Our Story
In Thailand, food forms a central part of any social occasion, and it often becomes the social occasion in itself or a reason to celebrate. This is partly due to the friendly, social nature of Thai people, but also because of the way in which food is ordered, served, and eaten. Family and friends unite and share through food.

First time at this new Thai spot, and it definitely won’t be the last. We started with some well-seasoned chicken wings that hit the spot, then dived into a steaming Tom Yum seafood hotpot packed with flavors, just the right amount of spice, and fresh seafood. To top it off, we had a couple of beautifully crafted cocktails that looked as good as they tasted. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. If you’re a fan of Thai food, this place is a must-try. Can’t wait to come back!
Attentive, pleasant, thoughtful service, with all your expected Thai fare, but certainly at a quality only outmatched by Michelin Star restaurants. At this price point, it's gratefully a location that makes it easy to get a spot to sit in on a Friday night with minimal wait. One of the best spots for Thai in Queens for sure.
My husband and I stopped in to eat last night. We had the honey BBQ ribs and Tom Kha Guy soup for apps. The ribs were good, but they give you an odd number and for some reason we’re not able to make them spicy. Which would have entailed adding a sliced chili pepper to the sauce but they couldn’t figure that out. Also asked if they had chili sauce or chili flakes - no, they didn’t have that either. The soup was too sweet. It was totally missing the savory element. It’s just a bowl of white liquid with white chicken and white mushrooms. Devoid of color and spice. My husband got a spicy seafood dish that was delicious and had heat. So they do know how to add spice to a dish. My red curry was also too sweet. They never asked if I wanted it spicy, but I feel that wouldn’t have happened even if I asked for it. Service was excellent, very friendly, checked on us a few times. Food just needs a little something more to make it authentic tasting. Maybe more fish sauce, ginger, garlic and lemon grass.
One of the best authentic Thai places in this part of city. Food was on point including the flavor. The ambiance has a cozy vibe to it which makes it perfect for intimate gatherings. It can get busy late weekends so I highly recommend that you make a reservation. There is ample outdoor seating once there is good weather. My recommendations are the Turmeric Chicken and a regular Thai Iced Tea. Make it a point to visit this spot at least once, you won't be disappointed.
Lunch special was a good deal. The spring rolls and dumplings were good. We also liked the curry puffs. Peanut sauce in the salad was amazing. Was not a fan of the soup that came with the lunch special. Drunken noodles were average. Basil Chicken needed more basil flavor, a little dry, as well. Servers were courteous.
What a wonderful place. Flawless combination of decor, service and delicious food and drinks
The service at Thai Social was exceptional. They were very attentive and always ensured my water glass was full which is super important when eating spicy food. I had a few dishes and would highly recommend their Zapp Wings and the steak salad.

Food is amazing
Staff is friendly
Service is fast! If you want something fast I recommend this place. Worth every penny. Cocktails are well made as well.
Excellent food Excellent service highly recommend

The food here is 10/10
One of my new favorite restaurants. This place has a calm environment, the servers were kind and helpful with suggestions. I had an all around great experience.
I dined here a week and had a great experience, close to 5 stars. Decided to order uber eats and was very disappointed. The red curry was like liquid, like a soup and had 2 pieces of chicken in it. It's not supposed to be a soup. This definitely isn't authentic. The tom yum soup was overdone with coconut milk. Very disappointed. I guess I'll order from K'nd next time.
Best Thai food
Love the food
Great drinks and great Asian cuisine. Not a huge menu but everything our table ordered was delicious. Apps are also really good.
very authentic restaurant with fast service and great quality. thai iced tea paired very nicely with the spicy pad see ew.

Always good food, with great service. Friendly atmosphere.
I was so thrilled when this place opened up in my neighborhood.
Prior to that, I had to travel all the way to Great Neck for my favorite chicken phai Tai.
So delicious here and well made.
