Standard outpost serving an array of classic Thai plates such as spicy curries & noodle dishes.
Finger licking delicious BBQ Pork Ribs, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her Ginger Chicken. Our server Daniela’s infectious smile only added to our fantastic lunch experience, and the owner even took the time to say hello and check on us. Boon’s has a very comfortable atmosphere, and we are very much looking forward to returning!
Tried the larb gai (minced chicken salad) and it was very good. They even have the traditional Thai condiments tray. I also had the red curry with their fragrant jasmine rice and it was pretty good. I felt like it was missing some kaffir lime leaf and zest. They have signs for and the menu lists Singha beer but the server said they have been out of it for a while (why?). Overall, I would have scored 4.5 stars as I save a 5 for truly outstanding flavor and service.
We came to Farmington for work. I’ve been to many cities throughout the country. Best Thai food in New Mexico!! Albuquerque and Santa Fe have nothing on this restaurant. I was impressed with everything. Waitress was super sweet and welcoming. I noticed when people left, employees would thoroughly wipe down and clean the tables. We ordered thai iced tea, and it was delicious!! fried potstickers 🥟, Pad Thai,
Spicy beef salad 🌶️ 🥗 , lotus heaven. Wasn’t a problem finding parking.
Was seated right away.
Clean, calm atmosphere. And of course the food was delicious ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had our dinner here while visiting Farmington. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. The two appetizers we had were very good. I personally believed they both were refried, but still they were flavorful. I ordered Khao Soi mainly because I had never had that before. And it was wonderful. It’s like instant noodles in a yellow curry soup.
As many people mentioned, all the staff were super friendly and helpful. If we ever came back to Farmington, we definitely would consider having dinner here again.
I just want to thank these amazing workers. Keep up the good work. I appreciate you ALL. The BEST food I've tasted.
My visiting daughter treated me to Boons and I was excited as she was to experience Tai food. She raved and raved about her strange titled food. I ordered a simple baked chicken with white rice and it came with some weird dipping sauce. While my daughter made sumptuous noises with ever bite I CHIPPED a tooth on my CRUNCHY rice and needed a steak knife to SAW through my baked chicken! I chewed on the leather splintery chicken endlessly before I could swallow. Thep dipping sauce didn't help the super DRY baked chicken. I left hungry and injured but couldn't dash my daughter's experience. Don't order American at Boons...
Khao So I was delicious. Staff also went above and beyond for a traveler with a fur baby in tow
The pho was not the best they didn't add enough meat to it. The noodles were hard the broth didn't have flavor and the bowl was super small for the price

Best Thai in N M food is authentic ,& consistently excellent

Great food and good service!
I have tried just about every pad thai in Farmington, finally I tried here and omg this is now my go to. It’s seriously amazing!
My fiancé and I LOVE this place. We have loved every item we have ever tried from here. My personal favorites are the Pho and the yellow curry. They are so warm and comforting 😌
I eat here every time I’m in town. Great food!
Just went to this place for my second visit. It was a busy Friday night and there were two tables available. We seated ourselves per mgmt instructions. Soon a bus person came out and provided menus and water. At this point we waited 20 minutes to get someone to take our order. I even placed the menu over the edge of our table to get attention. Up to this point no waitress ever introduced herself to us. We did not know who our waitress was? We flagged down a bus person and asked when a waitress could take our order? The bus person was very concerned and stated that it seemed "off" and service up to this point was not very good. I was told they were, "short on staff tonight." I can understand that. Quickly, our waitress showed up to take our order. This SAME waitress had walked by our table for the last 20 minutes at least 10 times. After waiting another 15 minutes we asked about our appetizers and beer. The appetizers quickly came out, no beer. Again, after 5 minutes, I had to asked for my beer? We were NOT done with our appetizers, when our dinner showed up. Sad, that appetizers and dinner practically show up at the same time. I was unfamiliar with the crispy tempura ka pau that I ordered. There was something missing? It was the Ko Pau sauce. The kitchen delivered the dish without the sauce! At this point, I was tired of having to ask for everything and decided to just go with the sauce in the triage of sauces that come on all the tables, BUT our table did not have one! Again, I did not feel in the mood to ask for this. We quickly asked for to-go boxes and got out of the place. A complete waist of $55.00 and a Friday evening. I do not think I will be coming back again and I will NOT suggest this place others.

