I recently dined at Bangkok Degree with a friend, and it was a delightful experience! From the moment we arrived, the servers welcomed us warmly and provided attentive, friendly service throughout the evening.
The drink menu was impressive, and we especially enjoyed their new cocktails—creative, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. For appetizers, we ordered Moo Ping, fried wontons with quail eggs, and fermented fish papaya salad. Each dish was reminiscent of authentic Thai street food and packed with flavor.
For the mains, we chose crispy pork basil and Pad Thai, both of which were delicious. The crispy pork basil had the perfect balance of spice and crispiness, while the Pad Thai was flavorful and had that authentic taste you’d hope for.
Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for anyone craving authentic Thai food. I’d recommend making a reservation if you’re planning to visit during the weekend prime hours, as it can get busy. Definitely worth a try!
So glad we tried this place out! Definitely make a reservation beforehand - I made one day of, and I’m so glad I did because it got packed quickly. The decor was cute and lively, with lots of hearts for Valentine’s Day. The crispy quail egg wontons were pretty tasty, and I really enjoyed my drunken noodle with beef. It had the perfect level of spiciness, and the beef was tender with a lovely char on it. The only thing was that our drinks didn’t come until halfway through our entree. Heads up, they ask for cash for tip vs. card, so bring some if you can.
Great food! But we were crammed in there so tightly that I could not physically get to my seat, and I felt like we were literally sitting next to strangers. I could hear clearly the convos of my neighbors, so I can’t say that it made a good date spot. With a few adjustments this place could be great!
Absolutely LOVED this restaurant! The food was outstanding though I wish I asked to get it spicier lol. We got wings, drunken noodles, moo ping, and a salmon and rice dish. All were delicious. I got a signature cocktail, it was strong, delicious, and priced accurately for the neighborhood.
Amazing service, didn’t love my pork dish because I thought it was supposed to be different, and they comp’d a tofu dish on the restaurant that I loved! So grateful.

Superb food! Excellent service and ambience/
The food was really good and their teas was perfect. Worth a try if you are in the area. They also have lunch specials on weekdays.

Amazing food
Food was delicious and reasonably priced, do recommend going if you have the chance.

We had a 7:30 PM reservation on a Friday night, and the place was packed when we arrived. It took about 15 minutes to be seated. We ordered three appetizers and two entrées and received our drinks shortly after. However, we waited 40 minutes for our appetizers while other tables, seated after us, were already getting their food.
It became clear that our order hadn’t been submitted to the kitchen until we asked about it. The staff apologized and claimed there was an issue with the kitchen, though that didn’t seem accurate, as other dishes were coming out regularly.
To make matters worse, our entrées were brought out just three minutes after our appetizers, leaving us no room or time to enjoy the starters without feeling rushed due to the limited table space.
Despite the poor service and delays, we were charged full price and received no further apologies from the staff. Overall, it was a disappointing experience with unprofessional service.
Pranzo veloce, piatti buonissimi e presentati con gusto sopraffine.
Ambiente piacevole e curato!
They don’t time the meal. So if you order two appetizers and two entrees they will try and dump the entrees on top of you before you’ve barely started eating the appetizers. This is problematic not just because you end up feeling rushed and have piles of food on your table but because the tables themselves are tiny and there’s no room for all those plates. We sent the entrees back when they tried this and told them to wait till we finished our appetizer. I would deal with this next time by ordering entrees after the appetizers are done. Or make it very clear you don’t want them to fire your entrees till you finish your apps. Service is very fast and you’ll get entrees in no time without being rushed. Food is great. Many other accurate reviews discussing the best dishes I won’t get into here. Atmosphere is very nice although it can get very loud when the dining rooms full.
This place is delicious. Our table ordered the tea leaf salad, curry puffs, edamame, green curry with chicken, pad see-ew with chicken and Thai fried rice with pork belly. Every single dish was fantastic in its own way. Pork belly was perfectly crispy on the outside with melt in your mouth center. Curry puffs were on the heavier side of curry flavor. Tea leaf salad had a slight spice and sweet flavor and the green curry was a mild spicy. The cocktails were also as pretty as the pictures in the menu and were a hit with those who had them at our table.
