Rude staff the man is very rude and confrontational.

Diner Review №24

Its Overpriced!! Chicken pad thai was not very well cooked. Chicken still had the farm smell.

Diner Review №25

The food was actually really bad. For the price they charge for a single item for the menu, I was expecting good quality and decent tasting food. It was the opposite. The coconut Tom Ka soup was so absurdly sweet. It was hard to make it past 5 sips. The thai pad was also too plain and had no taste aside from spice. Was not worth the amount charged at all for the food. The fried rice was also very plain with no taste whatsoever. Furthermore, for the price, the portion was incredibly small, with nothing redeemable in taste either. Just get thai food from somewhere else or buy something else.

Diner Review №26

I ordered my drunken noodles spicy not inedible. It’s overpriced and they skimp on the protein and veggies.

Diner Review №27

Food was disgusting! Ordered a papaya salad extra spicy, why did i get a sweet, bitter extra spicy papaya salad? Its suppose to be sour tangy and spicy. Also ordered chicken wings, why does it taste like its been flying around in a bag of masala powder or curry powder and this is suppose to be THAI?!

Diner Review №28

El empleado fue muy grosero y descortes. No vuelvo a ese negocio.

Diner Review №29

The food is terrible, I ordered a Pad Thai & it was watery & soupy. I asked about the Shrimps & were told they are frozen the crab meat is canned yet they cha they charge $17 & &18!!! Also this is not authentic Thai food, it Halal Thai Food done badly. Please beware and do not come here, also there is no seating area. Everything is just wrong with this place, stay away!

Food is good

Diner Review №31

They sound pretty good food in the staff is very nice

Diner Review №32

The food was good. Nice Thai flavors. We always order and pick up and never had a bad experience yet. I do think they are a tad pricey.

Diner Review №33

I'm used to queens thai so I might be spoiled but. The restaurant upcharges $3 for shrimp and $2 for beef. The protein quantity does not justify. Also, they use very low quality beef and frozen tiny shrimp (5 pieces). The pad see ew tasted like pad thai. Please fix your protein portions and the flavor of your dishes.

Diner Review №34

Food was pretty decent. However for the amount of money I was charged. For the amount of food is ridiculous. Looks like they made one order and split into two orders. Container wasn't even half way full.

Diner Review №35

Vegan avocado curry was lowkey crazy idk🔥

Diner Review №36

Got a Drunken Noodles from this place, they had it ready in under 10 minutes and it was hot, tasty, fresh, and really nice.

Diner Review №37

Just yesterday, their Pad Thai gave me nausea and lots of diarrhea. It wasn't even good compared to the Pad Thai I've had in the city. Needless to say, stay clear of any place that doesn't handle their meat properly.

Diner Review №38

Ordered take out from here - generally a take out place. Got the red curry lunch special with chicken. The dumplings that came with the lunch special were REALLY good. The red curry was ok, nothing to be excited about. They are stingy with the chicken in the curry and I saw another reviewer comment the same. I hope the restaurant reads this and opts into putting more meat in their curries.

One thing I did notice while looking at reviews is there seems to be some fake reviews. Hoping that the restaurant is not involved in this scheme.

Overall decent place - would try again.

Diner Review №39

I've only had delivery here, but I plan to visit in person this year. I often order lunch and dinner from this restaurant and I have not been disappointed yet. I always get the golden puffs and Thai iced tea with each order. I prefer the pad see-ew or drunken noodles with beef, but their chicken and tofu are really good as well if you don't eat beef. I also tend to get their dumplings, which are dense and very filling. If you are introducing someone to Thai cuisine, this is a great place to start.

Diner Review №40

I’ve been ordering food in person and via UberEats for about 3 years and unfortunately, I’ve experienced a decline in the consistency of the food. The only items I order are the drunken noodles, spring rolls, French fries, and/or the Thai iced tea. The most recent order of drunken noodles was extremely disappointing; I couldn’t consume more than a few pieces of carrot and broccoli from the entree. The noodles were over saturated with water so they were thick and breaking apart and everything was under seasoned. It tasted and looked as though the preparer rinsed the flat noodles and vegetables then sprinkled black pepper on top. There was no sauce at the bottom of the container like there usually is and areas of the flat noodles were completely colorless with no flavor. I’ve ordered their drunken noodles over 20 times so as soon as I opened the container, I knew it was not prepared correctly.

