First time visiting here and it was a good experience. We were greeted and seated quickly upon entering. The place is small and the booth are a little old, but the bathroom was clean.
We ate at the buffet. The food is delicious. The tea was sweet. The cake was very good too, usually buffet desserts don't taste that good to me but this one was sooo good. I literally ate two plates and forgot to take pics so I took a picture of my moms plate but I tasted everything in the picture 😂. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was good as well. The price for the 3 of us on a Sunday was less than $50 so not too bad.
They also have a menu that you can order from.
The only I would've liked is for there to be a few more options out on the buffet but the food out was fire. I would definitely recommend and we will be back!
I've been looking for good tai sense leaving Charlotte. The locals told me I needed to try Thai Lanna, I am absolutely amazed and excited. This restaurant was DELICIOUS. I'm excited to go back, the portions were good, the food was great, the place was clean and beautiful. Fayetteville has a hidden gem💖
My husband ordered to go food for our dinner. The beef and broccoli was awful. The beef was very tough but the rice was perfect. I was to get 2 spring rolls with the meal and my husband ordered extras. No such luck . Do not suggest this restaurant at all!
I grew up on Thai Pepper. Been a loyal customer since 1994 and when I found out the owner retired and her brother took overI knew the restaurant was in good hands. Great customer service, quality food, clean establishment with affordable prices. Thank you for continuing to serve the community
The take out and dinners aren’t rhe best but the buffet food is amazing!
Good tasty food
Very nice place to enjoy Thai food, every dish prepared fresh daily: friendly staff, and excellent service… Love this place ❤️❤️
Great buffet on Friday night and Sunday lunch. Do get there early because they shut down bar before closing time for buffet and they don't bring fresh food out. I came in one time 30 mins before bar closed and they wouldn't bring me any fresh food. I was very upset with the waiters and manger. The bar the pretty much empty.

Food service and energy was amazing my daughter and I enjoyed every minute of it...thank you for awesome service
Pretty good food. Good service.
Sehr gutes Thai Restaurant.
A wonderful place to eat!
Absolutely the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. It may not be the most exotic Thai restaurant that I’ve been to but absolutely the best. The service, atmosphere, and especially the food, perfect. I’ll be back!
The food and service here are good. The Panang is wonderful!
Stopped here for lunch while in the area for work. I had a great experience! Excellent food and the servers were so kind and welcoming that we came back a second time! Going to come back to try a Thai tea next.
I ordered the pad se ew got delivered to me it was really good but their portion is a lot smaller than most Thai restaurants. Their Penang is ok it was little runny.
this place is quickly becoming my go to lunch spot. the food tastes fresh & the service is amazing. my favorite dish is the chicken pud prig
definitely would recommend
The best thai food !!!! 100$ recommend. The noodles and spicy meatballs are the best
Great Place To Get Thai Food, Good Customer Service. Family Run Business. I Highly Recommend Them. Friday Night Buffet & Sunday Lunch Buffet Is A Must.
Best Thai food bar none,I drive down over an hour on a regular basis to eat here.Wish the buffet was offered more days a week. The buffet is great, but dont complain if you come in late and food wont be replenished. Great owners and staff
The servers are always a joy to be with great and attentive service. The food is always hot and fresh and it has an overall good atmosphere. 10/10 would visit again 👍
Just for food in this restaurant, it is the worst Thai food in my whole life.
My families favorite Thai restaurant and we have tried many. The only thing that rivals the great food it the great service.
They have the best Thai food in Fayetteville
Ordered the chicken fried rice today via DoorDash and 2 spring rolls. The rice and spring rolls were DELICIOUS!!! The chicken in the rice, not so much. I don’t think I’ve ever tasted a chicken so damn bland before. Definitely needed some seasoning even if it’s just salt and pepper. Will order from here again just not the chicken fried rice, will prob. Try the shrimp next time and hope it’s a little better.
Just Nasty
Cashew chicken entree was ordered. Got home (30 miles away). No cashews or vegetables on chicken. Rather than white rice I got fried rice with egg ( which I do not eat eggs). Called to share my disappointment. Owner/manager was busy. And didn’t seem concerned with the error. But finally said to come back and she would help me. This restaurant use to be the best! Sad to share it’s not near the quality it once was. And I was there after lunch when they were not busy! Not sure I will be back.
