repeated it several times. It was so humiliating. He would scream while talking to me. He was so arrogant and rude....never ever going back there again.

Diner Review №93

I just found this place and am excited to have found real Thai around Creedmoor Road. I've only had the Pad Thai so far and it is authentic.

Diner Review №94

Drunken noodle I had was delicious. I liked their pad thai as well although it was more simple than I expected. Portions were good. Overall, it was a great find for takeout and I am excited about their lunch menu prices for noodle dishes.

Diner Review №96

Great thai food. Tasty and very high quality. Very recommended for thai authentic food lovers
