Sweet, spicy, savory and absolutely beautiful food. Penang Curry is absolutely 10 out of 10. However, next time I might brave it a level 4 spicy. Price was around $15 and entree. Portions were ginormous. Definitely enough to share. Do your face a favor and try them out next time you're in the NASA area.

However, I went tonight and ordered chicken fried rice as well as pad Thai again and also some other dishes for friends. Zero flavor . It was so odd because the first time was so good and this time the Thai people with me thought it was disgusting because they didn’t make it with good flavor.. I’m really hoping these guys will be able to do better.

The shrimp were large and you get a whole lot of them, breading is just enough to absorb the sauce. They tasted fantastic! I also liked the cheese puffs, they're not sweet like some places, which is my preference. And they're huge! Larger than golf balls. Definitely coming back, can't wait to try out the curry and some of the other appetizers. Everything looks good!

Great service, quantity, atmosphere and flavor; however, the Red Curry, my favorite dish, was extremely salty, I hope this was a fluke, I really was impressed with everything else. Why can't restaurants realize it is so easy for someone to add more salt, but impossible to remove it. I have stopped eating at many places because I do not like salty food.

I tried to request my Tom khaki be less spicy but was not possible, but they said it “starts out mild.” It’s still tingle your tongue spicy, certainly not white folk mild 😅 (seems like a theme in this area - if it says spicy expect hot, even if they give you a 1-5 spicy level scale the 1 is still spicy) I’m already dealing with a stomach irritation thing so not ideal for me today, ate about a 1/8th of a cup before deciding “Hold up, not smart today” I will be freezing my portion for later bc it’s so tasty! But for me, it’s nowhere near mild.

When I go to a new Thai restaurant, I always ask for a Tom Kha soup because it allows me to see how good the restaurant is. The Tom Kha soup I ordered was one of the best I have ever had. No wonder: Thai Jasmine used to be our favorite restaurant in Houston when it was located near the Alameda Mall. They have now moved to Nassau Bay, which is much closer to our home. What a blessing!

Very excited to have a Thai food restaurant in my own neighborhood! I got take out so I didn’t eat there but the food as great. I Got Tom Kha soup and Basil Fried Rice and both tasted much better than I have had at other place around town. I look forward to trying more!

This place just opened in my neighborhood & I’m thrilled bc I tried it for the first time tonight and it’s delicious! It was ready for pickup on time, and all the food was freshly cooked & hot - like straight out of the kitchen. The Tom kha ga is perfect (get the large size); the veggie puff & cheese won ton appetizers are good flavor and texture & both come with sweet chili sauce. The dining room is updated & has nice evening lighting. All the staff was very friendly and kind. Prices are good, as well. Needless to say, I’ll definitely be returning.

This review is for Thai Jasmine. (Note that a lot of the reviews are for the previous Vietnamese restaurant.) I'm writing this negative review because I want the restaurant to succeed and maybe this will help.
We went there for lunch. Ordered the red curry and drunken noodles. I asked for my noodles to be extra spicy. The waitperson said they don't cook spicy food. She pointed to the sri racha bottle and said I could use that. I asked her to instruct the cook to make it as spicy as they could. As you might guess, the noodles came out with zero spice. None, and almost no basil. They were sweet, oily noodles with chicken and bell pepper. Not good at all. The red curry, on the other hand was pretty good, not overly sweet, and had a mild heat to it.
As we were eating, a customer came in and asked for his food to be spicy. He was also surprised at the "we don't make it spicy" reply.
The menu has some standard Chinese items like kung pao chicken, so you you know right from the get-go that this might be a watered version of Thai food.

Excellent food, value, and service. We had the beef drunken noodles, tofu red curry, and the vegetable puffs. All were really good. Great experience.

We came in on their second day open. My wife had the Pad See Ew and I had the yellow curry. Both were excellent. We also had some vegetable puffs as an appetizer, and those are a must get. Service was fast, the food was fresh, and everyone working was quite pleasant. We will definitely go back!

Tried Thai Jasmine for the first time as they just opened. The service is excellent. I got Chicken Satay and Panang Curry with beef, the food is amazing, I will definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good meal.

I've been going here for lunch for years as I work a block away. Lately I've been going sometimes twice a week because I had found a favorite dish, the beef vermicelli. Today my colleague and I found a cooked cockroach in our food. Not the tree roach, the smaller one so that means infestation. We got our money back and was given an apology, however he informed us that the roaches were coming from the vacant space next door and that the roaches were getting worse. Probably not something you should share. Anyhow, I hope the problem gets resolved but unfortunately we will never return.

Bahn mi was pretty bad, I don't know what part it was but it tasted freezer burned. Very little meat or Cilantro. I will not be going back.

So, so good. In town visiting the Space Center and stopped by for late lunch/early dinner. The food was delicious. It may sound weird, but it tasted very clean. All the veggies were fresh and crisp. We had spring rolls, beef and mac and chicken vermicelli. If we lived local, this would be our 'go-to' place.

I'm always looking for a good Vietnamese place near my house. This isn't it. The chicken on my vermicelli was entirely too salty. Then I tried my wife's pho broth and it was pure salt. Won't be going back. There's lots of options around besides this.