Great Thai food, Great Chinese options. Great take out options. And the best sweet tea around.
I've been looking for good tai sense leaving Charlotte. The locals told me I needed to try Thai Lanna, I am absolutely amazed and excited. This restaurant was DELICIOUS. Love this location been going for over 20 years name has changed however same great taste
I got the chicken pad thai and oh my god yall this food was AMAZING. My husband hates noodles but couldn't keep his hands off these! Cannot wait to go back 😩
Both me and my friend got terrible food poisoning. Had the chicken and threw up all night into the next day.
It was a really nice place, very pleasant with a nice, easygoing vibe. We came during lunch for the buffet and were seated quickly with no wait. The food was great! I especially liked the vegetable spring rolls, they were fresh and had a nice texture. I would also recommend trying the cashew chicken. Overall, great restaurant that you should try!
Quiet, relaxing atmosphere, great food, friendly polite servers. Reasonably priced for this economy. What else do you need??
It was ok. But a small hot bar
Had roast pork fried rice and it was cooked to perfection.
We stopped here on our way back from Florida driving up to New York. Fayetteville doesn't have many choices, mostly chains. This was as good as it gets in terms of Thai food. If I could give it more than five stars I would. The squid salad was awesome as well as the ground chicken with basil dish. Also got the summer rolls (they refer to them as FRESH spring rolls). A bonus was that they delivered it right to our hotel Highly recommended!
Very friendly staff, great discount
Good food, friendly staff
The Sunday buffet is the time to go but ordering off the menu was really good too.
I don’t like giving bad reviews but this was the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. And I’ve been to many Thai restaurants, from fancy to humble. Be warned.
Thai Lanna restaurant has the best tasting Thai food in fayetteville.
😎
Great food and Great customer service.
La comida no están agardable, servicio pésimo
Good food!
Pickin up they give u bigger shrimp but only 5 of them were in the plate
literally. If u door dash it. U get way less food, small shrimp. They gave me two side of rice instead of just filling my plate up with what I actually ordered. I may have to try another place as far as thai. Also I got a drink half way full..
Comida muy rica
The only place where I want to enjoy Thai food. They cook the next level of authentic Thai dishes!
Absolutely awesome atmosphere super friendly staff food was very good I will go here anytime I get a chance during the weekend when they have their buffet One of the best
I can't say anything except that it's that good. I have not been disappointed in anything I've tried. I love their menu and their service. I have so many favorites from the papaya salad, spring rolls, fresh rolls, noodles, cury... I can go on. When I crave Thai food. This is the best in town.
The whole family makes are evening a delight to be there. Especially CEO GUN MEGAN JAZ. YOU KNOW WHO I AM. The food is on point every time. And the wings and pineapple is awesome. Thank you for making our usual friday night dinner enjoyable with comedy from Gun "CEO"
Pros: Absolutely stellar! Staff were both attentive and friendly, they shared stories and pictures too. The food was some of the best Thai we've had across the states. Highly recommend!
Cons: None.
Their food and service are amazing. However, they are just like all small businesses struggling to invest in the place and renovate.
Normally get the house thai fried rice. It's gotten quite pricey, paid over $30 for two plates, but it is a lot of food. Used to get chicken, shrimp, and steak but the chicken and steak looked weird and tasted a little off. So I stick to the shrimp. I also like the crab Rangoons from here.
Randomly came here on the way home from the beach. It will be a must stop at place from now on. The buffet is amazing, the owner is so nice. She was walking around talking to all the after church regulars. This is a hidden gem!
Ordered for take out - they give no utensils. I’m in a hotel. No solution offered when I called. Guess I just won’t eat it.
Love this place, great staff and service.
The meal made me sick. So sick I fasted. That is why I gave the food one star. It was average tasting. Nothing memorable about the meal, but the service I will not forget. The waiter berated me for putting the sweet and sour sauce container on the plate after I finish my average tasting meal. I guess I am the only person that stackes empty plates, bowls, etc thinking it helps. I will never go to that place and I will tell all my friends to avoid eating there.
Best pad thai in the area. Would recommend ordering through the restaurant and not on uber eats etc to save a few bucks
SERVICE AND FOOD WERE FAST AND FRIENDLY. Delicious
Portion sizes were great. Food was tasty and delivery was quick. My husband and I both really loved our dishes m. Shared 2 meals and probably have 3 more meals!