Couldn't ask for a better place to eat. Love the staff, love the food. We make the trip into town as often as we can just so we can go here
So good. Thai hot curry was just right and super spicy. Yum!
Wonderful ambiance in the restaurant and it looks like they have live music sometimes. They have a covered outdoor patio.
I really wanted to like the food to save the mileage from going to Aztec, but they just didn’t deliver in flavor and quality.
I have ordered the larb, red curry, and Yum Woon Sen on separate visits. 1 takeout- 2 dine in. Each dish, each time was WaY over salted - the larb take out I couldn’t eat it was so salty. The spice level of 4* is a 2 at other restaurants.
After 3 separate orders over 3 months, I won’t be back.
Great background music and amazing decorations. Food was good and prices were ok
The food is always great here. We came in tonight at 8:30 PM and were told the kitchen closes in 10 minutes, while the waitress assumed we wouldn't order, as she brang no menus. We placed an order and were hurried through our meal, given dirty looks, and told there would be no refills on drinks because, "the kitchen is closed". Absolutely poor service. If they can't get better waitresses we won't be back.
The worst service ever! Waitress didn't smile, she looked pissed off about something? Food tastes bland. I had a family member that said why did we pick such a crappy place to eat? Never will I recommend this place.
Very friendly waiters and really nice and helpful 👍.

Loved it would return, very friendly fast and amazing atmosphere, ice cream was so good and tasted home made
Excellent!
Excellent food and service. We ate Pad Thai, Lotus Heaven, and Red Mountain. We also had the egg rolls. I've eaten egg rolls in at least 100 different places, and these were hands down the best I've ever had. 😃
Amazing food and service!
My husband (Indian) and I (Chinese) both enjoyed the food. We ordered spicy basil fried rice, green curry and beef salad. For dessert, we ordered black sticky rice mango. We liked everything we ordered.
Love this place! Great food and they can accommodate my vegan lifestyle. Love the Red Mountain with steamed tofu with brown rice. Yummy 😋
I try to go here every time I'm in town. "Salads" are good, but the Pad Kee Mao is pretty bad.
This place always vies for my first or second choice to eat. So many favorites. Had lunch here recently on the patio. Mary was our server, she always very attentive. I struggled with what to order, because I wanted one of everything. (Seriously. I could eat every meal here). Then, I hit me! The Nam Sod! It was a hot day, even on the patio and the Nam Sod was perfect! Either the chicken or pork is recommended. Sorry I didn't get a pic, I devoured it. Boons is always an A+.
My first time to Boon's proved to be an enjoyable dining experience. Daniela provided wonderful service in a warm, friendly way which only added to the overall impression of Boon's.
My husband and I went recently. The atmosphere was cozy. However, I can not express how wonderful the food was. The pad Thai (husband ordered) was extremely tasty. I had the cashew chicken. It was GREAT! I LOVED the cashew chicken. I am often disappointed by cashew chicken, but Boon's is PERFECT! There are plenty of cashews and chicken and wonderful fresh vegetables as well.
Great place
I had placed a to-go order here about a year ago and unfortunately had a horrible experience with both the food and the service. I kept hearing good things about it though, so I thought I should give it another try and maybe they were just having a really, really off day. So, I gave it a shot and ate in the restaurant. The server, Jasmine was very friendly and gave some great suggestions that we listened to. Is this the best Thai food I’ve had? No. But it’s good and it’s nice to have something a little different from the standard fare found in Farmington. Glad I came back & glad I listened to Jasmine’s helpful suggestions; I will come again in the future.
A Farmington favorite! I enjoy our meals here and love the pad thai!
Food was absolutely amazing but service was really slow. Granted it was dinner rush but it took 20 minutes to get my bill.