I'm not sure how this place has all of these high reviews. Most of the reviewers must not be Vietnamese because this was one of the worst Banh Mi I've ever had. The bread itself was good as well as the pickled veggies, but that's about it. I got the Banh Mi Cha Lua. There was barely any cha lua in there. They put WAY too much soy sauce in it. There was an extremely thin layer of the Vietnamese mayo and no pate at all. What kind of banh mi has no pate?

I was also annoyed that there was a minimum of $10 in order to use my card. I ended up getting two of the Banh Mis. Plus the place was hot as hell. Felt like they barely turned the AC on.

Awesome little spot fr Vietnamese food. I got the combo sandwich and some summer rolls. Staff was friendly and helped explain the menu. Sandwich was great, bread was not dry. Summer rolls were good but a little big for me. If I am ever back in Houston, I gotta stop by and try the rest of the menu.

The food was amazing! This was our second choice for pho because the first was closed. That was the best food decision my boyfriend and I have ever made. 12/10 would recommend the beef &brisket pho with fried dumplings. Would definitely eat again.

I used to eat here once a week with my dad back when it was nasa fast food. A few years back when they changed ownership, I found the quality really slipped. I was back in town for a wedding this weekend and gave it another shot. I’m glad I did. Things are just as good as I remember them being a decade ago. If you stopped going, I recommend you give them another shot. Best Banh Mi I’ve had in years. Great stuff.

Will I had take out there for the first time and everything was to my expectations. A different kind of food but I'm enjoying it though it's so much.I ordered one of the soups it had steak in it.

I ordered take out and did not dine in. The food was honestly delicious. The portions were smaller than I’m used to and when I ordered sweet tea to go, I was given unsweet (didn’t know and it wasn’t explained to me there is no sweet tea here). Despite the portions being small, I definitely felt full after finishing my food and don’t feel like it detracted from my enjoyment of the meal.

(I know the woman didn’t quite understand English 100% so she might not have known that sweet tea is brewed hot with sugar added, then iced. I added sugar myself because it’s really not the end of the world but I wouldn’t have ordered the tea had I known they only served unsweet. I’d have definitely gotten something else.)

The place is worth a try even if it’s a little pricey.

Don't waste your money or time! I ordered the item #9 "Fiery Beef Steak Cube". The meat was TOUGH as shoe leather. The taste was bland. The menu states that it comes with "...., pickled shredded carrots and daikon, cucumber, garlic and fish sauce", but none of these items were there. And speaking of the plate: the plate and portion was small, NOT WORTH THE NEARLY $14. I would have ordered more food to go but changed my mind. Very disappointing.

Had a quick meal outside, glad e we stopped here even tho I wanted a gyro. Vietgood.

Pretty good Vietnamese food. Mostly grilled meats in a variety of dishes (sandwiches and rice plates) and pho. There are some other stews and family dishes as well. Nice people and a quaint little restaurant.

Been trying restaurants that sell banh mi sandwiches normally drive to Don Cafe in Houston China Town, have been trying places closer to my house cause on a good day the drive to Don Cafe is 50mints so today's I picked Nasa Fast Food great customer service banh mi sandwich meat has an artificial smoke taste, the # 13 short rib and beef plate, beef taste was really bad, between frost bite and rottan meat, have not found a place to replace Don Cafe definitely not this place.

Been here before the renovation and new management, food was good. Came by today and met the new manager. The place is very well renovated and better equipped.
Since it has only reopened for a week, please give them some slack to catch up on their new business operation flows.
As for the food, so far so good.

Allow me to address the fact that they are obviously capitalizing on the nearby space center. This is funny because there is nothing space-themed about this place beyond some clip art on the menu. It was my first time trying Vietnamese fast food and I wasn't excited about all the vegetables but it was actually quite flavorful. We each picked a dinner option and split an order of the shrimp spring rolls. I LOVED those things and want more. Staff members were pleasant and helpful. The place seemed clean and some locals were there discussing how nice the remodel job was. I would definitely go back and I wish them luck with their new restaurant!

I go to vietnamese restaurants all over houston and Nasa Fast food is the very worst. I couldn't even eat the food. I ordered my food and waited around 30 minutes, it was frustrating but i thought it would be worth the wait based on reviews. While i was there i heard the microwave beep in succession the entire time i was there. The food finally came out. I took my first bite of chargrilled pork, it was tough, dry, and tasted old. It had definitely been microwaved.The rice was clumpy and obviously had been microwaved. The person i was eating with ordered the chargrilled chicken. She said it was old, doused in a rotten sauce and the worst chicken shes ever had. Before the second bite i examined our food and found hairs in both dishes. If you are reading this and are conflicted because of mixed reviews but still eat here. Just remember I tried to warn you.

If you are going to eat inside the restaurant, be careful because the tables and containers of sauces are sticky because they are dirty and you can see that there is no hygiene, but the food is rich.

The #4 special sandwich is my favorite sandwich ever from any restaurant, hands down. I always come back here when I am in town because their food is so good. The #31 dry is great as well. The owners are very nice and this little restaurant will always be one of my favorites.

Terrible food. They wrapped my spring rolls with, leftover "very dry and spoiled" BBQ pork, no mints, no shrimp, no rice noddle. It seems when they run out of material, they gather whatever they have at the time and put together the dish. It's awful. Other foods are greasy, and old. Never go back.