Food was good. We had the buffet on buffet night. 5 to 9pm I think. It was worth the stop from out of town.
I grew up on Thai Pepper. Been a loyal customer since 1994 and when I found out the owner retired and her brother took overI knew the restaurant was in good hands. Great customer service, quality food, clean establishment with affordable prices. Thank you for continuing to serve the community
I pick up lunch at Thai Lanna at least once a week. Most recently, I ordered the Yum Nuer Num Tok, which is a Thai Beef Salad (sometimes called a Waterfall Salad). Absolutely delicious! The staff is friendly and they remember names of repeat customers. Their online ordering is very convenient as well. Keep up the good work!
Thai Lanna has the best Thai buffet!! Everything is always amazing!! Staff is super friendly!!
Was really really good
Great quality of the food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere
Can recommend it to everybody how understands enjoying Thai food
Food was fine. However, the person that gave me my take out was rude. I had ordered online, but my boss had paid, however i politely asked for a physical receipt. The man said no, we don't give them since it's available online. That would have been fine had he been polite. But he was very rude, and acted like my asking was bothersome.
I love this place. I love their food. I go there often enough they know me and my family and know what we like/want.
Great Thai food
The service was great. Very nice people. I had the Drunken Noodles. It was really good. I only had it at a medium spice level and that was just right. I do like spicy food but not to the level that you can't taste it. So this was a perfect spiciness level for me.
The food was delicious and they were good about replacing items quickly. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
Ordered pud Thai, the container it was in was broken in a few spots and it was wildly bland (recommend big apple or pj's) and I also got the fried dumplings which were alright, but the sauce tasted like old plastic. 10/10 do not recommend
I had an amazing meal at Thai Lanna on Friday evening. The buffet had everything I loved on it, and it was all hot and delicious. The service was great, and I will definitely be back. 10 out of 10
We went to Thailand last night for dinner love the food and the place it's always very good however we walked in at 6:44 to be very promptly reminded that they close at 8 I ordered an appetizer of Spring rolls and she brought the Spring rolls off of my husband's dinner that included them as she was hurrying us out the door i have been in this business a very long time and we drove over 40 miles to be there we'll think about other possibilities before i choose Thailannaagain
Delicious authentic Thai food! Great service.
Any leftovers are great for breakfast, even cold!
Absolutely amazing and I am a Thai food connoisseur!! This is the only cuisine I cannot master cooking at home and I’m so glad I found this spot. Me and my kids try every Thai spot in town and come back if it’s good. This is definitely our favorite spot!
Minimal food choices, price, atmosphere are ok, but I think it's worth a try.
This is my go-to spot for Thai food buffet style. A little on the pricey side, but well worth it. Buffet is only served on Friday nights and Sundays for lunch...not sure why. Never asked.
My car broke down in front of this restaurant so while we waited for a tow truck we decided to eat dinner here. The food was amazing and when I asked if I could stay inside while my bf went to check on our dogs at the house the people at the restaurant were so understanding. The man (I assume the owner) even went out to check on my car for me to see if he could help. I’d rate higher if I could.
Food is always delicious and the service and employees are very nice, highly recommend!
I’ve been here a few times and it’s really good. I especially like the buffet, which is only open on certain days and times (I think Friday-Sunday, not sure of the times). I paid $18 to eat as much as I want! The buffet isn’t super big but it’s mighty. The pad thai is awesome, along with the cashew chicken. It gets busy during the buffet hours but it’s not loud or overly crowded. Just as a heads up: they charge $3/plate if you leave excessive food on your plate, so be sure to just grab what you’re going to eat. Also, some drinks come in a soda bottles and you don’t get a refill. Definitely recommend!
Excellent authentic cuisine. Ordered meals are large servings of fresh, aromatic food steaming from their kitchen. Buffet is small and not everyday, but has amazing selections that cannot be found elsewhere in town. Best tofu dish I've ever had and made me want to try more. Spring rolls are divine, very flaky outside with vegetable filling that pops. Wait staff are very accommodating and not intrusive yet always ready.