Since it's opening this place now has a steady flow of customers coming regularly not only to feast on their delicious meals and specialty drinks but for the excellent customer service here.
They go above and beyond in their dealings with the customers and one of the owners are always on hand to make sure everything here is done correctly.
Drunken noodle was exceptionañ. Service is great, and food comes out quickly.
very small portion, orded with UBER eat , the green curry only has the curry no rice and adding rice will cost $3 ~~~ , that is very ridiculous......
That’s my spot to go ,great
Food , really recommend the drunken noodle it’s fire 🔥
Fantastic green curry. Chive pancakes could be better but overall great thai food.
Great service. Delicious foods.
The food is great and the atmosphere is amazing.
Decent food in a Decent location.
Food is good but order-taking, communication, & customer service poor. Twice paid extra for brown rice but got white rice instead. Second time i checked for the brown rice, they swapped the white for brown but neglected to put the soup and appetizer in bag, which i didn't realize until i got home. I called about it and they said they would give me "a credit." I asked if they could text me a credit slip and was told it would be on record with my cell phone number. When i ordered food today they seemed really uncertain how much the credit was. Finally the woman taking the order said the whole lunch would be free. Pleasantly surprised, i ordered with same soup and app as before. Was planning on tipping them $10 to thank them for correcting order. But when i got to store they said the "free meal" had been a mistake--i was charged with full price of meal but they threw in 2 soups and 2 of the same appetizer. I said "if I'd know you were going to do that, i would have ordered a different soup and a different appetizer--plus, you specifically told me 'credit,' not extra appetizer." On top of all that the "2" edamame appetizers looked like 1 order split into 2 containers. Soup containers also were only 3/4 full. Not planning on going back there.
If I can give the service negative!!! The food is really good, however the waitress there all had bad attitude! We not finished our food, they try to rush us to leave!!!! If you want find some place to having dinner nicely. Don’t come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is me and my fiancé's "spot". Anytime we are looking to have a date night, want to treat friends and family, or it's Friday and we just need to decompress, this is our place. We started coming here when they first opened, before they even had their liquor license, and have never looked back. Being totally candid, we come here to eat or take out on average at least once a week, sometimes two or three times if we're busy. We even had our engagement dinner here. I really can't speak highly enough about Thai Social. The food is the best Thai food in Queens, by FAR. All the food is good and you will be impressed by the typical standards (i.e. pad thai, drunken noodles, red/green curries, etc.) BUT if you're looking for something more interesting, order the rice clay pot with beef, the pineapple fried chicken stir fry, the coconut crab curry, and if you're a vegetarian, the crispy basil eggplant. Absolutely stunning flavors in these dishes. Aside from the food, the service is impeccable. The owner, Gig, and her team totally make the experience. They make every effort to cater to you in a way that is personal without being intrusive. They also get to know their regulars, and we absolutely love that. In terms of atmosphere, the vibes are great. The restaurant itself is just beautiful and very creative, with the artwork detailing the walls, the bright colors, flowers...it's *pretty*. The music is never too loud and is usually modern or interesting covers of well known songs. It's an inviting place for families, couples, and friend groups alike. And everyone you see just seems happy to be there, and why wouldn't they be? If you haven't been to Thai Social yet, you are truly depriving yourself! Let this be your sign to try it out!
Great hospitality, food, and drinks were creative and very tasty! New outdoor seating adds a new vibe and gives another dining experience. Decor is appealing and insta worthy. Would definitely come back!
I bought a basil friend rice with roast duck lunch special and Zabb wings for 35$ 😱 I should've got the receipt bc why was this so expensive? I ordered at 3:24pm so I'm thinking they charged me full price instead of lunch special price without telling me.
Grateful to have this solid Thai spot!
I liked the ambiance and good service. I bought drunken noodles and basil chicken. They have lunch special combo offers.
