The food was excellent, I searched around for a good place and glad i chose this one. I ordered before I got there and it said 20 minutes. It’s mostly a pic up and go kind of place but it does have some tables to eat in. I had the pad Thai level 3 which was excellent and the fried wonton which were good. The place over all was a little pricey but I guess it is New York. There’s a small parking lot next to it but only holds like 6 cars. Would come back

Diner Review №5

Ordered Drunken noodle and yellow curry. Both were delicious with very good flavor. Would go there again.

Diner Review №6

Small seating area. Excellent, authentic food.

Diner Review №7

I got some Pad see ew and it was delicious! I got a level 2 spice and it was a bit spicy so be warned! Highly recommend for Thai food 😊 I also got some Thai iced tea. It wasn't my favorite but drinkable. Maybe not worth $5.

Diner Review №8

We've ordered takeout twice now and we are absolutely in love with their food. I actually am so surprised this place doesn't have 500+ reviews.

The only request I would have is to add khao soi to the menu with bone in chicken, it would make me so happy because I can't find khao soi anywhere in Rochester! We will be returning regardless, again and again!

I cannot stress enough how AMAZING this restaurant is. The service was phenomenal, the staff is friendly, happy and it was a joy to pick up my food. The meal itself was outstanding. Every bite was a dream. Me and my husband got the drunken noodles. He loved the shrimp and I could not get over how good their pork belly is. The dumplings are addicting. Thank you so much for consistently amazing food! Happy new year!

Diner Review №10

If you want authentic and yummy Thai food, this is the best place. Probably the best Thai restaurant I’ve been so far. They also have a choice of different spice level if you like spicy dish or not. Would recommend 10/10

Diner Review №11

Tom yum is the best this side of the Mississippi

Diner Review №12

Super friendly staff and superb food. All the textures and tastes were impressive plus great portion sizes. Best tom yum I have had!

Diner Review №13

Just unbelievably good.
Like literally.

Guys. I am not joking.

Try. Must try.

If there is a 10 star. I will give it to them.

Diner Review №14

We ordered two pad kra pow (one with ground pork and one with crispy pork belly). They were both well-portioned and delicious. The staff were very friendly. We will be coming back! (Especially because I only got a bite of the pad kra pow with crispy pork belly and I NEED my own portion next time!!)

Diner Review №15

Not sure what happened to the old google review but just rewriting my original thoughts. This place is delicious and so far is unrivaled in all the other Thai restaurants I have visited.

Diner Review №16

My new favorite Thai restaurant. Tons of flavor and great portions. Very consistent every time

Diner Review №17

I was craving Thai food, and ThaiYada was the most recommended restaurant. I was eager to visit and was delighted by the food and service! The food was authentic and high-quality, and the atmosphere was very welcoming! Definitely would come here again and highly recommend it to everyone, regardless of whatever cuisine you are craving!

Diner Review №18

lovely, tasty take-out

Diner Review №19

Really really good! We just tried Thai Yada on a recommendation from our son because we wanted some good Thai soup and he said theirs was the best. I had the Panang with red curry and I added chicken. We ordered online and you can select how spicy you want your soup to be on a scale of 1-5. My soup smelled and tasted amazing and came with a side of Jasmine rice. My wife had the Tom Yum soup and added shrimp. She swapped out the rice for a side of rice noodles. It was hot and delicious and she loved it. We will definitely be back to try more items!

OH MY GOD THIS PLACE IS THE BEST
As a Thai myself, this is one the best Thai restaurants I've had in a while. The owners are Thai as well, so you know it's authentic. The food is delicious, the restaurant is clean, the price is affordable, and the staff are super nice!! I really recommend it, you guys have to come and try it your self. Definitely will be back again!!!!!

Traveled from the Bay Area to Rochester and ThaiYada made the journey so worth it! Great atmosphere, food that hits the spot, and really kind staff :) Best Thai food I've had, I will definitely be coming back!

Diner Review №30

My favorite place to eat in Rochester! The nicest staff and seriously some of the best thai food I've eaten in the States. They were also so good for accommodating my dietary restrictions. The food was so authentic and the vibes were off the charts. I would go every day if I could :)

Diner Review №31

Attempted to order from here. They did not have flat noodles in stock. I had to see if I could order something else so I told him I'd call him back. When I called back the first person didnt understand when i asked him to replace an order and handed the phone off without relaying the information. When i told the second person i didnt want it with the smaller noodles (since he asked), he told me he would cancel that. I then asked them to cancel the whole order since they were unable to make half of it and it didn't make sense to have only one person in my group eat. Afterwards doordash called and asked if I would be picking up the order I had canceled.

