Thai food Thai restaurant
Delicious!! Ordered a quick lunch consisting of Tom Kha Gai soup and drunken noodles. Noodles were extra hot and spicy, as requested, and were spicy as they were supposed to be. Both were very good, only minor criticism is that i prefer the noodles a bit more al dente and more of them... seemed like more veggies than noodles in my order, but as i said it was delicious. Dishes were both served nice and hot as well... couldn't scarf it down without scalding my mouth. It's a small unassuming place, a few tables and chairs inside, maybe better to order from than dine-in. Otherwise, I definitely will order from again, many appetizing Thai dishes and drinks on the menu I am curious about. Would recommend.
Tiny space if you're eating in, but the food is excellent! Panang curry was very flavorful with a friendly spice level. Would definitely recommend.
We have been going to Tonnam for 2 years now & love EVERYTHING we have had there!!! They ask what degree of spice we want & go above & beyond to make sure our experience is the best!! They are the sweetest people & make us feel like family!
They don’t need me promoting them, they are always busy but I feel bad for anyone who hasn’t tried them!!
Take it from a Thai person that this is the most authentic Thai food you can find on LI. My husband is American and he can take way more spice than I can and we asked for Thai spicy. I recommend you get homemade coconut ice cream with stick rice at the end of your meal. Awesome staff, clean place and great food!
The food was very good and I have no issue with that. The issue that I have is, if you have a dine in option, how do you not have a bathroom for your customers? When I asked if i could use your bathroom, you lied to my face and said it was broken and to use the restroom across the street at the gas station. I was with my daughter, who had multiple medical issues. I feel that it was way over price for a "hole in the wall". I spent $64 on 2 lunch specials, drunken doodles, small soup, and a thai ice tea.
This is the real deal, food is outstanding. We ordered a drunken noodle and a crab fried rice. Drunken noodle was great and spicy, while the fried rice crab was extra chunky and fresh.
Is great ngl

Great fresh Thai food
Tiny space if you're eating in, but the food is excellent! Panang curry was very flavorful with a friendly spice level. Would definitely recommend.
Food was unbelievable. Very friendly as well. Will be going back

My go to place for Thai on the island, pineapple fried rice and green curry are my favorites
Food was excellent!

Worth the time and money. Defo recommend.
I have eaten here twice and the food is incredible. Great drunken noodles and THE BEST Masaman curry I’ve ever had. Highly recommend
Fantastic, I had the Massaman Curry , it was great, the waitress was very sweet and attentive.
My daughter, her best friend and I went for the first time, what's delicious! 😋 we definitely go back for a second time 👍🏽👍🏽
Did a Uber Eats. It was one of those orders that make you want to leave a review when you’re not one of those “review people”, and this review is not for good reason.
- The green curry had a handful pieces of chicken. Asian style chicken, always thinly sliced so a handful pieces equates to absolutely nothing. Basically $20 for green curry water. Needed a thicker consistency as well. Heat on point.
- Ordered the broccoli plus extra veggie. Rubber, possibly from the over steaming with lid on? Drenched in their sauce, tasted more sodium than vegetable.
Overall, decently priced but won’t be ordering Thai from here. Plenty of better Thai options on the Island. Happy eating to all.
My wife and I really enjoyed shrimp pad thai & beef drunken noodles. Very flavorful, right amount of spiciness, and I can tell they use fresh ingredients. Would love to order again. Hands down best thai on Long Island 👍
This is best Thai Food for me.
🫰😋yummy
Wanted peanut sauce for a party, other thai place ran out so only able to get 1 PINT for 5$, so had my teenage nephew go here and get a pint of peanut sauce...they said they only had tiny ones I said ok get 10 they charged him over 16$!! Now I don't know if took advantage because of his age or what BUT that price is ridiculous!!! To your response I didn't get out of car because I'm handicapped and walk with cane so I had him run in which is truly none of your business. As for the price that's not the price he told me when you viewed your cameras!
Hands down the best Thai food I have ever had (and I’m from Queens), to the point that my entire perspective on Thai food has changed (I used to not particularly prefer it, now I find myself craving it and wanting to try different things). The only thing better than this place would probably be eating in Thailand, that’s how authentic, fresh, and delicious the food tastes. I would encourage anyone eating here to try some of the lesser known dishes.
The owners are wonderful and accommodating (for those who shy from spice, they will tweak the spiciness), and can I mention they have homemade dessert?
I’ve eaten here almost a dozen times now and every experience is a gastronomical dream. Highly recommend.
This is a small storefront restaurant with some of the best Thai food we have ever eaten. Altho a small place with a very basic dining area, (more of a take-out place) it has some of the grander cuisine designs. Food is fresh, lively and spiced to perfection. We usually dine in, our server is pleasant and efficient. Highly recommend for a super casual but delicious dining experience.
