This is my favorite chinese/thai restaurant I have ever been to. I have recommended this to everybody I know. It is by far my favorite late night dinner spot. The food is fantastic and the portions are great for me, I almost always have food left over for another meal. I love everything about this place, especially the employees, specially Gavin, who is one of the nicest people I have ever met. The atmosphere inside is relaxed and quiet with nice soft lighting. The drive through is shockingly quick - I have never waited more than two minutes between ordering and getting my food.

I come here all the time, often multiple times a week, and I will never switch to a different late night drive through restaurant. If you go and enjoy the food, make sure to come back a few times, and they will treat you so incredibly well. I hope the best for this restaurant and all of its employees.

The appetizers were yummy (especially the shrimp, it had a fluffy texture to it). The General TSO is my usual safe choice but we had the basil wings as well (very interesting + savory) and Shanghai Beef (a bit tough in my opinion but the sauce was very good). Portions are pretty big, if you are a light eater then I would recommend to not order much or be prepared to take some to go.

I came in here to pick up an order and I told them what order it was and I was waiting there for 10 minutes while my order was ready on the counter and I saw them grab the same order. That’s been sitting there for 10 minutes and give it to me 10 minutes later I don’t understand what the delay wasbut it seems that way with everybody bless their heart they trying as much as they can to keep up with all the orders they’re getting there.

The food was very good the server was very attentive I came with my wife and would definitely recommend the crab wonton and the orange peel chicken and shrimp with vermicelli.

The food was great flavor but just too salty. Please cut down on the salt!

The pad thai is excellent, probably the best I have had in quite some time! Friendly staff and nice cozy atmosphere- they even gave me a free calendar for New Year's!

I have ordered from here a lot in the past my food was fresh and hot but lately on uber eats I have recorded stale old food and I have resolved not to order from here any more

I love to order bamboo and do it often for dinner I always call in my order but recently wanted a couple appetizers as a snack. I tryed calling but no one answered so I decided to drive over to the drive through. When I ordered I wondered why my tab was higher then expected. I got an itemized reciet to notice that a 5$ late night charge is added to the order. Not sure then this starts because I ordered at 11:30pm . Just something to be aware of as I've never seen this advertised.

Great food and stays open late till 3:00 am, drive thru. Have good portions and large selection of choices.

Ordered spicy veg noodles. The veggies were old n tough, reminded me of cork. Sauce was way too sweet for savory noodles and there were a couple of pieces of chicken included! $20 not well spent.

My friends and I always get excited to go to Bamboo Bistro. It is the exact experience one would want from an asian takeout place. The portions are big, the food is always fresh and delicious, the people are nice, and the menu is long. The drive through window is a little beat up but it actually enhances the experience for me. Bamboo Bistro is simple and effective.

I just paid $50 for two meals - Veggie Thai Basil and Ahi Tuna. I was not aware that they were up charging so damn much for late night. $6 extra PER DISH?! The food is good but it’s not worth that much.

The online menu says one price and when you get there to order food it's not the same as advertised . Not good service and way overpriced . I don't recommend this place

I’ve been to this spot at least four or five times. The first time it was good but the few times in between then and tonight the food in the plastic containers tastes like the plastic. Tonight I went for a quick fix because I’ve been craving spring rolls. Those were great, but I asked for six cream cheese rangoons and only got two. I didn’t wanna go back and argue about it because I have to be back at work. Don’t waste your money here.

I get Bamboo Bistro pretty often and it’s very consistently delicious! It’s awesome having a place that does delivery which also caters to vegan and gluten free folks. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful.

We ordered on line to be delivered to the house. We were told 40mins but was at the front door at 30mins. The food was very tasty. I was happy with all of it.

Moved into a new place and my car died, had to order take out while car was in shop. I specifically asked for napkins and silverware in the order instructions.

Spent $50 on a delivery of two bad entrees(even by Panda Express standards... It was literally worse than PE). Meat was tough as shoe leather, and the brown sauces had very little spice or flavor.

