On the fly, Alex and his staff worked to put together tables for 24 of us in ten minutes (I called ahead). He and his staff were attentive, brought us appetizer plates to share our food if we wanted. Our group really enjoyed the Thai curry (red, green and the massaman). Pad see ew was the most popular dish of the night and tons of sushi. Kiddos were fans of the rolls (eel avocado, California, and custom captains roll). I enjoyed my sashimi deluxe and chirashi. Thai Iced Tea was so good.

The drinks here are good! It's a very nice upscale looking place. The first time I came here I thought I was somewhere in Manhattan. I was actually surprised, for a place like this in this neighborhood. It's definitely a hidden gem.

I’ve been ordering from Hado for the past 4 years. It was a sincere mistake. I am a vegetarian and I don’t eat meat or any seafood items. I normally get the Drunken Noodles but I wanted to try something different. When my food arrived, it had a pungent smell to it and I couldn’t take a single bite from it. I realized that it had fish sauce and I was allergic to it. I contacted the restaurant immediately and requested them if they can change my order because it was a sincere mistake and that it’ll go to waste. I even offered to pick it up, but the owner was adamant about it not being their mistake and constantly rejected me and said that they weren’t going to do that. They even said that I should re-order from UberEats but they wouldn’t offer to replace it

The shrimp Tom Kha soup was great. Good size. The angry bird roll was awesome. It had a topping of crab. There are various sushi dishes. Can't wait to try others.

I used to dine in and do take outs at Hado for many years as it was across from where i lived. Everytime it was better than last time. Then we moved but recently got food delivery from them. Nothing changed a bit. Amazing Thai food. My personal favourite is the Thai Red Curry. I am glad they can deliver through Grubhub yayy🙂

Went to this place while doing something with family and the place was dead, the food tasted really bland and pricey but perhaps the worst thing about it was they already included the tip with the bill and ran up the price. Furthermore, the server was also incredibly rude.

Called for delivery and the person was very rude. When I called him in his rudeness he said that’s the way he talks and to bad if I didn’t like it. After all of that the order was wrong and not good at all. I would not recommend this place at all.

Last minute get together will family and they love Thai food and sushi and Hado came through.

I went in and ordered takeout and ordered about 4 things of sushi. I was surprised with how fast the food came out, but I assumed they had made it earlier due to it being dinner time. However, the sushi they gave me was bad. It gave my food poisoning.

Lousy specialty roll, #1 Dragon roll on their list. First ingredient - eel- could not be tasted at all. 8 small pieces. Rice was loosely packed and overcooked.
$14.95 ($16.28 with tax) is too much for cucumber and avocado roll. Well, it tasted ok, but I felt cheated on the "eel" part. They used to be OK. Now I would not recommend Hado.
Go to Fuji instead. I called them immediately after and got delivered in 30 minutes perfectly made avocado and eel roll, 6 pieces for $6.75 before tax. Also tuna and salmon sushi, one piece of each, were very good.

I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and the mango sticky rice for dessert. TBH the dessert was better than The Pad Thai. The entrée was very very sweet and also had a strong lemon taste to it. The textured was off as if they added alot of corn starch or some kind of flour. I filled myself with the dessert versus the food. I just could not enjoy the entree.

Ordered California rolls under "cali dinner" option. Crab did not taste fresh at all, neither did the seaweed wrap in the roll taste fresh. I also ordered a shrimp spicy noodle (as their drunken noodle option) and was biting into crunchy egg shells. Shrimp was also mushy and had a fishy taste. Who wants to experience that!? Please order else where.

Food is good but the delivery driver was weird. Held the food and demanded a tip even though we used Uber eats. Would not recommend using Uber eats to have food from here delivered.

Wasted time and money. The food was soggy. The pineapple rice contained more pine than rice. The calamari was oily no flavour no crunch no salt..
And the curries were bland. Very little vegetables the scallops were smaller than buttons. The 2 stars are actually for the Thai iced tea and the delivery driver.