Very good Thai! We were just visiting Farmington and some friends recommended this place. So glad we went! I had the spicy chicken salad and added a level 2 heat but couldn’t notice it. My husband got the khao soi with a level 3 heat and I could feel it and would do that spice level next time. Both dishes were amazing!
Amazing experience. I will return.
Food is amazing here. Cozy environment. Friendly staff.
My husband loved his pad Thai. I didn’t like my pad se ew, something tasted very bitter when I ate The broccoli 🥦 I had to spit it out. I’ve had much better pad se ew elsewhere
Great food, relaxing atmosphere, and it's not a chain restaurant! One thing to note: if you order something like Orange Chicken or Lotus Chicken, make sure you also order rice as these entrees did not come with rice.
Incredibly accommodating and thoughtful to a very large party for a surprise birthday. Service is on another level go here asap
Small portions of food and you have to order rice separately. Every Asian restaurant I’ve ever had serves rice with their dishes. Disappointed. The dish I ordered was cashew chicken and served like a soup instead with a watery broth/sauce. Unfortunately this is the best Asian cuisine in town. I do not recommend.
เคยมาทานแล้วอร่อยแบบไทยๆ หลายอย่างได้ซื้อไปฝากเพื่อนด้วย
Everything was prepped so nicely for take out. I ordered curry and it got home with no issues!
We had our dinner here while visiting Farmington. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. The two appetizers we had were very good. I personally believed they both were refried, but still they were flavorful. I ordered Khao Soi mainly because I had never had that before. And it was wonderful. Will go back.
excellent
Excellent service with even better food. I only wish Thai hot was spicy. The hotter, the better, but that's just me! Either way, you can't go wrong eating here. They serve various Asiatic dishes other than Thai food.
Food was great service was on point the music was chill
I loveeee this place I get the pho DAILY so delicious 🤩
Drove 1.5 hours to eat here and it did not disappoint. The beef pho and Crispy chicken were delicious! Will definitely be returning.
The food is amazing and the waiter was very kind
Food is delicious. Servings are smaller than you would expect.
This is one of the two best local restaurants in town. You can't go wrong taking visiting guests here. The food is excellent and the owner flies to California every week to get fresh seafood right from the coastal vendors. That kind of dedication is apparent in the entire menu. The service is great as well. This is a "foodies" restaurant you can tell your friends about when you travel home. Highly recommended!
Very welcoming and great atmosphere! The food is to my taste, which is not quite to Thai people. I enjoyed my visit!
The service was great - but that's it. It's a Thai restaurant in a similar place to real Thai food as panda express to real Chinese food, everything was sweet, which covers up the aromatic/layered nature of Thai cuisine. Its good ratings can be proof that the Americanization of cooking is working well for its audiences of this town. Not saying it doesn't taste okay - it just doesn't really taste Thai
(The instant noodle in a sour yellow curry soup bowl - their signature, it was okay. Also ordered pad kee mau but the noodle was undercooked, coagulated, and weirdly... Chopped into small pieces...)
Always great service. Food is amazing. Mango Curry. :P
This is a cute little place worth trying. We have always had decent service. The atmosphere is a little outdated but has really pretty Thai decor. The food is very delicious and authentic. I recommend the Green Curry with a side of rice, the Sumai (pot stickers), Pad Thai, and the Crispy Tempura Ka Pau. Enjoy!
Not as good as it used to be.
Delicious authentic Thai dishes. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Looking forward to coming back and working my way down the menu!
Main place I eat when I. FARMINGTON...
I did not notice anything special about this place. The food was okay. I ordered a yellow curry with pork and white rice. The waitress brought brown rice at first, but corrected this error momentarily. Too bad the kitchen put me on a chicken instead of pork. I did not want to wait for do-over and finished the chicken. The check came in momentarily with a smile. Oh, well.... just another review on Google maps.
Delicious food, but very minute servings for the price of each dish.
Super kind waitress! Really good price for food portions, which are large and filling, but you can’t stop eating it! It is absolutely delicious. There’s slow calm music playing, and the place looks very authentic. A manager (or owner) came and asked us how we were and if everything was ok. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! Would HIGHLY recommend, and would come again many times! Great job to this restaurant for the amazing experience!!
great meal...had the salmon curry with steam rice..delish!!