This is the second or third time I’ve experienced the drunken noodles being inconsistent but this seems to only happen when I order online. When I ordered in person in the past, everything was delicious and fresh. I’m not sure if this is done intentionally because the business knows that online orders are less likely to return the meal because there’s a third party delivery service as opposed to when a customer orders in person, they can easily express dissatisfaction directly in-store. Regardless, I’m disappointed and will no longer order from this restaurant.

Diner Review №41

I ordered their pad Thai noodles on Uber eats, too dang sweet, tasted like sugar and a pinch of noodles,my total came about 24 dollars.total waste,I am pissed, cause I really craved Thai noodles, and I checked reviews before ordering from them and this is what I get.this is why I don’t order food in the Bronx,I am reminded of that again.

Diner Review №42

Was appalled when I received my order for Tom yum noodles. It’s just broth noodle soup, not Tom yum. Zero spice. For the price, it’s atrocious.

I placed a large order for delivery that was completely wasted. The order so many issues.
-Spicy Basil dish with vegetarian duck had shrimp skin in it
-Tom Kha soup was so sweet it was not edible, never had it this sweet
-The Golden Curry was under seasoned
-The BIGGEST ISSUE was we got a a Thai Iced Tea and it was not wrapped for delivery and it all bursted open in our bag of food.

It was very unfortunate and the lack of consideration in the order was very disappointing. I would not recommend this place.

The delivery was great and packing. The food has 0 spice- Ive never had a just salty Basil Fried Rice and drunken noodles without any heat. They didn’t even ask for spice level so I assumed it would be a regular level of spice, but it was just bland. The lemongrass soup was also very bland. I would not order from here again.

Diner Review №78

This time Thai Cuisine let me down. I love Thai food but, due my IBS I can not have it all the time and when I have it, it must to be with not chilly at all. Recently I placed an order through Seamless and on the notes I put to make sure to make it with not Chilly powder ( I know, I supposed to write Chilly "Paste" ), then I called and spoke with someone who I explained what I wrote in the note, he said he got it and he will make it without Chilly, guess what?..When I got the food, it was Spice as hell. I called them and have a little argument with the guy and then he said " Oh you wrote chilly powder and we don't have that, we only have chilly paste"..????....But, it's the same, he said NO..But, if it's not the same, why you didn't correct me when I called you to check my order ?..He wanted to play smart with me but what he played is his dumbness. I think I'm done with this people, this happened to me before and it was fixed, remember the lady that'd works there, Guadalupe, that she fixed for me, but this time I had to call Seamless and make an adjustment on the bill. Some restaurants owners/managers instead to fix their mistake show their arrogant and condescending side instead to keep costumers returning.

Diner Review №79

No good at all, I asked a red curry with beef but I didn't find the beef. It didn't taste good either 🤷🏾‍♂️

Diner Review №83

I am sadden about the review I am going to leave, only because I have adored this restaurant for 7 years. I loved coming here and ordering takeout. The staff up front is quite friendly...
However, lately for the past year I have been utterly disappointed. Thai dumplings have been over cooked, the chicken is hard and dry. Firecracker shrimps overcooked to the point of being burnt, and their specialty Thai drinks have been super sweet.
There is a female cook whom I have seen several times annoyed when cooking or giving orders. A restaurant that used have A ratings down to a B😔
It understandable a lot has happened since COVID-19... I beg Employers and employees of Thai Cuisine harmonize in being the great restaurant you once were.
Sincerely
-A concerned consumer
REVISED:
It's been over 2 months and figured I them a shot... again. The coconut soup and summer rolls were unbearable to eat. Waste of my money and taste palette. Anyone writing good reviews are lying🤥 or delusional. I said what I said.
Thai Cuisine get it together you have the potential to get back on your feet and you've had B rating for far too... Get back to that A!

Diner Review №84

This food is scrumptious, absolutely mouthwatering flavor. I ordered on Uber and it came hot, exactly how I asked it to be with less sauce and more veggies. It’s really great honestly, yummy food.

Diner Review №85

This was the worst Thai food i had. Place is dirty, a lot of people in the kitchen hovering over the food being cooked. The grease to prepare the sweet chili wings was old and my wings were fried too hard. If you decide to eat at this place just know you’re taking a risk of your food not being what you are craving. Also my order of pineapple fried rice came with no pineapples and the pad Thai was soggy. Reviews are important you have been warned.