Mid food expensive food
The food is great. But I don't know why the front desk staff are very unfriendly and impatient in answering questions about food. This makes me never want to come to this restaurant again
The front desk staff seemed very impatient. Very unfriendly. Affects our family's dining mood
Food is getting worse … service is terrible …
Great Thai restaurant, the service and food is excellent. It's a must try!
The absolute best Thai I’ve ever had. Kra Pow Gai Sub is amazing. I die when I eat it. I can’t describe it any better than that.
Best dinner
They have a sign that says it is accessible for wheelchair users. This is not true, it is a short steep incline which my sister found very difficult to walk up with her walker. Also the restaurant is very tight and narrow. Not easily accessible with a walker or a scooter and if someone who is wheelchair bound came here they would find it nearly impossible to enter or sit. Manager and her staff were very rude and not accommodating to me and my sister with a disability. Food was good, would just order out than sit in this rude place.
Nothing special. Had 2 lunch specials.. 2 thin egg rolls, all you can taste is the batter, better give one thick egg roll. Soup and salad were ordinary. Mixed vegetables were healthy without tofu. Chicken satay my son liked but was OK as well. So 3.5 stars overall.
Solid traditonal dishes like pad see ew and drunken noodles. Mind you spicy level spice is very spicy. Crispy tofu was right off the stove or oven and excellent. Nice outdoor area. Will come back.
Has their basil fried rice with duck ughhh it was so good perfect amount of spicy which no one knows how to do and the mango sticky rice was so good also . Was very happy will definitely be coming back for more
Great food
One of the best Thai places in Queens! Food was really authentic and flavorful. Service was impeccable with speed and alertness. Highly
recommend going here and trying the Khao Soi and papaya salad extra spicy.
Fantastic service and really good food. We love Thai, and this was great from the beginning to the end of the meal.
One of my favorite Thai restaurants. Food is great. Dine in seating is compact and need improvement. Not ideal for big group.
Best Thai food in NYC
Great thai food! Love it as they are spicy and delicious. Also the services are great
Ahmed was sweet
Home style Thai cooking. Flavorful, delightful every time. We usually order something with pork belly, crispy duck and all their noodle dishes are awesome.
Bad customer survice, rude and angry.
Food is sour and cold, Room was without ac or any cooler. Service is poor and the waiter was rude, they were rushing us, attitude was like: eat fast and leave! Surely we don't recommend anyone to to dine in.
Very bad attitude of the the people who work there.
Very bad customer service. If The waiters are so sad why they work there!
I had the Porkchops which was very tasty I enjoyed them the Tai wings were also good great place
Rude ,service bad, discrimination
Great presentation and taste!
As a lover of Thai food, I was interested in trying this place for a date. The service was good, and they were attentive. The menu had an immense selection of food, which I like. Me and my date started with spring rolls and curry puffs. My first time trying Curry Puffs so I was expecting the sweet after taste. I didnt try the spring rolls.
My date had the pineapple fried rice and I had the sauteed chicken with garlic sauce. The dish was decent but I noticed it tasted very sweet. When I mentioned my date also said she thought all the food was exceptionally sweet.
As I person who has eaten in many Thai establishments this was a first for me. That was my only issue if any.
Food was ok, I do like Kin'd better. We have been going to Kin'd almost every week for a year now, today we decided to try a different thai restaurant. Like other posts mentioned, one of the waitresses definitely doesn't welcome us at all. I always tell people if you don't like what you are currently doing, find a different job that you may like. This lady is very unhappy and should definitely move on to her new journey. I would recommend the owner to find a different team member that cares about the business.
While moderately expensive in relativity to it's nearby competition, it's well worth it in exchange for good food, paired with a nice relaxing atmosphere.
Went for dinner as a family celebration. We were 6 people. Ordered the salmon and rice dish. There were supposed to be cashews in the dish according to the menu. There were 2. I asked the waitress for more cashews as there were only 2. She retorted if I want more I would have to pay for it. What an insulting cheap comment. I would have asked to speak to the owner but didn’t want to ruin our celebration. Also the salmon was dry and overcooked. It must have been precooked cause it was served very quickly after we ordered.
