Coco Hotpot promises a delightful dining experience. Explore the exotic flavors.
We stopped by here as it was next to Tangram Mall as we wanted something hot on a cold day. The coconut water soup base paired nicely with the chicken. As with hot pot, fish slices / lamb slices/ mushroom were my favorite.
This place offered coconut pudding as a dessert that was not too sweet
Reservation recommended!
The food was great. The seafood was fresh and the chicken was tender. But there was no one helping us put the chicken in the pot, we were not told any instructions and just confusingly put it in after the soup was boiling for five minutes. We saw the server did for other tables.
It's my first time trying coco Hotpot. The chicken was so tender and juicy. I especially like the coconut juice as the soup base - it is very refreshing and aromatic! Food is full of flavor. The environment is vibrant and full of energy. The only thing I would like them to improve is their service. I wish the staff could pay more attention to their customers' need without being asked. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone who wanna try a refreshing hotpot experience with coconut juice!!
First time trying 100% coconut water as a “broth”base for chicken. I love real coconut water and I was always skeptical to try it as a hot soup. My friend too me here for dinner, I’m so shocked but happy with the experience, coconut broth is not weird at all and after chicken was cooked in it, the flavor is a good combination.
Their free range chicken was so tender, I was doing my happy meal nodding~~~~
All ingredients we ordered were fresh and good with this coconut water broth. Even their homemade shrimp paste was surprisingly good. I’m happy with this experience.
The server was very attentive and passionate about his job, he was explaining to us about the house made soy sauce for dipping, he even create 2 dipping sauces to go with our food. Haven’t come across any server this nice, attentive and passionate about their job. He was telling us their background history as well.
They also have this timer to ensure the chicken just cooked and super tender.
Overall, it was a happy meal. I’d come back if I’m ever in the neighborhood again
The coconut chicken pot was super delicious! We were a little skeptical but the broth of just fresh coconut juice and chicken was amazing. After you drink all the broth and eat the chicken, they refill with regular hotpot broth so you can just all the other things. The hainan chicken looked really good too, will have to try next time. Just didn’t love that they charged $2 per person for sauce.
Flushing Prince Street sure has tonsof special Chinese food specialities and hot pot is definitely one of them. Coco Hotpot has one of a kind hot pot that stands out. As youstep in the restaurant, almost every table ordered their stewed chicken in coconut milk which consists of fresh range-free chicken and three fresh young coconuts with the absolutely tastiest broth you can imagine. Order conveniently via their tablets with pictures and description of each item. Add a claypot rice for a discounted price. Their staffs help with pouring the fresh coconut water into the pot then simmer the chicken inside witha touch of sea salt. What a perfect aromatic flavor! Service is impeccable and amazingly quick. Once our butterfingers drop a spoon or chopstick, another set arrived without even asking. Start with enjoying a bowl of delicious soup and enjoy the taste of free-range chicken dipped in their sauces. Opened until 6 in the morning, you can always find amazing hot pot anytime!

My old review was then. This is now. Their food went downhill. Everything was as bad as it gets. The atmosphere is also very childish and seems like it's meant for kids 18-29 years. It's definitely not a restaurant if you want a good classy meal.
Old review: Oddly everything was ok. I don't usually eat at hotpot places and especially if I'm not eating hotpot. Everything was on point except for the lack of hot sauce. That's becoming a trend in my NYC dining 🤔. All good though.
Absolutely love this coconut chicken hot pot spot in Flushing! The broth is incredibly fresh, naturally sweet, and gets even richer as it simmers. The free-range chicken is firm yet tender, absorbing all the amazing flavors. The fatty beef, enoki mushrooms, and crispy fried dough sticks were perfect add-ons. Plus, the claypot beef rice was a hidden gem—so flavorful! If you’re a fan of light yet deeply satisfying hot pot, this place is a must-try!
One of the best coconut chicken hot pots in Flushing! The broth is light, naturally sweet, and packed with flavor—so good you’ll want to drink it straight. The free-range chicken is tender and juicy, and every ingredient we tried, from the fatty beef to the crispy fried dough sticks, soaked up the amazing broth perfectly. Don’t skip the rice noodles or the claypot beef rice—both were delicious! Great quality, generous portions, and a must-try for hot pot lovers!
Amazing coconut chicken hot pot in Flushing! The broth is incredibly fresh and naturally sweet from the coconut, perfect for sipping on its own. The free-range chicken is tender and flavorful, soaking up all that rich coconut essence. Loved the fatty beef, enoki mushrooms, and crispy fried dough sticks—they pair perfectly with the broth. The rice noodle and claypot beef rice were also top-notch! Definitely a must-visit for anyone craving a comforting, high-quality hot pot experience!
Food is excellent and customer service is good too. But parking is a bit hard but they have affiliate parking lot too.
Coco hotpot is amazing. The soup base is is savory with some sweetness. Their hot dipping sauce is so flavorful that I was drenching everything in it. The staff were really accommodating of my two toddlers and Im so appreciative of this gem of a restaurant!