Diner Review №86

THE BEST QUALITY of ANY THAI FOOD in the Bronx!
Pros: Customize Order , Efficiency & Accuracy, Tasty
Cons: None
So I always offer an honest review.
THE BEST QUALITY of ANY ASIAN FOOD in the Bronx! This was my first order but surely will not be my last. Everything was seamless ,from ordering to the efficiency. The prices were fair. The portions were generous. Most importantly the flavors were AWESOME! I was able to customize the spice level for a family meal, making them kid friendly. I was so pleasantly surprised. The delivery presentation was also immaculate. Even my delivery man came through timely in a heavy storm. Which means the food was ready timely because they are on the opposite side of town from me.
Stars: 4.5 out of 5
Personally Getting a 5 from me is tough. But they came super close. A five is perfection. Meaning service had that extra wow, something commendable or went above and beyond. Like an incentive to return.
Examples: A loyalty card, a free item on next order,a discount percent. Something. There always a way to get the customer back.
Otherwise, EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS in local quality.
Ordered Delivery 1/25/23- 'REVIEW' (sorry I can't adjust the photos)

Diner Review №87

Amazing! Thai!

Diner Review №88

there is no option for zero star

Diner Review №89

ZERO vegan or vegetarian options. This restaurant has a false "vegan" menu on Uber eats and other sites, but the restaurant DOES NOT have any vegan or vegetarian options. They use fish sauce and oyster sauce in everything. Restaurant misrepresents dishes and ingredients. I would NOT trust if they advertise as vegan, vegetarian, halal or kosher. THEY DO NOT RESPECT DIETARY NEEDS.

Diner Review №92

Diner Review №93

Love Thai food it's a mixture like Puerto Rican cuisine.

Diner Review №94

Worst thai food ever, barely any flavor to their food. I got the pineapple, basil fried rice, wings and pad thai-just taste so bland!!

Diner Review №95

worst pineapple fried rice i ever eat 13dollars for lunch but quaility is bad simple not tasty and not fresh salad. i do not recommend

Diner Review №96

Honest about why you are waiting and still fast. Dasher thanks!

Diner Review №97

The food does not do Thai cuisine justice. The pad Thai was horrible. Tasteless. The dumplings were dry and inedible. The soup was mediocre. I really regretted ordering from this restaurant.

Diner Review №98

First time here was at the lounge next-door which was really nice /grown came next-door to get me some food to go home, Thai rice with chicken awesome Thai rice with shrimp and beef fabulous chicken wings was OK expensive but the rice was fresh will definitely go back again!

Diner Review №99

Pad Thai was poor and overall terrible. The drunken noodles and dumplings were great. Don’t get the Pad Thai.

Diner Review №106

Best food in the twon

Diner Review №107

Food was not tasty. Ordered the Pad Gra Prow
w with chicken, there was very little chicken in the dish. Just small thin pieces of chicken that looked like the leftover pieces from another dish. The dish lacked any spice, and was minimally flavorful. Didn't taste like authentic Thai food at all. The Pad Gra Tiem with Shrimp had weird bone like items in the food. Had minimum flavor and was meh at best. Definitely will not order again from here. The portions are extremely small for the price and the food lacks authentic Thai flavors and spice. A huge disappointment. There are true Thai Restaurants in the Bronx & some in upper Manhattan that deliver that provide a much better amd more authentic experience than this place. Save your $$ and go-to an authentic Thai spot. This appears to be a "Chineae Restaurant" that prepares poorly made inauthentic Thai food because they don't think the population in the area knows any better.

Great halal Thai food. Items can be made spicy which has a very good kick. Bengalis may run this joint but definitely food taste authentic.

Diner Review №119

The roti is amazing and so is the drunken the noodles. The one bad thing is there no quality control with the spice. One day a two is just right and some days makes me cry. But overall, great food and the workers are really nice.

Diner Review №120

The food is okay. Sometimes the pad Thai tastes good, sometimes it smells like feed and isn't so good. The steak always tastes good but other items are a hit or miss.

Diner Review №123

I ordered from Thai Cuisine via Grubhub at 6 pm on a Friday and was prepared to wait. The estimate I received was that my food would arrive in an hour 25 or an hour 35 minutes. A while—but I had read good things about this place and was tired of my pedestrian local Thai joint. At 8 pm I called the restaurant to see where my food was and was told that the driver had hit a lot of traffic and they couldn’t provide an estimate of his arrival but he was on his way. Bear in mind this place is less than two miles from my house. A half hour later I received a call from a cell phone informing me that my food had been given to someone else and my order was being cancelled. No offer of a discount or substitute. Grubhub followed up with me and told me that the restaurant reported the order had been cancelled because of a menu issue. It’s nearly 9 and I’m heating frozen chicken nuggets in the oven and coming to the conclusion that the local Thai place may not be the world’s greatest Thai—but they always deliver what we order, and generally ahead of schedule. I understand that Friday night is a busy time for restaurants. But I don’t like to be lied to. Bye, Felicia.