Food was exceptionally great. It was the service that I highly don’t appreciate. The waitress wearing glasses would not wait till the food was completely done to take it away from us. It seemed as if she didn’t like us and gave an attitude. While eating one of our foods ; not even close to finished, she comes with our check although we did not ask for it yet ; seeming as though she wanted us to leave as soon as possible. We did nothing wrong and still decided to tip generously although she definitely does not deserve such kindness. Be careful dining here if she is your waitress.
I do like this place but only on a weekday. It gets crowded on weekends and the staff cannot handle it. The food doesn’t taste as good and the service goes down due to them rushing you. The prices are higher here than nearby Thai spots but some dishes are better and it is more convenient for me to get to. They do get the spice level right and the noodles are the standouts. I was very disappointed when I went in for a lava cake yesterday and they served me a COLD cake with no lava and a tiny amount of rock hard ice cream. For $12 that was kinda messed up. I hope they learn from this review. I will return here but never on Friday or Saturday night.

Unfortunately, I didn't get the same experience everyone else did and my first impression it to NEVER go back. I don't even think she wasted time to look up as she took my order. I told her it was my first time and looking forward to my takeout meal no customer service. It fell on deaf ears so I scrolled through my phone until my order was done. It has handed to me and that's all she wrote. So then i went home to enjoy my meal and what a disappointment. My Chicken Pad Thai was dry, the other combo meal lacked flavor and the rice for my kids order wasn't good at all. Thanks for wasting my time and money.
Food is fresh and delicious. Great variety and special seasonal items are always amazing! Service & Wait Staff are kind, energetic and friendly. It's a warm and trendy vibe inside. The bar is well lit & centered. We regularly order take out and enjoy dining in as well! Lunch specials are great too. Some things we love:
App: Curry Puffs & Mango Salad
Green Curry, Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice & Vegetarian Dishes
Dessert: Mango and Sticky Rice & Coconut Vegan Pudding
Absolutely lovely little bustling restaurant in queens. Worth a visit. Everything was delicious. The service and good food make a solid combo. Thank you to the manager Jane and server Luna who made us feel welcome and well taken care of also. Will be back! Bravo to the ladies who run the show ❤️
I have been ordering takeout here through DoorDash for a few months. Everything is delicious. I decided to use them to cater my mom's 91st birthday dinner. Placing the order was easy. When I arrived to pick up the order, I was greeted by a warm, friendly staff. The restaurant is cozy and quaint. I ordered the pineapple fried rice, Thai wings, fried dumplings and mixed vegetables in garlic sauce. The food was a hit with my family. I will definitely use them in the future and look forward to dining in there soon.
Food is good but it got me so sick for a whole week. I had gotten food posioning from them, I went to the doctor and was placed on meds. Im also breastfeeding my baby and because of them I got so sick my milk supply dropped which is not only effecting me but my baby as well. I have constant diarreah and vommiting. Be careful buying from them.
Really good and tasty place
The food here is fresh and delicious. Great portions without being overwhelming. The service was spot on. Everyone was so nice and attentive. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. The atmosphere is warm and quant. I never write reviews but they were so impressive! Finally a spot that offers it all!
Some of the best Thai food for miles. Everything was delicious. The service was fair. They took plates away the moment you took your last bite, and sometimes even before we finished. The restaurant was packed, so they were trying to turn over the tables as fast as possible, still I hate being rushed when I'm out dining.
Well, I have to say that the food is on point, but I just didn’t like the customer service you know being treated bad with an online order and yet showed the lady. The receipt on my phone told her the name etc. but still proceeded to ask me all these other questions For ? Don’t need to Steal anybody’s order . But yet she didn’t do that to the other guy that just gave a name not cool, whatsoever but that little Interaction just really turned me off. Very vibrant atmosphere but please do better with your customer service treat everyone equal… Would’ve gotten five stars.