Tonnam Thai is one of my favorite restaurants ever. The food is amazing. The hardest decision I make all week is my choice between the pad thai, drunken noodle, or red curry. The lunch special is such a great deal, dinner is amazing, and it’s made even better by how fresh the food is and how quickly the team has it ready. Massi and the team are absolutely amazing, it feels like I’m visiting family whenever I eat here, and I’m just grateful work is so close by. Thai spicy is *actually* spicy, which I also love, but the food is so flavorful that I change the spice level around sometimes. I can go on forever about how much I love this place, so I highly recommend it to everyone. Thank you Tonnam!
Great food. Absolutely delicious.
Incredibly tasty food from some of the sweetest people you could hope to meet. I have been coming to them since they first opened, and they're seriously the best restaurant of any sort around the area.
Favorites: curry puff, Veggie Delight, pineapple fried rice, Volcanic Shrimp
Really liked this authentic Thai restaurant! Got take out and then dined in. Small but very nice. Their TV has a cooking show on that is pretty fun to watch too!
Lived in Thailand for years and this is the most authentic Thai food I’ve had in America! Ordered 4x this week! An absolute hidden gem!
Super Super excellent and exclusive taste 👌
The Glass Noodles Tofu Soup is one of the best soups we’ve ever had
Panang Curry - big portion and not too spicy with a nice sweetness from the coconut milk. I would literally drink just the curry and be happy
We also tried the Drunken Noodle and Pad See Ew a different time and both were phenomenal. I would go out of my way to get takeout here anytime. Every dish we tried is 10/10
I'll be back
Little place with big flavor! A nice treat.
Best Thai food I've had on Long Island! I've been to Thailand and this really does taste authentic! I had the Panang Curry, it was delicious and just the right amount of spicy imo!
Excellent..top notch food
Everything is amazing but I am addicted to their Tom Kha Gai. Their Thai tea is also very flavorful, and their spice level is actually Thai level spicy! Best Thai food I ever had on Long Island.
Really and surprisingly good Thai food, full of flavor and spices that really stirs your taste buds. Good selection of dishes with good service. Try it and you can thank me later
I ordered here through Uber Eats for the first time tonight. Just wow I am usually very disappointed with the quality of Asian food and Suffolk county. This place is authentic! The food is delicious. My food came well packaged and still hot. 10/10 beware EVEN the mild level of spice KICKS! 🌶️ So yummy!
The best red curry I have ever had, this place is delicious! trust the reviews 😊
I asked for mild (little spicy) and it was way too spicy and I love a little spice but hard to enjoy I would def ask for no spicy next time. Taro puffs were good. My complaint would be just to ease on the spice otherwise the food is very tasty and fresh
Food is top notch. Food has great flavor and the spice is solid. Great if you like spicy food but also has things that aren’t spicy. Love a good Thai spot. The ease of ordering online for pickup is awesome. Love that there is something else around to eat other than pizza and sandwiches.
Food was phenomenal! Fresh, hot and delicious!
Delicious food & amazing friendly staff. Our favorite lunch spot.
So happy I found this place. Definitely worth a trip 100%
Definitely recommend this to everyone first time coming definitely a 10/10
My girlfriends tried this place we had to put two tables together so the 3 of us could eat in the restaurant. So it's not really a dine-in kinda place. But we made do with what we had. The food however was so delicious. We all loved it. And I gotta give props to making my green curry spicy. It's was perfect. Normally Thai places you have to ask them to make it Thai hot and it never is. This time their regular spice was perfect. So beware I can't imagine what Thai hot really feels like. Yummy. We highly recommend ordering takeout. It's also very close walking distance to watson's public house bar. Another great spot for Karaoke sat nights. Drinks are great there too.
Was absolutely blown away with the quality of their food! Tried a bunch of dishes with my buddy and we couldn’t believe how good every dish was. My new Thai spot for sure!
Excellent dining experience in the restaurant.
I took my food to go, but it was delicious
Outstanding food. Excellent dining experience in the restaurant and the takeaway service is wonderful.
The dish was so delicious.
Thanks for your service and hospitality!
Absolutely delicious and authentic Thai food.

If I could give one star I would. My fiancé and I got food for pick up late yesterday afternoon. We got two thai iced teas, which were great, and it went horribly downhill from there. We got shrimp Pad thai and shrimp pad se u. Already overpriced, but it smelled fine, so whatever.
We were throwing up, having stomach cramps, and in the bathroom many many times that evening and this whole entire day. My fiancé left work because of his suffering. I hope this was fluke, but I am NEVER EVER coming here again.
Best Thai food on Long Island.
RED CURRY is amazing flavor
The service really good, clean and friendly 100% recommend thanks
Some of the best Thai good I've had. This is small restaurant serving absolutely amazing dishes. There are only a couple of tables so it is mostly takeout. My favorite is their Pad CU, but everything I've had has been delicious.