...and I got to eat my gross, overpriced lo mein with my fingers because they didn't bother to include the silverware I asked for. 1/10 will never go back. Total rip off.

Small plates, way too expensive & food wasn't the best. They charged me $2.50 for a can of soda.

First time visitor and enjoyed the food but most of all loved the attentive service provided. Staff who actually visit your table to check on you and ask how things are going are places I definitely plan to visit.

Seriously poorly made food. I had basil fried rice w beef that came w no basil and the meat was really tough. I don’t have high standards for Chinese fast food but this was somehow below that. Would not recommend unless you’re desperately hungry and this is your only option.

Run down place, got 2 day old wings

I was the only one there and I asked for utensils, didn’t get that. I asked for fried rice, I got brown rice. The online menu said the sweet and sour was 12.99 I got charged 16 and it’s a small portion. This was my first and last time coming here. The food was barely warm and it was average at best.

The Fried Cheesecake was amazing to say the least.

Our normal place was closed so we looked for something that was open past 9:00 and this place was very close to our normal place so we decided to try it out and it was the worst decision that we made! We each got shrimp fried rice and chicken like we normally do and the chicken was overcooked and the shrimp was not fully cooked it was so disgusting and the portions were very small compared to China Hill. China Hill is so good! We also got two vegetable egg rolls and they were very very bad they were very overcooked on the inside like mush but with a very bad taste! Also the price was completely ridiculous especially for the portion that I get for half that money I get triple the food and actually delicious better quality food at China Hill. I absolutely do not recommend this to anybody please do not waste your time with this place it's horrible.

If you start to miss poor quality food on economy class flight, come here.
All these for 36, and heavily salted.
The server repeat different orders back to me every time, and successfully missed part of my order. What’s more? there’s extra 6$ for late night orders that you won’t see anywhere else.

Our food was disappointing. The beef was very dry and chewy in both of the szechuan and lo mein. The "fried rice" tastes like sweet and sour sauce. I thought this place was better.

Had it not been that we received the free appetizer it would have been a scam and a 1 star review.

Place order by phone when I got there order was not even in progress was not offered a complimentary drink or something for the extra wait.

I come here all the time and look…it’s fine if they don’t fix the sensor and the drive thru is bootleg, but please stop giving me tangy expired peanut sauce, especially with the prices going up :(

We just finished eating lunch here!! So good. I had the shrimp pad thai. I don’t remember what others got because I was concentrating on LOVING what I got!! The crab rangoon was also good and they were big!! The owner took our order and he was wonderful!! So sweet!!

Best quality chicken in town! I've been living in Austin, TX for near 3 years. This has been a good experience. The food was fast and fresh, the chicken was NOT gamey and was good quality. Friendly people. A little on the high end, but I'm okay with it considering the quality. Great job, guys!

Got some Mongolian beef when Bamboo Bistro was at the IBM location on Burnet Rd. They gave a lot of rice but barely any beef. The portions should be more than what I paid for. The taste of the dish needs more flavor.
Service was okay. The person ringing up was talking on the phone.

Dishonest frozen food

Staff was polite and helpful in trying to decide on a menu item. I had beef, shrimp on fried rice, and it was delicious. My only suggestion would be to make the menu a little easier to read. I would definitely eat there again!

Food was good. I had the lo mein with shrimp and chicken and some jalapeño crab rangoons and those were super good.

the food is great - everything is prepared fresh and it's always delicious. i would like to thank the the guys that work (own?) tonite bcuz they were so helpful to me when the grubhub delivery guy STOLE my food and lied about delivering it to me. they helped me with another order and helped me get a refund - only to have grubhub send THE SAME THIEF back to steal my food again at 1:00 am in the morning. they called me and did not let him take my food this time - so i went to pick it up and they pointed out the thief to me and gave me a delicious bowl of soup for free! they know how to treat their customers and i will forever be a happy loyal customer THANKS GUYS!