Best Thai food I've had since Thailand!
Excellent food. Great service. Will be back!
Surprisingly great and authentic thai food; especially the Basil fried rice
Dr. Adegite loves this place. I take him here for father's day.
Would you buy this sad pile of fried rice for $16 plus tip? Boons has certainly gone down in quality and selfishly hiked up in price. This is the ONLY asian restaurant I know that makes you pay for rice with your meal. Shame on you Boon. Carry out you will get half portions for same price. Curry has been very watery lately, this is a new issue so I stopped buying the curry. There are also a lot of complaints that they only fill the curry cup half way now. The first time I went there, they didn't even ask me if I wanted a take home box for the curry, it's almost as if they took it away and dumped it back into their pot. Oh yeah, and if you don't like your food, you will not get a refund. They chef won't allow it and they will tell you there are no substitutions. First time I ever heard that at a restaurant. Wow. My advice if you dare go here. Eat in to get full portions and just take it to go, don't tip. This place is a scam! Your new waitress btw, doesn't even ask what spice level you want and I've had missing items in my dish. When she brought them to me, I had to ask for extra! This place only thinks about $$$$. My mom was complaining she was still hungry after eating, not a good thing to hear after paying an arm and a leg. There are better asian places to eat at. 👎👎👎 do better, Boon.
Couldn't even get a waiter to take my order just left instead
Always good always friendly!
The Pad Se Ew was a bit fuller than I remembered. I went there last weekend, I've ordered that but it wasn't much. So I figured next time, I'd ask for more food. But should pay them a visit. The music was a calm groovy feel to it and the atmosphere was just fine
The pho was the bomb. Delicious..
Coconut Shrimp.
Tom Kai Ka.
Chicken & Shrimp Pad Thai.
All yummy.
Boons food is amazing! They have dishes you cannot find anywhere else in the four corners. Their only downfall is the wait, the building is always loud and we waiting an hour for our food.
Best food in town!
Dinner rush makes service take a little longer but it's very much worth the wait.
Don't waste your time! Horrible service! Food isn't worth it! One of the worst functioning restaurants I've been too. Really old and dirty building. Signs of bugs and mice. Did I say horrible service? I'm not from around here and I don't know much about the locals, but my experience at Boons does not reflect the rating and reviews. If you have high food and service standards, and If you're looking for a good dinning experience, go somewhere else. This is a bare minimum type of place. Not good enough for my money anyway. Good luck!
Had the best Thai at boon’s! Coconut shrimp was amazing! Fried tofu was crispy and delicious! And the pad Thai was perfect!
Best of all it was fresh and just as tasty after an hour drive home. I will be back whenever passing through Farmington!!
The food was so very very sad. All the beef and pork were like eating shoe leather. There were only 4 tiny slivers of beef for the pho, and it was already cooked to a grey color. The garlic chicken and the jasmine rice were the only things that were edible.
Thai restaurant that also serves American-Chinese dishes such as orange chicken.
Excellent thai food. I’d recommend the pad se ew, the tempura chicken ka pau, the khao soi, cashew chicken, basil friend rice and the sticky rice dessert. One of my favorite meals anywhere.
The food is amazing and they have so many vegetarian options!
Cool Revitalize downtown location. Great Thai food and service
Only con was that its a bit expensive. They charge extra for rice , I never had to pay extra for white rice before with curry.
Food was good, everything was sweeter than I thought it'd be even the soy sauce had some sweetness to it. Took a long time to receive our appetizers almost 40 minutes, and even longer for our food.
I was actually pretty surprised by how good a Thai place in the middle of New Mexico was. Not only did they have a great atmosphere, decorations, and serving staff, but the food was delicious as well. Their coconut curries are fantastic.
I always make sure to stop by Boon’s Family Thai BBQ when I’m passing through Farmington. I highly recommend the Pad See Ew. Delicious!