Diner Review №130

Been here on several occasions, between their prices and having to deal with the hangout in front of the liquor store next door and the bar next door dunno who's worst!! Anyways ordered the shrimp curry, they literally put 6 pieces of shrimp for $17 and they're not even that big!! Like c'mon a total rip off. Gave them a chance again eventho i was not satisfied prior but when I asked for the food to be delivered this time because I didn't want to deal with the crowd outside the guy has the audacity to say that it would be an extra $5 for delivery that would take one hour to get to me, so not only do I have to pay $22 for 6 pieces of shrimp but I have to wait one hour!! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!! It will take less time to go get Thai food in the city for better quality and cheaper price. They can keep their 6 shrimps for $22. BYEeeeeeee

Diner Review №131

This restaurant never disappoints! Our family’s Friday night take out option. The vegetables are fresh, food is DEEELICIOUS! Ive tried the garlic shrimp, golden curry puff, pineapple fried rice, thai fried rice, red curry, golden yellow curry, red curry, salmon panang curry. I will definitely try other dishes. The best Thai Halal restaurant in the Bronx! The owner and the staff rocks! The food is really good and fresh, this serves as our comfort food. Don't forget to order their Thai Iced Tea, it's the best in New York! 😉👌👍😋

Diner Review №149

Great food, great service. Only regret I'm not in delivery radius for doordash and Uber eats. Had to take a cab. SMH.

Diner Review №150

Consistently awesome!!! Favorites are drunken noodles and duck tamarind 😋😋
Their curries are great too lot of flavor. If you go Spicy it means really spicy 🌶 so be aware.
The owner is very down to earth and friendly and takes care of you. Try ordering direct instead of Uber eats to save more and get it faster. Most importantly it’s a great halal option to repeat.

Diner Review №151

Beef satay burnt and dry. The pad thai taste ok but the beef super dry. The only thing I like from my order was Roti Canai.

Diner Review №159

I always order Thai food from this place. Their food is so amazing and so is their service. I come here sometimes just for their Thai iced tea lol. A must if you’re in the Bronx area.

Diner Review №160

Diner Review №161

I’ve ordered delivery from here about 3 times now, and they have not disappointed. The fries are great and they give a lot, the pad Thai is fresh (although not as “traditional” as you may be used to if you’re an avid Thai food fan), the thai iced tea is also great (but can err on the sweet side if you like yours with less sugar). My go to dish would be the spicy basil, the flavor is perfect and the veggies are cooked excellently without being watered down or mushy. Want your food so spicy that your ancestors feel it? Just make a note when ordering and you shall get what you desire. It’s my favorite Thai place in the Bronx and I will be continuing to order from here when the craving strikes.

Diner Review №162

Dumplings are not good. I asked if the had oysters, the paid said yes and gave me vegetables with oyster sauce 😐

Diner Review №163

The food was horrible. Totally disgusting and unacceptable. Customer service was poor too. STAY AWAY FROM THIS THAI RESTAURANT!!!!

Diner Review №164

Firstly, no one in this establishment is wearing a mask. Not the cooks or the person taking our orders. This is unacceptable, we are in a pandemic. The spring rolls were good, the pineapple fried rice was not great. I would recommend adding more pineapples or an ingredient to add to the sweetness. The rice also needs a smokier taste. That’s what the wok should have provided.

Diner Review №165

I was sick and ordered a spicy soup with veggies after speaking to the employee, to whom I requested 3 times that there be no meat. When I opened my soup I found a piece of chicken almost as large as my palm. When I told them about it, they refused to discuss beyond “ok”.

Diner Review №166

Diner Review №167

We order from here quite frequently. Great thai food here in the bronx. We order between the same 4 or 5 items and we are never disappointed.

Diner Review №168

Great food. Great 👌

Diner Review №172

Spring rolls are good, not a whole lot of filling but crispy.
Tom Kha was a little sweeter than I’ve had before but not the worst.
Spicy Basil Chicken (Pad Gra Prow) had no basil or spice AT ALL.

Diner Review №173

The food was good, It's mostly a take out place as the seating is very limited.