Crab rice is 🔥🔥🔥
Very good thai food
Very nicely decorated and excellent service
Y’all, food this food is sick!!!!! The Roti massaman is fire with side of jasmine rice!
Great food and service :) my go to in Park Slope!
Great food, warm & cozy atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Fantastic environment and food is amazing. I recommend you to come here.
Really delicious duck! Service is kinda subject to change but overall they are super nice.
No complaints here. They have good food and good service.
Always amazing service, the entire staff is wonderful! The drinks are amazing and the food is a must try! Best in Brooklyn.
Small intimate setting. Gets crowded very fast. Food is flavorful, portion size is a bit on the smaller side. Really good food overall
Delicious!!
Yes!!!! Thai iced tea!!!
The food here is very delicious and the service here is also amazing. Will come again next time for sure 👍 .
I love this place, I come here all the time! The food is amazing and the workers are very friendly.
The service at this establishment was disappointing during our visit for lunch today. The staff member who took our order displayed a lack of professionalism, exhibiting rudeness and rolling her eyes when we inquired about the availability of shrimp rolls on the menu. It is concerning that such behavior is tolerated in a customer-facing role; clearly, this employee could benefit from additional training. Regrettably, we do not plan to return.
Is alright,
Had tastier and crispier pork before, had better Thai food before, just an average neighborhood Thai spot
This is the first time I came here and I had an amazing dining experience.
The Stone pot with Crispy pork and The branzino soup are really great! I would love to recommend that.
Our server was fantastic! They were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. They really added to our great experience.
The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal, we’re so sad that we didn’t take any photos because we were really enjoyed the food.
I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great thai food and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
This place is not your average Thai spot. While they have familiar favorites (looking at you drunken noodles) I’m very happy we got the Khao Soy as it was satisfying and full of flavor. The chicken Larb was also decent but very salty. We also had the papaya salad with fish sauce and curry puffs, both really solid. And for dessert we had their coconut custard which had a beautiful presentation while also being delicious. Paired with artfully crafted cocktails we had an elevated dining experience!
It was great, i would recommend many people to give this place a try ! Great service and Great food.
Ummm I cried when I got to my last bite. If Alexander Hamilton came here, he would’ve been satisfied.
The food was amazing and the service was spectacular!!! 5 stars.
Buen servicio al cliente ✌🏻
Great customer service and ambiance! Loved it
excellent atmosphere, pretty good food, drinks just okay (but shame on me for craving a margarita at a thai restaurant really.) i would go back again as i spied a lot of other entrees that looked fantastic.
oh and they go big for birthdays too :)
Very delicious food! Nice service from Sofia
Excellent Thai Food. Highly recommend! Best Tom Yuk soup I have ever had!
Great service, great food, and great vibes! Shoutout to Ploy and her pad see ew recommendation! Highly recommend the Thai fried rice too!!
The service was very good. The curry puffs and the Khao Soi were very delicious. It's very rare to find Khao Soi, highly recommend it.
Very accommodating for a short notice dinner for a big group. Delicious and fast service! Would come again!
Shared a bunch of dishes with some friends. The Thai iced tea and the massaman curry were the standouts!
Had an amazing dinner with my girlie! Both had the Panang curry and Thai milk tea. Very yummy indeed. 🤤
Amazing place, spicy but tasty food
Ordered take out, overpriced and small portions.
Ordered 2 mango sticky rice and an extra sticky rice, totaling over fifty dollars. Open my order and no freaking utensils in the bag!? Are you guys serious?