Food is great, service is great. Friday are their all you can eat buffet. It's pretty good. I love supporting local restaurants
Best Thai restaurant in Fayetteville as far as im concerned! Very clean, friendly nice staff and a butt kicking buffet
My fav restaurant! Always friendly, fast, and consistently high quality delicious meals.
I love the spring rolls and the spicy sauce. Always good here...
I ordered curry with beef and really enjoyed it. It reminded me of the time I spent in Singapore years ago.
Food poison! I threw up everywhere as soon as I stepped out of restaurant
I just moved to Fayetteville and tried this resturant for delivary. I ordered a beef and rice plate. I have never had ground beef before from a Thia resturant. This is very strange to me. I guess you get what you get if its not specific here for beef. No nice cuts of beef or beef strips.
Great prices for a Thia Buffet
My Pad Thai Noodle lunch was $13.99 (total) and did not come with any spring rolls like I'm used to at other places. It's a couple dollars higher than other places too. It was good but not excellent. I like the bean sprouts and green onion in it though . I got it mild but did not taste any spice at all.
We went on Wednesday at about 3pm. We were the only customers in there. The food arrived fast and hot. Service was good everything was fresh and very tasty.
Love how they welcome you at the entrance, great food lovely staff.
If you enjoy eating Thai food, definitely come to this place. Food is delicious and we enjoyed it a lot. 👍👍👍
Awesome place been coming here for years never disappoints. Very very clean . I’m there almost every Sunday
It's okay, but I have had better Thai food. I'm not sure why some of the items are overpriced. (2) spring rolls for $5.95?!? That's at least double the price compared to everywhere else.
Their Pud Thai and Drunken Noodles are at least $3 higher than anywhere else. For some crushed peanuts, it's $1.16?!? As much as I like Thai food, I will not patronize this business.
**My response to the business (04/26/22): I've been to your restaurant in the past. Again, you were trying to up charge $1.16 for some crushed peanuts that every other restaurant provides free of cost. So no, I'll pass on your offer. Thanks, but no thanks.
Boonma Thai has much better and more flavorful food for less cost. Their portions are generous too. And, they don't up charge for crushed peanuts.
We were 2 ladies sharing 2 appetizers. Beautiful served. Delicious. (No buffet at lunch during the week)
Roaches.
Ate here today and left sick to my stomach. After i ate my meal i noticed 2 roaches crawling on the wall. This was my first and last time ever eating at this place.
Pad Thai is yummy AF. The females working in there are really sweet and inviting.
Awesome! Best I've had around here so far
We come here weekly. Every Friday night is buffet night. It’s our dedicated good food date night. A great selection of food from vegetarian to chicken to beef to mild to spicy! Noodles, rice, a little bit of everything! And the staff is always friendly and smiling, willing to drop what they are doing to help you. There are signs on the walls informing you to not take too much food and leave it on your plate, but I thought that was the polite and adult thing to do anyway. I guess some people never got taught not to waste food. So they will charge you extra for that.
All in all it’s the only buffet we eat at, and constantly go back to. Totally worth the $15 a person for an all you can eat Asian buffet.
Not sure why people are so rude and bias nowadays, but your restaurant serves good food and very friendly. Well, I pay no mind for trash reviews. My experience was great! Best Thai food in Fayetteville.
I came on a sunday for the buffet. I found a hair in my food so I put the plate to the side and made a new plate. I didn't want to make a big deal out of the issue because others were eating around me and I didn't want to spoil their appetite. When I received the check the manager was charging me extra for the plate that had not been eaten. I explained that it was not eaten because a hair was found in the food. Her attitude was disgusting and she called me a liar. She said none of the ladies that cook in the kitchen have long black hair. My hair is red so it clearly was not my hair. She charged me extra for it anyway. She also charged my friend extra money for each plate "he did not finish" claiming that the plates looked untouched. He only had only one chicken wing and a little bit of rice left on the plates. She also tried to belittle us saying that if we cant afford $3 extra for each plate then she feels sorry for us. It was never about the money. It was about the fact that she was charging me for a plate that I didn't eat. According to her since I never "showed her the hair" I was lying. Then to charge my friend for extra for plates that he clearly had eaten off of is beyond insane. Long story short the meals were paid for plus all the added fees. We will never eat here again. Very rude manager & sorry customer service. I'm assuming that the reason she was so mad about people "wasting food" is because she has her staff reheat the food so they can feed it to people the next day. The food was not fresh and tasted like it was leftover. Just a horrible experience all together. If you are looking for delicious Thai food and excellent customer service, check out Asian Express located off of 528 S Reilly Rd. There is also another Asian Express location on 2622 Hope Mills Road #118.