Diner Review №174

I didn't like my lunch special. The pad Thai was soupy. Too much sauce. And the spring rolls were cold. I'm disappointed because I was looking for a new Thai place near me 😫

Diner Review №175

Great curry puffs. Fast delivery with wonderful safe packing. Definitely a hidden gem! A+

Diner Review №176

Diner Review №177

Diner Review №178

I don't like to write review about my food's experience, but i have to share my opinion about chicken PAD THAI. it was the worst Pad Thai I have ever tasted. it was like watery spaghetti. it tasted very acidic and like they used tomato paste. The flavor do not taste at all like a normal Pad Thai. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT

Diner Review №179

I have been waiting my food for more than 2 hours and still not food. The restaurant fooled me saying that they had problem with Grubhub. Hence I called Grubhub and guess what? They never had any problem with the system. If people don’t know how to
Do their job they should just close down.

Diner Review №180

Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Portion sizes are very small and not suitable for the price. The food is bad and has no authentic Thai taste and lacks flavor. Wouldn’t come here, there are much better ones in NYC.

Diner Review №181

I ordered delivery on Doordash and the food cannot be worse. My order: Tom yum soup, Pineapple fried rice, pad thai, and fried wings. EVERYTHING tasted like SEA WATER. The cook must have mixed up sugar with salt. Pad thai was extremely wet and salty. Pineapple fried rice got some sweetness to it thanks to the pineapple which is the only reason why I gave 1 star (other than that’s the minimum). The worst thing was the tomyum soup and I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s just sea water.

I’ve had Thai food and Thai fusion countless times and this is by far the worst and most unauthentic. This is not Thai food. Periodt.

Diner Review №182

Diner Review №183

My husband and I decided to go here for our anniversary dinner last year. I was immediately disappointed when I saw how small the place was, as we were going with our 2 kids and honestly, I was expecting a “fancier” place. I couldn’t complain because I chose it after reading some reviews. But the man at the counter, who we later found out was the owner, was extremely friendly and they had SO many options on their menu. I love Thai food and I immediately knew what I wanted. The food was just amazing! We had great conversation with the owner and we tried to convince him to open up a new branch in Queens, because he’d definitely put the rest of the guys on Hillside out of business. He also gave us a complimentary fried ice cream when he found out it was our anniversary. I never got the opportunity to go back but I suddenly had a craving for Thai food and realized I never gave a review. I can’t wait to visit again!

It's hard to find a good papaya salad but this placed nailed it! The papaya salad was very delicious! Definitely recommend

Diner Review №194

Delicious papaya salad and sticky rice

Diner Review №195

if i could give 10 stars i would. This place has renewed my love for Thai food. Local Thai in the Bronx is lacking, but I have found Shangri-La with this establishment. I was reticent to order at first, in fear of possible disappointment, The lunch specials brought an abundant selection of items to try and I was extremely satisfied with everything, even down to the salad dressing.
At this point I would order anything on the menu and I can't wait to explore.
Great Job!!
As far as the Pad Thai goes, it wasn't typical. That doesn't mean it wasn't good. It seems as though many Chinese spots have it on their menu nowadays. If you want a more typical flavor, head in that direction. I enjoyed the refreshing change.

Diner Review №196

Ordered takeout and was surprised. The pad thai was not as authentic as I'd hoped but the spicy Thai basil rice was good, even though it could have been spicier. They forgot to give us the Thai iced tea we ordered, which we were given later and was pretty good, especially for the price. The lunch special overall seems quite reasonable. The soup and salad was good and the vegetable dumplings and shumai were especially great. I would definitely recommend that the pad thai recipe be improved upon.

Oh , yesss ! The food is sooo yummy. I do take out so I'm not able to say what the restaurant is like. I am able to say how my delivery orders are on time , the food is quite delish. Comes hot and fresh. With spoons and forks , condomins . drinks. You will love it as much as I do surely.

Diner Review №199

I order for delivery all the time from Thai Cuisine.
I have to complement their cuisine. It is really good and authentic. The lemongrass soup will sparkle your taste buds, really good soup, chicken cherry tomatoes. It is red in color because they put spices in it that gives it tons of flavor.
I love their spring rolls, their shrimps with a fish sauce mix, their drunken noodles, their fried rice is so delicious.
Their summer rolls is great, however I never had summer rolls served hot...so I request them cold..with their homemade peanut sauce. Really good.
I definitely recommend this restaurant for a unique taste of authentic Thai Cuisine, like their restaurant name. :)

Diner Review №200

Food is awesome, fresh, halal with the authentic thai flavors and taste, but they lack space for sitting arrangements..hoping to see them improve that aspect in the future!