Incredible food. The roti curry with tofu appetizer was delicious - my companions were skeptical but ended up devouring most of it. They never had tofu that tasted so flavorful and tender, and the curry was spicy, but balanced with coconut milk. For mains, one person ordered the massaman curry and was blown away by its complexity. I ordered the pineapple lychee duck in rice - interesting combination of flavors - the pineapple was in rings, so didn't meld into the rest of the dish like one would think... But it was phenomenal regardless. The mainstay Thai dishes are taken up several notches here. And the grandma and signature dishes are all interesting treats. The service is good/fine - I understand it was quite busy, I came here for the food. My only qualm was the atmosphere - it was impossible to hear anyone talk let alone myself due to the acoustics (other tables talking+music reverberating). Some sound dampening like curtains or foam would help.
Foods were ok, but no service at all, after we sat down for 15 minutes, no water no waitress and no change plates when the plates were dirty, obligated to give 20% tip after tax, don’t understand why we need to pay 20% for taxes too when there’s no services at all.
Delicious Thai food in a cute atmosphere with great service
Went with my girlfriend for lunch and it was very good. We ordered the Pad Thai and Spicy Basil Fried Rice which came out super quick and tasted fantastic. Be advised that the spicy is very spicy, which is great for me, but if you can’t handle hot foods I would severely recommend you get it not spicy!
Amazing food! I’m still dreaming about the Spicy Basil Fried Rice! I will say if you can’t handle spicy foods, make sure you order the food without spice because even mild is very spicy.
Excellent food--specialty and grandma menus are a delightful surprise. Wasn't able to get attention from staff to get plates and utensils. Will definitely come back tho... recommend.
I order on Uber eats this was the best Thai food ever!!!! Yum I’m going in person soon.
Rude service, waitress are not professional. Making customers wait 15 minutes before looking at the menu? Lol okay.
Many better options nearby that I would suggest you visit. This is over overpriced and a poor customer experience.
Great vegetarian options. Amazing taste. Decent priced
The place is small and cute. The service was excellent. The menu has interesting dishes that makes the place feel authentic. The roti Massaman was very good but I wish the sauce was more spicy. The fried quail egg wontons lacked flavor. The Massaman curry was delicious however the beef was a bit tough and chewy. Definitely would come back to try more dishes.
Probably the best Thai spot in North Slope, though that's not a high bar due to the scarcity of quality Thai restaurants in the area. While it mainly caters to takeout, the restaurant also offers a pleasant dining space. The standout items on the menu are the classic Thai dishes, such as pad thai, pad see ew, and green curry. Although they offer some special dishes, none have been particularly impressive.
Had an unbelievable meal here with friends. I convinced them to try the quail egg wontons & they were a huge hit. We also tried the zabb wings (incredibly well seasoned & juicy), the papaya salad (refreshing with a nice kick), drunken noodles (a classic done perfectly) & the pineapple lychee crispy duck w/ coconut rice (show stealer)!! The cocktails were also great. Will definitely be back to try more.
Pad See Ew is one of the best around
Ploy gave us the best service ever! Both food and drinks were delicious, tasted authentic, and came in large portions. Spring rolls, pad thai, drunk noodles, and Thai tea drinks were all so good! Will want to come back on my next visit
Tasty. Accommodated food allergies and preferences. Great atmosphere.
Fantastic food.
Best Thai in park slope. Dont @ me!
In a neighborhood full of good Thai food, this restaurant has become our favorite. We usually get takeout, but we dined in today for lunch and it was wonderful. Standouts were the pork belly and tom yum fried rice, though everything we ordered was fantastic.
One of our family’s favs! Delicious and unique thai food. They also did an amazing job accommodating several food allergies for some of our party. Highly recommend!
I've only ever ordered takeout, and it was delicious. But it doesn't compare to eating at the restaurant. The ambiance, service and above all the food is absolutely fire. I had the crab fried rice for the first time and it's definitely in the top 3 dishes I've had living here in Brooklyn. The service is wonderful and they also have a beautiful cocktail menu. Can't wait to return!
Delicious, really unique Thai food - definitely the best in Park Slope!
Love this restaurant! Highly recommend any of the curries, especially the lychee duck and the massamum curry. Can’t wait to return.