Amazing Hotpot Experience. The ingredients were incredibly fresh. The vegetables were crisp, the meat was of high quality!
Tasty yummy

My buddy recommended the Hainanese chicken. Did not disappoint. Really flavorful & succulent. 🥇🥇
Paired well with the Young coconut drink. After you finish the drink, request the waiter to slice up the shell so you can also eat the white flesh.
Truly Excellent!
Good vibes & service. Will return again with big appetite after a long ride 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Way too overpriced for what it is.

The waitress has an attitude. Seems like she hated working here.
The food is great and the service is top notch.
The food is one of the best in New York. Really enjoy dining here.
It’s so delicious that I have to eat it every time I visit New York.
I can’t rave enough about Coco Hotpot! It’s officially my go-to spot for hot pot in NYC. The cozy ambiance and mouthwatering aromas set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.
The highlight is definitely the coconut juice-based soup. It's such a unique twist that elevates the entire hot pot experience. Each time I've enjoyed the coconut chicken soup, it has been incredibly rich and flavorful, with the chicken being unbelievably tender and juicy—like it melts in your mouth!
On my last visit, we decided to try the clay pot rice, and it did not disappoint! We ordered two, and they were gone in a flash. The combination of chicken and spare ribs are delightful and pairs perfectly with the hot pot.
I’ve brought friends and family along, and everyone has been thoroughly impressed. My mom, who is notoriously picky, even gave her stamp of approval—an impressive feat! Whether you’re nursing a hangover, enjoying a casual night with friends, or treating family to something special, Coco Hotpot is always a hit.
The service here is exceptional. The staff is not only attentive but also genuinely friendly, making it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. I appreciate how careful they are when adding ingredients to the pot, ensuring we don’t get burned! It’s clear that the staff is treated well, as they engage in light-hearted banter, creating a fun atmosphere.
It’s also heartwarming to see the manager Eason mingling with diners and checking in to ensure everything is to their liking. This personal touch adds so much to the experience.
I highly recommend the boneless chicken—don’t underestimate it! It’s packed with flavor and stays juicy even after cooking. I’ve honestly never left feeling heavy or in need of a detox, which is a rarity with hot pot.
Overall, Coco Hotpot is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in delicious, authentic hot pot. I can't wait for my next visit!
It's healthy and the food was alright

The coconut chicken hotpot is the best! The soup is also very tasting. I will definitely visit again!
It’s great food and service!

Good!
Really good coconut chicken
We go there once a month from Brooklyn. They have the best coconut chicken hotpot. Service is attentive. One of the waiters with glasses is super polite and he always provide great service for us.
I don't mind paying a high price for food, but $2 each person for sauce (soy) is ridiculous. Please let me know when the store is going to charge extra for chopsticks. I'm never going to come back because of the extra charge, which wasn't told us earlier.
Update 7/20
Please advise your customers better when asking them to go to the sauce bar. I was told by your server that you have a sauce bar there. I was never told I had to pay extra for soy sauce. I understand Haidilao's policy because they offer candy, appetizers, and desserts. For their bar, I wouldn't mind paying a little more. However, your sauce bar only has scallions and various sauces(much less than competitors), none of which are unique. Your server should have waived my extra charge when I was there. I still left a 20% tip, which amounted to $25. Sorry, I won't go there again over $2. Charging for soy sauces is ridiculous. Due to high cost of business, please note we will start charging for chopsticks. What a shame!
Their food is delicious everything is above average and price of the food is pretty reasonable.
Fresh and exquisite broth. Unique taste. Love how they incorporate local vendors like wontons from Maxi’s Noodles. And the sauce station— be your own sauce boss
Can’t believe they’re open till 6 am. Perfect meal after a night out.
Pretty good experience and the coconut chicken soup is super clean tasting.
Food is delicious and very calm and relaxing place after work.
Food was quick with tablet and soup with good with coconut flavor ,
Food ok…
But the service is suck, we have the lady waitress she is not good at all so rule!!
Service’s good, coconut soup not as sweet as last time
very friendly people provide good servicd