By far the best Thai food on Long Island. Other restaurants here just taste bland and feel inauthentic by comparison.
Amazing Thai food and great service! Had a bunch of dishes, but my favorite was the duck salad. Super fresh and tasty!
Nice place to pick up some good Thai food, great choice of drinks, good service, welcome to the neighborhood.
Excellent
Ok. The. Best. Thai. Ever! The crabmeat fried rice was a festival of flavor, chock full of delicious crab meat. The pad thai was savory and fresh, with perfectly cooked noodles and an abundance of bean sprouts. The skewers marinated to perfection. I just wish I had a bigger stomach... will be back soon!
Fantastic food. Tastes better than most Thai restaurants in NYC. Very impressive.
Amazing food so many great options everything we tried was so good! The chicken pad Thai, chicken pad C U (pad see ew), shrimp spring rolls, taro pastry was so yummy and flaky, and the crab and cheese wontons were crispy and delicious! So happy to have such a great Thai spot so close by!
First time trying Thai food....Woman working there was extremely helpful in making sure she steered me in the right direction...food was absolutely delicious...I highly recommend this place to all...👍👍
Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. Super authentic, the staff was lovely and attentive. The plating was GORGEOUS! The food was even better than it looked.
Best Thai I’ve had on LI, by far.
A THAI HAVEN on the east end of Long Island. Truly yummy food and the nicest owners.
Food is very good. It's really only a take out place so order ahead.
We ordered out for the first time from Tonnam Kitchen. The coconut soup, spring rolls, and drunken noodles were excellent! Everything was fresh and seemed house made.
Excellent Thai food. The Peanut Pad Thai was very good, as was the pho chicken bowl. And the Volcanic Shrimp was delicious. Will go back again!
Always fantastic!
Everything was fresh and delicious authentic Thai food. I highly recommend this place
Reasonable priced. Lunch specials are large portions.
Ordered for the first time tonight. Delivery was so fast and the food was outstanding. Basil chicken stir fry was some of the best I’ve had!!
The food was delicious!
Had the Drunken Noodle for lunch, it was fantastic!
The very nice person taking my order was very helpful in assisting me choose a dish, as I am unfamiliar with Thai cuisine. I will be going here from now on.
The food was very good. We ordered the basil chicken and spicy eggplant. When we asked for spicy it was actually spicy. Order early and expect the food to take a while.
Surprising find in an out of the way location. The food tastes like a fancy Thai restaurant but tucked away in a hidden corner of a little strip. Big flavor Big taste little place.
Excellent new Thai restaurant, highly recommended
Absolutely fabulous food!
My wife is from Thailand, she say’s this is the moat authentic Thai food she has had on Long Island. Very tastey!
We ordered the rice berry with shrimp and cashews. Huge portion. Absolutely delicious.
The inside of the restaurant is spotless. The employees are very friendly. It's on our weekly lunch picks!!!
This place is excellent!!!! The food is great. Reasonably priced and delicious. The owner Brian is a super nice guy. Super clean restaurant for great take out. Total hidden gem right in Bohemia.
Great Thai Food at reasonable prices. Small place, so don't expect to dine-in. Mostly for take out or delivery.
The food is so fresh and delicious. My second time here and just as good as the first time.
Delicious food. No reason to go anywhere else for Thai
Was so excited to see an authentic Thai restaurant coming to Bohemia. They were so kind and the food we got was delicious. We got the mint cilantro duck salad, pad Thai, and pork Ka Prow Moo Grob, and mango sticky rice. Just like what I had went I was in Thailand. 100% recommend!!!!
Best Thai food around 10/10
Impressively delicious food! We had lunch here today and were blown away with how flavorful and fresh all of the food was. Really great new spot. Must try!
Staff is very pleasant. Food was so fresh and delicious. Definitely will order there again
Food was great! On the expensive side but it’s worth it because of the quality and quantity.
This place is my go-to authentic Thai cuisine fix. Delicious food, well worth the money. A true taste of Thailand, if you-know-you-know”, on top of that Great customer service. There were days where I ended up going twice in a day 😳.
Excelente menú con variedad de comidas incluyendo "vegan" que es nuestra forma de alimentación. Todo bien presentado y con un sabor riquísimo. La entrega fue mas rápida de lo ofrecido. Super recomendado.
Great food!!! Excellent service!!! I recommend this place
Extremely well made food. Would highly recommend.
New Thai place that’s excellent. I tried the Green Curry and Drunken Noodle and both were delicious!
They also have my favorite Thai Iced Tea I’ve had on Long Island so far. It actually tastes like tea which I love
resturant was extremely clean. Lady at the counter was friendly.
i had the veggie dumplings and the chicken with cashews.
Both were delish!
Delicious, high-quality Thai food at a great price
I really like the food as compared to other restaurants. The food was fresh and the owners were super nice. We were the first customers and will be back. Hopefully the place will be successful