We went for a Mother’s Day dinner and had a fun and delicious meal! The drinks were unique and flavorful, the food was perfectly seasoned, and we especially enjoyed the massaman roti and tuna larb appetizers. Highly recommend for a special meal! The restaurant was really accommodating of spice levels. It was a great experience!
Very likely the best Thai restaurant in Brooklyn and the food is as beautiful as it is tasty. I HIGHLY recommend Bangkok degree.
Everything here is 5 ⭐️. The service is excellent and so is the food. It’s a must try if you haven’t tried it yet.
Very good!
really yummy thai food!! the drunken noodles were the right level of spicy and a good portion. my bf got the panang curry and it was a big portion and also really delicious
Good food, good place to eat. Yum
Very attentive staff, excellent food. Good place for good food.
panang curry was very flavorful
Of the many Thai restaurants in Park Slope, this is the first one that offers good food with fresh chiles.
We stopped in here for dinner. I ordered the drunken noodle w/ crispy duck and my friend had the khao soy chicken and we both loved our dishes. Good service - especially during the dinner rush, and the interior is beautifully decorated.
very very crazy every worker very slow 😡😡😡
Just another Bangkok spot. Nothing special.
We order take out from here often but dined in before too. The things we order most often are the Larb Salad, the Tom Kha, the short rib either in Khao Soi (as pictured here) or the curry version, Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, basil rice. I like how they have the options of crispy pork belly and crispy duck but after trying it 3-4 times, it's almost always overcooked and dry. Almost like it's been refried several times and becomes tough. Instead I'd recommend the rib since it's pretty tender. Definitely get Khanom Tuay if you like coconut, mochi-like, dessert.
We made a reservation for (2) in one week advance. We were seated right next to the entry door. We were constantly crowded out by people coming in for seating or picking up food, and their butts were literally in our face. The food was decent but what is the point of making early reservation if the experience would be so shoddy and lacking forethought?
One entree came out hot, one lukewarm.
Never delivered our food, waited 2 hours. After I called they said it left 2 minutes ago which was a lie. One More Charm down the street is good I will go with that in the future.
really, really delicious thai food
Maybe we came on an off night. The food was nondescript. Delivery men in and out continually made for a cold restaurant. The cocktails were okay. Service was so so. Perhaps better for take out.
This is a great local place to dine in but ordering from there is hit or miss. They mess up orders and ask if they can just fix it next time. Also when you call about delivery status they will say anything to get you off the phone. I was told my order will take another 30 mins and then said I can just come pick it up. Then they asked for my name. I asked how could they know it was 30 mins if they didn’t even know my name? When I gave it, they said the order is “Oh, it’s already on the way.” Of course it was not. It is really disappointing because when they first opened their service was unbelievable and caring. Now they’re just ordinary.
Service was good. There was a mix up with our pick up order and they gave us a free Thai iced tea for the inconvenience. Pad See Eew was tasty and the drunken noodles were spicy in a good way. Space was cute inside. Would definitely go back and try dine in.
Just had the most amazing Thai dining experience at Bangkok Degree in Park slope , Brooklyn. This restaurant is beautifully decorated, creating such a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for a night out or a special celebration. We tried the Prime rib Masaman Curry, and oh my goodness, the flavors were out of this world. The prime rib was perfectly cooked, and the masaman curry had just the right balance of spices.
The colossal Crab Meat Fried rice is also a must-try. It is loaded with a lot of crab meat.
For a refreshing twist , we also ordered the spicy herb Fried Snapper with lemongrass and chilli lime paste dressing. It was a burst of flavors-spicy, tangy, and absolutely delicious. Don’t forget the cocktails🍹 . The bartender really know their craft, and the drinks perfectly complemented the bold flavors of the dishes. They were fantastic. A big shoutout to the staff for their excellent service. They were attentive and friendly, and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. If you are in Park Slope and craving some top notch Thai cuisine, Bangkok Degree is the place to be.

We came in on a freezing winter day, and the food was exactly what we needed. Lots of vegan and gluten free options labeled on the menu. The staff was so nice, the green curry was incredible.