Good food.
Delicious!
Have been here many times. Great flavor as usual.
I was recommended to this well-established restaurant, and the food was indeed delicious, deserving of a 4-star rating. However, I was alarmed to see a staff member spill raw chicken drippings on our table and not acknowledge she even did that. This posed a significant health concern as it was stressful to monitor if the drippings contaminated our sauces, seaweed dish, drinks or utensils. Given this serious lapse in hygiene, I would rate this aspect a 1 star, as such an issue should never occur in a reputable establishment.
Deliciously satisfying! The coconut chicken hot pot at this restaurant is a flavor explosion. The broth is rich, creamy, and infused with just the right amount of coconut goodness. The chicken is tender and perfectly cooked, and the variety of fresh vegetables and herbs elevate the dish to another level. The service is attentive, and the ambiance is cozy. Definitely a must-try for any hot pot enthusiast! My favorite place for coconut chicken soup in NY!
After looking for hotpot places on Google maps I stumbled across this one which had a high rating. I figured I'd give it a try, although after having dinner here I'm not entirely sure why the ratings are this high?
The food and ingredients are fresh, although there is nothing really that sets it apart from other places in flushing. I ordered the chicken and mushroom hotpot, which was admittedly good, however with only the "base set for 2" I somehow ended up paying OVER $100 for two people?? This was with absolutely no add-ons.
To top it off, someone who I think was the manager told us to "make special sauces" and indicated for us to go to a sauce bar, then charged us on our bill later for using it? That's quite an underhanded trick for a hotpot restaurant. With the amount of restaurants in Flushing, I don't believe this place warrants a visit. Although now I know why this restaurant was empty on a weekend.
Hainan chicken is 3/5, meats are half tender half tough, maybe cuz the breast, there are better place to eat hainan chicken but is not too bad.
Veggie is nice, 3.5/5
Rice I like it, 4-4.5/5.
Always come here for coconut chicken hotpot first time try only pan fried dish, not bad :) nice atmosphere and great sound list. Very authentic Cantonese (Yue) food approved by Cantonese (me) hahahaha upgraded to 4star cuz of the rice.
Ps: the service is very nice here, especially the little chubby guy with the glasses hahah almost everytime I’m here is served by him and he likes to help when he sees it even thought he already so busy. Such as offering to make sauce for you when you didn’t ask. Make him the leader or store manger when the boss not here 🥹🥹🥹
The chicken is very tender, the base is coconut water from 3 real coconut, it’s sweet. I’d like to go again to try other soup bases.
The chicken is great!
Very good coconut chicken hotpot place to go as comfort food 👍

Great. Light and flavorful.
Nice Spot, they use IPad to order which is easy to use
Delicious!!!
Great food
It tastes good. Waiters are very friendly. I will come back. 5 star Restaurant
The food and service are great here, the environment is clean. The coconut hotpot is a bit sweet for my own taste, but the food quality is excellent!
Fantastic hotpot!
Horrible food and regular service. The quality of chicken is rather high at the price point but the soup is really dirty with too much suspended matter(see the pictures). The PorkTripe& ChickenSoup combo contained one “fresh” chicken, a small portion of the vegetable, and a plate of noodle. It cost around $50 per person, which is definitely not worth. The one and only most important part of the hotpot would be the freshness of the chicken. Also, I got really thirsty after this meal.
We were given the reason by the manager that the chicken was preserved by the flour, which is absolutely lying for the suspended matter. Upon paying, there were no apologies of how the soup is weird today, or any apologies of any kind.
Honestly my friend brings me here today, and she has been coming here for years, the quality of food and service has gone down severely. She used to vouch for this place and says this was one of the best chicken hotpot in Fls but she definitely can’t say that anymore. And we will never come back again.
My favorite place for coconut chicken soup in NY! The chicken is soooo tender and juicy, and the soup is at the perfect level. Normally that’s my go-to, but their claypot rice is tasty too, four of us finished two of them.
Make sure to try the coconut pudding, it’s so good and even better than some dessert place
Good food. Chicken is delicious.
Good taste! Great for family gatherings.
Great service, food, and clean restaurant! Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by staff and given complimentary tea. Ordering is convenient via waiter or ipad at your table and food comes out quickly. For party of 3, we ordered coconut chicken broth set for 2 and it was plenty of food. Staffs always walk by to make sure we have what we need as well as change our plate half way through the meal. Overall, good experience from both food and service perspective. Idea of healthier hot pot since it is coconut water base is also a plus.
Credit card accepted and recommend to gauge if food that comes with set is enough before ordering extra. Make sure you ask staffs to make you the 2 house special sauce (pictured)!
over rated food, bad service. Entire time didn’t have anyone check on us to adjust the stove, we have to do it manually. We gave 18% tips because we respect the service industry but the servers truly didn’t deserve it.
Highly recommend coconut chicken pot. Definitely will come back again.