My mom and I both love Thai food so we decided to eat here this weekend. Later that evening we both got very ill. We went to the ER and found out we have FOOD POISONING. Do not eat here.
Great Food!
Great Food, fast service
What a surprise! I have had Thai food all over the United States and this is as good as it gets!
***UPDATE*****
To the NEW OWNER OF THE OLD THAI PEPPER ON BRAGG BLVD**
The fact that you no longer have a buffet does not bother me. What bothers me is the quaility of food has gone down tremendously over the last 3 years. Secondly your staff is rude. So as I stated before ----ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE! There is no need for your quotes just be business minded and think about how you and your employees talk to people. There are many other thai restaurants in Fayetteville NC now.
Absolutely HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They no longer have the buffet and staff were extremely rude.
Iced coffee and veg spring rolls were good.
Green curry was average. Lot of oil on the top and the color was almost white , not green. Taste was fine.
I have only tried the fried spring rolls and pineapple fried rice. They were both ok, I’ve definitely had better.
Great food!!
This was my first visit here and I found the restaurant staff to be very kind and engaging.
My dining experience was a very pleasant one, but there were a couple of issues with the dish I chose (Pud See Eew w/chicken, Thai Hot) that I need to mention:
(1) It wasn't Thai Hot like I'd ordered (at all) and when I mentioned it to the wait staff, they brought me the seasonings to spice it up, myself.
OK.
I didn't make a big deal about it at all, but I prefer to have the seasoning cooked with the rest of the meal to be sure the flavor is in every bite. It's probably a personal issue for me, but other Thai spots in the area always make sure it's spicy if I order it that way.
(2) The noodles were way too soft, even for Pud See Eew. This made it really difficult to finish the whole dish and I eventually just ended up fishing out the pieces of chicken and broccoli in the dish (which were very good), instead.
I'll probably visit this location again at some point in the future to order a different dish and see how that goes. If that next experience is better, I'll change my '3' rating to something higher. Maybe today was just an off day?
We'll see!
Ate on a Sunday after the buffet and the food tasted like rewarmed leftovers. The noodles were soggy and overcooked and the flavors were not great. However, the staff was extremely nice and the red curry did taste good. Probably will not go back.
Had a variety of different meals here. They know Thai food for sure. The proportions won't leave even a big man hungry. And when you ask for spice they give the right amount.
Wife enjoyed the food. Normal Oriental restaurant. Nothing special but very adequate.
The Best Thai food in Fayetteville. Hands down. My expectations are always exceeded by the quality of food and service!
I ordered the Panang Curry to-go. The flavor was AWESOME!! Only reason I'm rating a 4 not 5 is that I asked/ordered/paid for veggies (apparently it doesn't come inherently) and they originally did not include that in the dish, but fortunately we checked and ran back in for them to fix...I will add there still were barely any veggies but oh well. The flavor and quick service still allow me to give a 4.
Used to eat here all the time just not as good as it used to be when it was Thai pepper ...staff still very nice
I've ordered pick-up a good handful of times now and I must say this food is absolutely delicious. I usually order the pad thai or the red curry. The flavors leave nothing to be desired, they are all there. And I've ordered with varying degrees of spiciness to see if they actually do vary. Whatever spiciness your order is what you get. I'll always recommend this to anyone looking for good food.
The food is good but the price is way to high i payed $ 20.95 with no drink on a togo plate never again to many other thai places around for alot less ......
Best Thai buffet! Great customer service.
Love this place! Always friendly and food is always top notch! Best Thai place in the surrounding area!
Not just the best thai buffet in Fayetteville, but literally the BEST BUFFET in Fayetteville!!
Brunch is back on Sundays! 😁
The papaya salad was ono luscious and the spring roll was the bomb the garlic chicken was blah no taste no garlic very disappointed on the garlic chicken 👎
did somebody say peanutbutter pad thai noodles? yes! i did! really great spot if you want something different than the average in fayetteville
Good service