I don’t usually leave reviews anymore but I built up an overwhelming urge to inform the community on how bad this food was. $30 for liquidy rubber “teriyaki” chicken/ half UNRIPE avocado roll and a low grade tuna avocado roll / and a WATERY miso soup to top it off. The only thing they made that was remotely acceptable was the rice and I can’t even attest to that either. Terrible x3

First time trying, and will not be returning. Found veins in shrimp dishes, and eel sauce was watery so my roll was soggy and drenched in it. Best thing about the meal was the ginger. Even the wasabi was not great quality. I'm normally not a huge stickler for that kinda thing unless I'm somewhere fancy, but it was obvious enough to mention. Disappointed. I really wanted to like this place. Threw out half the food I got and chewed a bunch of gum after.

Stopped by here because of the fresh 🍣 sushi and quick 😋 eats! Tempura & salad is always light on the tummy. Hado is located right near the Van Wyck so you can call ahead and grab your eats then head home.

Hado has always offer good atmosphere and the food always on point. My family’s favorite is the vegetables tempura and the sushi.

Hibachi rice was bland and lacking in salt. Everything else was ok though. I prefer Sup Thai.

This restaurant has some of the best chicken fried rice around town.they give you a decent portion of food. Nice size chunks of chicken with a little bit of eggs inside seasoned just right, makes for an awesome meal. The cashier was nice and friendly, and the restaurant was clean.it is definitely a hidden gem out in briarwood.

Good food but TERRIBLE customer service I have been ordering from here for 2 years. I called to place and confirm an order after trying to do it via uber eats. I encountered a NASTY ATTITUDE from a female whom hing up on me multiple times after I tried explaining to her that I was trying to ask n confirm my order being one of my kids prefers a swap of avocado to cream cheese and I couldn't get order through she told me it wasnt her problem and hung up on me I called back and she argued n kept canceling my order. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL. I'm sad to say we may not order from here again unless shes gone! People need to learn how to speak to eachother.

This place was great. They had safely precautions such as needing customers to wear a mask before entering and they provided hand sanitizer at the front desk for people. As of right now you can only order takeout and there isn't any delivery but thats just for the safety of the people. Also great sushi.

I ordered a spicy california roll & it was not what I expected. It looked exactly like the grocery store bought sushi & not spicy at all. I also got gyozas, but I was expecting more for $7.25. Not worth the prices. I felt ripped off.

I ordered for pickup and they took more than an hour for my food to be ready. Mind you it said it would be ready by 2:50 i got there around 2:40 and waited an hour And 20 minutes. Ridiculous, when i got home the food was cold ( i only live 10 mins away) and the pa tai vegetable noodles was powdery. The rolls were alright but they gave me a weird feeling after eating them.

Swanky lounge for the briarwood area. It's a Chinese restaurant that's posing as a Thai/Japanese restaurant, it's okay at best but the drinks are tasty.

I just wanted a little snack so only ordered a roll which by the way was particulary small and a soda. The waiter did not want to give me the wifi passord despite a sign being hanged on the door saying WiFi because she felt like my bill wasn't large enough to get it pfff never coming back. Decoration is messy btw

Avoid this place at all costs! I'm suffering from atrocious stomach virus where the pain lasted for 3 days. They're lettuce isn't fresh, the rice was stale, the chicken teriyaki was DISGUSTING, the California roll tasted weird and funny.

I like this place very much. The food is tasty and the servers are friendly and patient. I have been here several times and I always enjoy my visit!!

Ordered my food @6:40pm came to me COLD ! Smudged up @8:30 Not even worth it thank you for wasting my time and getting my order wrong! Worst Sushi place I’ve ever ordered from. i called them more than 15x to ask what was taking so long and they avoided my phone calls. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

Ordered delivery and they got my order wrong the first time. Had to refund the money and then wait for yet another delivery. And the portion size is in no way comparable to the price. The second time I got a sashimi Salad They used sashimi scraps as the protein in the salad. Very distasteful and misleading. I didn’t pay $10 for a bunch of sushi scraps and nasty dressing. And barely any greens. There was so much fish skin still connected. Would never order from this place again.