Have eaten in and ordered delivery, always consistent and fresh - love having this spot as my local Thai restaurant!
Best pad see ew!!! Real pad see ew eaters you know where to go
Decent meal, decently spicy, decent portions, good service
Slightly odd that they were sweeping up around and under our table as we were finishing our meal
Headache inducing playlist of club bangerz. No-one else seemed to mind, it just felt very out of place for a quiet Thursday evening.
Comimos el menú de medio día y fue una delicia. El servicio muy amable. Nos encantó. Volveremos
Great place to eat if you like your food swimming in sugar and syrup. Wait service was abysmal - waited a long time to place order then door kept swinging open in the depths of winter bringing cold air into the place that no one in the staff seemed to care about. Sorry. But basics should be easily accomplished. . .
Panang curry was good! The roti massaman was good as well. Vegan options are clearly labeled: most of the curries and some appetizers are vegan. I would come back here if I’m in the area, but not dying to come back.
Pad see ew is great, beef jerky is pretty solid.
Lovely neighborhood Thai spot! Walked in on a Sunday evening and was pleasantly surprised by all the decor - the interior was beautiful. We tried the pork skewers, pineapple fried rice, drunken noodles and a coconut dessert. Everything was really good and our favorites were the skewers and coconut dessert! Our food came out super fast and everyone was really friendly. Great spot!
Nice atmosphere. The food was okay. My shrimp pad Thai had too much tomato flavor in it
Amazing food! And such a good price the chicken wings with lime seasoning are to die for
The most delicious Thai food in Brooklyn!
Not bad at all, but not exceptional. Fair prices. They warn you when you order spicy (“We won’t take it back if it’s too spicy!”) but the hottest spice level really wasn’t very spicy at all.
It kind of felt like the playlist was designed to torture us. They played the same Justin Bieber song three times in the 45 minutes we were there.
Spectacular little place, food and drinks were exceptional, decorated really nicely and staff super friendly. Definitely coming again when in the city
Best food is here. And it is good. You know what, very good.
B-D is Thai food you have to try.
Beautiful holiday decorations. Outstanding service. Food is first rate with ample portions. Highly recommend.
Great food and great vibes. Would definitely recommend!
Stopped in for a pre-theater dinner. The place was empty when we arrived, but got busy quickly. Reservations are a good idea. My fried rice with crispy pork was very good. Jasmine tea (with a tea bag) was nice on an autumn evening. The Massaman curry (with mock-duck) was very good as well.
We thought about dessert and were given options, but oddly, we were told there was no time for dessert because there were other people waiting for our table. Hustling people out is not a good thing.
Really good food with generous portions.
Nice spot for a tasty thai meal
The beef jungle curry was not coconut based so it was a bit more on the runny side but it did pack that classic Thai spiciness. The winner by and far was the Hung Lay as the pork belly was tender and the overall curry was very flavorful. The portion sizes are very good and they did not skimp out on anything. I would go back just for that pork. The cocktail for me was a bit too strong but good otherwise.
Vegan curries! Delicious
Showed up early for a 6:30pm reservation on a Friday. At 6:50pm, they asked us to leave because a reservation was waiting for the table - despite the fact that we had arrived just 45 minutes earlier, and ourselves had a reservation. Felt incredibly rushed and uncomfortable, not a pleasant dinner. Tom kha soup and decor were lovely though.
What a gem of a place! To be honest, I was not a fan of Thai food, but I stand corrected and I am a believer. The Curry with thier style of Roti, spring rolls, wings and the pineapple fried rice was excellent!! And i cant stress that enough. The vibe and atmosphere dining in was great! Will i return... Yes and will do take also. Great place!
Spicy Thai food. We had the drunken noodles, basil fried rice and dry rub wings. Would specifically recommend the wings. It was spicy and flavorful. Make sure you make reservations since wait times can get long.
Nice place with great Thai food definitely the best in the area!
Served up amazing Thai food in the midst of the flooding with grace and smiles. Superior dishes with beautiful presentation...large and savory. Excellent prices for this level of quality.