I guess the best solution would be only to order food if you are at the restaurant.

Diner Review №32

I ordered the house fried rice with shrimp. My wife had pad see eu. Both were fantastic. Our first trying out this place and we can’t believe the taste. I chose lvl 1 spice and it’s the perfect amount. We will be back for sure. This is our new favorite Thai spot.

Diner Review №33

I ordered the house fried rice and it was not good at all! the chicken looked like it was boiled in water and had no flavor, there were burn/ scorch marks on the rice and it just needed some flavor. the egg in the rice looked like it had already been cooked and added to my order. For $40 worth of food and it was tasteless. won’t be back.

My family and I fell in love with Thai food 23 years ago thanks to an incredible restaurant in Pittsburgh called Thai Cuisine. I've never found a place close to that first experience until this evening. I was only able to try one dish -- the Gaeng Keow Wan / Green Curry.

It. Was. Fantastic. The curry has an incredible blend of flavors, and the tofu (so good!) and veggies are cooked very well. Some of the chicken was a little tough, but that did not detract from the rest of the dish.

The people who cook and serve are lovely, kind, and attentive.

While I enjoyed dining in, be aware that it's not air conditioned, and there are only a few tables. It seems most of their business is take-out.

My only regret is that I'm returning home to VA tomorrow, and so won't be able to try more dishes.

Go eat there as soon as possible.

Love it, it’s so yummy and great when craving something spicy, they provide values from 1-5 to choose on how spicy it is, 5 is a lot

Went to ThaiYada for dinner but their AC was out so we instead opted for takeout. We ordered drunken noodles and larb. One of the best Thai places I’ve ever eaten at due to true flavors and authenticity! The steak in my drunken noodles was chewy so I’ll get chicken next time. The Thai coffee was very sweet. Larb ordered 3/5 but was 5/5! But the drunken noodles at 3/5 was 2/5. I guess it’s all relative but that larb was Thai hot so next time I’d get a 1/5 just in case.
Would go back again for pickup

Diner Review №51

Amazing and authentic Thai food. I closed my eyes while eating the pork pad krapow and chicken larb and I was transported back to Thailand. 4/5 spice level was perfect. Literally drinking the liquid from the bottom of the trays after eating every last bite. 11/10 awesome spot - highly recommend!!

Diner Review №52

After the first time I had Thaiyada, I think to myself “Pad Kee Mao with Crispy Pork Belly” every day. Literally once or twice a day I ponder to myself “Thaiyada tonight?” And every time I get it the noodles welcome me in with open arms, spice level perfect, meat and veggies cooked like the team has been honing their craft for centuries. I can not be around a group of friends going “what do you want to eat” without immediately thinking about Thaiyada. I mean this, I’ve meant this for YEARS. Pad Kee Mao at my wedding please!!!!

Diner Review №53

This is our favorite Thai place in Rochester. Great food and people!

Diner Review №54

This is the closest to authentic Thai food in all of Rochester! I’ve been going there since they opened in 2019 and I’ve been hooked ever since. The food, owners, service and atmosphere are fantastic - it’s like having amazing home cooked meals.

Diner Review №55

I love Thaiyada!! Awesome and authentic; the best Thai food in Rochester!

Diner Review №56

Thai ya da is a very authentic Thai restaurant, simple atmosphere with reasonable prices and the most authentic Thai food in Western NY I feel. I’ve traveled to Thailand several times, if you miss Thailand and the food please come here and say hi to TJ the cook.

Diner Review №57

By far my favorite Thai restaurant in Rochester. My family are big fans of the pad kee mao, pad see ew and any of the rice dishes; pork belly appetizer is also DELICIOUS. Their generous portion sizes are worth the price. I truly love this place, not just because of the food but because of the incredibly kind people and excellent service. If you haven’t been here before, make sure to check it out!!

Diner Review №58

Great family owned restaurant with such kind people!! Unsure where all their reviews went, but their thai food is authentic and excellent! I’ve been getting their pad thai for years and it has been one of my favorite thai places in rochester and in new york (comparing to restaurants in NYC)!!

Diner Review №59

Great food always fresh and tasty

Diner Review №60

I don't know what happened to their Google reviews, but it was a 4.9/5 with nearly a thousand reviews the last time I was here. I travel a LOT and ThaiYada is the BEST Thai food you'll find on the east coast.

My recommendations: Panang with chicken, fried tofu, and a thai iced tea. Their house special fried rice (basil rice) is also exceptional if you want to swap that out instead of getting the Panang.

The food is pricey, but portions are HUGE and the quality is beyond exceptional!

ThaiYada is easily one of my top 3 favorite restaurants that I've ever been to in and out of the country. Highly recommended!