Unexpected $6 late night fee which isn't listed anywhere on the late night menu when doing a call in/pick up order, felt scummy to get hit with it when picking up. Food was so bad me and my friend stopped eating after a few bites to make a pizza instead. Fried rice and meat/veggies in rice were dry, the food tasted like I cooked it myself and I'm not a good cook. Would not recommend from this experience, there are Thai places that do it way better also open late.

We always enjoy anything we order from Bamboo Bistro, the wonton and sweet and sour soups are our favorite, we always get a large because more is always better. Everyone is always kind and welcoming in the store and drivers doing delivery are also super nice too, definitely recommend.

The food here is sub par. They ingredients are super cheap and you can tell. Literally tastes like store bought dumplings and powered chicken stock. Not recommended.

$20 for noodles that don’t even taste good and a soda at a drive thru is crazy. Not just that, but they have the audacity to put a tip line on top of that AT A DRIVE-THRU. Never going back.

This is the worst Chinese I've ever had. We had delivered honey chicken (mushy), Mongolian beef (texture of leather), and worst of all was tasteless Sichuan. I hate to waste food so tried to force my family to finish it. But it was simply unpalatable. Most of it went into the trash. I'm sorry.

Great place to get food at. We come here a lot because the service is good and fast wether it’s drive through or dine in. We always get quality food. The inside is so calm and cute, there is often no one inside. The staff is friendly all the time.

The food is alright but it’s almost like they don’t like their customers. Locks on the bathroom don’t work… I’m a male and went into the men’s restroom and not two minutes later, a woman I saw working behind the counter, walks in on me using the bathroom! Not even apologizing or anything, just muttering something about the lock not working.. The most confusing part was that the women’s restroom was wide open and I was the only customer in the restaurant when I walked in and when I walked out! So I can’t imagine other than a peeping Tom scenario, why i would have a lady walk in on me in the MEN’S restrooms. When the womens restroom was open the whole time and nothing even getting an apology when interacting with her later… All in all, between the mediocre food and the unprofessional staff, it’s safe to say I won’t be coming here again.

I’ve eaten here a few times, it’s hit or miss. this time I spent $17 for soggy chicken with old, brown broccoli that tasted like mush. The hot and sour soup was just salt with ONE piece of mushroom and 3 pieces of tiny tofu. The crab ragoons has no crab, just green onion cream cheese. Super dissatisfied, everything was too salty and flavorless

We had veggie spring rolls from appetizers. It came with sweet peanut sauce which was delicious. For main dish we got spicy jalapeños with white rice & tofu and also sriracha noodle bowl with tofu. They can make it vegan with eggless noodles and different sauce. But it costs you extra $2 bucks or so to make the dish vegan. Overall great taste. Delicious Asian food. Good portion size.

Traditional Chinese fast food.

It's tasty and a good location with easy parking and it also has good service but it's very Americanized. It is locally owned but since they have gotten busier over the years it seems like they've added a lot of sugar and salt to all the food. I would make sure to get something that is naturally less sugar and salt. I like general tso's chicken and sesame shrimp but both are just loaded with sugar.

The food is delicious, but the wings were a little dry. The wings were delicious the last time I was there, so maybe it was that day I went.

My family and I love this restaurant! The owner is amazing and generous! We usually order delivery, and our food always arrives fast, hot, and there's nothing missing (very important when having food delivered). Try the pan fried pork potstickers, red curry, sesame chicken, sriracha noodles, I could go on and on.

I can't stress enough that the food was so bland and boring it was unappetizing. Not bad. Just boring. Edible. The only reason I gave 3 stars is one star is for the food being edible, and 2 is the absolutely amazing service. I had the combination ramen. Recommend to take the food home and spruce it up yourself. PLEASE add SALT or anything. This was so unsalted it hurt

Worst Asian/Chinese food we have ever eaten. Seared Ahi tuna was over cooked and to spicy. Mongolian beef tough! Egg rolls mushy. Soup tasted burnt. Only thing we could eat was the crab wontons. Will never go back or recommend this restaurant!!