Excellent food, though service could be improved a bit.
We had dinner here, and the food was truly excellent. I had the sumai and the khao soi, and both were amazing. Really delicious food. The only downside was that there seems to have been a miscommunication between our maitre'd and our server, because we waited a long time before I went to check with the maitre'd as to who was supposed to be taking our order. After the confusion was cleared up, things moved faster.
I felt like being daring, so I ordered the green curry spaghetti. Amazing! The flavors of the curry were perfectly blended. The spaghetti was nice and hot and it absorbed the curry, making it very savory. The veggies were done just right for me - cooked but just a tiny bit crunchy. The service was great, too.
This place was so good I forgot to get pictures! The coconut shrimp is amazing, I just wanted that all night~ had asked our waitress what her favorite was and she had recommended the pho. This was my first time having pho and it was veeeery delicious! I would also recommend the green curry~ was the right amount of spice. I will be getting all of these again next time :) Our waitress and the staff were very nice~ They had let us bring in a cake and held it in the back for us :) 🌻
It's been over a decade since my last visit. It's been way too long.
Boon's NEVER disappoints! Thanks for another great lunch!!!
So far the best Thai food in the area that we have found!
This is one of the few Thai restaurants in the area and it is probably the best of all of them. It's a cozy, family run business with a comfortable atmosphere. The food is good with ample portions and the prices are reasonable. I recommend the Pad Thai.
norm place
Always fantastic
Always great Thai food at a good price. The servers are wonderful.
Normally great but thats during the day, couldnt even get service tonight. We walked out after 4 waitress passed us by without aknowledging us for 10 mintues, even to say be right with you. It was dissapointing. Hopefully next time i visit someone will actually say something.
Best restaurant in town by far. Have been multiple times and loved every meal.
Boon’s is one of those places that knocks your socks off when you least expect it. Our crew of 8 rolled in less than half an hour before they closed, and when we asked if they could accommodate us, they responded with an enthusiastic “yes!”
We had the same server both times we went, and each visit was phenomenal. Service was quick and friendly and accurate, the food was astonishing, and despite the odd choice of elevator music in the background, our experience was excellent. I can’t recommend the Boon Family highly enough. Beware of the optional “Thai Hot” 🔥🌶!
I would normally give them a higher rating, but today 👎. My wife and I came in sat down the place looked not to busy. We order egg rolls for an appetizer. We had to wait about 15 mins for them to come. I saw 3 different couples come after we gave our order. They got their food way before us. So I turned my stopwatch on and waited. It was about 20 mins. Also, during that time not one server came to us and ask how we're doing. The food was still good , but great it was a little cold . But that's what for waiting almost 40 mins for you to get your food. I also, noticed the some order tickets kept getting moved to the back of the rotation of orders. I could see them putting them up for the cook. So, I don't blame the cooks it was the service. It seemed we were not as Important to them as customers. This is the reason for my rating. My first time ever giving this bad of a rating to them.
Please try this place!! Visited today and had lunch with my wife. Staff is very kind, polite, and conversational. I enjoy Thai food very much, I ate a lot of it back in NY, gave this restaurant a chance and was pleasantly surprised. A must have: Thai Tea! You'll thank me later! Trust me. Thanks Boon's!
The Rad Naah was delicious. Very friendly and attentive staff. Was not busy when i went. Great place for thai!
Food was pretty good and we sat on the front patio. The price for the four of us was around 71.00
Thank's for a good meal.
Love their food. Tried the Thai ice tea and it is delicious!!
COCONUT SHRIMP is a Must if you eat here! Made with Real COCONUT, perfectly crisp and golden. Red Curry is perfect! Orange chicken is Spectacular, perfect amount of sweet, and the golden crisp outside compliments the tender, and moist chicken. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Cute restraunt, and the Jazz music provides a calming, enjoyable atmosphere.
Some of the best food in Farmington.
The food is AMAZING!! Such big portions that you will have food for leftovers
In my opinion best Thai food in the four corners region (though some of the other options are still very good too!)! You really can’t to wrong here, great variety of food at a good price.
